I’ve lived in these apartments for quite some time and I would never recommend anyone to live here. Rent has gone up extremely high to be living with roaches, my apartment was flooded with raw sewage and don’t get me started on the noise from neighbors. Maintenance tried to do quick fixes, no parking spaces especially for people while works late. There’s always a water main break. Giant rats being left by individuals in other apartmentsYup I still live here though, looking for a new place. Any suggestions I’ll take them quickly.

I really wanted to like this place but the roaches. Oh my goodness. Its disgusting. We see them all the time even though theyve sprayed. And the office wants us to believe its because of the rain but i have been at this complex for over a year and it just recently became a problem. Big ones, small ones, black and brown roaches. These are not just the waterbugs the office claims they are. Its exhausting and disappointing to pay this much for rent and deal with this. Plus the hallways are nasty....large spider webs and trash everywhere. I cannot wait for my lease to be over.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!Theyre forcing residents to pay online with the fee of $30. YES $30. NO INSIDE PAYMENTS ALLOWED.Majority of the residents are African-American making it hard for people who get paid bi-weekly to afford rent in time for the eMoney transaction.There are roaches, spiders outside and bugs in the shower. Lovely complex ruined by multiple poor management teams in a row. Poor quality dishwashers have broken 3 times in the last year and taken multiple weeks to repair every time. I have not had a working dishwasher in almost a month. Do not ask me to call your office with any concerns because weve been doing that for weeks. Every request for more information has not been answered. Rent has increased repeatedly with no increase in service or quality. Cockroaches are in my apartment almost daily even though we clean religiously.

The Madison is in process of changing over to new management. I needed a copy of my lease for a state exam. It was a struggle to obtain it a first, with all the changes. However, Shannon was able to ensure I had a copy of my lease in my hand. Thankful she was able to go above and beyond!

ROACHES and horrible maintenance. I read several reviews on this property prior to moving in and was sure to ask my leasing agent if there was any truth to all the bug claims. She assured me that the pest control that WE PAY FOR was top notch and these reviews were just exaggerations. Let me just tell you now, they were not exaggerating. I had a full size roach crawl out of my tub drain while I was showering. Every day I come home and find at least 4 baby roaches in the shower. I have tried to get pest control to come and spray and I have been told they come weekly.....I’ve never seen anyone spray and I still have bugs in my apartment (and I’m a clean person!) My air conditioning has stopped working multiple times in the 3 months I have been living here and maintenance seems to only put a temporary bandaid in the issue. I also had a laundry list of repairs that needed to be done upon moving in and only 20% of the repairs were completed and poorly done at that. I am extremely disappointed and unhappy with this property.

Im a current tenant there, as of April 2021. Since Ive moved in, theyve changed management companies and now I cant seem to get simple maintenence requests completed. Ive never been late on my rent, and has (will continue) to deal with this in a professional manner. However, I would not recommend signing a lease with these people. They expect you to pay on time but will not maintain there units. Thats not professional at all.

Thank god my lease is almost up. The only saving Grace here is that the front office staff is relatively friendly and polite. In the last month alone I’ve had water leaking in from my upstairs neighbors into my kitchen TWICE. Had to file noise complaints because of noisy neighbors TWICE.This apartment has been the worst experience I’ve ever had in an apartment complex. Especially for how much you pay for a “renovated” one bedroom. They keep plastering over the water damage in the ceilings and have yet to make any type of serious repairs. Last time they said “we have to wait until the ceiling is dry before we can repair it” and almost a full 30 days later there’s been no repair and it leaked for the second time. Run if you still can.“Contact us” they said. Still haven’t received a response anywhere besides on my google review. What a joke. 04/30/2021

New management team is sub par. Due to lack of planning and ability to get the website used to pay rent up and running, they are charging late fees for rent not paid in person before the 5th. The manager stated she sent an email approximately one week ago informing residents of this. The only email I received says that I can pay rent online. My work schedule prevents me from getting to the bank before the 5th to get a cashiers check but I will be charged a late fee when it’s their fault the website is t working?

I was told if I wasn’t approved for the apartment that my administrative fee will be returned. Well it has been well over a month and nothing has been returned. I even asked will it be returned and was told yes and still nothing. Smh ! Easy to take away but not easy to return.

