I’ve been living at the Maxwell for the past two and a half months. The staff is super friendly, engaging and attentive to all of my requests. They have an open-door policy, which I love! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my apartment...the amenities are gorgeous and the view is amazing. I also love that this community is extremely close to everything: supermarkets, nail salon, cleaners and restaurants are within walking distance. This is my 1st place in Charlotte and I’m so happy I chose to live here.
The pool has been close for the last few months. My daughter got locked in the room the first night here and I one was available. When they did find out it happened They ask did you use a credit card. I was told just use a credit card to get her out emergency maintenance number does not get anyone on the phone I thought I would have to call the police until I figure out how to stick the credit card in the slot .,…My trailer got stolen out of the parking lot and to top it all off there are no cameras!!!! As much money as we pay there’s no security the neighbors fight all day long are you here Stompin cussing and fussing and door slammingI thought this was luxury this is worse apartment I have ever lived in but it is the most expensiveSomeone hit my car and I had to find footage from the grocery store this is a disaster
Would give NEGATIVE stars if possible...My daughter moved here 2 weeks ago, and in that time her apartment has experienced severe flooding 3 separate times - countless messages to the after hours emergency number, and on 2 of these flooding instances the emergency call was not returned/addressed until the NEXT DAY. The problem is still not resolved, calls and emails to the management office get shuffled and put off, with promises of were looking into it and no one calls or addresses the issues. There is now property damage (both to the unit and personal items), and mildew growth, adding health concerns to the mix. Management of this complex has no sense of urgency or care to the concerns/well being of the residents.
No hot water for three days. Only after complaining extensively is management calling a plumber who is certified. I will not be renewing my lease at this apartment. Do yourself a favor and rent to a complex with hot water and with management who take the issue seriously at the beginning.
Overall a pretty place to live and I enjoy the space. However difficulty working with leasing office management. Abundance of fees to pay for disputed payments even when recommended by the office staff to do so. Very unhappy with the way things are handled in the office. Seems everyone is on difference pages.
Dont lease an apartment here! The apartments are pretty nice but it stops there. I have always had some ongoing issue after about six months of living here. The ac/heater goes out every 6 months. The maintenance staff is prompt but havent actually fixed the problem. They just patch it and move on. As with the other reviews, the management staff is terrible. They do not answer the phone and do not call you back. Quite frankly, they really do not care.My latest battle has been going on for about six months. The neighbors that I share a wall with in my bedroom are insanely loud. It starts around 11pm and ends around 2am several nights a week. Call the courtesy officer several times and they do not call back. Called the office and nothing. I have moved furniture to move away from the noise but it does not help. I spent most nights sleeping in the living room.Shortly after that started, the smell of marijuana over takes my apartment. It starts in the closet and makes it way through. It gets to the point of feeling nauseous and I have to leave. I get my daughter on Sundays and we cannot stay in the apartment because the smell is so bad. So the nights I am not sleeping on the sofa to avoid the noise, I have to leave the apartment due to the smell. Even my clothes in the closet smell. I called the office. “We will send an email.” I have yet to see this email. My apartment has basically become unlivable and they do nothing. Left messages and they do not call you back. I strongly advise everyone to look else where to live.Lastly, I hope you are ok with trash and ants in the walkways.
The remodeling they’re doing around here looks great, but that’s where it starts and ends here. The walls are unbelievably thin! Omg! Also we’ve had countless issues with our garbage disposal regurgitating to the other side of the sink and maintenance just came in, poked around for a bit, and then left without resolving the issue. Our last neighbor had a 100+ lb. dog that they would leave on the balcony for hours to bark loudly at anyone that walked by and the office did nothing about it. It only stopped when they moved out. Peace of mind was had for only a few more months and then we get new neighbors that have moved in and sound like they’re dropping dumbbell weights every night from 11p-4am. We haven’t had a peaceful night of sleep since they have moved in.
I moved in 2 months back and the move was great! I had no issues at all. The staff is great, super friendly and very helpful people. They are good at what they are doing, they have never not came and helped when I needed fixing in my apartment.
