This place is not that great. No one spoke English so all my request went unheard or ignored. I felt like I had to settle. This is for a pedi and nail gel fill. Toenails not shaped right, Cuticles barely cleaned. I could see the none effort in their work. I like a place that spends the time to make a customer happy and to get it right. U could see and feel the rush job. Been here 2 hours and no other customer. Wonder why???

Went to this salon for the first time on a friends recommendation. I will definitely be going back! Terrific job on my Mani/Pedi and so nice. It was a little pricey, but I am happy to pay for a job well done!

My nails were not done correctly. Lots of filing left out. My tech did not know english well so none of my request were answered. I pretty much settled. This for my pedicure as well (2 different people same problem.)Nothing sterilized!! No equipment was sterile. I didnt realize till after. Pedicure was basic not a lot of effort put into it. Felt rushed. I will not be back.

Had an acrylic fill-in done by Chynna and these are probably the best looking nails I have ever had! Her attention to small details was amazing. Very happy with them! There are no prices listed inside, which was just something small I noticed. But overall great experience!

The shop has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff really get along well and they always close in a timely manner. They all clean the shop and rotate the client intake so that no one is waiting too long or constantly providing one service more than another. Awesome teamwork!

I took my daughter to get her nail fixed but she did notdo anything on the nail only fixed the tip that i could of fixed myself. Horrible service, poor quality and does not listen to the customer.

Absolutely love Crystal Nails & Spa! Heard about this place from a friend and I had to swing by. Its nicely decorated, clean, and the workers are very friendly and welcoming. They had a large range of dip powder and gel polish colors to choose from! Even the selection for regular polish was great! I was offered a complimentary beverage upon my arrival and they practiced sanitation/disinfection to a key. I highly recommend and will stop by again.

I recently visited Crystal for the first time. I have used 2 other salons regularly for years. Not always satisfied. When my longtime salon turned me away because staff was limited..I stopped at Crystals . I was so happy to be attended to quickly and extremely well taken care of. Chyna wasn’t greetful, I’m a male so when I come in a nails salon I expect to feel comfortable, she stated get hand sanitizer not stating where no hello, Teresa had to ask me how can we help you while doing someone else feet, I walk out

I have been to a zillion places in Charleston and I always end up back here. John provides the best gel manicure I have ever gotten. Lasts at least 2 weeks (most times longer, depending how hard I am on my hands), never thick or uneven. They are always polite- it’s an overall great experience. I highly recommended Crystal nails

Man did my nails and did not even put lotion on my hands. Cut my toenails without asking if I wanted it filed or cut. To add insult to injury he cut my big toe nail extremely low. I requested a facial wax and suddenly after attempting to complete before my nails dried it did not work. Unbelievable! I am visiting from NY where I would NEVER pay 50.00 for a mani/pedi. So first you overcharge and do a poor job. GET A CLUE! Someone came into your shop during the COVID - be grateful and treat ALL customers with respect. Lastly, I could not wait for my ride because he turned out light on me at 5 although they say they close at 7.

I was born and raised in James Island and had never come to this salon. I moved away to North Carolina and came in one day when I was visiting for a funeral. I was in and out in 25v minutes and my nails were BEAUTIFUL! Went home and decided to go to the place I had been going to in Charlotte. It just didnt compare. Today Im here and I got SS dipping powder to repair my nails that the other place had destroyed. Service is fast, friendly, and not only did Crystal do my filling powder set with tips, she explained why and how and what the benefits are of using the powder. I LOVE this place. Looks like Ill have to start travelling home once a month for my nails. This service is that good!!

I cheated my nail shop in the North Charleston area. But i dont feel bad I had the best experience at Crystals. Friendly Fast and beautiful shop! CRYSTAL WAS AMAZING!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! First time going to Crystal and ILL DEFINITELY BE A REGULAR FROM NOW ON!! THANKS AGAIN CRYSTAL!!

My mother and I have been regulars at this salon since they opened. Crystal and John are exceptional. They take pride in their work and they go above and beyond to make their customers comfortable. I trust them with providing me the best shellac manicure on the island and I plan to continue to keep returning. Thank you Crystal for nearly a decade of excellent service.

