This will be my second year at Ascend@1801 and I have to admit that I really enjoy living here. The apartments are large and spacious. There is a park for your children to enjoy, two dog parks for your pets to enjoy, a pool, grill, fitness rooms, and lockers for packages. The people here are cordial and I can see that there is a diversity of people that live here. In the beginning I had my reservations about the front office staff, but Angela and her team has proven to be professional, helpful, and friendly. I truly appreciate them. I can say the same for the maintenance staff as well, who always addresses my request within 24 hours. The only issue is the front dumpster, over the weekend it can get really full and looks really bad until the trash is taken on Monday. Otherwise this a really good place to live.

Really wish someone would take us serious when we say the kid upstairs above us runs ALL DAY LONG. When he isn’t running he is riding one of those electric cars that toddlers can fit in, that belong outside…They say that there is nothing they can do about children… we have tried communicating with the folks above us but they insist that their child isn’t running or doing anything at all! So we are just hearing things?! Sad that I pay rent to hear that non stop all day and I work from home. Should I just waste security and waste their time and call them every single day?? Ridiculous.

I moved to these apartments a month ago, when they show you the model apartment, all very nice, but the reality is different, the common areas are dirty lack of cleaning, supposedly they pick up the garbage 5 days a week and it is not like that, since I arrived, the air conditioning fails and they only come to check but they do not fix anything, definitely very sorry to see me passed to this site, do not beat what they charge.

I moved in less than a week ago. Chelsea worked tirelessly to get us approved and moved in to our new home. The team here has been great at answering questions and getting back to us quickly. The location is super convenient to grocery stores, food, etc. Only reason it’s 4 and not 5 is due to the technology package being Wi-Fi only with no ability to hardwire unless you sign up for an additional internet package with Spectrum.

Do not move here. The apartments are decent for the price you pay, however you will have to deal with trash being left all throughout the buildings, dog feces as soon as you step out your doors, there is police coming to the complex almost every weekend, your packages being stolen as well as other personal belongings and nothing is ever done about it. Very loud noises whether it be from neighbors or outside drama. They allow anything to happen here and no matter how many times you call to complain they do nothing about it. They will literally allow anyone to move here.

Chelsea is amazing! She’s so sweet to us from day 1 and always comes out to say hello to our dog (who just loves the attention she gives him). We’ve had some issues, like with any place you may live, but when you call them and need something done they make it happen. The maintenance crew is new and improved and equally very nice. They always say hello to us when they see us out on our walks and they are very considerate with our dog’s anxiety. They let him say hello to them so that he feels more at ease when they are in our apartment and truly it’s the little things like that, that make me feel at home here. Thank you Chelsea and all those maintenance workers that make us feel part of a community!

I enjoy my apartment for the space and price . What I do not enjoy is the fact my AC has broken atleast 3 times within the last month and there was no true concern from Angela. It’s super frustrating to talk over the phone with someone who is being dismissive or nonchalant about my apartment being over 80 degrees. Is it there fault ? Absolutely not, but acting as if you do not care or have no sense of urgency around making sure my air is working is unacceptable.

My sister and I have lived at Ascend @ 1801 since July of 2019. Initially I was a little worried because unfortunately in the past they have received some very negative reviews, but I can honestly say this has been my favorite apartment complex that I have ever lived in. The new management is FANTASTIC! I can tell that they genuinely care about their residents and Angela (the property manager) is working very hard to improve the image of the complex. They have made improvements to the landscaping and garbage pick-up, and they do the best they can to keep the package locker service running smoothly. The pool and other amenities are very nice and the apartments have all been renovated recently. The maintenance team is great and always responds promptly to our requests. All of this for a very affordable price and a wonderful location. Do yourself a favor and give them a try! I promise you wont regret it!

I LOVEEEE it here. I’m on the third floor, it’s peaceful, my neighbors are cool, the staff is an INCREDIBLE crew of ladies (miss ang, lizzy, madi and chels) but I have to give a special shout out to Chelsea for personally working with me and being like a big sister through the whole process!!! Oh and they have a dope maintenance crew so yeah just know ASCEND IS THE PLACE TO BE!

