The apartments are so close to everything and quiet! Im happy the company brought on the new property manager too. She actually cares about the people who live here and has helped alot of us tremendously. I look forward to seeing how the community grows!

Sharon Oaks complex is quiet and close to all expressways. The old property manager and now the new property manager have been exceptional. Meg is very helpful and always willing to help anyway she can.

Love this community. It doesnt have a lot of amenities but this is more of a reflection on the location rather than owners/management. You get to be 9 minutes from uptown Charlotte, 9 minutes from Plaza Midwood, etc. I dont have to pay the $3000 city prices for a nice city area.The new manager Meg that they have in the office is really super nice. She is both compassionate and upholds the lease rules; which is something Im looking for in a manager. I dont want people running a muck in my neighborhood. Other residents who dont like her are doing so because theyve never followed the rules and now she holds people accountable.I would recommend some pet stations with some doggie bags. Lots and lots of residents walk their pets and dont pick up after them. When I approach them to ask in a neighborly way to help out in this way Im almost always met with an aggressive mind your business attitude. I dont know how the manager can deal with that portion of it but bags and stations would help.

We’ve been here for one year. Pleasant experience! We’ve never had any major issues with maintenance. Office staff is friendly. Belinda has been very professional, friendly, and courteous. There were lots of improvements made to the exterior (balconies were renovated, sidewalks redone, parking lots repaved, old mailboxes replaced, doors and patios painted, pressure washing, trash area was re-done, roofs replaced, etc)The whole renovation process was annoying, but the outcome was really nice.I would have liked to see more email communication vs. notes in the door. Also, events in the apartment community. It would be nice to have a play area for the children.Overall, I feel like the price is very reasonable when you factor in the proximity to Uptown. It’s nice to be near the bus line, makes it easy for me to commute to work.Parking can be a real nightmare, and there aren’t enough visitor spaces. The tow company DOES NOT PLAY, so make sure your tags don’t expire, and you are parked in a visitor spot if you don’t have a sticker.

Wow if I COULD GIVE 1 MILLION STARS I WOULD. MRS. BELINDA MADE MY VISIT SEEM AS IF I WERE IN PARADISE LOOKING FOR A PLACE. NOT ONCE BUT TWICE!! SHE WAS VERY POLITE, INFORMATIVE, AND CARING. SHE WAS AMAZING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SHARON OAKS FOR YOUR FAMILY TO LIVE!!

Great place to live just renewed my lease will be living here another year. Ms. Belinda is very nice she always takes care of all my work orders fast never have to wait long. Play area would be nice but other then that I’m happy with my 2bedroom apartment.

I have been here for over a year and I enjoy the Community. Its accessible to the Expressway and Belinda manages the Property extremely well. I would definitely recommend to a Family Member and Friends

I been here for two years now, and no complaints! Its quiet, the office manager Belinda and the staff is very nice .Im Close to my kids schools. I wish it was a play area for the kids to play though, but other than that its been great !

Absolutely no complaints Belinda is the best She is very helpful, informative and always on her job to make sure what u need u have to feel even more at home. Definitely would recommend Sharon oaks for you and your family to call home.

I have never had such inconsistency from an apartment complex. I have been told so many different “stories” and they change them every single day. I will never be a resident here again. Never. Ever. Rent. From. Here. They will screw you over every chance they get.

I have lived here for two years. Ivory is the landlord now and she is great. Very easy to talk to. Havent ever really had any problems. The deadbolt on the front door would do something weird but maintenance would always fix it as soon as an issue arose. Apartments arent bad, very good price for location. Occasionally have bugs but thats anywhere you go. Neighborhood is pretty quiet. Would definitely recommend.

I HAVE BEEN LIVING HERE IN A 2BR FOR ABOUT 10 MONTHS NOW. FRESH CARPET AND NICE FUX HARDWOOD FLOORING. I MOVED FROM OUT OF STATE AND IVORY MADE THE PROCESS SUPER EASY. I ENJOY LIVING HERE IT IS QUIET MAJORITY OF THE TIME BUT THERE ARE OCCASIONAL ARGUMENTS AND FIGHTS. MY NEIGHBOR HAS COME TO ME TWICE ABOUT SOMEONES CAR BEING BROKEN INTO AND TAGS BEING STOLEN. I DONT HAVE VERY HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR APARTMENT COMPLEXES SO I GUESS IM EASY TO PLEASE BUT I THINK THAT THE PRICE IS FAIR. W/D HOOKUP, BALCONY, WATER INCL,ALL ELECTRIC UNIT, DISHWASHER, ETC MANAGEMENT IS GOOD ABOUT CONTACTING VIA EMAIL WHEN THE OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED, PROPERTY ISSUES, OR WHEN THEY WILL BE ENTERING YOUR UNIT. THINGS ARE FIXED PRETTY QUICKLY. 15 MIN FROM UPTOWN SO NOT A BAD COMMUTE AT ALL THERES JUST NOT MUCH ACTION OVER HERE. I WOULD JUST SAY THAT SOME BUILDINGS ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS AND YOU CAN TELL.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Sharon Oaks. The office staff is friendly and works hard to help everyone that the can. I highly recommend this complex. Rents are still decent and is very close to uptown.I read a review by John Morgan and can say that its absolutely not true. He lived in our building and was always causing many of the neighbors grief, egging doors, and damaging other peoples property. Im glad that management got rid of him.

