I truly enjoyed my experience at this nail shop. The service was exceptional and the staff provided excellent customer service. It’s been about four weeks since I received my pedicure and my nail polish is still going strong. They’re very quick but precise. The service is a bit pricey, compared to other places I’ve been to but the customer service that this location offers is so exceptional, you pay for what you get. 10/10 recommendation!

I had the pleasure of visiting Topcoat last Saturday (7/31). My time there was nothing short of amazing. The staff here are kind and attentive. They’ve really created a peaceful atmosphere.First, this place gets booked really fast so it’s best to call in advance. I called a week in advance and set my appointment. I had to pay a deposit of $80 to secure my appointment for the gel x manicure.I started off with a pedicure and then got a gel x manicure. The pedicure was great. The person who did it was very nice and took their time.My manicure came out wonderful. The nail tech was great and did the designs exactly like the picture I showed them.My total for everything was $190. Was it worth it? In my opinion no. The only reason I say this is my nails started to lift on day 3. My nails do not grow fast at all. I do not wash dishes or do anything out of the ordinary with my nails and I was very confused because I read that gel x nails are supposed to last much longer than acrylic. Unfortunately, that was not my case. I’ve only had them for a week as of today and I’m pretty disappointed with how they’ve held up. I’ve paid significantly less and they would still look fresh by day 4-5.This place is great and the staff is wonderful but for the price and with how long they’ve lasted, it’s just not worth it.The first picture is day 1.The second picture is day 3.The third picture is today (day 7).

A really lovely experience! I came in for an organic manicure a bit earlier than my appointment but Amy was able to get started right away. I had no idea what I wanted to do other than a basic idea of colors and Amy was able to help create something beautiful. My hands were super soft for days after and I’ve had no chipping at all in the week since I got my nails done (and I’m super rough with my hands).I felt so safe (materials were cleaned and sealed before use, protector barriers, everybody wore masks, my temp was taken before I got seated) and everybody at topcoat is super friendly and created such a warm (and clean!) environment. Love to support an Asian owned, women owned business, esp when it’s a high quality one like Topcoat.10/10 highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back!

First time here! Got a gel mani today. Cost $50. The tech was sweet and did her best to make me feel welcomed. Not too happy with the shape of my nails. The nail polish was a little too close and thick to my nail beds. I feel like it will be getting chipped soon. Overall, good experience but not the best. I’m disappointed.

I love Topcoat! I have had both a gelx manicure and a dip powder manicure with them and both have lasted longer than any service I’ve received elsewhere. I recommend them to anyone - go see them! You won’t be disappointed.

I went to Top Coat Baltimore to get a manicure and pedicure for my wedding day. I’ve lived in Baltimore for about 10 years and tried many other places. Top Coat is my favorite nail salon. The salon is very clean and elastically pleasing. The team is very friendly and knowledgeable about nail care. I loved the way my nails turned out for my wedding day. I’ve enjoyed the experience so much that I now go to Top Coat for my regular pedicures. It’s an amazing nail salon and I strongly recommend this salon for your next nail care session.

I absolutely LOVE Topcoat. Ive gone almost once a month since theyve opened, and it has been the best experience yet for any salon. As soon as you step inside, you wont notice any harsh chemical smells whatsoever. I love that Topcoat prides itself on only using non-toxic, top notch products. My gel manicures will last 3 weeks without any chipping or peeling. Thanh is amazing and so talented. She gets me every design idea Ive shown her. Highly recommend visiting Topcoat! Topcoat is the most sophisticated, immaculate, and stylish nail salon I’ve ever been to. All their nail technicians are extremely knowledgeable, meticulous, and accommodate any design you bring to them. The picture below shows my latest gel nails Jennifer did for me. I’m obsessed! To top it off, they also use non-toxic nail polish and non-skin aging LED light.