Beware! The reviews about management are absolutely true. The apartment itself is very nice, spacious, and no major maintenance issues. However the problems you put up with outside of the apartment overshadow any good review. For me, it started at move in. I was coming from out of state and made a trip to NC to tour, sign, and lock in my apartment. In the weeks nearing my move date, I called to ensure my apartment was ready. The leasing agent I spoke with, at the time, was a temp with a very nasty attitude, however she confirmed that I was all set and that my apartment was ready.I get to NC 2 days before my movers were scheduled to arrive so that I could get keys and make move in payments etc. (I drove from GA) The leasing agent (another new temp) stated she would walk through the apartment with me before I signed just to make sure everything was right. Im glad I hadnt signed before I toured the apartment one final time. We walk in the apartment only to find that IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED AT ALL from the previous tenant. Cigarette butts left everywhere, tile in the kitchen rusted and torn up, terrible carpet stains, a bad stench like cat pee and smoke filled the air, walls were smudged and brown (it was disgusting). Again, here I was dealing with a temporary leasing agent and she had absolutely no idea what to do or how to help me. I had to call my movers off, and make additional arrangements while I waited for the apartment community to call me back....which took about 2-3 days where I had no official apartment...After that fiasco was poorly rectified with little to no urgency or care to the frustration and accommodations I had to make, I lived in the apartment for about 2 months with no major issues. Next thing I know I have noisy neighbors move in upstairs. The police were called at least 6-7 times in their first 3 months of living in the apt because the whole building could hear the couple physically fighting at all hours of the night. They also have two 100lb + dogs that run around. They have absolutely no control over their children that run and stomp and play all day in their 3rd floor apartment. It is constant noise to the point where I cant even get to sleep. Banging so hard that I had décor fall from the wall. On several occasions trash was left out and it leaked from their 3rd floor all the way down to the first floor. I have dog hair, pee, and poop on my balcony AND STILL management has done nothing to intervene or provide a solution. I have sent videos, pictures, called emailed and I think I have been beyond patient but I am fed up!You are gambling with your peace of mind deciding to live in this community. You may have a nice apartment but beware there are noisy neighbors, management is hardly responsive and only cares that they receive money on time. I believe this is at least the 3rd management of this property and they have yet to turn it around. I am not happy with this community and I would not recommend any of my friends or family live here and put up with the things Ive had to endure. Its not fair and it is not right!! Dont stay here.
This place is OUTSTANDING! The workers are beyond helpful. The place itself is beautiful inside and out. The people who helped me were so genuine. I’d definitely recommend a stay here!
I felt so welcome the first time i came to see my new apartment the neighbors were nice and lastly not least the leasing manager for the apartment was so helpful and nice she made me feel so comfortable with my home, neighbors, and welcoming i believe her name was Jessika she was wonderful. I been living her for about 3 months and haven’t had no issues with nothing it’s so peaceful and quiet i love it here
The property is beautiful and clean. I cannot thank the management enough for always responding when I need assistance. They go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. I also appreciate the diversity of the community.
Very helpful and respectful staff. I love staying here, I have no problems with anything at all. Would recommend leasing here.
Me and my boyfriend moved to maxwell a few months ago and we have not had a single complaint ever since. We had been looking for an apartment that was spacious, and had a nice neighborhood and maxwell was just what we were looking for. Upon arriving we were greeted with the most friendly staff and helped to our apartment at ease, the apartment was very clean and made us feel at home, I’m glad we choose to stay here.
The workers there are super helpful and everything is clean! Any questions I had were answered. Overall a great experience and the staff was super friendly!
Very pleased with management. They are always very prompt with any issues I have in my apartment and are professional. Even with covid they are responsive and available when needed.
My experience has been wonderful. The staff has been great. They are A1!
This place has horrible management. I have lived here since January and cant wait to move out. The staff NEVER answer the phone and no one responds to emails at all. It is very difficult to get any response from an employee. My move in was scheduled on Jan 1st and when I got there the apt wasnt even ready. I had to rearrange movers, cable, etc and next week when I moved in the apt hadnt even been cleaned, painted or anything. Nothing was inspected. No inspections have been done on air filters or anything. I have been waiting for a response from management for over a week and still nothing. This place does not care about tenants only money.
