PRESSLEY SOUTH END APARTMENT IS THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE MY CEILING WAS FALLING APART FROM THE PIPE BURSTING FROM UPSTAIRS MAINTENANCE CAME AND DRILLED A BIG HOLE IN MY CEILING & SAID THEY WILL COME BACK IN 2 DAYS IT NOW BEEN 2 WEEKS WE CONTACTED THEM EVERY DAY AFTER THEY SAID THEY WAS GONNA COME BACK THEY KEEP SAYING THEY COMING TOMORROW, ITS THE SAME THING EVERY TIME I NEED MY CEILING FIX ASAP BUGS ARE FALLING FROM THE CEILING & THE INSIDE OF THE CEILING IS NASTY & SMELLS BAD YALL NEED TO DO BETTER YALL WANT PPL TO PAY THERE RENT ON TIME BUT CANT FIX THE DAMAGE YALL CAUSED

Quiet, quick response from maintenance, it is a clean and family oriented community. I love my cute and cozy living room.

At this moment I have water pouring down from the ceiling in my bathroom, why because someone upstairs is taking a shower but I have went to the office and called about this situation it’s been over 3 months now and now it sounds like someone is taking a shower in my bathroom. Had this situation been fixed, I would not have to get up at 5 A.M because I was thought that my toilet was overflowing, why because they never came back and fixed the half job they been doing in this apartment. Make sure you qualify before you pay... it was like they just wanted the application fee and then they tell you that you didnt qualify..I qualified for a better place

I have been staying in these apartments for 4 years and I have been complaining about my refrigerator leaking been having issues for the last 2 years and no one has fix the issues I told them I will be needing a new refrigerator still have not gotten it n I had a pipe burst in the apartment upstairs above me leak down into my apartment and damage things in my apartment now I have mold on clothes n shoes

Too many young groups of young men claiming to own places or areas in the complex

This place was so exhausting to live at! I lived here unfortunately for two years ! The units are small, u hear everything from upstairs! If someone is taking a shower u can hear the water run! The hallway always smell. They have hotel ac units in each apartment! The neighborhood is terrible! U hear the big black door slam all day an night ! If you are looking for anything and was just in a rush to move then hey take your chances! I’m just thankful I was able to move on and I normally don’t leave bad reviews but this place really drained me ! The security is rude I could go on and on! Plz try other options first!

The smell of weed coming from tents apartments you can sleep cause they party all night Ive been in my apartment almost a year the washing machine and dryer hasnt worked since I moved in but they want remove it from the apartment the bath tub is always stopped up the bath room sink is always stopped up but still collecting this 990 a month

Had to keep calling with no answer and was then told we were not approved. Then told we would get a letter in the mail why ? I dont understand, they could have told us at that point, after we had paid $160.00 for 2 people for application fee.

Nice people and property

I have been here for over a year. When new property management took over, much changed. Lisa is awesome. Excellent maintenance, very professional. They have put in alot of work for upgrades, such as exterior paint, new windows, roofing, new parking lots. Reasonably priced, and many nice neighbors. Affordable housing is difficult to obtain in Charlotte, and Pressley South End offers a great standard for those in need. New management has made a huge improvement, and I assume will continue to do so. The older reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. No pest problems whatsoever. Clean, well-maintained, and maintenance will remedy problems immediately. I am grateful to be here.

Small hidden treasure. Awesome location close to highway and reasonably priced for south end. Cats Bus drives it community which is also convenient. The complex is older but you get washer and dryer in every unit and u dont pay water!!!

I dont like the apartments they have a lot of work they need to get done. Somebody threw a brick through my son window last night. I dont feel safe over here I need to move ASAP!!!!!

Bad mold that makes us sick, cleaned it and it just grows back mind you upon moving in we were told the units don’t have mold. Everything was just thrown together, our toilet been broke for months and maintenance came and just got the water to go down but didn’t fix the actual problem, so it continues to do the same thing. The oven is off, you have to sit in front of the oven and watch your food because it will burn in 5 mins or less. Still call maintenance and get no response or answer from the office I ’m not paying another dime for this place, just moving out. My first apartment and it has been a disaster.

I pay $920 for a 2bdr 1 bath for me and my 3 children. Maintenance is good on responding. It’s quiet where I live but I heard the back part can get rowdy. But that’s gossip so I don’t know for sure. They changed management 1X since I been here. The only printing have sometimes is the water when it rains. See picture. I think the rent is too much for what u get. But we are only doing 1 year. No bugs. Mailboxes secure. Bus runs 24/7...#12. Occasionally see the police. The ice cream truck runs thru here too. And in the summer time #CMS brings food for the kids. U have a dog park with swings and a basketball court. And u have a great park for the kids and the big kids. It’s cool. But we are only moving bcuz I can get more place somewhere else for $920. I think this apt is worth $850ish. But it’s cool and quiet if u need a start outbplace. White, Black, Mexican, old and young live here. Oh yeah the walls are verrrrrrrreey thin. So....... 🤷🏾‍♀️

Apartments have roaches galore, nets flying around, they come out and spray once every 3monthes but its not working, the roaches drink it up like red koolaid.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! STAY AWAY! The workers in the office are very disrespectful. My apartment was run down && still DIRTY from the previous owners. Maintenance acts as if they dont know English && will steal any & everything out of your apartment & the property manager will do nothing about it. Thats why I told you to get renters insurance The police Stays in this area. Plenty of break ins, gangs, bad a*kids. Its ridiculous. They even raise rent w/o notice🤦🏾

It was okay for an first apartment. maintenance always come a couple of hours after i put in request. the bad things there is mold growing around my tub, every single closet door in my apartment has broken and doesnt slide, we have to lift it to open it. since we move here our water only stays hot for about 8 minutes andthen its cold. so we have to take very fast showers. These apartments are VERY small i have 3 people in my living room and it looks full ! doesnt have central air or heat. i have to run the heat in my daughters room to heat the entire apartment and the wall unit doesnt shut off so our electic bill raises. i would renew my lease but i just feel it isnt worth the size nor the area. someone just got shot less than 2 minutes away. people cars are being broken into overnight by teens. i dont understand why their trying to make these apartments something there not. its still considered roseland. only thing i really love about this place is the washer and dryer included .

I have been hear a year and my tub has been clogged since I moved in. All the mantience man do is take a plunger and plunge it everytime!! The bathroom sink stays clogged as well. Its so bad that I cant even wash my hair in the shower or shave. My light bill was sky high this winter because its a draft comin from my back door through the cracks so that forced me to keep my heat on high all the time being I have a newborn and 2 other small children. They dont have all the amenities that they advertise online. The paint is cheap, it peels. Other then those MINOR problems it can be a very peaceful place to live.

I currently live here and I’m leaving because my tub has been peeling since feb and no ones had fixed it and i Call all the time. It’s loud and ghetto out here. Grown woman fighting. I’ve called the cops numerous times because of loud music and teenagers shooting in the air....sooooo glad I’m moving. And they have the nerve to not want to take section 8 lol smh
