I had my first haircut with Isadora and she was amazing! Everyone was super friendly and professional. Isadora took into account how much I style my own hair, whether I blow dry or air dry, etc. in order to give me an adorable cut that she knew I could manage on my own. Plus, during my shampoo she gave me the best scalp massage of my life! I will definitely be back.

Yesterday was my third visit to Beaucage; they have all been during COVID. The salon is clean and careful and I have felt completely comfortable during each visit. My stylist Sheilah is terrific with color and cut. Everyone I have encountered in the salon has been friendly and professional. I highly recommend Sheilah and this establishment.

Every staff member right up to the owner has been nothing but lovely. I have been going to this salon off and on for 20 years! Every stylist I have seen has been amazing! I live in the suburbs and every time I try to go somewhere else closer to home it’s a disaster! Becauge always takes me back and fixes me right up!This past time another salon had over processed my hair! Who do I call to fix it? Becauge of course!!! She has an eye for detail, and wants you to leave feeling beautiful and confident in your look. Shes honest and realistic, but knows exactly how to tackle all kinds of looks and colors. Firstly, if you’re looking to book here - Larysa is the most trusted and professional stylist I have ever had. I have been a returning client for many years.Larysa is a true professional, in that she takes the time to listen to your requests, assesses your actual hair, and comes up with a realistic plan to get there. It took a few sessions to get to my current hair color, but now it is in perfect maintenance mode. Not only does she nail blonde hair perfectly, but she also does it without compromising on health. My hair has never been this healthy and strong before.Secondly, the salon makes every appointment a good experience. It looks over onto Newbury street and is clean, well kept, with friendly and accommodating staff. Joanne was amazing! My hair was pretty damaged and had a lot of breakage prior to seeing her. I asked for a toner and a cut and she left my hair feeling so healthy and the color blended so well with my roots I couldn’t be happier. She definitely is very knowledgeable when it comes to hair.

I have been going to Beaucage for about 25yrs now and making the trip into Boston from west of Boston. Leanna is a color perfectionist, and my go to -always . I have seen others In Leannas absence, Troy is wonderful and will also have you looking amazing. As well as Deric most recently- for a blow dry, also a perfectionist. Beaucage is the crew you want, no matter who you see, they will always have you looking your best!I have to add that I have read prior reviews, about claims of management yelling at customers(seemingly from multiple friends of a client and not their own actual experience ). My daughter and I got facials, mani and pedi together on March 20, 2021. It was great. All services were top notch and professional. Best facial Ive ever had. Staff is very kind and genuinely interested in wanting you to have the best experience. For our nails we both used the Dazzle Dry polish..our first time- so worth it- today is day 10 and not a single chip.

I came in for blonde highlights and a cut. I was very explicit I want bright blonde and pointed to the shade that existed in my current hair color, and made sure to reference a cooler tone rather than a brassy tone. I paid extra for toner because I wanted it to be perfect and you usually get what you pay for in my experience. I’ve give my hair almost a week now to rest and it looks nothing like what I asked for. My blonde is now three different shades and I spent 270$ to end up with it looking like nothing was done other than a cut. I’m so disappointed because the stylist was wonderful and so nice which is the only reason there is more than one star. She just didn’t follow through with the service I asked for unfortunately. Now I am out 300$ and have to find another salon to brighten this up.

Summary: this is not at all about their actual salon services - we never got that far. Main concerns:1. (major issue) From a COVID perspective, way too many people in that small of a space (I estimated 15-20 people, with most chairs filled) - ESPECIALLY when COVID cases in Suffolk co are so high and only going higher2. (minor issue, but really annoying) They rescheduled my appointment three times, and then ultimately were not actually able to find a record of my appointment when I showed up.Full details:Just wanted to share my experience: I just moved to Boston and had done a lot of research to find a salon I thought would match the service Id had in my last city. Ultimately, I selected Beaucage based on the availability of experienced stylists who specialized in curly hair.I booked an appointment three weeks out (earliest available with the stylist I wanted), and got a call a week later that, unfortunately, that stylist was leaving the salon, and could they reschedule me with another stylist. I agreed, which required me to push my appointment out another half week. A day later, I received another call that we needed to reschedule because that time wouldnt work. A bit more back-and-forth, and we finally settled on April 3 at 9AM.I show up at 8:55AM. I get my temperature checked on entry (that misses everyone who has COVID and can spread it, just not showing symptoms yet), and they ask me to wash hands (not really going to protect against a virus spread by aerosols, but ok), and show me to a chair, where I waited fifteen minutes while they scrambled to find my appointment (they did not inform me that there was any issue during this time). While waiting, I noticed that most of the chairs were occupied in my section of the salon, and I estimated about 15-20 people overall in the salon. I also became hyper-aware that everyone was having active conversations - not an issue without COVID or if the place was a quarter full, but just added to my concern. Note: everyone WAS wearing masks - but again, theyre an imperfect solution and barrier, which is why you also want fewer people in proximity, ventilation/outdoors, etc.After waiting fifteen minutes in a chair, the receptionist returns and lets me know she couldnt find my appointment and could she reschedule me with another stylist. I appreciated her trying to work to fix this situation, but honestly, I was not comfortable there, so I just left.Final note: This wouldnt be an issue outside COVID, if youre vaccinated, or if your risk tolerance is different than mine. I was definitely uncomfortable in the environment, and the appointment scheduling issues left a bad taste in my mouth.

Ive been going to Jeannie Conlon for several years and shes amazing. She is an outstanding colorist, transforming me back to my original red hair--not easy to make someone look like a natural red head. She could make a fortune bottling her formula! My haircuts are precise, and I always feel terrific when I leave. The salon itself is gorgeous and reasonable for such a quality salon.

Deric is the best! He is a color genius and he is obsessive about every strand of your hair! For reference, I have very thick dark blonde long hair and I get blonde balayage. The result is very natural and polished. He also works with his clients to make sure that they are maintaining the healthiest, shiniest hair possible. I highly recommend entrusting him with your hair, especially for blonde color, and I also recommend considering his suggestions. He is both a professional and and an artist, and takes his work very seriously. So far it has benefitted me! He posts many before/after photos on his Instagram: dericleparis. I returned to Beaucage salon for the first time on 9/27/2021 since the covid-19 pandemic began. I always have a wonderful experience at Beaucage Salon. My stylist and colorist Jeanne Conlon is wonderful and always has recommendations for each visit. Jeanne did a fantastic job on 9/27/2021 correcting a color issue and haircut issue from another salon. Jeanne discussed each step of the process with me and the results were great. My rating for Beaucage Salon and Spa is 5 stars.

Its so nice when you can trust your stylist and they listen/work with your needs!

Maura is AMAZING. It took me 2 years after moving to Boston to find that perfect hair stylist fit, and she is most definitely it. I did the Brazilian Blowout there. The hair stylist was great and explained the process very well and suggested that I do Brazilian instead of Keratin treatment and she did the whole job in less than 1.5 hour. Everything was done very professionally and I was happy with the results.The salon is very clean and nicely decorated as well and in a great location.overall, great experience!

My review is more of a heads-up to any new customer looking to book their first appointment. Beaucage has a policy that every new client must get a cut and/or blow dry in addition to a color treatment. I understand if the colorist want to make sure that the color looks ok on dry hair, but that can be done quickly without a full blow dry (which costs an additional 40+). Very odd policy that discourages new customers.
