Great apartment! The associates there are extremely friendly and super helpful! Because my family were in a rush, I had to call them every hour when my family and I are planning on moving to their apartment. They were very patient and kind. They are truly committed to serving and helping the community!

The office staff are wonderful and Rashena McKay has been a real big help to me as I was transitioning jobs. The staff are really about helping people and if anything goes wrong in your apartment they have the fastest response time I ever seen.

Anna was nice attentive and communicated so well I did not end up getting the apartment due to family emergencies but the apartments where nice and had a community feel too them most of the property was gated off formally and being from charlotte I thinks it’s a great area to stay in the citySometimes I would look for apartment and the leasing agents had attitudes or were fast talkers but Anna was so nice in the short time I had with her I kind of felt bad I did not choose to get the apartment after I was approved but I encourage people to take a look at them and you will see what I mean

The process to get the apartment was quick, easy & effortless which I’m forever grateful for!Ana is the best she always takes time to help me whenever I need it.I appreciate everyone at Arcadian, very friendly & understanding!

Ms Cynthia is sooooo patient I had soooo many questions upon moving in.And Jerrick is the bomb . com for being clear about charges . Very upfront people in the office and a clean quiet area to live in !!!

Any time I have questions or run into any issues, I call and get Anna, she makes the problem go away.

I have lived here for almost 2 years. Tiffany from the office is very respectful & treats everyone the same & has been that way from day one!! She is also very professional & has great customer service skills!! The bad thing is she no longer works in the office!! We will miss her dearly!!! I hope they can find someone as wonderful as her!!! Emptying out all cabinets in the kitchen & restrooms every 3 months for mandatory bug inspection drives me nuts!!! Especially when it takes a whole day to empty my cabinets & clean all bars & they come in & spray in 2 corners & leave!! All that hard work for nothing!! Where is our personal privacy?? Besides that the neighborhood is pretty peaceful!!

Maintenance always responded promptly to my apartment issues.

Nothing but positive except I think there should be a security camera at the mail box 24/7. I was held a gun point about 6 months ago and Im not comfortable getting my mail after dark because of that.

A worst apartment to live in and the rental price is skyrocketing. The water flow is as slow as a newborn’s pee.

The apartments look nice, the neighborhood has certainly changed incredibly! Maria was incredible in answering all my questions that I had about the unit that was available. The only thing is that they did not have a unit to show for what I wanted to move in to. She did show pictures and tried to explain all the differences between the model that they have to show and the unit that I wanted. Certainly looking forward to my move !

EVERY THINH IS JUST FINE

The apartments are well kept outside and older inside but the maintenance is very quick. I appreciate having a clean apartment. The rent is really good for the Charlotte area. We are less than 1 minute from Independence and about 10-15 minutes from center city on the weekend. You do have to clean out your cabinets every 3 months for a bug spray which is annoying, but I havent seen bugs other than the random spider.

I lived here before for 1 year and I couldn’t wait til the year was up because it was so many roaches . No matter how many times they sprayed it was still roaches ! The maintenance people love to snoop around your house when they think your not home, then when you catch them it’s a “oh I’m just checking on things to make sure it’s alright “ . Avoid this place at all cost unless you like living with roaches and doing pest control every 3 months ! It’s not worth the hassle at all honestly !

Save yourself the time and look elsewhere. First off, the price Im paying is NOT what was originally quoted verbally to me. The apartments themselves are old, and bugs are present. The so-called upgrades are done poorly. The laundry facility refill machine has been out of service for over a week, yet the office has no workaround plan to accommodate the residents here. In fact, every time I ask the office a question, they have no answer other than Were sorry! I definitely will not be renewing my lease when it runs out.

I stayed 2 years. one of the cheap and best Apartment in the city. Many things are upgrading and trying to make better for their residences.

Ive been living here for approx. 6 months now. Tiffany in the office is very cheerful and makes you feel very much welcomed. Maintenance requests are very responsive. Jose is very helpful goes above and beyond awesome guy, so far so good.

I called and made an appointment to view a one bedroom model with Tiffany. TIffany was kind, compassionate and her personality was the icing on the cake.I felt at home immediately. Rent is cheap, apartments are clean and neighborhood is good.

Dont waste your time and money to Arcadian Apt. Youll never get back your deposit. Their were hungry for the money.