I have been living here and I have had no issues at all, the staff are very nice and helpful!! I love my apartment!
KJ is the best maintenance man and fixed the problem super fast! Highly recommended!
Super friendly staff, and very attentive! The place was very clean and amazing.
The community cannot be held accountable for tenants who have no respect for others but the community can be held accountable for not enforcing policies and rules. I am awaken almost every morning by my upstairs neighbor who feels its appropriate to jump rope, run and drop weights over my head at 7am.
Not a bad place to live: apartments are generally well maintained, but be aware: 1) The office staff turnover is intense, and the level of customer service offered varies tremendously. 2) Their online payment portal sucks. Sometimes payments dont go through, or come out a week after you expect them to. 3) They increase the rent prices year over year by a higher than reasonable amount. 4) They dont have great security. When my bike was stolen from a stairwell, I learned that the cameras dont actually work.
I would rate this place a zero star. After calling to set up an appointment endlessly, I finally get someone on the phone and we set an appointment and she promised to email but never did. Later she called me back to verify my appt time and email address, but still failed to email me . Regardless, I still went to the appointment. I could not get anyone to come to the door nor answer the phone. A guy came and was going in the office, so I asked him to let them know I had an appointment. The guy came back out and told me that the lady cursed him and told him she had no appointment that day. He further told me that someone was going to be out shortly to speak with me. I waited for 15 more minutes, and no one came out nor answer the phone. Im done with this place. It just tells me how they treat their residents, so I wouldnt even want to stay here. This is my first time seen people treat a future resident that way. They have very poor customer service. I know youre going to write an apology under like your always do, but dont even try cuz nothing you say can undo the way I was badly treated.
I moved here in April, I CANT WAIT TO MOVE OUT!! The staff never answers the phone!! I’ve been here for almost 6 months and I’m still learning things that should have been explained during my move in process. I had such high expectations for when I moved here but I’m disappointed!
Loving the whole experience living here so far. Nothing but friendly staff and even some pretty cool neighbors. I also enjoy not having to take my trash out.
I have been a resident at Century Highland Creek for quite some time. While I have enjoyed a lot of my time of residency here, in the recent year it has turned bad. There is a huge increase in suspicious characters in and out of the community. I have woke up to stake outs on the property and have even had police come up to me asking if I can identity “suspect” they are looking for within the community. I have never really had a reason to call the on site courtesy officer until recently, and even then the issues are never rectified. For the last two weeks there have been large parties at the pool up to and past midnight hours. More than half the people do not even live here. Not to mention someone had a “sub” speaker yesterday evening at the pool turned up so loud they must have thought it was their own personal pool. People hang out in the parking lot sitting on residents vehicles and leave trash on their cars and in the road. This community needs more help than a courtesy officer. It truly needs to be patrolled on a constant basis to keep unwanted guest OUT! When my lease ends in January I will be gone. If not sooner!
Great experience. Only reason Im moving is because my job is on the other side of town. Very peaceful community with upgraded apartments. The gym and pool area also stay very clean. Did have slight issue with a few spiders and constant webs forming all over my patio, but that may be a con of living on the first level. Maintenance requests are always promptly taken care of.
Very nice clean apartments, manager and staff are great!
Moved into Century Highland Creek in October & love it here! The complex is kept very clean & up to date. Location is great! Hwy 485 is a block away with access to Hwy 85 & Hwy 77 only about a mile or two. Charlotte is just a very short drive on highways or side streets. Harris Teeter grocery store is walkable along with auto repair shop, Bojangles Restaurant, Hawthornes New York Pizza and Bar, Great Clips, Subway, + others. My apartment is very roomy with up to date appliances, and very nice layout!Only negative point is that parking can be scarce sometimes.Office staff Jamison, Kristine & Leslie are wonderful, and are the best staff I have ever lived under! Maintenance is also great! After 3 months here, would I move in again? Yes without hesitation!
Never answer phones or door! I have been trying to get in tougher with them for 3 months to rent. I have even emailed them and sent an inquiry from their website. They will not even look out the door if you drive an hour all the way here and knock. Keep your money for some place else.