I LOVED this salon. I came in just for a dip manicure, but the overall experience was the best I’ve ever had at a nail salon.The design of the salon was very modern, spacious, minimal, and very clean. It didn’t smell of any chemicals or nail polish like other other salons (although that smell doesn’t usually both me).Everyone was genuinely nice and welcoming. My nail artist (Thanh) was amazing. She really listened to what I wanted and delivered above and beyond results. She was very meticulous and at times, I started to wonder why I haven’t seen other nail artist take as much care as she does.In conclusion, Top Coat was definitely the best nail salon I’ve been too. The end haha.

Thanh and Amy are the absolute best. They’re always pleasant and very professional. Even when they’ve been short staffed they’re services are still efficient. Also, when I break a nail and need it fixed as soon as possible they are always willing to accommodate me. I am so happy I decided to stop in when they first opened. I won’t be going anywhere else.

Out of all the nail salons I’ve been to this is the best one!!! My nail technician Amy is marvelous and on point. I visited Topcoat for a CBD pedicure and a gel manicure and was very impressed. (Full disclosure: the pedicure was a promotional gift but I paid for the mani). The salon is beautifully decorated, spacious, and doesn’t smell like nail polish at ALL. They have a ventilation system at every station that whisks away any fumes. I love that all their polishes are 3- 7- or 10-free. It made me feel healthier in their space to know there weren’t the usual toxic chemicals in the air!The salon is abiding by stringent COVID safety policies too. They took my temperature and asked me to sanitize my hands, before I picked out my colors. The pedicure was heavenly with a long relaxing massage and a rub with hot stones. And my gel manicure was perfection! Amy, my nail tech, paid such close attention to detail to get them shaped just so - she was amazing! Plus Topcoat uses skin-safe LED lights to cure the gel polish instead of aging UV light. Tranh, nail artist, was fabulously skilled and is an expert in the nail industry. I requested a neutral settle design and color for an event I was attending. Tranh delivered! Topcoat is an amazing nail salon! The team is great, they’re all super friendly and all super talented! I regularly see Helen but would feel comfortable going to anyone on the team. Speaking of Helen, that girl is TALENTED! I always go in either having no idea what I want OR I bring her something either complicated or something I found on tiktok. Sometimes both 🤪 This week’s challenge: pink flames. And I was blown. away. Picture attached! Lastly, they’re also super accommodating. I’m a nurse with terrible time management and booked my appointment a bit too close to shift change, so Amy and Helen tag teamed my manicure and pedicure so I wasn’t late. Customer service doesn’t get better than that (I learned my lesson though and don’t make appointments on days I have to go into work!) Anywho, the salon itself is also beautiful and conveniently located; it’s only a two minute drive at most after getting off 83. Overall a great place and I plan to be a customer for years to come!

Im visiting from out of town and knew that Id need a manicure & pedicure. I scheduled an appointment prior to arriving in town, luckily I did because during the time that I was at the salon a few people attempted to walk in for services and were turned away. I paid more than Id expect to pay for a Standard manicure (with clear polish) and a Standard pedicure. But I paid it with no reservations because the ambiance and customer service was worth it. The salon is very chic...and they take COVID-19 precautions seriously. Amy took calls, scheduled appts, and gave instructions all while somehow making me feel like a valued 1st time customer. She even took the time to write down restaurant suggestions for my food tour of the city. Amys mother was a sweetheart. This is the most comfortable (in more ways than one) Ive ever been in a nail salon. Thank you all for a wonderful 1st experience!

I went with GelX nails. SO light it feels like I have nothing on but paint. Much better than the acrylics they replaced and worth every penny!

Simple, classic, almond shaped white nails. I have never been so happy with a product and so they won me over as a regular. I’m obsessed!COVID-19:Like many others, I was fearful of getting my usual pampering services due to COVID-19. I was so impressed with the precautions they had such as the plexi-glass separation windows, temperature check and hand sanitizer upon arrival, 6 feet social distancing between all stations, consistent cleaning between customers, an overall decreased building capacity, and even alcohol prep pads to wipe your phone and credit card when you leave 😍.SERVICE:✨ And don’t get me started about the decor and ambiance! *chef’s kiss* Absolute comfort and luxury. I feel like I’m in a spa in a 5 star hotel. They always take their time to truly pamper you. I’ve never received a pedicure like the one I had at Topcoat. They did it all! Massage, scrub, oil, lotion, etc. 🧖🏾‍♀️. The biggest thing I noticed was that I never felt rushed. Legit THEE best pedicure Ive ever had

