My family and I love living here!!! The apartments are spacious, modern & sleek. The ceilings are high and they come with deep garden soaking tubs. They offer complimentary valet trash 5 days a week so I dont have to take my own trash out myself which is convenient having little ones. And they also have elevators!!! Its located perfectly around everything you need and it is a quite community with very friendly neighbors.

This was a great place to live for a little while but we moved because of all the traffic. People that didn’t even live there kept taking up all of our spots. Went here yesterday to drop off food and the building looks even worse. Walls were dirty and so were the hall floors. Elevator trapped me inside of it. The people that live here are dirty and don’t take care of a damn thing. Trash is always all over the dumpster areas and in the grass. It’s gross and it used to be a really great place to live.

I highly recommend The Morgan to anyone looking for a nice apartment at a good value. The staff were always quick to answer questions and maintenance was always quick and easy. We came home from work one day during the summer to a 90F+ apartment, the AC had gone out. By 7PM maintenance had fixed the issue & our AC was restored.. no complaints. Safe & easy access to the mail room. Trash removal on a nightly basis (except weekends) and large dumpsters located within walking or driving distance to the apartment complexes. Didnt use the grills or pool much but they were always available. Moving out was a breeze, no questions asked even for a few wear & tear items that I thought might cause issues (pulled up carpet, holes from mounting TV etc). Cons: The walls are sort-of thin at times you would hear someone jumping or moving furniture upstairs (This is normal for apartments...) All-in-all I would recommend The Morgan.

I lived here for a year, ended up moving so I wouldnt have to commute over the hrbt. The management and everyone working in the office are great. The apartment itself is nice as well including the appliances. Only issues we ever had were with rude neighbors and one time there was an issue with someone breaking into cars in the parking lot. Location is convinent.

Overall decent place to stay. Staff are always kind and maintenance is very professional while doing a great job. The inside of the apartments look nice and the outside is well kept. If you are sensitive to noise Id avoid due to traffic sounds bleeding in and the walls being very thin. You can usually hear what the apartments next to you are watching on tv and any loud conversations. You can also hear almost every footstep the apartment above you makes. On the food we stay in the hallway has an awful smell due to the guys next to us smoking weed all day but that used to not be an issue until they moved in. The place is animal friendly and even though I dont personally have a dog I always see people walking them and a cleaning area for dog poop is provided. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

The office and maintenance staff have been professional, accommodating and attentive so far and i give them 2 thumbs up. there have been some minor repairs but they have been timely addressed by the staff. unfortunately my experience otherwise has been 5 thumbs down, and i’ve only been in my unit for a week. i hear every single footfall of the kids adults and dogs above me and people in the hallway. i can hear the conversations and singing in unit above me, below me and in the hallways. i listen to the running of water from toilets and washer at all hours and vibrating ceiling when the washer runs. i have not had a decent night sleep or a moment of peace since moving in. the appliances are mid grade and the flooring is low grade. Security is an issue because the entrance doors are propped open often defeating the purpose of secured entry. No cameras in parking and lighting is poor. My car has been vandalized twice. Dumpsters are consistently overflowing and there is goose poop everywhere. perhaps if they didn’t advertise as luxury living i would provide a slightly higher rating. but since they advertise as luxury living the rating is assessed at a luxury standard.

I have no idea why so many reviews are negative. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I had the pleasure of working with Marcus and he has done nothing but impress me with his customer service skills. He is so helpful and kind, the manager signed my lease with my husband and I and made sure I understood everything as well as walk my apartment with us to make sure everything was perfect for move in. Every time I come in to get packages they are always smiling and asking me how I am doing. The maintenance staff is perfect! They respond quickly to any issues and stop in to change filters, and make sure there are no maintenance issues. I am ALWAYS receiving email updates for any changes to the property and any fun events coming up. I LOVE living here!! I could go on and on about how great it is here.

Sadly having to update my review. The office staff is extremely unorganized specially (Gerald- the property manger) he pushes all the work on to Brandy who is sweet however it would be more transparent if the property MANGER could relay questions when asked versus shifting all questions to other people to deflect any issues off him. This in turn created an awful ending experience and my final days a very uncomfortable environment. I recommend avoiding the hassle.