All I’m going to say is the noise above us OMG, everything else is ok except for minor maintenance issues, I would be happy again if the noise goes down just a little at least I understand it’s an apartment but have a little respect, The staff has been outstanding,
I’m at the front of the complex right over looking the main intersection... I don’t know what kind of sound proofing they put in but it’s amazing apart from the occasional emergency vehicle I don’t hear anything from inside! My apartment is spacious and quiet. The location is perfect for a commuter like me. I’ve had no problem with noisy neighbors! If I had to complain about anything it would be that a few lot lights by my building are out but they’ve already fix one and it appears like they are trying to fix the others .
Honestly, I had such a great experience working with the leasing office. I was in an urgent situation and needed to find a new place to live immediately. The staff here at Century Highland Creek were so helpful and timely. They walked me through everything, answered all my questions and I was able to move in within a couple of days. The location is great, I am a student at UNCC and work in Harrisburg and its about a 10 minute drive to both. There are plenty of food options and shopping areas around. The apartment itself is really nice. Im renting out a three bedroom/two bathroom unit and I love it so far. I am so grateful for this place and the staff that helped me!
I’ve had a great experience here at Century @ Highland Creek. Maintenance, trash valet, and customer service from staff has been incredible. They were amazing with my transition back in September and I have been completely satisfied living here. It’s been incredibly quiet and safe. I’m grateful to be here!
Living here currently and not happy at all with this complex. Loud neighbors and loud pool area that plays music up until 2-3am. When you try to call for security, you have to leave a message and no one EVER returns your calls. Not to mention spiderwebs everywhere. They will probably respond to this review with a generic answer but seriously doubt anything will actually change. Please reconsider before signing a lease.
Living at Century Highland Creek has been a very pleasant experience so far! Three staff is so friendly and professional. The amenities are always kept up and looking good.
We have lived here 3+ years. It has been a great experience since Nicole, Ashley and Trevor are in place. This is a diverse neighborhood with many very nice residents. Unlike a review where the lady complained about space, why the heck did she move in in the first place, your issue is created by the resident. This is a great location with awesome amenities and thoughtful management.
I absolutely love this community! It is very clean and well maintained. The best part is the office staff. Eric and Ashlee are wonderful! They always make residents feel welcomed and at home. This is truly a great place to call home!
If you’re looking for a great community that is close to shopping and had a variety of food options, then Century Highland Creek is for you. I’ve lived in homes for most of my adult life, but opted to live in an apartment after relocating for work. From the time I walked through the doors to inquire about pricing, up until my move, this staff have been exceptionally professional, more than accommodating and will bend over backwards to assist residents. I work in the corporate sector and would be proud to be represented by the office staff here at Century Highland Creek. They are attentive and are don’t rush you out of the office if you need anything. Anyone is welcome to message me regarding my experience here, if you’re looking to cut through the “noise”. I can not recommend this community and it’s gorgeous and quiet layout enough.
I just moved in three days ago and no complaints yet but I will keep yall posted.Update: This is a nice community overall but there is no community activities for the residence here. The plumbing in my building is horrible. Also, I have seen roaches and spiders but I pay for pest control.
I absolutely love living here! From my experiences, all of the staff have always been extremely nice and very helpful. For the most part, the community is very quiet where I live. I havent experienced any issues and I would definitely recommend this place to others.
I moved out of my apartment November 13, 2019. It is now January 22, 2020 and I have yet to receive my security deposit refund. I have called, spoke to several workers, left several messages and still haven’t received anything. I will be contacting the better business bureau because this is absolutely ridiculous.
I have been trying to get in touch with some one for weeks about leasing or get some information. No one seems to want to answer the phone, text or voice mail maybe this is a sign that they have bad customer service.
Century Highland Creek is a great place to live and work! Lauren is a wonderful, passionate and dedicated community manager, and so is the rest of the office staff (Seka and Antonio)!