I moved 2 years ago and everything was fine but when I decided to leave. They were charging me approximately $2k for leaving. The security deposit was gone but they were asking for more. Its kinda hidden fees. Make sure you know your rights; otherwise, theyll scam you. If they asked for money order, just give them debit or check under the property management not to a person.

I relocated from Ohio to Charlotte and moved to the Madison March 2021. This is by far the most disgusting apartment I have ever lived in. When I moved in the apartment was disgusting from ceiling to floor. So bad I took pics and sent it to the rental office. I found human hair all over the bathrooms and window seals. Dirty all over the kitchen and light switches on the walls. Almost like they never cleaned it from the last tenant. They office refunded me $200 back after seeing the pics. Since it has just gotten worse. ROACHES! ROACHES! ROACHES!!!! I never thought I would be paying almost $1400 a month and with pest control to be included every month to Iive with huge roaches. Please don’t waste your time. Find somewhere else to live.

I went to check these apartments hoping to be a prospective tenant; when I went into the leasing office I asked for information on their apartment homes and a possible tour, they told me that they were busy and couldn’t assist me and I told me to check out the virtual tour online like I haven’t done that before?

I love my apartment, the layout is spacious, it’s quiet, and I like my view and privacy from the balcony. The staff was fairly new when I began my process, but they were very friendly and answered most of my questions and whatever they weren’t sure about they spoke with management and got the answer. I respected their honesty and transparency in getting me the right answers instead of guessing. The entire team displayed patience and professionalism with me throughout the entire process which I appreciate because I made a lot of calls and had a lot of questions... upon moving in I placed a number of small maintenance orders at one time and the gentleman I believe his name was Pablo kindly came in and fixed everything. I am a month into my lease and would recommend The Madison to others!

I’ve had a great experience moving to The Madison. Kiara was an excellent leasing agent who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable with moving during a pandemic. She was communicative, friendly and gave us all the information we needed to make a good decision about layouts. The apartment is a great size, our neighbors are friendly and our dog loves looking out the oversized living room doors. We are in phase 2, with a quick walk to the walking path through the woods and to the lake nearby. We are very happy with our place here so far!