Surprised by so many negative comments. Ive placed 1 maintenance issue and it was done by the time I came home from work. NOT luxury apts by far (older complex) but not bad considering age and price. Very well/consistently landscaped and quiet!CONS:No W/D connection in 2br unitsLots of Water bugs (exterior)

I lived here almost a year ago and the day I moved in there were roaches already in the apartment, so I they came and sprayed but the bugs never go away and they come to spray every 3 months. A lot of their apartments have a bed bug problem. I would not recommend staying here. Yes the price is nice but the constant bugs inside and outside is very disgusting.

So, Ive been here since February, and decided to break my lease, reasons being, I stay next to a racist person whom the office has NOT dealt with after coming to them a FEW times about him, bugs, and I think I was over it after seeing the laundry room for the first time, TERRIBLE ! lol, all and all, the main reason is to be closer to ALL 3 of my jobs..my experience here wasnt really bad, but this is more so for people who really need a place to stay and dont care where they live, cause they accept almost EVERYBODY, lol, alot of us have moved out and are moving out, so Id just say keep your options open, but if you think this place is for you, GO FOR IT.

I lived here with my parents for 4 years. Theres always roaches no matter how many times they come and exterminate. Their manager wants to be a creep and check every car every morning! I left and got married and I came back to take over the lease for my parents because they got a real home and they were not willing to make any type of arrangements, they rather do what best fits them. I asked them for things that absolutely made since, to just take my parents off the lease and keep my husband and I on, I WOULD PAY THE RENT! But they want to squeeze every penny out of you so they wanted my parents to pay every month left (which was only one month) and keep the deposit after I told them I WOULD PAY. They have some sneaky type of regulations when you sign so be very careful. You could be living there for 40 years and they dont care, theyll still try to take all your money. Some people in the leasing office care, others dont. But honestly its mainly their manager (which you NEVER meet unless shes creeping around) and the ignorant regulations and ways of stealing your money that make this place a TERRIBLE place to live. They will not work with you in any way!

A good area, well maintained, good maint, helpful office staff, very responsive, quiet, feel safe. New staff is great, always friendly and have a positive attitude.

I toured the property and it looked really nice and quiet. Office staff were ready to help, I loved that they all said Hello and Goodbye Great Customer Service.

Where should I start? ....First week into the apartment I noticed ants all over the bathroom and around the toilet. I made no big deal about it till I began to see roaches or what they like to call “water bugs.” Then from the roaches I began to see hairy brown spiders. They told me it was from my door being open (which I’ve never kept open.)Then I was notified they have to spray your apartment every 3 months and clean out your cabinets which does nothing but leave little dead bugs around.One month in I was told I couldn’t have a second car because, it was only one person on my lease. They towed my car even though I told them that was my car. Still to this day I was never notified about where my car was towed to.Second month in, paid rent with a money order and got a call on June 23rd, 2018 that they have no recieved my June rent. Called money gram and was told my money order was cashed and the office denies having anything to do with it. I was told no cameras are by the “Rent drop box.” Got a photocopy of who cashed my money order and it was clearly the office. Still received notices on my door that I owed June rent.Third month in, I was napping with my daughter and wake up to a man in my doorway of my room. I was told it was maintenance but, wasn’t notified anyone would be there!Office people are rude and Arcadian Village gave me the worst living experience I’ve ever had. There nice till you sign your lease then treat you terribly.

You call for fix something in the apartmens and they coming when they wants . The mánager and the staff are a disaster. They dont really care about the clients. For me I fire alls.

The manager is such a crepe always checking who comes in and out of the property... they even go as far as entering your home when youre not there just to make sure everything is in the up and up. Dont trust these people!

If there was 0 star option, I would have given that.WATER CUT OFF WITHOUT ANY NOTIFIACATION. So, you need check the water or fill the bucket before using bathroom or shower.Too many roaches.Maintainance is quick, however there is one guy who is lazy and is always in phone.