I have been living here for a year now. Dont get me wrong I love the location. However only disagreement I dont like is the neighbors I have. I hate the fact that I have to have permission to do whatever I want in my own apartment when I pay the same amount of rent as they do. I typically dont pay her any mind because she dont pay NONE OF MY BILLS. The staff here is okay. Most of the time they are nice. The guy that works in the leasing office one day took the time out to help me find a lost package that later on appeared somewhere else. Even tho he did not find the package, it was the time and patience he took to help me with what I needed. As for the apartment. I feel like its a little bit to over priced. Especially when the rooms dont have lights in them & the gym is awful. Would I move here again. No but my living experience wasnt as bad. But if you want a place that your staff members care this place would be ideal for you.
I can’t say enough about the entire staff here. They have been beyond amazing. You won’t ever find the perfect apartment complex but my goodness - I’m pretty sure this one comes pretty close. The location, the price, the staff - if I ever have to leave Charlotte...I’ll be upset I just can’t take all of this with me!
I have been in the process of renewing my lease for weeks. I have asked for a phone call for the same amount of time to discuss the renewal and additional concerns I have about continuing to stay. How many phone calls have I received 0. I have lived at this property for nearly two years - this would be my second renewal.
LOVE this community! Since the new management has taken over, the complex has really turned around for me. Monthly resident events are the highlights and the office team is fantastic. Maintenance always gets my requests done on time and the apartment interiors look awesome. Theres even a lake on the property that has a trail around it! Definitely recommend Century Highland Creek.
Love this Community! Office staff is always quick to respond to take care of anything I need. I always feel welcomed every time I am in the office :)
See my detailed reply..Its making me type more even though my last messages was close to 1500 characters. I hope this is enough.
I stayed here for 3 years, all I can say is it was good just for the 1st year before the current management moved in. It has gone downhill after that. I recently moved out and the management never communicated to me about my dues neither via email or phone or even post. We even left our forwarding address with them but after 2 months I receive a communication from a collection company after 2 months of moving out that I have some dues. On approaching them they were neither able to locate any communication that they sent😞. Apart from the pathetic service this apartment has minimal security, often you’ll find weed smokers around who do not belong to the community. In short, think before you rent.
Good parking, convenient location to 485/77/85, friendly staff members, pet friendly, close to great shopping and restaurants, friendly neighbors.
We recently moved here and have had no issues with the transition. Please note that my review may not be the most accurate or helpful as I am quite new. I just want to share my experience thus far.STAFF & SERVICE - From my initial inquiry to move-in and even now, the line of communication has been exceptional. The ladies in the office are friendly and approachable. Thank God! Theyve always been prompt in responding to my emails and do return calls in a reasonable time, which I really appreciate.APARTMENT UNIT & SERVICE - As for the apartment, its a bit small but the square footage was already disclosed to me before I signed the contract. The unit was clean for the most part (I usually do my own cleaning prior to moving in anyway so the little things didnt bother me much). The only issue was the bath tub, which was clogged and did not drain properly. The issue was easily resolved with some cleaning products. In regards to trash pick-up, we havent had any issues. We were informed trash pick-ups run Monday through Thursday, and since we moved in, every time we put the trash out, the trash is gone by the time we retrieve the trash can. However, the trash service isnt a necessity especially with the dumpster being across the street from us and we dont mind taking out our own trash to save $25 per month. As for the little critters and snakes...Im NOT a fan of them but I did my research into the community (read several reviews) before I inquired about any vacant units. Unlike some of the reviewers here, I wasnt caught off guard. Besides, I went to law school in Florida so Im used to having critters running around - not that its acceptable here- its just not a big issue for me (at the moment anyway). But there is a snake near the pond and I really hope it doesnt get inside our apartment. (I havent had time to check out the gym or pool yet. Will update later.)PARKING - The parking lot is well lit with plenty of parking spots and none are assigned.RESIDENTS - The building we live in seems to be occupied by families. To be honest, Id rather live in a family-oriented community than one occupied by college students. Ive also seen some elderly residents as well young adults (mid 30s). One of the elderly residents I talked to said she just renewed her lease. That was a good sign. For the most part, its pretty quiet, peaceful and clean. We have seen some unsupervised teenagers walking around late at night. So long as its not habitual or accompanied by vandalism or disruption, it wont be an issue. Having security patrol the area wouldnt hurt. Just a suggestion for management if there isnt already security for the community.LOCATION - This was the primary reason we ultimately decided to live here - for convenience. Its right off of 485 and there are plenty of near by stores and restaurants.Again, this review may be premature and therefore, subject to change. I will provide an update at a later time.