9/20/21 update: EXTREMELY BIG ROACHES. New management does not care, especially BLAKE. Shannon is the only decent one. if you love your mental and physical health don’t bother moving here. You will have bugs, car break ins, and broken appliances. The SWAT team has been here multiple times and we management simply doesn’t care. You’re probably more safe at a shelter than here tbh.7/7/2021 update: DO NOT MOVE HERE. The SWAT team was recently here and arrest multiple residents on fugitive charges and also cars are broken into nightly. Management has raised our rent for the next year yet we can’t get any type of security for what we’re paying. You’re better off paying more money elsewhere with better safety. For this to be a prominent area this complex sucks and lacks basic safety.I originally gave this place 5 stars upon move in. After being here a few months, I completely changed my mind. There’s bugs everywhere and the staff is completely rude. Bugs are literally EVERYWHERE. Do not move here. Your car will be vandalized or broken into. DO NOT MOVE HERE. appliances are constantly broken. Managers and those in the leasing office often write reviews on themselves to keep up the 5 star reviews, but the place isn’t worth it. New management/company is rather sub par. After the new company took over they have raised rates and added charges for thing like valet trash. After 5 days trying to see if valet trash would do their job, I never got the trash removed from the trash bin. Not sure why I am being charged for something that never came. I still have to manually take out the trash just like many others. The trash pile is often overflowing and not managed well. New portal/website is trying too hard to replicate Facebook and is an annoyance to navigate. The website lacks settings and preferences to hide that which you dont want to see or that which is shown. Not everyone needs to see random messages from others let alone have a marketplace or chat groups for everything. The website should be streamlined and remove the extra clutter, pay rent/file a maintenance ticket/ and other directly relevant things pertaining to renting the apartment and keeping it maintained. Additionally they use sub par contractors to do renovations on occupied apartments and claim no responsibility for the damages/loss to the tenants property from the contractors they hire. Often times legal action has to be near threatened to get anything done. Many of the changes are borderline illegal and close to break the lease as they stand. I liked the previous management more as things like this would not happen.Too many negatives lately that its quickly becoming bothersome.First update:Updating to 1 star as they are essentially pushing/forcing optional features as a mandatory for their online site. Additionally, the site they have contracted to use states in their privacy policy that they collect and distribute personal information such as IP/Name/Address in addition to any website you have accessed and more. Talk about shady and scummy.2nd update: they forcefully argue against the covenant of peaceful enjoyment with threats of eviction if you dont want them to remove the functionality of your kitchen and bathrooms for 1+ weeks. I still cant use my cabinets and the new counter-top coat is as rough as low grit sandpaper. I have tried scrubbing and cleaning it but the counter-top is shredding the sponge. After the guy sprayed the counters I still like this sandy dusty grit over many of my possessions. The electrical job is haphazard and now the outlet loosely dangles out from the wall. All this has been from Tuesday and i still have yet to regain access to my bathroom/kitchen counters and cabinets.Quiet enjoyment is a sham to them and they trample over their tenants rights. I would rate this lower but I cannot. I will be looking into filing a written complaint with the Attorney General of North Carolina.3rd update: renovations still not complete as of October 28th and they started October 8th.They have installed aerators on the sinks showers and kitchen which limit the water flow significantly creating a loss in pressure for all devices. The water feels like Id need to spend an extra 5 minutes to wash my hands or 30-40 minutes to shower fully or an hour to wash a set of dishes.Additionally, they have upgraded my blinds that formerly were able to be lifted with blinds that have no ability to raise/lower which is an obvious downgrade.Furthermore they have changed the lighting in my apartment and now I have a cheap chandelier I fear I have to duck under as it is able to obstruct me and I can easily hit my head. I am 6+ tall and it is now an impairment to my living condition. In the living room I have now less light from my nee ceiling fan and light than I had with the previous fan and light. I have yet to see an improvement/upgrade. Everything that has been performed has taken an excess amount of time and greatly has impacted my use and enjoyment of the rented space.4th update: They are now tacking on extra benefits that now increase our rent and was not agreed upon on/in the contract. I honestly am more excited to move elsewhere when I can than I am to come homeStill ongoing bad mgmtTldr: dont rent here, your not treated like a customer/tenant

The move in process was completely horrible and the manager was unprofessional and blamed her actions on a personal matter. After paying my fees to move in they attempted to place me in a unkept, older model apartment completely opposite of the one I toured.Given all of this I did reach out to corporate informing them of my issues. They removed some rates from my fees and placed me in a newer apartment. I have not been to the office since I moved in. The staff does not correspond to emails in a timely manner or hold their staff accountable for miscommunication. I did have to reach out to corporate on a second matter.I’m beyond relieved that my lease is expiring soon as I’ll be moving out! My apartment is nice but the walls are thin. I live on the third floor and can hear everything below and next to me. It’s annoying. Especially with the parties and smoking. The stairwells are not clean. Between the smell of trash and pet urine I’m over it. Definitely moving into a house after this.Move here at your own risk. But do your research. Barely wanted to give this a one start review.

They won’t ulket you unsubscribe from their email list. They will constantly send you emails after you unsubscribe. I’ve had to file complaints with the FTC in order to try and stop their spam. I’ve been receiving emails from them for a year now. Avoid this place at all costs.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The complex in general is well maintained. I love the way my apartment looks; they did a great job with the cosmetics of my place. Despite there being a ton of bugs everywhere outside, I almost never see any in my apartment so I imagine pest control is doing its job well. My biggest complaint is that I have had an issue with many of the appliances since I moved in only a couple months ago. The dishwasher did not work even the first time we ever used it. The water pressure for the bathroom sink is frequently only a trickle. The dryer has a defect in it that snags the clothes and rips them and stains them with rust. The air conditioning broke down. Some of these issues were resolved already in a timely manner, but it is a little alarming how many issues have popped up in such a short time period. There should be a better quality check on the appliances before someone moves in. Also, many people have their dogs off leash and even unsupervised, which causes me a lot of anxiety when walking my own dog.Edit: Had some serious customer service and communication issues upon move-out. They took eight hundred dollars from our account, they had no idea why that amount was withdrawn, and then it took an extensive back and forth conversation to convince them to give our money back because they wanted to hold on to it in case they needed to repair anything...and then there was apparently another charge after we moved out, but the first we heard of it was from a debt collector reaching out to us with a delinquent charge. The leasing office said they tried to contact us by mail and email, but neither me nor my husband got these messages and the office never even called us to tell us about this charge before going to the debt collector. They could have at least left a voicemail or something before going this far and charging us...Im not impressed with the customer service we received at the very end of our contact with them.