This place is rather disgusting, trash everywhere, most everything is broken. AC has been out in the gym for almost 2 months, despite reporting it every few days. Weve called for repairs before and I think I know more about how to fix the issue than he repairman. The girl who is the property manager is dismissive and rude to pretty much everyone that isnt trying to rent. Some parts of the place looks nice, like the pool, but they just hide all of the other issues. You cant walk around the complex without dodging mounds of trash. The whole place is gross.

Ive noticed the name has changed at least twice since I moved out. The apartment was a nice size but the hvac system never really worked well in my apartment. Hopefully theyve fixed the roof as it rained a few times in my apartment to the point I even recorded it but nothing was ever done (one of the reasons I moved)...the breezeways was another concern due to people with pets letting them poop in them and the constant aroma of marijuana that was being smoked on the property

The upgrades in the apartments are beautiful. Granite and stainless appliances look amazing with the cabinet color. I have never seen such roomy floor plans. Courtesy officers have now been hired and that is very comforting to now that our community will have this extra set of eyes. Dog restriction is limited only to Pits and Pit mixes. So my Shepherd is welcome!

I have read over the previous reviews and none describe the new property management company. They are excellent! The office staff is professional, courteous, and have attention to detail. No matter the issue they take care of it with a smile. The property has all the bells and whistles you could want plus being close to restaurants and shopping with easy access to the highway not too far away. Gorgeous pool, stainless steel grills, a fitness center that spared no expense with lots of equipment. The maintenance crew is great. The grounds are kept up nicely, they are courteous, and pleasant. Also, for people with children, the school bus drops off in multiple locations on the property. Peace of mind for a parent. Definitely a place to check out!

These apartments are horrible. I have to walk through spit and blunt paper wrappings everyday with my kids just to make it to my door. I’ve complained several times to management and nothing has been done. These apartments are no where close to luxury. More like upscale projects. The fixtures are cheap and maintenance is horrible. My washing machine broke down along with my garbage disposal. I’ve only been living here for 3 months. I would never recommend this complex. The amount of rent they are asking for is not worth it. Believe these reviews and don’t do it!!!

I moved in over a year ago and I’ve seen so much change. The property manager Angela is always present at the complex with a smile. Cameras went up around the property, and they started doing more community get togethers. Definitely give this place a chance!

I just renewed my lease and I am regretting it now. The apartments are very spacious and the rent is affordable. However, the residents run this property. You can break the rules and theyre little to none consequences . The pool closes at dusk, but youre more than welcome to hop the fence because Signal 88 does a very poor job patrolling. Their excuse is that they have other properties to attend to. Living right by the pool sucks due to people breaking the rules and having pool parties at 3am when youre trying to sleep. If you dont feel like taking out your trash then you can just leave it outside of your door and valet will pick it up during THEIR hours of operations. Even though we pay for amenities, the gym would be locked at random times without notice. Its not like half of the equipment works anyway. The staff is very polite and they honestly do try to work hard to resolve your issues, but some of the residents on this property will ruin your stay. Maintenance requests take a while to get resolved but if you constantly call it will get done eventually. Hopefully they get the residence under control because I really like my apartment.

I haven’t lived here for two weeks and my experience has been horrible. I’ve already been looking at breaking my lease and speaking directly to an attorney. I’ve even reached out to the Better Business Bureau. On my move in day, my washer and dryer was not in my apartment. It actually didn’t arrive until 5 days later. Now, my air conditioner isn’t working and hasn’t been since last Friday (today is Thursday). They delivered me some cooling unit and said they would be in tomorrow (4/9) to complete a flush... well today is 4/11. I recommend walking the premises at night prior to signing the lease also... it’s a true indication of the neighborhood. When you arrive to look at the property, management will sell you, but i recommend doing your own research. I recommend looking at other neighborhoods in the area even if they cost more- it’ll be worth it.To management: please come fix my air today and take this cooling unit that you told me was temporary. I am a new resident and my experience here has been great. I am so sorry when I read these previous reviews. Its like everyone is talking about a different development. Its the height of summer and have not heard any noise. Maybe its new office staff. When I first came to check out apartments, my experience with the office staff helped me in making a final decision. Very happy I moved here, loving the environment. Friendly neighbors. Actually everyone keeps to themselves, so far. No complaints in my building. And the young people, well they are young but so far very respectful. I am new, just 2 weeks but I am sure my instincts have not led me wrong. God is good - all the time.

