This is a warm, welcoming practice.The gals at reception/check out are friendly, cheerful, efficient, and caring. Hygienists are invested in your dental health and strive to establish a rapport with their patients. Dental assistants are kind and ensure you are ready for your procedures and are helpful after procedures are over.BUT...no review would be complete without discussing Dr. Larry Lindsay.  I wish I knew what took me so long to move completely to this office! He has a very kind chair side manner, is not judgmental of any poor dental choices you may have made in your youth, and very patiently and clearly explains what your dental issues are and the treatment options.  He has never pushed me into expensive treatments--Ive always had treatment plans with options and solid recommendations.Like much of the population, I dont look forward to going to the dentist, but when I go here, even if Im getting a filling or root canal, my blood pressure stays low. They have such a calm, peaceful (well, except for dental sounds!), environment. Im greeted so warmly it disarms any apprehension.I highly recommend Balcones Dental!

I have always had the same hygienist and sadly she is no longer there. My new hygienist did an awesome job on my teeth. I’ve always been extremely nervous when I get my teeth clean and she was very gentle and reassuring when cleaning my teeth. I have no regrets and will continue to go to Balcones Dental because they listened to me.

Im one of those I hate the dentist people.But not this dentist. Its a good experience.The overall vibe is high end. Nice office. Lots of staff. But it feels very comfortable.Nice people. I had a bridge put in about 5 years ago. No problems at all. My last visit was for root canal and an implant. Thats some serious work. They make the experience good. Good quality work, done by good people, in a pleasant environment. I highly recommend

An excellent experience with all involved. Scheduling was a breeze once I called their office. (Two online messages that I sent to them never got through to the right person.) The front office staff is exceptionally friendly when you check in. (And if you do the very minimal paperwork online before you come, all you need to do is literally tell them youre there.) My hygienist, Michell, was exceptionally patient, kind, and thorough with my exam and cleaning. And Im definitely a fan of Dr. Lindsay. Hes warm, experienced, and very practical in his approaches.I definitely felt as if the entire practice cared about me and that I wasnt just another number in a large dental practice.

They are so amazing! I’ve never felt as comfortable at a dentists office as I do there. They always explain things so thoroughly before doing anything. Not just some, but the entire staff is wonderful!!! Always so kind!!!My daughter chipped one of her front teeth, which as you can imagine was pretty traumatic. It happened at 6:30 in the morning and I called thinking I would have to leave a message but Ms Lisa answered and even though they had a completely full schedule they found the time to work her in! They turned what could’ve been a horrible experience into some thing positive. She now can’t wait to go back to the dentist 😊❤️ We just love them!!!

Balcones Dental has always made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. While like most, I am a nervous patient at the dentist, I always enjoy my experience with Dr. Lindsay and his staff. My dental hygienist, Jamie, has become a friend of mine after seeing her for over 10 years. I highly recommend regular visits as well as any restorative treatment with Balcones Dental.

They certainly healed my bleeding gums, gave me a good crown and good fillings. Its not cheap tho. One thing I was annoyed by is that multiple times I had to pay extra $60 for additional procedure for problematic fillings despite my insurance covered 100% of fillings cost. But then again, fillings wont become problematic if you take care of them in time

I had a wonderful stay-cation this morning at Dr LARRY Lindsay’s dental office (as always)! Dr Lindsay & his staff have the perfect blend of hospitality with efficiency and excellence. Since day 1 of my very invasive dental journey (about 7 years now) I’ve always felt like a member of their “teeth family”, like a cousin returning home from a 6 month stay somewhere like England or New Zealand ... or MONACO. I STRONGLY believe everybody should have the Dr Larry Lindsay & Staff experience. To leave this earth without it .... gosh, I can’t even wrap my head around that.

Ive been going to Balcones Dental for almost 5 years and LOVE them! They are always so courteous, educational, and welcoming. I got 9 cavities filled and it was actually a really great experience - they make sure youre comfortable the entire time and make sure to answer any questions you have beforehand. I moved an hour away from Balcones and still make the drive to go see them because Im determined to never use any other dentist.
