This complex is a great place to live. The staff is very attentive and send informative emails regarding whats happening in the building and surrounding areas. The maintenance team is proactive, efficient and quickly resolves any problems. Great location and the grounds, rooftop area, and amenities are very well maintained.

The entire staff at Camden Cotton Mills is phenomenal - management, leasing office, maintenance, and cleaning. Its rare that a place treats you as well during move-out as they do during move-in, but everybody there was always friendly, professional, and responsive to me during my entire stay. The noise level is very low for an apartment, amenities are well maintained and rarely crowded (although I did live here during the pandemic year), cable and internet were included, its very walkable to anywhere in uptown, and the views are excellent - especially on the uptown facing side. I highly recommend if youre looking for a place in uptown Charlotte.

Enjoyed every bit of my stay at Camden. Great friendly staff who always want to help, the building itself kept very clean and safe during the entire pandemic. Fob or mobile app based access controls ensure that unauthorized person cant easily enter the living area. The apartments have concrete floor which means you dont have thudding from footsteps on the apartment above you with wooden floors. Very near to the downtown area right next to Harris Teeter, Starbucks, CVS and other amenities.

This is a reply to their response:Regarding the break-ins, the 1st was with the previous manager, the 2nd was when 12 other vehicles were broken into on a Sunday night and the last break-in happened during Covid and we spoke about it in person when we ran into each other in the Crave parking lot.Management continues to do nothing about smoking even though I have told them where it is coming from. They repeat the excuse that nobody else is complaining and they cant smell it from the hallway. I tried many times to get them to come down but they have not been available or didnt get back to me. I started letting the neighbor know I could smell their cigarettes. They purchased a candle to mask the smell. The candle was worse and made me sick. The candle burned for four days until I finally got someone from the front office to come down. They couldnt stand the smell and agreed it could make you sick. This employee couldnt smell it from the hallway and no one else had complained. This proved their logic was useless yet they still wouldnt help!They mention Trash Butler but nothing helpful. Even Trash Butlers site calls this a revenue stream for properties. This is an added service forced on you.Management has never experienced the issues I claim by their choice. I was asked to provide specific proof and when I did, they said they didnt need it. They didnt think I would follow through.Aug 2021 Review:I have lived here for over three years and enjoyed it for the first two. A combination of Covid-19 and a long term lease has kept me here much longer than I wanted to. During my time at Camden Cotton Mills, they have turned through a lot of employees. I have worked with over 11 people here at Cotton Mills alone. The current front office employees are friendly but do next to nothing to actually help if there is an issue. My car has been broken into three times while parked in the garage and each time I have been told the cameras couldn’t make any details out. We pay additional each month on top of the rent for secured parking. I have been harassed on a daily basis by a neighbor and they do absolutely nothing about it, even when provided the proof they specifically asked for. I also have a neighbor that chain smokes cigarettes on a daily basis but because no other resident has complained, they again do nothing. I have been told my emails went to their spam although they have responded to them just fine in the past. One front office employee has lied straight to my face and when I called her out on it, she was literally speechless and said nothing. In addition, this property forces you to pay $33 a month for a valet trash service even if you don’t want it and are perfectly capable of walking your trash down the hall yourself. This “service” has not picked up trash 5 times recently yet I am still forced to pay for this horrible service. Residents however get fined $25 each time you don’t follow the valet’s rules specifically. When I reached out to the front office about this, I was told “That just isn’t a priority for us right now”. There are so many things wrong with these trash valet services. Go on Trash Buttler’s site and on their front page they even advertise themselves as a revenue stream for properties.I could easily write another 12 examples of the horrible experiences I have had at Camden Cotton Mills. Be cautious of the positive reviews here. I know for a fact, the last property manager here had at least one of her employees and their spouse write fake 5 star reviews. That manager was let go but the reviews are still here.