The staff is professional and the groundskeepers clean up each day. It took some time for mnt to get to our dishwasher request but once they did the issue was corrected promptly. The apartments themselves are decent, especially for the price. If you are looking for a decent apartment at a decent price it’s a good choice. If, however, you are looking for a safe neighborhood do not move here. I’ve lived here for a few months now and have been woken up multiple times in the wee hours of the morning by screaming neighbors, loud music, and police. Just this week the police have been called to the apartments three times, and it’s only Wednesday. This is really great since I wake up at 4am to go to work. The staff is doing the best that they can but it might be worthwhile for them to start doing background checks as part of the welcome package here.

Would I renew my lease here for another year? Absolutely NOT. Only good thing about the apartment is its affordable and very roomy. Been dealing with pest issue, and I can say I killed more roaches than I have ever in my life in short period of time of being here. Thank you to the current residents for providing me with all these reviews and useful information. I called last week maybe 4 times looking to speak to someone about leasing and no one got back to me. But these reviews about the poop being everywhere, trash being everywhere, pest infestation, thin walls, incompetent maintenance employees, numerous crimes, and strong weed smell told me everything I need to know. Hopefully this will prompt management to make serious changes to the community and I will reconsider in the future.

The actual apartment seems ok so far. Maintenance is a little slow at handling some things I need like a screen for my window, dishwasher and faucet. I’ve been here a little while and the biggest complaint is that there is poop everywhere and people leave their trash out in the breezeways at all times of day. Probably attracting bugs and wild animals. Besides myself, I‘ve only seen about 3 people cleanup after their dogs. I try walking my dogs and you can’t go 2 feet without stepping over poop. Sometimes when the wind blows the right direction, you can smell it too. It’s frustrating. The dog parks are filled with poop too

My air conditioning did not work the majority of the summer. I initially asked for reimbursement to increased utility expenses because of the inconvenience and having to run two units for the majority of the summer. Although I was told that the someone would get back to me in regards to this no one did. This complaint was submitted directly to the apartment complex and forwarded to the Bridge Property Management Regional Manager on July 2, 2015. I never received a response to date. Again I voiced my concerns to the new property manager Julie Austin on August 3, 2015 in person when she came to inspect my apartment. She advised me that she had only been the property manager for a couple of weeks and was unaware of my situation. I explained to her that I had asked for compensation due to the extreme inconvenience of the air conditioning, only being able to utilize one of my two bathrooms because no one would come fix my guest bathroom toilet for the majority of the duration of which I have occupied my apartment, multiple service requests just being flat out ignored and incomplete. I advised of the horrible communication and she agreed to meet with me on August 7. We had a meeting on August 7 which I agreed to get her the invoices from my utilities and she agreed to speak with her superior since she had no authority to compensate me. She advised that she hadnt forgotten about my service requests but she would put them in on our meeting because she wanted to make sure there wasnt anything else that needed to be done. At the conclusion of this meeting I was under the impression that my service requests would be taken care of sooner than later within the next week at maximum and that I needed to scan in my bills to Julie to make sure that she had the documentation necessary to speak with her boss. I followed up with her via email on August 15, 2015 and still my service requests had not been fulfilled although she stated that they were simple requests. In addition between now and then my dishwasher is now not operating properly either and I have three children so doing dishes by hand is an extreme inconvenience. Since I had another issue with my air conditioning on Sunday August 16, 2015 maintenance finally came by only because it was an emergency call that they had to respond to immediately. He drained the dish washer and promised me that he would be back Monday the next day to fix it, August 17, 2015.He has not been back since. I emailed Julie again that same day advising and all she has done thus far is apologize. She has not followed through on any of her promises. At this point I have advised her that the property is not keeping their end of the bargain. I am paying 1225.00 a month a three bedroom TWO bath not one. I have not had use of my second toilet since May 2015, now I dont have a dishwasher yet I am paying for cosmetic upgrades that are falling apart. The counters that were just refinished prior to me moving in are chipping all over the place. The cabinets barely stay on their hinges, I suffered through the majority of the summer with no air conditioning, and do have been limited to one bathroom for almost four months when I have only lived in the apartment for six months. This has been a horrible experience. Now my brand new dishwasher doesnt work. This is beyond ridiculous. My last email advised Julie that I would like to terminate my lease early, in the middle of December to be exact. She has yet to respond to advise what her boss has said and still none of my service requests have been completed.