My husband and I are relocating from Maryland to the Matthews area. We reviewed apartment communities online prior to our visit. The Madison was our third community during our visit and #3 was magic number. Amber Jones is awesome and very friendly. Very knowledgeable in her profession. Worse place I’ve ever lived!!! staff is rude, valet trashed doesn’t work as ir should, they try getting more money from you from where they can possibly get, awful communication, cockroaches all over the place and endless problems. Do yourself a favor and skip every review talking about how positive the moving in process was because after they’ve charmed you into renting they no longer care about you! I’ve lived here for 2 years...now that it’s owned my The Madison and they’ve made all these “upgrades”, which clearly I’m not the only one who thinks they’re laughable, they’ve decided our rent should increase $100’s to renew in August, PLUS all of these new fees for terrible services. While looking at apartments online (this apartment is no longer worth what they want to charge for it) I “liked” The Madison just to keep my list organized and the website notifies them so they can reach out to potential buyers. Side note: this same night I emailed them separately just saying I wanted to set up an appointment with Michelle L (she’s the only one whose consistently shown she cares) about our options to renew. So! I get an email AND phone call from Amber the next day going into beautiful detail about the place and wanting to set up an appointment to see if I’m interested in moving there. I purposely didn’t mention I was a current resident bc it was obvious that suddenly I was being treated like a priority which has not happened since I signed my lease. I STILL haven’t gotten a response to the email I sent about the renewal appointment! It’s only been 3 days, which I wouldn’t have freaked out as much before I knew how quickly they can respond to someone they think isn’t even a resident yet! After the 3rd email she had realized I was a current resident and lemme tell you! The tone and energy of the emails just proves what I already knew! So yeah. The first sentence of my review is the best advice I can give anyone thinking about moving in.

We have enjoyed living in these apartments. The living space is a good size, the kitchen and bathrooms were just remodeled to be a nice, modern white, and we love having a deck for our son to play on. Maintenance is great- the request platform is easy to use and they are filled in as timely a manner as can be expected in such a large complex. Staff is friendly, pools are great. They just updated the package system so it is delivered to lockers instead of on your doorstep. I do wish there were assigned parking spots- its kind of just a free for all. Location is nice as it is close to Charlotte, but also to Matthews where we frequently go. The only thing that would be nicer is if there were an additional entrance, not right off 74. Overall, a nice place to live.

After looking at 3 other apartments the same day, my roommate and I came to see The Madison and immediately loved it. Amber was very friendly and thorough with the information she provided. We were able to see the actual unit available as well! Communication has been fast and efficient, and we look forward to living at The Madison. We are a bit concerned about negative reviews concerning slow/unresponsive maintenance, but are hopeful everything will go smoothly during our stay. I will update this review later on once we have lived at the apartment complex for a bit.

I have lived here for several years now and so thankful for the new management throughout the past year. I hope that the staff remains here because they have been so helpful and caring. I first moved here because the location is perfect for me since I can just go straight down Independence to work and/or shopping areas but I have grown to love the community where I live. The renovations inside my apartment are beautiful and the landscaping looks so much better now. I love walking around our community and seeing smiling faces.

We have lived here for several years. We have seen lots of changes. The changes over the past 6 months have been the best. The new management team seem to truly care about the community. Service request are taken care of promptly. The team is friendly. I love the new renovations they have done to my apartment. Beautiful new paint color outside. Added a 2nd dog park that is closer to my apartment, my fur babies love it! I love the new package lockers, no more rushing home to get my package from the office. Great place to live!