Couldnt have asked for anything more while living here. Incredibly spacious closet, awesome floor plan and the location is unbeatable. The courtyard has an amazing uptown view too. Maintenance requests were resolved within the same day usually and the leasing staff were awesome, especially Madison. She was really friendly and always willing to help. Dont look elsewhere if youve come across this place!

I moved to this building from a concierge building expecting a big drop in service. Boy was I surprised. Camden Cotton Mills has provided the BEST service of any building I have ever lived in. Every person who works in the office takes the time to know the tenants and what their needs are. They are not so corporate that they live by corporate rules over tenant needs. I discovered during the COVID pandemic that their attitudes are a direct reflection of the corporate culture they work in. Camden immediately went to work helping the tenants who needed help and reaching out every month to make sure we were do okay.Further, the service team members are amazing. They fix everything quick and right. I have a cat and always worry about people entering my home when I am not there. It turns out that my maintenance team are cat friendly and have even made friends with my cat. It makes it so much easier to know that they will take my needs and her needs into account when handling my maintenance needs. Also, our cleaning crew are thorough and friendly. We have had the same people for a long time. That says so much about the building.Finally, the unit itself is quite large. It is an industrial space with concrete floors and high ceilings. I have never heard a neighbor on either side of me, but you can hear when someone is in the hall (which is very infrequently). Overall, it is a great place to live. I guess that is why my plan to stay one year turned into five.

I just moved in, and I love everything so far! The apartments are so clean, modern, and spacious. Special shoutout to Madison and Hope for being so amazing, helpful and kind. :)

Camden cotton mills has been a great place to live. Its pretty close to uptown and its quiet on my floor. Madison in the front office is awesome and quick to help with anything needed. Highly recommend!

Ive lived here for just under a year and Ive had a wonderful experience. I love my space, parking is pretty much perfect, and the patio is gorgeous! Im very happy with our awesome staff as well! Elizabeth, Rachel, Lee and Mike (and the new girl Cortney :) are hard workers and it shows! In my experience, they have been very attentive, kind and always friendly. Im very pleased with my decision to move here!

This is such a great place to live! The amenities are awesome and the property is well managed and maintained! The rooftop deck and pool give an excellent view of uptown. I love how close it is to go out to eat, drink, and see friends! The team at cotton mills is above par when it comes to customer service!All in all, live here!!

Camden Cotton Mills is a wonderful community. The apartments are gorgeous inside, building is maintained very nicely, and the amenities are great. The rooftop deck and pool area gives the most gorgeous view of uptown, especially at night! The staff at Camden Cotton Mills has always been so kind and helpful with any request I have. Elizabeth, especially, has been exceptionally kind in making Camden the best place to live in uptown! Mike and Lee are always prompt with any service request I have as well. Amazing industrial designed building, modern finishes and a staff that’s incredible, between the amazing office staff, the maintenance staff responds and addresses issues ASAP, I can’t say enough about this place. Love it here! I’m not sure why you’d really look anywhere else.

Fantastic apartment community in a really great location. The leasing office staff are incredibly nice and always accommodating. The few times Ive needed a maintenance request they came either the same day or the next, which in my 6 years of apartment living is unheard of. One of the maintenance staff even drove an hour at midnight to fix our AC unit! Besides the great staff, the gym is nice, theres always plenty of parking space in the deck, the patio area is great and the location is hard to beat.

This place is an excellent place to live! My wife and I enjoyed our time there very much. The staff is very attentive and the maintenance team is very efficient. The rooftop patio is a great place to hang out with a pool and grill area. This location is only about a 5 minute or so walk to the center city. Excellent place to live!

This is my second Camden property I have rented at and I have nothing but great things to say! Much like my experience with Camden Ballantyne, everyone in the office is super nice and helpful at Cotton Mills. Any maintenance requests I have are handled quickly and without interrupting my work (I work from home). I love the rooftop patio and often use the grills when the weather is nice. If you are looking for a great place to rent uptown, this is the place!