This is the worse place to live I have been Complaining About the same thing for months .They charge us $25 extra per month for Valet garbage pick up,And no one Never comes To pick up our garbage. Every time I call they promised that they Will resolve the situation, The company will pick up our garbage for one night but the next night they wont show up they are not consistent with picking up the garbage every day .If this was a white neighborhood Im sure we would not be having this problem .
I thought that it would be a good idea to tour this property today, as I am looking for a new place to call home and this property is close to my job.About 9:15am this morning, I walked in to the leasing office, I was greeted by Kecha, a temp that was working in the front office. I didnt know until later that there was also a lady working in the outside office with her door shut. She never introduced her, so I dont know her name. When I walked in, Kecha was on the phone with a resident and asked me to have a seat. She was very nice. Once my turn came, she introduced herself, asked me what I was looking for and explained the property. She also explained that she was a temp and may not know all the answers, but could ask the other lady (behind the closed door).I had a question about any discounts applied to preferred employers. Kecha didnt know so she asked the lady (behind the closed door). Instead of the lady getting up to come out and introduce herself, or even inviting me in her office, she yelled the answer out to me from her office. I never saw her face. Omg how unprofessional! I was already turned off, but I didnt say anything. There was another gentleman that had come in to inquire about a unit. He was also surprised to hear someone yell from her office out into the clubhouse instead of just coming out. He said, wow! I just smh!Kecha and I were about to leave for the tour when I turned around and invited the gentleman to go with us because he was just standing there. The lady (behind the closed door) didnt come out to help him. He had been standing there for about 15 mins. Kecha said that she would help him when she came back from touring with me. The lady ( behind the closed door) never came out her office. I felt awful to leave him standing there so I invited him to go with us.Ok so we all go on tour, Kecha was great with explaining the property. The model was beautiful! Once we got back to the office, the lady ( behind the closed door) had come out her office and was now in an office inside the front office. We still could not see her. Smh!Kesha had to ask her another question about the availability of units. Here we go again! She YELLED, but this time it just seemed louder than the first. She seemed frustrated that Kecha had questions. She kept telling her, its right there on your screen, if you look! She was very condescending and her tone was terrible. She was very unprofessional. I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with her. This will not be my new home! I love the property, but I could not imagine dealing with her arrogance. God forbid I have an issue with something in the apartment. No thanks! Im sure the other gentleman did not rent either. First impressions are very important.
This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in US. If you are a snake lover, this is the right apartment. Someone mention about the break ins... thats 200% true... The funniest part in the response from the owner is that, we have to share it with the office staff... really!!!!!???... :).. If you want to talk to the office staff, either you should have lot of patience else you need a lawyer with you all the time. I think they not even know the word polite... Better stay away from this apartment...
Ummm lets see where do I start...Well I can honestly say I HATE THIS APARTMENT & I CANT WAIT TO MOVE!!!! 1st off its frogs EVERYWHERE their very small so they can easily just hop in your place (which one has) also lizards. The pond smells horrible.. The neighbors are rude & let their kids make all types of noises @ anytime!! Its spiders every where in the aprternents!THE WORSE OF IT ALL IS THE SNAKES!!!!!!!!Its this one big snake that lives at the end of building 4929 in this black drainage pipe. The snake recently just had babies and one of the SNAKES GOT INTO MY APARTMENT!!!!I WOULD NEVER in my entire soul recommend ANYONE to live here especially if you have children this place is INVESTED with all kinds of snakes!! +
WORSE PLACE EVER TOO STAY .!! Very Disappointed, I Could Of Invested My Money Some Place Else .!!!!!!!
Well. We were rented an apartment from a leasing consultant who said it was a smoke-free community. He sold it to us this way after we shared our story of how we just had moved out of an apartment due to cigarette smoke.Next thing, a smoker lives on the other side of the wall and her cigarettes come thru the wall, filling up our apartment. Day 50+ now, and management has done nothing to resolve it but says if we leave, we are breaking the lease and they will charge us. Warranty of habitability requires a landlord to keep an apartment habitable for tenants. Management only avoided the problem and never sought to resolve the issue with our neighbor or fix our problem of cigarette smoke in our apartment. Not to mention, my wife has asthma and we have a newborn.Save yourself time and effort moving and find another place to live. Management is NOT out for your good here.