Such friendly amazing people, I even spoke with a resident who is coming up on her year of being with the complex and was extremely excited to renew. I applied for this complex over two months ago. Me and a friend applied together and we were denied. I was to receive my admin fee back but because my friend went back some time later and applied for herself they took the funds and applied to her new account even though they were supposed to be refunded. I called and called, emailed and emailed and finally got the Assist Prop Manager and she stated she would look into it and follow up with me later that week. I never received a follow up. So I finally go to the property and try to speak with her and she tells me it is a domestic matter and I need to take it up with my friend. No, our application was denied so Im owed my refund. She gets snappy as if she was too busy to speak with me so the Property Manager Raul comes and speaks with me. I give him the entire rundown and he requested my proof of payment and emails from me and the leasing agent Michelle. Its been another two weeks and Ive received no communication from anyone this is ridiculous. Please dont waist your time applying to this complex because its filled with people who need training in customer service and effective communication. Im honestly glad I was denied after going through this.

Hahahahah. I don’t even know where to begin.HANDS DOWN THE WORST COMPLEX IVE EVER LIVED IN!Do. Not. Live. Here.I could list 3764 different things that were terrible about this place. But the worst? No, it wasn’t the burn marks in the counter tops, or the green mold growing in the windows that never got fixed, no matter how many request you would submit....One day, I legitimately walked into my apartment, to find a maintenance worker trying to attach a hose to my Landry room water line....TO POWER WASH THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING! Yes. The outside of an entire apartment building....the power washer was sitting on the sidewalk outside and had already been used...Best part- HE BROKE THE WATER LINE! So my laundry room flooded and we couldn’t use our washing machine for a week until the part they broke was ordered and delivered.The property manager offered to pay our water bill, but only if our bill was higher than normal amount.This place is a disgrace. I’d rather play in traffic on 74, than ever consider living here again.When we finally moved out they tried to keep our deposit, until I emailed corporate and threatened to have my attorney contact them.

Matthews Crossing is very convenient to shopping and schools all centrally located. Amenities are ok, apartments are spacious and clean. I love the end of the month community events. Maintenance response time needs work, and there should be yearly apartment up keep. Need new appliances, grounds and hallways need more cleaning. Overall very nice just need a few improvements

While there is nothing wrong with a form email template being used, this was a super lazy attempt. I called seven times and never had a rep pick up the phone save for once. On this final call the receiver was dropped, then I was placed on hold, then pulled off of hold and the receiver slammed down. Dont know what was going on there the the first week of March but it wasnt very effective at leasing apartments to people with cash in their fist.

Moving to Charlotte wasnt easy but moving into Matthews apartment has help me transition from New York. The application process wasnt hard, and neighborhood is safe, nice and clean. My apartment is spacious for a one bedroom, and new appearance. I actually feel happy living at Matthews apartments, I would highly recommend moving here to others.

I moved into my apartment in March of 2014. There have been many changes over the years, but the current management and office team is by far the best I have experienced, and I am always able to get help promptly when I have a question or need assistance. Just today I had an issue with a package that was misdirected by an Amazon driver. I contacted the office, and in less than an hour Carly had personally investigated and remedied my issue.Though I can count on one hand the number of maintenance tickets I have placed over the years (I believe its 4 in 5+ years), the crew has always been quick to process my requests. When the drain line for my air conditioning unit clogged several weeks ago, the technician came the same day I submitted the request, and not only vacuumed out the drain line but also took the time to clean the entire intake grill and surrounding area, to keep the unit functioning at its best.The vendors that are currently in place to assist with things like pest prevention and fire equipment inspection have been very friendly and knowledgeable, and I have felt comfortable having them in my home - thats a big deal. (And notice that I said pest *prevention* and not pest control - I have been here more than five years and have never had a single issue in that area.) And the grounds crew works constantly to keep litter picked up and leaves blown and collected, etc.Amenities like the valet trash service and the new locker system for package delivery are very convenient for me - those have been welcome additions recently. Like so many other residents, I work long hours and appreciate the fact that The Madison continues to take steps to make my life a little easier.