I honestly DID NOT want to move in to The Morgan in begin but my room mates insisted that this was the best option due to our time period of moving but the good thing is I am no longer staying at the Morgan due to it being over priced And having a below standard living experience for it to be luxury living it only had a small dumpster in the entire complex and the landscaping seemed to not have a lot of thought or creativity also if you do not buy a garage with your lease then you will always have the pleasure of fighting for a parking spot by your building plus the walls were paper thin it’s like I was holding a conversation with everyone on my floor and you can hear just about every washing machine or drier that runs or stops plus within the first 2 months of me living there it was a huge water leak in my building right next door from my apartment and The leak was literally pour like a waterfall from the top floor to the pavement also they’re were issues with the apartment when I moved in carpet and appliances ac/heat but the apartment I had was never lived in it smelled new but didn’t seem New the door were very heavy and they always slam on there on so you will hear everyone come and go all day everyday neighbors are loud and people will make plenty of noise through out the day and night I didn’t seem to have. Problem with the office when it came to my stay there except the fact they would always forget things unless it was a fee or charge being billed to you but other than these thing my time there was lovely but still would not recommend anybody staying there due to the price and issues

If I could give a 0 star review I would!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! This place is horrendous! When we lived there at first it was okay, but it kept getting worse. Our neighbors smoked weed and it always smelled, and they were always loud and banging on the walls, my other neighbor was always so rude that I had to avoid her to have a good day. But my one building that I lived in the trash would always over flow outside and instead of having maintenance empty the trash can more often they decided to take the trash can away all together, so childish!!! I couldn’t believe a company could behave in such a way.I moved out as of July 1st and now it’s October 31st ... I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK!!!! I have called 5 different times and no answer, I swear they know my number and know not to pick up! So now I’m leaving this bad review urging people not to stay there, and I’m going to navy legal to see how they can help. This is a horrible way to run a business, so unprofessional.

It’s expensive for what you get, there seem to be a lot of issues with things breaking and out of order. The fees add up to a lot it’s really just not worth it. The building/apt are nice but the amenities don’t compare to other places. The office staff are nice but really don’t resolve issues when they arise. Better off somewhere else.Marcus and brandy in the office, were kind. But whenever I had an issue it took forever or never got resolved. The maintenance came in as needed sometimes leaving a mess on my carpet, even left my balcony door cracked open one day. Not happy with my experience here.

I cannot express how happy I am to be moving to this place. The staff, not just in the office, but everywhere, were just incredibly nice and respectful. Danielle, at the office stayed with an hour after closing time to help me pick and fill out paperwork. Im excited to move.

What an unfortunate experience for my sister. As a tenant of five years she held up my end of the CONTRACT month after month paying her rent EARLY and timely. Sadly her encounters with staff and front desk left her feeling defeated and questioning why she renewed her lease. She left here with unforeseen Bills and constantly had issues with staff. It was upsetting as her sister to see her go through such a struggle with this place. The truth is that any place has good and bad. But in this instance spare your self and your wallet before you pick the Morgan....its more like The Lessthan, until they get new management and staff who at least try to accommodate tenants paying thousands per month for rent. Save your self.

Walls are extremely thin. I can hear conversations from Neighbors as well as hear when they open and close cabinets and the microwave. I have also recently started hearing my neighbors two floors below me through the air vent. They have updated the gym and the fun zone they have in the gym for the kids is great. I have seen a lot more good posts than bad and I feel like people should know both sides. Customer service is ok but I too put in a maintenance order for my fridge and nobody came. I had to fix it myself. Also for some reason they have yet to put our names in the box so we could let guest in. Its been 4 months now. Oh and I am currently staying searching for another place. If your thinking about staying here it would be great to ask them about the walls!!!!

My husband and I have lived at these apartments for a year now and we loved it for the first few months than management changed and things started to degrade. The walls are super thin and our new neighbors were always loud and fighting alot so we had to move our daughter out of her bedroom and into ours because the noise would wake her. Than we got another set of new neighbors across the hall who smoked weed alot and it would seep into our apartment so we had to always have candles or some air freshener going. The residents that the new management allowed to live in the apartments dropped the quality significantly. Talk about get a quick dollar allow anyone to become a resident. There was always trash outside the building and the dumpster was always over flowing.As for the management itself if you need the time and day to talk to a representative or look to see if you have packages good luck! They are never in the building when you need them to be and always out of the office. It always seems like only one person is working in there and the maintenance staff lord help these few men but you put in a trouble call you would be lucky to see them come fix something. We have had a trouble call in since January and still not looked at. We refused to renew our contract and sre glad to be rid of this place.

My buddy lives here. Awesome place, great location, just tucked away from the main street. Convient location to all the stop shops you need.

RUN!!!! I dont recommend this place to ANYONE. I have been in my apartment 2 months and I REGRET IT EVERYDAY. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL FROM THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO THE CORPORATE LEVEL. MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN THE WORST. IM SO READY TO LEAVE THIS PLACE. IM MISERABLE LIVING HERE. IF I CAN GET OUT THIS LEASE I DEFINITELY WOULD. I CANT SEE BEING HERE ANOTHER DAY I WOULD RATHER LIVE IN MY CAR!!!