I’ve been to Topcoat several times and every experience is excellent! After my first visit, they actually remember you and I’ve been able to work with the same person which is great (although they all are excellent techs) because she remembers everything about my nails. They carve out plenty of time during your appointment to give your nails/feet or whatever the service the attention it needs and it shows when the work is done. They are literally the best salon I’ve gotten my nails done at in years and I’ve been getting my nails done for 10+ years NO BREAKS (because I’m hard on my nails so I must keep them done). I don’t even live in the city but I’ll drive all the way to them because it’s worth it! I know I’m going to leave satisfied every time on top of feeling safe and secured during this pandemic with the Covid safe environment they provide. Going into this salon is an experience and a vibe. If you’re looking for a place to make your home salon, Topcoat is where it’s at!! Plus, on top of organically caring for your nails/feet and not using toxic products, their design skills are AMAZING!!

Went to Topcoat for the 1st time in mid December and 3.5 weeks later my gel mani is still intact! The place itself is clean and spacious and theyre observing all health and safety precautions. I felt completely safe the entire time I was there. I love that its a non-toxic salon and that they even have vents at every station so any fumes are immediately being whisked away. There are massage chairs for when youre getting a pedicure too! I will definitely be returning and am telling my friends to check it out!

I booked the Wellness pedicure and had the most relaxing time. The space is extremely clean, aesthetically pleasing, and well ventilated with plexiglass partitions to the staff team and patrons amidst the pandemic. It’s been 3 days since my pedicure and my feet are still extremely soft and the gel paint turned out to be the perfect pink for Valentine’s Day. I can’t wait to try out a gel x manicure next time!

1st time customer....Amy was my tech and she is amazing.....first of all I walked into the salon its sooo freaking beautiful....huge spacious love the decor....I was treated right away. Amy really took care of me...my pedicure was the best pedicure I ever had...and love my gel manicure. They really follow Covid-19 guidelines...appointment only no walk ins....they take your temperature when you 1st come in and you sign the Covid-19 agreement form....at check I made another appointment cause I will definitely be back. I have looked for a nail artist forever and I FINALLY found one! Jennifer is creative, easy to talk to and very talented. All the ladies working there that I have met are super sweet, professional and supportive of one another. And as a professional in a similar industry that says alot about the positive environment. The service was amazing!! The ladies that did our pedicures and manicures were attentive and did an amazing job. We got regular pedicures and gel extensions plus gel polish plus nail art. It was a bit more costly than expected. A total of $170.00 per person so be ready to spend some money. The facility is super clean and beautiful right in front of the harbor. Mine lasted for 3 weeks and my sisters for 2 weeks. Overall great experience, pricy but for a one time occasion it was worth it.

I visited this nail salon to try the CBD pedicure (also my first pedicure ever). It is conveniently located at the heart of the Baltimore inner harbor. Upon entering, I was immediately impressed by the highly aesthetic and ambient layout of the shop - large windows with a view of the harbor, tons of natural light, and lots of room between stations so I never felt too close to other guests around me. Furthermore, the shop was well kept. I was greeted by the team - Amy, Thanh, and Jennifer - who were all so friendly and professional.Since this was my first pedicure, I had no idea of what to expect. However, what I can say is that the experience has left me with a strong positive impression. Thanh was great - super considerate, and highly attentive as she guided me through each step of the pedicure. It lasted about an hour and it was one of my most relaxing experiences ever. The CBD also added a nice refreshing touch. For those looking for a great nail salon in the Baltimore area, I highly recommend Topcoat as well as their CBD pedicure.

The atmosphere of this salon is amazing! The ladies did a wonderful job with interior and they are extremely friendly. I got the charcoal pedicure and my feet felt like I was waking on clouds afterwards. The included massage was sooo relaxing and the massage chair 😌... I could have sworn I was a some 5 star resort spa. They pay attention to detail and are really sanitary so no worries! Will definitely be coming back!