Management staff is constantly changing, probably because they have no control over the tenants or maybe because theyre just awful at their job. We pay an additional fee for valet trash to make the community cleaner as you can see it is in worse condition than it was when people had to take their own trash to the dumpster. There is also an additional fee for their locker service where all packages should be delivered safely to. Out of the many times my fiance and I have ordered something it is either: left at our door, lost, or stolen from the locker itself. Dont understand why I should be paying for a service to have people steal from me. We wont be renewing our lease.

EDIT: All those glowing five star reviews you see below? Yeah, those are the management and employees trying to raise their star rating on Google. Sad.Horrible service. Even worse maintenance and negligent management. My AC was broken for four days straight in May and the repairmen treated me and my roommate like we were crazy for saying our AC was broken. My apartment was 80+ degrees for days- it was, quite literally, uninhabitable. Contacting management did nothing- they dont respond to messages and ignore residents actively. I asked for compensation on my rent given my apartment was boiling hot for so long because of them and have received nothing. They never pick up the office phones, making it nearly impossible to talk to anyone. Combined with the managers willfully ignoring their paying residents, this apartment complex is a sorry excuse and a complete scam. Please, listen to the other reviews. I will be leaving when my lease is up and not looking back.

This place is a money hungry group! Will Nickle and dime you in anyway they can. And management Has a nasty attitude! I guess I shouldn’t worry about it she will be gone soon. They can’t keep management! This place has been owned by numerous companies and so management changes all the time. They NEVER answer the phone! CAN YOU SAY FRATERNITY HOUSE? This apartment complex is chock full of inconsiderate juveniles. They will wake you up at all hours of the night and then sleep it off peacefully while you go to work sleep deprived. Dont bother reporting them to the so-called manager; they must be kin-folk... The so-called manager will tell you that there must be a third party witness to the incident. Their no-show rent-a-cop resident has to be the third party witness! And, they will tell you the CMPD doesnt enforce the city or state Breach of Peace laws... Anyway, forget about your rights and your sleep here... Also, the grounds are always littered with empty beer cans, cigarette butts, and other trash, a reflection of some of the low-class residents that live here. Want to get out of your lease because you cannot live in peace here? Forget it... The so-called manager says that they have lawyers and you cant get out of your lease if you tried... Wouldnt a Judge love to hear that proclamation! An apartment complex that holds the gavel... And, I did I mention that the so-called management lies about former complaints? ... Forgot they are all over the Internet! Not to mention they are rude and non-professional... So, if you want to live at a low-class FRATERNITY HOUSE go for it... I hope you work 3rd shift...

Everyone has started with where do I begin. I know exactly where I start...the service is unprofessional and minimal. The old management was ok but left on a sour note. However the new management is much worse. They got rid of security and resident services. Maintenance is horrible and the reviews show that everyone has bug and mold issues. Our mold issues are only with the old dishwasher we asked be replaced numerous times and our ladybug issue are only in one room...a bedroom, near a window. Our sink drips but we still get charged for water even though we have called maintenance. The swimming pool and gym both included amenities close at 6pm because they havent fixed an issue with an emergency phone at the pool...for over 2 weeks (update - they finally fixed that, I am told). They will try and tow your car if your registration is not current too. We are also told that if we had any bug issues, to include bedbugs, it was our fault because bedbugs ONLY originate from hotels and luggage. So much wasted potential on a great location! Lovely pool, dog park, and playground area though.

And there’s never a solidified solution or answer from the owner besides,”come in person to speak with us” or “I apologize, reach out to us”. Isn’t that what they’ve been saying throughout their text they’ve been doing? I like to see you rectifying the problem or actually coming to a consensus in your answers. I won’t be staying out my lease here. The smell of weed in my apartment is overwhelmingly strong every day, and I simply just can’t take it anymore. Im currently pregnant, I have small children, and this isn’t the environment that I want them or myself to live in. My neighbors are extremely disrespectful and inconsiderate to the people around them. They are either loudly physically fighting each other all day, or loudly partaking in adult interaction at all times of the day. The fighting has gotten so loud and violent on several occasions, that it scares my kids. But the weed smoke is just simply on another level. Sometimes I come home from work feeling like I can’t even breathe from the overpowering odor. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on air deodorizers since I’ve lived here, but the smoke is just too strong. My neighbors just don’t care about anyone around them. It feels like this is their apartment building, and I’m an intruder. I’m living by their rules. Time and time again I’ve complained, and nothing has changed. At this point, I’m worried about my health, as well as my children’s health. Enough is enough. No one deserves this. I pay rent here too, just like everybody else, but this doesn’t feel like home. It feels more like an extension of campus living. I’m miserable here, I’m angry and I feel helpless. This is hands down the worst apartment experience that I’ve ever had. I used to absolutely love my apartment here, but the people that have moved in around me have really brought it down, and they don’t have to follow the rules. At this very moment, I’m sitting here at 2am while the smell of weed consumes my apartment, and a headboard continues to hit the wall. I can’t sleep between the noise and the smell. I just can’t take this anymore...