Live in this community unhappily.Good location, but tools have already been stolen from my van.I used the pool area for the first time on the weekend, the bathrooms were without minimum conditions of use, had no paper and minimal hygiene, it was a spider house.I have had a problem with my bathroom for over a week.The same is clogging with each use, without throwing paper in the toilet, I complain and for them because I have two bathrooms is not priority, I complained on Saturday, came on Monday, on Tuesday the problem persisted reopened the call, and the same problem back, today I went to complain because the problem was not solved last Saturday and the manager simply say that my problem is not a priority because I have two bathrooms.Now I will only look for steps to get out of this community that cares little about people who pay their rent but have no right to complain when there is a problem with your unit.

Most (not all) staff is really friendly. Average experience...could be better but it wasn’t amazing either. I saw drug deals going on in the parking lot all the time...saw a few arrests that management had no idea about and also would see non-residents park and smoke or do drugs on the property.

We had a service request do get our dishwasher looked at and Pablo was assigned to the maintenance request. He was very professional and was able to diagnose the issue quickly. He replaced the dishwasher with a new one and then came the next day to ensure everything was working correctly. A++ rating!

While The Madison appears to have a lot of four- and five-star reviews, tenants are asked to write a review before even moving in, so Im updating mine after having lived there for a year. The actual apartments are nice space-wise with nice appliances, but there are a lot of issues with the complex overall, including several bug problems, unnecessary charges, problems with valet trash, and cars frequently being broken into. Additionally, the staff started off very helpful before I moved in, but some staff members were unhelpful past that point, and on some occasions even rude. I wouldnt recommend it.

The previous owner was great- quick maintenance, friendly office staff, etc. However, the new owner is a completely different story. On multiple occasions they lost packages, and moving out was a nightmare. After never giving me full move-out instructions, issues arose that they were in absolutely no rush to correct. This includes having $1,000 extra dollars taken out for rent, not getting the money back for several weeks, and having to frequently contact staff to ensure that something was even happening. Decent apartments for the price and location, just take the company with a grain of salt.

The complex is very pretty but they were having some issues when we applied and we couldnt really get in touch with them, after a while we just applied some place else. The community has improved so much since the new management took over. Work orders are completed in a timely manner, the new staff actually cares about the residents, the new renovations are beautiful and the new additions, such as valet trash and the 24 hour package lockers are great.

Matthews crossing is a very affordable and quiet place to live however the service isn’t great. I stayed here for 2 years and dealt with sewage and mold problems the entire time. After moving out of the apartment my phone calls were never returned regarding my security deposit. The place definitely has its pros and cons.

This place was ok. But then people started not to pick up after their dogs and the management has not done anything about it. Our water has been off the last 2 days, management sends an email stating it will be on at a certain time and doesn’t come on. Neighbors called Charlotte water and they stated that it wasn’t them. So we are all asking now what happened to the water??? They need to reimburse tenants or take something off the rent . This makes no sense . Also, may I add they are raising the rent and nothing is showing for it.

Shocked! I have been living here for almost 2 months. We almost did not move here because of the reviews, but now I can say I am very glad we did. I have never received such a good customer service from the maintenance crew. Raphael and his workers gave us the best customer service I have ever had at any apartment complex. Also, if it wasnt for the customer service and relatability of Robert in the office we would not have pulled the trigger. I am not sure how other people had a bad experience. Maybe they have new management now? For the price, quality of apartment, customer service, and atmosphere you cant beat it in this area. I highly recommend this apartment complex!

I moved here one month ago. The process was very fast for me due to a career change. The staff was extremely helpful with the whole process of setting up all the paper work and leasing information as well as the dates for my move. The only issue I encountered was that there was some kind of miscommunication between the office staff on when I was actually moving in and they had the carpet cleaning scheduled three hours before me moving my furniture in which was not a very good start. But there was nothing I could do about it either. The maintenance staff was outstanding. Brett and Jay were extremely helpful and completed things on the spot that had yet to be finished. This was a big portion of why I didnt give a five star rating. They just seemed to have forgotten about my move in it seemed.Another reason I did not give 5 stars is that I had to push them a little to get things done that should have been done way in advance of me arriving at the Apartment. Seemed like someone forgot that I was coming. I really enjoy living in the community and the apartment price is on point. Very reasonable for the quality and location compared to others that honestly were exactly the same. I looked at the reviews before moving and compared them with others and decided on this one due to location to work and price point. I was in a very rushed situation and needed to find a place to stay. The ratings from others are a bit harsh. There were definitely frustrating moments moving in but overall my experience with everyone has been pleasant thus far.