The space is beautiful and to make a great experience even better topcoat is women and minority owned and all of their products are toxic free! I scheduled 4 appointments for CBD pedicures and the staff was prompt and absolutely amazing. They schedule appointments so they don’t overlap customers so it felt like we had the salon to ourselves for a little. They did so wonderful on all of our feet. This was by far the best pedicure I’ve ever had. My nail technician Andy was so thorough and so were the other staff as well. I live 2 hours away but I’m coming back once monthly for an appointment.

Best natural nail salon in Baltimore!

First off, I want to say love the atmosphere! Very clean, nice, luxury feel, everything you would want coming and spending time at the nail salon. This was my first visit, Im from Atlanta traveling for work and i finally found a place that exceeded my expectations. Jennifer did my nails and I was highly pleased with my Ombre set. I was in love. So the next day my nail broke idk how when or where the tip was broke off. I didnt even feel it. So I had to wait and set another appointment to get it fixed. I was a little upset because I paid $88 but no worries they fixed it but someone else fixed it. It was so NOT a match :( but I didnt trip, it is what it was because the nail was already on there. So Im writing this review today because anotherrrrr nail trip broke off randomly. Im holding my phone and notice Im like dannnngggg and my nails look good but its not worth it if they are going to keep breaking off straight across the tip and this is a different nail. Its kind of annoying because I hate my nails looking tacky but they arent ready to be taken off either. FYI I got my nails done 1/14, it broke off on the 01/15 I Spent the whole weekend with a broken nail then got it fixed 01/22 and another broke 01/28 not even 3weeks.

After months of settling for at-home nails I finally considered venturing out but I wanted to make sure all the proper COVID precautions were in place wherever I went. Thats when I found Topcoats website with a very detailed explanation of all the special health and safety measures they were talking. Their commitment to all natural/organic products was a plus.They followed through on their procedures, taking my temperature when I came in. Amy and I were the only ones there for the first half of my appt, and by the second half only one other customer had come in. Might be more crowded on the weekends but definitely felt safe, clean and socially distant on a Thursday evening.Amy was super sweet and accommodating, spent the time necessary to actually get my toes looking trim and sleek, not just going through the motions. She was patient when I decided I didnt like my gel color at the beginning of the manicure and her own pretty manicure inspired my back up choice. Tried my first accent nail with gold foil - her suggestion - and I couldnt be happier! They even have parking vouchers for a substantial discount at the harbor park garage on the next block.All in all a great experience. Support this new small business!P.S. Any issues with the fingernails are mine from incessant cuticle biting, not the salons. Amy did the best she could with a pretty janky canvas lol.

Let me start off by saying that I NEVER get my nails done because I like doing them myself because I get bored and change the color every week lol, but when I heard Topcoat opening and specialized in organic, natural, non-toxic ingredients in their products I had to give it a try! I drove all the way from the NoVa area and it was 100% worth the trip! Location is great, right in the Inner Harbor so I came early for my appointment to walk around, grabbed delicious seafood, and sat by the water. Interior is so spacious, modern, chic, and relaxing.Anyway, it was my first time getting a dip powder manicure and it was such a fun and cool process! Jennifer was very accommodating and understanding of my indecisiveness and never made me feel rushed. After spending so much time going back and forth between what nail color and designs to get, she was able to incorporate all my ideas and I LOVE the result! My nails are so strong and I can see them lasting even longer than the estimated 3 week time. Ive been getting so many compliments on my manicure and Im seriously so obsessed! My friend got a gel pedicure with Amy and she loved her experience as well.They are also taking all the necessary precautions during Covid. I felt very safe here. The workers are all so friendly and know great customer service. Like I said, I never get my nails done but honestly after my experience at Topcoat Ill definitely be coming back and might be making it a regular thing now!

I got a CBD pedicure and a manicure. I usually have a bit of pain from techs cutting too deep when clipping my nails and cuticles, not here. No pain, fantastic job. The chairs are comfy and have a nice massage function. The ladies are friendly, they adjusted the music to our liking and had great convos with us. My mani was great as well. My wife got a fancy nail design that was well done. We will be back often!
