I appreciate the office staff always going above and beyond to making the community a good place to live.

This was my first time leasing with the help of my parents. This apartment complex doesn’t give you a heads up on anything and they left my door wide open on one occasion i didn’t find out until later i could of gotten out my lease because of that. Very unprofessional and I’ve been paying for pest control and seen more bugs then i ever seen. Best believe i will let every single person that visits this place know that they service and communication skills does not work at all. So glad to be moving out soon

I visited this community because I needed a temporary place for my mother until the place she will be moving to is ready in a few months. DAndra, the new leasing agent was a doll. Old school (for being young) customer service. Smiles all around and very informative with what she was able to help. Walked me to my apartment and spoke cadidly of the community while we got there. (Before I got there she supplied me with all the answers to my questions and made me feel hopeful over the phone). I opened up what was a staged two bedroom. It reaked of cigarette smell, the floor was not tidy. I opened the back door to the patio it was not swept, unkept dirty. RULE NUMBER ONE: WHEN STAGING A MODEL PLEASE CLEAN IT. I thought to myself if this is their best apartment to stage then I wonder what the actual apartments look like.When we got back DAndra continued to be professional following all the steps to trying to lease an apt to me. I happened to look over to the pool, and it was green! WHY IN THE WORLD would you not make this a priority? Your leasing office is the gateway to what we are about to get into. I ignored it, sat down to wait for DAndra to come and I noticed on the corner of the the office a huge mouse trap. Thats when I decided this was a HECK NO! I get it. This is an older community. I get it. The company hasnt dropped a million dollars in reno for it. But outdated doesnt mean unclean. I only give it one star out of respect for that poor girl. She deserves it. Other than that, do better Wexford Management.

I’ve been here since January 2014 and went from a 2bdrm to a 3bdrm. I will not be renewing this current lease and had I known that my issues would not have been handled properly to protect the safety and security of my mother and toddler I would’ve left before this lease. A lot as changed and violations of the lease are not enforced other than not paying your rent I guess since I saw someone get evicted for that. I’m just so disappointed in my experience over the last year and a half and the fake threats they send out I’m just over it. I’m keeping this review minimal for now.

I moved into these apartment in August. The first disturbing incident was SWAT at 11:00 at night. Since then the apartment placed a late notice on my door and my rent is always paid before the 1st. Recently the apartment complex seems to think it is okay to renovate apartments while residents are living in them. We received countless contractors entering the apartment to check water heaters, light fixtures, faucets., etc. Sometimes we received notices and other times none. Recently windows were replaced and the contractors left nails and debris everywhere. Today I returned home from being out of town for three days and my blinds were lifted for anyone to view the contents of my apartment. Apartenly they came to repair damage that the window contractors did but I did not received a single email or notices about anyone entering my apartment let alone leaving my blinds up and my windows uncovered. My curtains have been removed from window and left on bed, blinds left up in bedroom and living room, room light l and ceiling fan eft on. I have no idea when these people were in my apartment becasue I have been gone out of town since Sunday morning and it is now Tuesday evening. Upon my return I had a new notice saying cabinets will be painted and we must remove all items out of them and off counters or be fine up to $150.00. I would not recommend these apartments due to the lack of respect for the tenants, the constant overflowing trash bins, and the renovation being done. Tenants should not have to live through a renovation in a space they pay rent and have to constantly move furniture and items to accommodate the apartment complex. I am upset that my privacy has been invaded and left for any and everyone to see the contents of my apartment. It is currently 6:55pm Tuesday April 27th therefore was not able to speak to anyone but left a detail message. This is unacceptable and I am totally disappointed in Morgan properties/Wexford Apartments and how disrespectful they are to the residents. I will update once I have had a chance to speak with management.Debbie Taylor

I moved to North Carolina in 2016 from another state and chose Wexford Apartment as a start because of the reviews I had read about Wexford.The staff at the office was very professional and concerns and problems were solved in a timely manner. Management changed and so did everything, the service was the worst customer service I have ever experienced and management at the leasing office never returned call. In 4 years that I lived there my rent was never late and I kept the apartment were clean so there was no reason for the treatment I got. Mike at the Leasing office is very unprofessional and if there was no stars. Wexford would definitely get it. I would not recommend there if you are looking for quality service.If you have children,definitely not the place. There is a bullet hope that went through the house from the parking lot and is still there that we had to find out on our own. Do your research first.

Lived in a 1 bedroom for 3 years, office workers were always very helpful & cordial, maintenance work/requests handled promptly. Accommodated my pets with no problems at a great rate. Worked in the service industry, routinely returned home late (3-4am), many times to find people who did not live/belong in the complex parked outside my building meeting/waiting for someone. Often times I had to personally tell them to get lost. Police presence is very low unless called. Overall, good value for your dollar, just expect late night traffic/characters who dont belong there out front of your building.

Never had an issue with the staff nor my neighbors. I recommend this apartment if you wish to save money and live relatively close to uptown/uncc. Be wary of the negative anecdotes from other reviewers--the staff are human too and the space is worth the price.

Unless youre down and out and need a last resort place to leave spare yourself the headache of staying here!!! Staff and Maintenance are extremely rude and have no professionalism.. I have never had a landlord or maintence staff speak to me how Ive been addressed while living here! You get EXACTLY what you pay for dont let the cheap rates fool you!!!!!!!

I just recently moved out of these apartments. Great for starting out, or college students. They accommodated my two large dogs with no problem, my neighbors were very quiet and respectful.Karen is a sweetheart and Juan is the best maintenance person Ive ever met. They handle all issues in a timely manner. The only reason we moved was because we were robbed while on vacation and Im a stay at home mom who no longer felt safe at home. The area has been riddled with robberies and thefts since the beginning of the year and has a bad history of crime.Appliances could use some upgrading, more security necessary! But you cant beat a 3 bed 2 bath for 850 a month! Especially for the area!!

Front office is cool and the maintenance guys are outstanding!!

IVE BEEN HERE 3YRS AND WONT BE STAYING AFTER MY LEASE IS UP. THE MOST RECENT MANAGER IS VERY NONCHALANT, CONBATIVE, AND UNEMPATHETIC. THE MAINTENANCE MAN JUAN IS RUDE.

This apartment is the worst place to stay. Management is a joke. And dont dare asking them to fix the AC

Less pricey than surrounding apartments, maintenance issues fixed immediately, and very friendly office staff.