Unless your only option aside from living here is living on the streets - do not move here.the price is low and the apartments are “decent” for the area and cost.everything about my experience was an absolute disaster.. I chose to pay almost $2000 to move out early.the day we walked into the office to sign our lease the apartment said there was a “minor issue” that our unit had a ROACH infestation and only offered for us to have $25 taken off rent for that month, and we would have to wait two weeks before they could come exterminate - asking us to put nothing in our cabinets. we made them find a new unit asap and had to settle for a less renovated unit as we did not want to live with roaches .... which we did anyways. constantly finding them and having to kill them was just the icing on the cake. i’ve also been witness to rats roaming the units on several different occasions.the maintenance staff took their time coming to help with any requests we put in. our AC went out during the middle of the summer and they took a week to come after multiple calls and complaints. we called once very shortly after move in saying we felt our carpet was extremely gross and we wanted them to clean it and she replied “well why would you move in if you didn’t like the carpet?” UHHHH because it was either dirty carpet or living with roaches? majority of the office staff is extremely rude and less than accommodating.NOW I gave a two month notice and paid $1700 to break my lease. I did not even stay for the two month notice. Somehow my electric bill went from an average of $80 a month to $300!!!!!! when we were not even occupying the unit anymore. I called and reported this problem as soon as we received our bill. 5 days later they looked at our unit and concluded it was broken and needed replacement. CLEARLY this should be the apartments responsibility and they should compensate us for this in some fashion. we have gotten nothing but excuses from 1. “just because we replaced the unit does not mean it was broken” 2. “there is no proof you weren’t living there” - stay tuned for this explanation soon. 3. “we didn’t report it in a timely manner so they aren’t responsible”. even after a month of reporting our next bill was even higher!!!recently we had a snow week and TWO of my neighbors informed me that my back door had been wide open for a few days (maintenance failed to close and re-lock this apparently upon “fixing” our unit) - they called the office to report our door being open two times in which the office never came to check, so our neighbors had to enter and shut my doors for me. several of my neighbors knew we vacated the unit and yet corporate is stating “we could have had people staying their illegally and that is why our electric bill went through the roof”.I am now stuck paying $500 more than necessary because of their faulty unit and complete carefree attitudes about this.all of this in less than 7 months. i’m disgusted.

I feel as if i was tricked. During the application process they where all sweet and kind. The home they tour in is nothing like what you end up with they charge for every cheap renovation they have made and ROCHES AND SPIDERS are you roommate no matter how clean you keep it. I was home sick one day on my couch no real knock at the door and the maintenance guy is opening the door thank god i have a sliding door lock in addition to their lock i was pissed he says he was checking the lock because another person tried to enter the day before for maintenance but couldnt i did order any maintenance they are noise people they are always watching who and what car is at your home i cant wait to move my children out of this worst choice in a apt i have ever made ZERO STARS! Take your hard earned check elsewhere if you want a quality living environment because this by far aint it

Crazy management. Rude behavior by maria. management took extra money from me saying bla bla bla and while sending me invoice, they didnot even mention those charges amount in my invoice, what im charged for.

Please believe everything u have read from everyone else they need new management, and with a nice personality.

If you like living with cockroaches as your new roommates then by all means move in. Their pest control that they bring in every few month is crap and is only an excuse to snoop through your place. Go elsewhere. This place is the worst place I have ever lived at and should not be allowed to let people live here. They shouldnt event get one star

If youre looking for a cheap place to stay, even if its temporary, avoid Arcadian Village at all costs.The low rent is not worth the humiliation of living in poorly kept apartments with land lords that are ready to jump on your for any infraction. There are inspections that happen every few months where you are forced to turn out your cabinets in the house and let the landlord and a maintenance person walk through your house spraying for bugs - AKA looking for drugs and infringing on your privacy.One evening our electricity stopped working in the lower half of our house and it took their maintenance team 2 days to fix from the first call. Another time the outside air conditioner (and many other tenants ACs) were stolen for the copper and it took several days before they bothered to replace it. The area is rife with crime and there was shooting a few doors down the same month I moved in.Do not give these people your money. They are slum lords and do not respect you. Avoid Arcadian Village.

PLEASE AVIOD THIS PLACE! These people are so rude and sneaky. They come in your home when they think you are gone looking through your personal belongings. Not to long ago I caught one of them in my apartment going through my stuff and their reaponse was just checking to see if the water was running yet they were in MY ROOM! These people are crazy and cant be trusted and that would not be the.first time this happened. When they come to exterminate instead of spraying big spray they take that time to look through your personal belongings one day I was in my room watching television i hear my door open i go downstairs this man is all in my closet and personal belonging to make matters worst hed idnt even have the bug spray I ask whata re you doing and where is the bug spray exterminator his response oh im sorry i thought you wasnt home since then i latch up my doors so they cant come in and i watch their every move these people crazy.

All goes well, Maria helped me understand what I needed but when I saw the closet of the main bedroom I was very disappointed, this is VERY small! Maria was very kind throughout the tour.