My experience with the staff has been awesome. Cindy assisted me through my application and a tour of the complex. I am a previous resident and was stressing out about getting approved because of the roomate situation that I was in. I know this review is long, but please take the time to read it if you are considering living here.I am a twenty-something. I dont make a lot of money, so I have fairly low expectations of an apartment complex since I cannot afford to live the life of luxury. So when my bar of expectations is already set extremely low, I found it disappointing when this complex could not even meet the bare minimum.I suggest going in to speak face to face if you want to speak to someone, because they very rarely answer their phones. You can try leaving a message, but in the year my roommate and I lived there we never had a single call returned. They claimed they called and left us voicemails, but the detailed call list from my phone carrier has proven that to be untrue. If you want a work order put in, I would suggest making sure they dont just write it down and say they will do it later. Make sure they pull your file up and put it in right then. My roommate and I had to put the same work order in five times and it still never got fixed. Also, on the subject of work orders, you can say that they are not allowed to enter the apartment if you are not home. We did these for work orders that needed to be done in our rooms in case we were showering, sleeping, etc. I was always home within the time I said I would be for the work orders to be done and no one came. When I went into the office to ask why, the maintenance staff wrote on the work order that I was not home and that they called and left a voicemail. Again, the detailed call log shows that to be untrue. The leasing agent also told me that if they werent able to complete the work order, then they cancelled it. They dont reschedule it, they cancel it. So you have to constantly keep putting in for the same work order. The only saving grace this complex has is that their leasing agents actually try really hard to find answers for you. Unfortunately for them the management has such a lack of communication with them, they can only guess the answer and you will most likely get a different answer with each person you ask. On to my final point, my move out statement. While trying to dispute it with the property manager, she avoided me until it had to be sent to collections. I called six times before she wasnt too busy to take my call. On that call she told me she would pull my file up and call me right back. I asked her if she could put me on hold instead because I was convinced she wouldnt call me back since she ignored every message I left with her. She assured me she would call me back. Well four weeks to the day later I called her back and she said it had been sent to collections and I could dispute it with them. So now, because of this person (who is supposed to be a professional), didnt want to deal with me or talk things out with me, my credit and my rental history is jeopardized. There is a lot more that could have gone into this review. There were a lot more issues, but these were the most notable.

Im supposed to move by the end of this month. I must say these comments are making me very nervous! I really dont want to move into a college dorm. Often times, you must see for yourself before making decisions off other comments. We will see how it works out. Im happy Grand Reserve gave me the opportunity to live there.

Horrible! Dont waste your time or money I have had mold in my apartment for over six months now someone will come in and just paint over it I guess and the mold will be right back my last work order was marked as closed and nobody had even stopped by not to mention I do have a small child living here but they dont care! My car was towed twice in one week because I didnt know my tag had expired they didnt even give me a chance to get a new sticker before it was towed again! And staff dont care they just brush it off like no big deal! Management has changed about 4 times since Ive been here so nobody even knows anything about your previous experiences! Please dont waste your time or money!

The Grand Reserve is a wonderful place to stay. Updated kitchens, the size of the apartments are the best around the area and is pet friendly! I would highly suggest to stop by and check out the Grand Reserve!