Horrible!!! These people have false advertisement. I apply for an apartment, because I relocated from SC to NC. I explained the urgency of needing my apartment. My move in date was 2/28, that was changed because I was advised by Rena someone passed away in the unit. She rescheduled my move in date to 3/3 for a different unit, that was changed to 3/6 because the unit wasnt ready. I was also promise on several occasions by Rena and Michelle they would call me back after I disagreed with moving in on 3/6.I asked for a refund back, Michelle said they would refund my money and she would call me back. A week passed, I never heard from Michelle. I spoke to Raul the property manager and he denied my refund.Do not apply for these apartments they have false advertisement, I was advised today they are under renovation and they dont have any homes available. This was a hardship on me and I am very disappointed in the way they handle the situation. All the broken promises and they trying to keep my money.

Ive been living here for quite some time and I must say the apartments, services, and office staff have made some strides. New management has made an effort to upgrade and provide a more refined living environment. The apartments are nice, I appreciate the 24hr fitness center access, pools and service they provide to the community grounds. The office host multiple engagements/socials for tenants to attend which is pretty nice. The only thing I can request is a better system to maintenance request. Maintenance can be slow to respond at times, which can be frustrating. At one point, an office staff would reach out to you and re the status of your request and even follow up thereafter - but I dont see that occurring any longer. All-in-all, its a really nice place to live.

This is probably the most unorganized bunch I’ve ever dealt with. They point Finger’s at each other about who was supposed to complete work orders ( been waiting since November 2017). You call the office about other questions when they actually answer the phone they seem confused/lost . The assistant manager needs to go to school for Customer service skills not sure how she got that job. It’s a nice place just horrible management and maintenance crew!

I have been reading the other reviews and am stunned. I have lived here for 10 years and have had nothing but good experiences. I have found very few bugs in my apartment and those have been dead. I give credit to the pest control because something killed them.As far as the office staff, I think they are great too. They are very nice and professional. Any issues I have had with noisey neighbors have always been taken care of in a very timely manner. They really seem to care.Maintenance is handled very quickly and the maintenance staff is courteous and competent.I must be living in a parallel universe from the other people who wrote reviews because the Matthews Crossing in my universe is great.

I was in the process of moving out of my old apartment when i came across this complex, after being shown one of the apartments and the reasonable price i decided to apply. Dustin who i spoke with ensured me that if i applied that day that particular apartment would be secured. A few days later, i was approved. After they took my money, i starting hearing less from them of course. I called several times, prior to my move in date, no answer. Finally,i spoke with Dustin. And i was told my apartment would be ready to view that following weekend. When i arrived, “still wasn’t ready” For two months, i was told i could not view the apartment because they were in the cleaning process. I heard absolutely nothing from them after that. The day of move in, i just showed up because i was unable to get in touch with anyone. When i got there, they had no clue i was suppose to move in. They finally showed me the apartment, it was absolutely nothing like the one i was previously showed. It was bleach spots all over the carpet, the smell of mildew and no blinds throughout the entire apartment. I immediately refused to move in under those conditions. I then asked for a refund, because i spent over $300 in move in fees to show up to this. Dustin stated, i would receive a refund and he apologized that the apartment was in those conditions. Since then, I’ve called, sent emails and no one ever responds. I would absolutely not recommend this place. Scammers!UPDATE: I NEVER received a refund. Also, after reaching back out to the property manager as I was told to do so, he never responded.

The management company that came in about a year ago is really bad... They didnt respond to or return phone calls, they lost packages (and they leave the closet where they keep their packages wide open; no wonder things disappear sometimes!), the door to the 24 hr gym was broken for MONTHS despite many promises to get it fixed tommorow, theres always a wait in the office, etc. etc. The places are decent for the price, but Id look elsewhere so long as Bridge Property Management is the owner here.