Heat does not work!!! Put in a service request a month ago and they still have not fixed it. So my apartment is currently freezing as it is snowing outside. The walls are thin and there is a silverfish outbreak here. The staff is friendly but they will lie to you and tell you they will handle something and wont. I spoke with Hercules the rental company and that was the only time they ever really followed through. I was excited about moving in as they were nice through the process but now I have contacted the circuit court and have been advised to give a 30 day notice and move out because the living conditions dont meet the standards of living for VA.

Where do I even begin... We have had nothing but issues here. We were all excited to move in and everyone spoke highly of this place and after we moved in, it went downhill.. It all started with a leak in my door. That was fixed in June. But before it was fixed it took a few days and normally leaks are their priority anyway, maintenance fixed it. THEN in September the property manager called me and asked about it.. obviously, it was fixed then he told me to take my 2-star review down from their Facebook page. Why? No idea... I didnt bother asking, I was busy with my child. Then, my mailbox key stopped working all of a sudden and it took 2 weeks to get it fixed and I talked to everyone in the office about it TWICE... Then it was the people BELOW my apartment playing loud music at all hours of the night and the office didnt do anything about it until I called the cops then I messaged them on Facebook and got a different response than from what I originally got when I complained to then in person.🤷🏼‍♀️ (Not surprised at this point). I can go on and on...Its so unorganized and some people are so unprofessional, its ridiculous. I love Danielle and Gerald. They care about their tenants and really try to help them as much as they can. Now, every time I walk into the office the manager shuts his door or leaves and doesnt make eye contact or talk with me like he used to. (I wonder why)...DONT MOVE HERE.. UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCREWED OVER. Its always something with them.. I gave up.

This apartment complex will ROB YOU!!! Do not move here save your money! The ppl at the front office especially Jerod or Jerrod whatever his damn name is...is horrible...he’s inconsiderate and is not helpful to his residents...he’s all about himself and keeping his position...also the other two that works for him are total airheads and they suck too...we live in an apartment that smells like snoke everyday, it has a hole in the bathroom floor and we have told them constantly to fix it but we got nothing because they told us that our building was not too priority because it was older...then they got creative and now are using a portal instead of taking money orders which most complexes make it so you can either use one or the other...the portal messed up my fiancé’s rent for the month in which we paid on the first, we have confirmation numbers, emails, proof that it came out of his navy fed account, and he even got with one of the front office workers and she helped assist him for over an hour...then today we get a notice of non payment on our door trying to charge him an extra almost $200...we will be calling corporate on Monday because this place is Hell on earth!!! Renters beware!!!

Do not spend your hard earned money living here. The community amenities are subpar at best and the only positive feature are the new buildings. Everyone in the leasing office is incompetent. Ive lived here for two years and have dealt with a number of issues, including getting the wrong apartment during a lease transfer, being told that my apartments AC was not working on the day of my move although they knew about it for a week, I still dont have my info programmed in my buildings door, being harassed about using the garage space that I pay for because they didnt see my car there when I was out of town...the list goes on. Most recently, the employees in the leasing office knowingly allowed someone to walk out with my package and then gave me a hard time because I wanted my belongings returned to me promptly. Only after I threatened to report my items stolen did they make the effort to get my items returned to me. Ive never in my life dealt with such a lack of professionalism. These apartments are not worth the hassle you will face with the leasing office. Streets of Greenbrier is a MUCH better choice if youre looking for nice apartments and great community amenities.

I wouldnt even give it one star. I absolutely hate this place. The fire alarms go off when they arent supposed to. So you run outside and there is no emergency. People are going to stop running outside and there actually be a real fire going on and they get hurt. And all the front office can say is Im sorry. They dont fix anything. It took me 3 months just to get my check in list (from the first week when I moved in) finally fix. They have no amenities other than a small pool and small gym. No dog park. No kid park. No trees and flowers to make it look nice. Just ... Highway... Dirt...and grumpy people who want to move from here. The management is bad. They dont even know the virginia landlord laws -.- I honest to god cant wait to freaking move. I wouldnt tell anyone to move here. Absolutely zero out of 5.

Love the apartment security... nice,quiet,but pricey

I have had endless electrical issues, some of which have just been tuckd under the rug. And these are the thinest walls ive ever experienced in my life! Had a wet spot on my cieling due to “rain” and they just painted over it with the wrong color paint . The maintenance guys are really nice but dont really have a clue. I hear my neighbors get out of bed every morning as well as hear everything that they do in that bed. This is not worth it all the rent should be far cheaper.

Nosey neighbors will call the police on you for any noise they hear such as playing the game, walking, or watching TV. Oh thats how thin the walls are and not to add you can barely have any party or gathering in your own apartment without neighbors calling the police!! There arent any amenities for children and everything in the apartment breaks. And management sucks! DO NOT MOVE HERE!