This is the worst experience Ive had in my life. This has truly taught me to read reviews before moving in. All the negative reviews on here are accurate. I had move out of my first apt because so much was wrong with it. Now in the new apartment Ive had to call the police on my upstairs neighbor 5 times and have gone to his door a total of ten times. You get nowhere with the office or corporate. Ive reached out to current manager and will not respond to phone calls or emails. Since moving here 3/2016 there has been 3 managers. I would not recommend these apartments to anybody. PLEASE PLEASE save yourself the headache and believe the reviews on here. #TheWorst

Very disappointed with them. Despite the bad reviews I took a chance applying there. Make you feel welcome and talk the place up before you to apply. Everything went well with credit and criminal check, but because I was 2 days late paying past rent in a 12 month period which was out of my control they denied me and there goes my $200 non refundable fee. Never even ask why or concerned. Its all good though. Found a townhouse much bigger paying the same amount they could of had. It wasnt meant to be and a blessing to find something better. How much money do they make after denying people and not giving some of the money back. Oh well!!! Lesson learned.

You would think that this place would get the hint after reading all of these 1 star reviews. 1.7 google rating is the lowest I have seen in a long time. We cant wait to move out. All reviews on here are in line with what I would say.Very poor operators in the leasing office, maintenance doesnt fix anything.Things have got so bad here that the whole community is actually coming together to force a change, they will be in for a rude awakening once that happens. Strength is greater in numbers.Please please please do not rent here if you are considering.

This is my second year there and Idk what the people below me are talking about. I love this place. Its quiet and while the walls arent soundproof I rarely ever hear my neighbors. Lovely pool and a very friendly and attractive staff. For the university area this is the best apartments for the price. Not to mention the bed rooms are much larger than every furnished apartment Ive seen.

The new property management is a joke. The service is awful. No one ever answers the phone, or returns phone calls. I have mold in my apartment. I have a child that is documented to be allergic to mold and still the property management has not come out to look at my apartment and address the issue. The new company makes you pay for trash valet which is an extra 20.00 on your rent. The apartment has long standing water issues. I would not recommend anyone to live here. The neighborhood does not feel safe . Loud music, grilling on the patios (illegal & dangerous) and nothing is enforced. The gym closes early.... if its even open. I would not recommend anyone to live here, because there is not anything luxury about this apartment complex.

Lived here for over 3 years, only stayed there cause school and work was close by but thankfully I will be moving very soon. Dont live here if you want peace and quiet but do move here if you enjoy living near hood rats and dont mind the gangster thumping music. People have no respect for others living below them. I could go on forever about this place but that is my main gripe along with the increasing rent every year with nothing in return for the residents.

Out of the several times I have tried to just GO INTO the office to ask about their apartment options, they have not been there. The office is always closed during open hours, when I have called to ask about things I have either gotten no answer or the person on the phone has not been knowledgable enough to answer my questions. I have friends who live here and they complain of mail theft from the lockers and slow-moving maintenance workers. Very unprofessional, and I dont even live there.

Staff never picks up the phone and always loses or sends back my packages even though they aren’t sitting there for long. Management is always changing so nothing ever gets done. Walls are so thin that you can hear everything we’re on the third floor and we can hear the people below us. The residents run this place not the management. The reviews are artificial from the management trying to boost the ratings from a whole one star to a whole two star rating wow amazing. Hint if you’re going to leave fake reviews at least use a different name. These apartments LOOK nice but that’s about it.

ATTENTION‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️If you are looking to lease here DONT ..... my lease is up at the end of May and we did not renew.. For starters the FBI WAS OUT HERE LOOKING FOR SOME GUY... The office staff is constantly changing I can no longer keep track of who is in the office... the rates are going up but not the quality of service.. My neighbors are horrible 🙄🙄 upstairs and downstairs.. the marijuana smell seeping through my air vents are about to drive me crazy... any noise complaints you have don’t even bother telling the office they will refer you to call the CMPD.. the breezeways are nasty all the time, dog poop everywhere, valet trash is a joke people have trash out all times of the day and night... they don’t hold tenants accountable for anything.. the police is always out here don’t move out here all the good reviews are people in the office trust me

New management took over in May. No one ever answers the phone very rare! I placed a maintenance order in over a week ago still not handled. Then they lied and told me it was complete. Went home it wasnt! Stray cats roaming around like crazy. Online payment systems doesnt properly total up all you pay for which is rent, water, trash, & pest which leaves a balance for the next month! Only lived here since November which I wasnt happy when I moved in then. This place hires or buys bad management companies. Not renewing

Apartment itself was okay. A bit dated but not really an issue. On site amenities were satisfactory.why the 2 stars - the people and the processes. We were told several benefits and programs about the complex, leasing options, etc. When it came time to write it down, those things disappeared - everything was contradictory to what we were told. We came back because of what we were told. Because of the time that we had to rent an apartment, we essentially had to rent from Pavilion Crossing.We were told of fees after the lease - these were accompanied by subtle threats of eviction if not paid. Now at lease end, we are told that we owe $100 pet fee - we have the proof it was paid. It is also quite convenient that the tally of all deposits and reaming fees added up to a ZREO balance - very interesting since we are due a $100 refund!!Not saying dont live here - just be cautious an keep record of all transaction.

