Jacob has been my sons barber for about 10 years now since he was a baby. I now take my youngest son and my husband even switched barbers to go to Jacob. He is very professional and artistic with his hair designs and different styles. The atmosphere is great and comfortable. You wont regret it. He also has other great barbers working with him.

Discovered this place after recently moving into the area. Scheduled a same day appointment without a barber in mind. Ended up with Damien and he was great. Good value, clean and was in/out in 30 mins. Highly recommend.

The last time I was here, I had an appointment with Damien, very professional and did an amazing job. I made an appointment for today with Roland, mind you I called in to book yesterday. I walked in 10 minutes early, no one said anything, then someone walked in and they put him on the chair right away. I asked and told them I have an appointment at 11, and they said “well they scheduled two people at 11, we can see you at 1130”. This is so not cool. I have a busy day ahead of me, that’s why I called the day before and I even asked the guy who answered the call and said “do I get some kind of confirmation” and he told me I won’t need to, I’m on the schedule already. I’m not coming back to this business.

My man Roland gave me the best haircut of my life! Ive been to a lot of nice barbershops in my life and this one was arguably the best. The atmosphere is great and you can tell youre in a top notch barbershop.

Jacob is a great barber but shows up late to his appointments. I showed 1 time 10 minutes late and after that he cancelled every appointment I made with him with no explanation. Terrible customer service

I started allowing Ellie to cut my hair back in December. I was referred by a close buddy of mine and she does not disappoint. I have referred her to a bunch of my friends and they have all thought she is spectacular at what she does. She is extremely professional and knows what she is doing. This place is definitely a must go barbershop. I definitely would recommend if you are wanting a place that pays attention to details.

The best experience ever! I went there like a month ago for a radical change of look and ask ellie soler if she ever worked with ladies before (some barbers are reluctant to work with ladies), well to my surprised she did an amaizing job! I love it and will back with her without hesitation!besides that...that barbershop is always clean, has this New Yorks look that keeps your attention, people is very friendly too! Fully recommended!

Great barbershop with alot of good artwork inside and talented barbers

I thought everything about the place was great except the end product haircut. I had multiple people tell me a few days after that something was off on the cut (too long in the back). I wish I would have noticed while I was there so it could have been corrected. I went to another barber a couple weeks later and they said the prior cut I got they just completely missed a section. I bet it was an honest mistake etc but unfortunately I will not come back. Happy I tried it but wont be back. Just my personal experience.

Ellie has been cutting my hair for the last few months, and I am always very happy with the results. She is very helpful on what would look good when I am not sure exactly what I want. Highly recommend Ellie and Uptown Barbershop.

I made an appointment with Jacob, the owner, received a confirmation and 10 minutes later it was cancelled without explanation. That was a bummer. I went one other time and it was fine. The unexplained cancellation was unprofessional.

Easy location for uptown residents, parking is always available and they take walk-ins. Would recommend Gloria, HIGHLY. I get a low skin fade, and for the past 2 years since I moved here I consistently get the same result from sitting in her chair for 30 minutes, to the point I dont have to say anything or even look at it before I leave. She does a great job and I would follow her anywhere she went as long as I live in Dallas.

Jacob is my barber there. Gave an excellent haircut. I am a site manager and do a lot of business development with our clients, so a solid haircut is a must. Jacob provides that. Going to get a hot towel shave from him next. Will post a review on that experience.

Went in there to get a trim and was rejected by a barber. No one was there and he said he was booked. It was a 5 minute trim and he rejected me advised to call another barber. Never again coming in here. Bad business I will be letting people know. Barbers are about always giving their bros a good haircut and coming in clutch. From the look of the barbers hair he did not have a crash cut. More of a discriminative look he had. 1 out of 5 starts total douche. I can see why he’s only had one review.