The Morgan,from my first impression, seemed to be the perfect place for myself and my family. Imagine my dismay upon moving in and having to take my five year-old to get a tetnis shot, due to the negligance on the part of the maintainence workers.When I brought the issue of him scraping his knee while playing in his room, thanks to their poor installation of the carpeting, I was told that there was nothing they could do for me. I was also informed that this wreckless manner of installation was common practice.This could have been avoided if I was permitted to do a walk-through inspection of the home before moving in. Instead, we were sent photos of the apartment beforehand, which only sufficed because we trusted the management team, which were pleasant and presented themselves to be very trustworthy in the beginning of our move-in process.Unfortunately, our bad experience did not end there.I informed them of our ant problem, which persisted despite many efforts on my part. No one within the management team ever got back to me regarding resolving the problem.I wish these things were the only issues we had in our time at the Morgan, sadly that was not the case. While checking the mail one afternoon, my three-year old and I were confronted by a maintainence worker (in uniform) indulging in the use of recreational drugs (cocaine) while in his vehicle in the tenant parking lot.Luckily, I was able to shield my child from such an unsavory sight. After a much anticipated move-out, the problems persisted with the staff at the Morgan. We were also refused a move-out inspection and this resulted in a colossal amount owed. I was billed $2,000 for damages. Some of which my family and I did not do to the condo.

Better off somewhere else.moved in after a short deployment and was in-between here and another apartment complex with the same features, should have went with the other place, yes does it look nice, occasionally but the pictures are way in accurate of this place, moved into one of their new buildings, yes the inside was nice and having a big island in the kitchen is wonderful but the walls are extremely thin, you can hear a full blown conversation in the hallway and here everyones door slam closed, at night you can be laying in bed and here your upstairs neighbor vaccuming and a crying baby in the apartment next to you. all of my furniture sits on the inside walls too and still can hear everything. The grounds arent very well maintained, there is dog pee spots literally right outside of all the doors and each of the first floor apartments, people work on their vehicles and spray paint all along the sidewalk and parking spaces, owners never clean up after their animals and dog poop literally every 5 feet. Then to mention all the doors are key fob, yet for 2 months the door was broken and called multiple times said someone was on it, literally watched the repair people standing out there for an hour then just left didnt even do anything, called again and was told waiting on warranty they came out and same thing not until a repair person finally fixed it 2 months later.Calling the front office youd expect it to be fixed, took 6 weeks to get my information in the call box, still havent added my wife, been about 3 months and still no result. They do valet trash service and was given a warning for a small corona box left ontop of my trash bag, was told no boxes or if i had any to be broken down, next door neighbor has baby diaper box which is twice the size left on their trash, and guess what no warning or fine for them. honestly only nice feature this place has is they have garages, other than that its just a headache to be paying as much money to live in a luxury living and its a dump!!! If i wasnt waiting on my house to be built i wouldve moved out the day i moved in. i shouldve trusted the reviews i read on here before moving here. Also parking is a nightmare, ive had more door dings and scratches from other people . currently have a cracked windshield from their wonderful landscapers. DO NOT MOVE HERE, better off at Fenwyck Manor or Park Crescent, or even Solace, this place is a joke. Counting down the days until i give them my 2 months notice. If i could break my lease i would do it IMMEDIATELY!!!

Coming from wanting to move to this complex at the end of my current lease to being completely turned off based on the experiences of a CURRENT resident who once spoke highly of this place even walking away from an apartment that was already paid for to live at the morgan. Only to in less than a week have a leaking roof that staff at the morgan refused to fix it. Upon requesting a transfer from the damaged apartment it was APPROVED. Now that its time that the transfer take place it is suddenly being denied with no explaination other than the fact that the property manager Mick Nix feel that said resident is a problem! I have never seen such unprofessionalism. Instead of giving the resident what was promised and STILL available its being denied and is being forced to stay in a damaged apartment!! I wouldnt reccommend ANYONE live here.

Great location, nice looking apartments, well kept community

All i have to say is dont move here. 6 month has gone by and still have received my deposit back. Also here is a good tip if you live here and have dog or a cat on the lease. When you move out dont clean the carpets, i left the carpets almost brand new and since i had a dog the office said i still had to pay for carpets to be cleaned. So dont make it easier on them. I lived here for 2years and i can say all the comments below are true. Rude management,thin walls, staff on drugs and the problem i hated the most they never pick up the phone maybe after 15 calls they pick up or i just go to the office while calling them and see there employees on there cell phone ignoring the office phone did this multiple times. Overall bad place to move over priced hidden fees that they wont tell you.

Excited about moving in this week. Staff is awesome!