I lived here for a few mths, my lease would’ve officially been over in Nov. Loved my apartment but that’s pretty much it. When we first moved in we were asked and given a paper to filled out in regards to what someone needed to fix or come take a look at. We completed the paper turned it in, and no-one ever came to check anything. We noticed that when it started to rain that rain would come inside our apartment from our sun room, called, they even completed a inspection and until this day no one has came to fix it. I CALLED OVER 2 MTHS AGO!! Maintence is slow when they do decide to come. Management doesn’t control the neighborhood the people do, someone attempted to rob me at gun point in the breezeway which is why I was let out my lease to move. At first I even got some run around with getting out my lease.... Now that I’m moving I asked about my security deposit I paid when I first moved in... which was over $600 only to be told that’s a approval fee, that goes to them (not anything in preparation of my apartment) and the fee is non-refundable.... If you are looking for some place safe, without hidden fees, where maintence will fix the things that are wrong, and management has control of their property look elsewhere

I’ve been here 2 years and I’ve never felt like I would ever recommend this complex to anyone. It was a nicely priced space in an optimal location when I first got here, first couple months were nice but definitely not worth anything overall. My doors and windows are all broken, have been since I first moved. Maintenance doesn’t fix anything from my experience. My windows are literally detached from the frame. Good thing I I’ll have my child after my lease is up here. The neighbors change out just as much as the management (which has been a plethora for managerial staff) has over the years. I hear fighting and banging up against my walls and doors at 12am. Loud music consistently from when I wake up for work at 6 to when I’m trying to sleep, 11pm and later. My car has been broken into. Renovations are cheaply executed. Gym is always closed. Kids break everything. There’s no security to this complex. I can’t continue to live alone, here. This place is really the bare minimum. They are out of their minds if they thought I’d renew a lease for $200 more for the same crappy apartment, amenities and overall complex. Save yourself a visit if you’re looking for a long lease, keep looking.

Im surprised by all the negative comments I have been here since May 2018 and even since then I have seen positive transitions. New management has been enforcing residents to take responsibility for their environment in which they live. They have power washed the buildings and the walkways have been visibly/noticeably cleaner. I have seen residents disrespect the grounds with cigarettes, and small trash in some areas, but this is not a reflection on management as I have noticed how they are cracking down. Maintenance is always prompt and communicative I had to deal with them twice. I hear people complain about maintenance in these posts, but I have not had any issues, now it could be because I work from home and when I have had an issue I just walk to the office and they send someone to deal with it within hours. This may be a disadvantage for those who work away from home (not sure) But Kudos so far..fingers crossed.

Just moved in not even a week ago and I hate it. Leasing Agent told me a bunch of lies about my apartment. The property manager tried to get it fixed and she did a good job with that it. The maintenance team is very lazy my AC went out and he gonna call is tell me that he cannot fix it because it’s dark outside. This is the worst apartment complex that ever lived in in my life. I do have plans on breaking my lease come next month and finding me and my children somewhere else to go. I believe with maintenance being sorry the leasing agent that I was working with . Telling lies about the apartment and being unprofessional this apartment is not for me and my family.

Horrible place, horrible office staff, and horrible maintenance! My air conditioning broke down 4 times in less than one year. They take WEEKS to fix. The office staffs will say they will get maintenance to come fix it but they never show up! All Maintenance do is drive their golf carts around and I do NOT see them fixing anything!DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT rent from this place. It may look all clean and nice but this place is HORRIBLE!

Fitness center, ppl and game room is advertised as amenities...Well guess what...None are in order. Its been months and they still havent opened. DO NOT MOVE HERE! Dont even waste your money living here! Management sucks! They double billed put water for about 7 months and refused to refund us! They are also pretty unprofessional. I hate that we wasted $1,028 a month at this hell hole! Pay more for comfort!