I have been coming here for years, every time I come they are very polite, assist me in picking out services and polish colors if I need it, they never rush me, and they make me feel very comfortable! This is my to go place when I need some me time. Ive never gone to another nail salon since I started coming to Crystal Nail Spa. The owner, Crystal, is always in the building and will make sure you have an amazing experience! I recommend them with 5 stars!!!

My acrylic fill in was rushed and they did not clean under my nails. I was told a fill in was $18 with a $3 charge to trim down. Gel polish on top for, what was posted was $5...total should have been $26....I WAS CHARGED $38 !!! I tried to discuss and inquire about the difference but was told ..thats what everyone pays. Absolutely not true total rip off!! I will never go back or recommend to anyone

Ive been going to Crystal since I returned to Charleston from Columbia in 2012. Shes the only person in Charleston Ive let touch my nails. I always get a glass of wine! I just moved to Atlanta and will miss her deeply. Thank u Crystal for everything.

This is hands down the only nail salon I will ever go to. They are obsessed with cleanliness which should be everyones concern in a nail salon. They have disposable liners for the pedicure chairs to ensure your feet are never exposed to someone elses toe fungus. They use disposable files, and sterilize all the metal instruments. All the employees are great, but Crystal and John are the best!!! I am pretty plain with my nails, but they offer it all.

I was there on vacation and was looking for a place for my nail works. I was so glad that I found Crystal Nails & Spa for the excellent services they had performed. Now that I wish there would be a Crystal Nails where I live...definitely recommended for nail services. All nail techs are well trained and clean.

This is like my fifth attempt at trying to give this place a chance. I stopped getting my nails done after the owner/manager horribly cut my cuticles to the point where multiple fingers were bleeding. I received no apology or a discount. I then starting going ONLY for an eyebrow arch. However, its a hit or miss. Whenever the owner/manager does them, its a strong MISS, completely missing the arch of my eyebrows. She even tried to argue with me today when I told her that I didnt care for her work.

The shellac manicure was $35 bucks!The woman doing my manicure coughed and sniffled all over me for the 27 minutes it took her. There was no manicure to this $35 dollar charge; no massaging, no lotion, nothing accept cut, file, and paint. It was Very disappointing! I didnt stay for my pedicure.Upon paying instead of 5 singles I was given a 5 dollar bill and it seemed to make her upset I asked for 5 singles instead ( to tip. )

Went for a gel mani & eyebrow wax today. Other better salons in the area for the same price. Brow wax left stragglers I ended up plucking myself. Mani looks great but was very rushed.

I went to this salon to get my nails done for my dads funeral. The nail tech was so rude. I wanted her to put white on my nails as my base so my color can pop and she told me NO!! I always did that to my nails and she told me NO. To make matters worst, she turned around and started talking about me to her friend in Chinese. The nail techs are extreme disrespectful. Do not promote this business.

Was horrible I just moved to Charleston and was very very disappointed hands down! There were two ladies in the shop when I walked in both speaking in their native language with one customer in front of them. I sat down and they continued to rudely speak in their language the whole 40 minutes I was there I told her I wanted nail polish only ( gel) I already had tips on, well my nails started chipping the second week, honestly I have had gel nail polish on for almost a month and they still looked pretty, it may have been because she was talking so much and not paying attention. Fast forward asked how much she said 25 dollars Im like omg, as she looked and smiled at the other worker. My nails are buffed down horribly you can now see the ridges in the tips Im so so pissed seriously, in CONCLUSION MY EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE I WOULD TAKE MY TIPS OFF MYSELF BEFORE RETURNING HERE WHAT AN EXPENSIVE JOKE!

Does beautiful work

The lady was in a hurry, the file cut my skin on my nail beds in 3 different spots... the gel polish was peeling off the same day. Careless and sloppy work.

I went in she immediately started on my nails did not say a word to me or glance in my direction. Left as soon as she finished painting. No lotion or anything. Sat there with my nails drying in a fan for 15 min, when I left they were dented and now its chipping and I have maternity pictures tomorrow and have to pay SOMEONE else to get them touched up. Waist of $25 and my time.

I went there about 2 weeks ago with my mother we left there very unhappy my mother got a horrible experience the lady dug into her toe and and it bled she was in pain for about a week no manicure was done no scrubbing of the old skin I felt like they ripped us off when it comes to what they charge this I would not suggest going to this place