Management allowed a convict with 32 felony charges move into our building, when it was brought to his attention he told us it was non of my business however, its part of the lease that no felonies to live there. 6 units were broken into and nothing done even with the police finding stolen property inside her apartment. the manager (Courtney) went to the extreme of evicting all of the units that would complain to him about the goings on involving the lady that was doing these things and allowed her to stay well after her lease was upthis was a gross endangerment of the safety of all of those in the communitythe office is hardly ever open when it is supposed to be and when they are there no one ever answers the phone or returns calls when a message is leftwhen my AC was out over the summer i was told they would fix it when ever they could get to it but i would be 2 weeks this was during the heat wave of 2015

Making it do what it do baby,new management company which is unfair and was a pain to live there, whenever something wasnt working you had to wait on them and more than often it didnt get fix, you were told its not in the budget, carpet is clean when you first move in about two weeks later you see stains that wont come out, wanted to charge me for new carpet said it wasnt in the budget, refrigerator died wanted to give me one from another building that was closed from a fire and wanted to charge me for them cleaning up the refrigerator.. when I first moved there Maria was the manager after she left the complex went down the parking lot flooded out Everytime it rains.

Horrible customer service. THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONEI have been calling for days and when I get through there is no help. I called the officer manager and spoke to him. never got a call back from the MANAGER. I even called him hours later to make sure he didnt forget to call me back and I got an attitude that night and the MANAGER never called me back. You cant get approved unless the manager is there and no one knows when he is ever going to be in so until hes in you cant do anything. Pam at the front desk never returned my call either when she promised. I went up there called and watched her at her desk not pick up the phone when I called. Just completely horrible employees. I was trying to move in and give my business but because they are so awful they are not getting anything from me.

Ive never encountered a leasing agent who discloses your lease with someone who isnt on it, let alone someone you dont even know. Ivory is HORRIBLE. I had to record her and others to prove the type of person they have managing their property. When you move in you have a check list to fill out. There is NO REASON you should be questioned about what you find wrong if your just barley moving in. Dont have visitors if the parking lot is full, the car will get towed. Lets not talk about the mold, the old appliances that falls apart, or better yet their own maintenance man letting you know that nothing is updated. Fried microwave made the power in the kitchen go out. You want to charge 900 plus for a place thats not even kept up properly. They are liars and worry more about money than anything. The neighborhood itself is quiet and everyone stays to themselves, once you get to knoe them theyll let you know what your up for. Beware

These apartments are the worse, they are old and unfit for anyone to live in. Why? Because the inside of 75% of those apartments have mold and mildew in them, which is a health risk for human beans. I know this because I have spoke wiith my fellow neighbors who also has advised me that their apartment has mold issues as well. Management is well aware of this problem however have come up with no solution but to send maintenance out to clean it but is pointless because it always grows right back. Because the mold and mildew is in the walls, in the vents, around all the window seals and under the carpet. The mold was so bad it started growing on our clothes, shoes and furniture smh Just disgusting. My kids were constantly getting sick, having to get breathing treatments every other week. If I could upload pictures of these conditions I would to show proof. If it were not for the horrid conditions of the apartment the community is descent, and the maintenance man is very nice and made our stay a lol better. BUT please be warned Sharon Oaks Apartments is an extreme health risk, I would avoid living there at all cost they are the worst apartments Ive ever lived in.

I wish I could give this negative stars! The most horrific renting experience I have ever had to deal with! Courtenay Burke was by far the worst landlord I have ever had the missfortune of renting from. He never once tried to help with one of our neighbors harassing and stealing from us and even death threats. Maintence on our unit that was promised to be fixed on the day we moved in was never touched the entire time we lived there and still is untouched the day we moved out! Matintence is a total joke! I dont recommend anyone that dosnt want to spend there life living in fear at this complex. Honestly I would tell anyone looking for a new apartment to stay far away from this place!