Right off the bat, our Car has been broken into 4 times even with new video surveillance. People consistently blast music at all times of the night and I do not feel safe here at all. There is a resource officer that the apartment says will deal with any break ins, violence, noise, etc... however he has never once answered the phone, or even bothered calling back after leaving a voicemail. Most of the maintenance staff is rude, with a few exceptions. I absolutely 100% hate living here and cannot wait to move. I would not reccommend this living arrangement to anyone.
REPLACE THE WEIGHTS IN THE WEIGHT ROOM! I reported them stolen like 6 months ago and was told they were “on order” to be replaced. Stop making excuses it is not a very promising message to your residents that look forward to using the gym but half the weights are missing.
Terrible Office management. Have been here 6 months and we have an “ unfixable” banging from a pipe in the wall. They refuse to let us out of the lease even though it is their apartment with the problem. Other neighbors have confirmed our story to them and they still do nothing. It seems the only thing that will make them understand where we are coming from is to bang on their bedroom wall while they try to sleep. Why make this a complicated matter where I have to hire an attorney to handle this when it’s as simple as it being the apartments fault. Awful place to live from car break ins every night, to them having to shut the pool down for a couple weeks because of neighbors getting out of control. They have problems on their hands and refuse to do anything about cleaning them off.
This is the worst apartment I ever stayed, just stay out of this community. I can’t able to give zero star! I had a problem with the people who are above my house that includes spilling the coffee at my balcony and throwing cigarette puffs from their balcony without using the ash tray! I complained to leasing office staffs they are not responding to my issues. Just stay out of this community !!!
No don’t sign the lease! This place has went downhill fast. Multiple car break ins, apartment break ins, trash valet rarely picks up trash, live sex tape recordings at the playground (sex tapes have surfaced and brought to my attention by friends who have visited my apartment and saw the videos on WorldStar, so EMBARASSING), teens having sex in the car, shootings, noisy, no parks, dogs off leashes, poo everywhere, and random people/ teens loitering and smoking weed outside during all times of the day and night (management knows teens cut school to come hang out here). Management does nothing. Save your money and move somewhere else. I would rate this place NO stars if I could because it is not worth it. Don’t do it!
If you like listening to loud rap music all day and night and love getting your car broken into this is the place for you. It is not a safe environment.
What I like was how well the property is maintained . What I dislike is the new owners policy and chaos with the office employees . I was promised things before it was sold and the new owner refuse to honor nor care what was previously promised . I will not renew with the new owner/ mgmt and would advise the smart residence to run and not look back .THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE RESIDENTS who pays on time and have lived here when first built .😡😡
Overall a good place to live.
HORRIBLE. Sat down with the staff, didnt really like the girls in the office but we still decided to tour it because of the prices and options. We came back a second time to finalize some things and talk about the security issues they were having (which was a strike), and found out (AFTER WE CLARIFIED WITH ANOTHER WORKER) that my dog - A DALMATION- was in the breed restriction list along with 40+ other breeds. Which is bs because its a service dog. That was strike two to say the least, and I cannot believe they fooled us into it.
So far it has been a bad experience at this place..., applied about a month ago, paid the fees, did everything they asked for...honestly i got to say the waiting is getting ridiculous..this is the longest i have ever waited to get an answer back at any apartment! and it seems like i have to keep calling and driving all the way to their office and i still dont get a response..its always something different, they tell me we will call you later on today, you will hear back from us by certain day..still i get no call... not to mention they almost never answer the phone..not sure if this is a sign that i should just ask for my money back and apply somewere else..this has never been a problem before at any apartment i Have moved to in the past, i have never had any evictions, and i pay my rent on time... my lease is up this month and i still dont know if im getting the apartment..i dont understand what the problem is.
I love Highland Creek! Plenty of space in my apartment!
Will explain revised review at a later date. Several issues resolved.