I have toured several apartments in and around Uptown and these are by far the best value for your money. I always feel safe and secure and not to mention, any service requests Ive had were usually resolved with in just a few hours of placing the request. This staff is really energetic and helpful and they really go out of their way to make you feel valued. The resident appreciate events are such a cool opportunity to get to know my Camden community. I also enjoy the little surprises that we find sometimes, like Starbucks Frapps outside my front door and breakfast on the way out of the gate. We recently signed another lease and look forward to another year at Camden! Thank you to all of the staff for keeping Camden clean, safe and fun.

My fiancé and I just moved to Camden Cotton Mills. We absolutely love it here. Benjamin and Rachel made our experience with signing the lease easy and answered any questions we had honestly. We love the vintage warehouse feel of this place, especially the high ceilings and big windows. Anytime weve had any questions or concerns, we dont hesitate to call Benjamin. He welcomes any questions, and deals with any issues gladly and efficiently. Highly recommend both Camden Cotton Mills and the staff.

Great place to live, secure building, location, unique apts and well maintained.The staff is by far the best! Can walk to all events uptown and grocery store, and all sporting events. The city view from the pool deck is awesome.

I love the location, plus the staff is extremely helpful and professional. If I ever have a question or problem they respond and fix it immediately. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Best place Ive lived so far! So easy to get work done in the computer center then go relax by the pool. And management hosting a few pool parties over the summer was a great way to meet neighbors. But the thing that really pulls it all together is the staff. They are always friendly, helpful and available. And they host so many resident-appreciation events (happy hours, holiday packages, food in the lobby, etc.).

I LOVE this property. The building is secure, the structure ensures a peaceful apartment with no noise from any occupants above or beside you. Also, the staff is ALWAYS friendly! Benjamin is amazing and is always willing to answer any questions or resolve any concerns!

I lived at Camden cotton mills from August 2017 until December 2017 and while I was there, staff was amazing, amenities were amazing, and the apartments were wonderful. The only reason I moved is because I realized I didn’t love living right in the city. However, it was surprisingly quiet (couldn’t hear cars going past.) the only issue I faced is that my neighbor liked to have parties on the weekends and it was extremely loud at times. It sounded like 100s of people were in that apartment when there was less than 50. If I had talked to Camden about it, I’m sure they would have taken care of it though. The only other issue is parking, as there is not enough of it between the retail parking and people taking up spaces that don’t actually live there.All in all, I recommend this apartment to anyone, especially someone working in uptown and wanting to live close to their workplace.

Really great place for uptown living in desirable 4th ward location. Awesome apartment homes with high-quality ammentities. The management team and maintenance staff is top-notch, always responsive to our requests.

Ive lived in the Cotton Mills for almost three years now and have truly had a great experience. I love my apartment, my view and the 7th floor pool deck is awesome in the summer. The staff is always friendly and readily available to handle any issues that arise. Any maintenance request has always been handled within 24 hours (mostly less). Ive read/heard some complaints from other residents about noise at times but those are rare occasions within the building and noise from outside is to be expected. It is after all in the middle of the city. I dont see myself moving anytime soon!

Lets get something straight... Even though I ended up in the wrong place BY ACCIDENT! and had no earthly idea that the Welcome Center was for an apartment building the little girl who was in the office, on 12/17/16 around 12:00PM, was extremely rude to me when I was being nice and apologetic for interrupting their day. She just stared at me, not saying a blooming word until I walked out of their precious office. Honestly if this is how they treat people of the outside community I wouldnt want to live there and interact with them. Rude little girl needs to get a clue and buy herself some manners. Were from the South, its called hospitality no matter who you are or how much money you have.**Side note** You might want to change your name on Google from just Welcome Center to Welcome Center: (Whatever the name of your stupid apartment is.)

Very friendly management team, quick responses for repairs, industrial/modern-looking apartments, tall ceilings, not too noisy, short walk to the Harris Teeter and CVS, always enough space in parking garage, & many fun events!

Absolutely love it here. Apartments are big, staff is helpful, and everything just runs smoothly

I really think that Rachel is a superstar. She has been more than helpful and flexible.
