This office is literally the BEST! Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, I couldn’t feel more at home when I come in and that is special all on its own. To actually look forward to seeing everyone in a dental office is just hard to come by. So I’m very appreciative of that.Dr. Cummings is a very well rounded dentist, so I was able to not have to go to a specialist to get a tooth removed and it was all done with his utmost care and attention and without pain or any problems. I also had zero issues getting the stud put in for my upcoming implant procedure. In fact when I get to scanned for my implant they called the facility that specializes in that that and was told I could go in right then so I had no waiting period and it took less than 10 minutes to get in and out. All has gone swimmingly. I’m so grateful that I found this office!If you are looking for a dentist and staff that truly cares about their patients and go the extra mile with being incredibly sweet and polite, I can’t stress enough that THIS is your place! Thank you all for such wonderful care!

I came here out of convenience of location. Braces require lots of appointments and was a 5 min walk from office. Somewhat regret the choice as I had a lot of trouble with the office staff/billing and insurance. At the end it was all corrected but I had to do all the leg work. Medical staff was great though. Also they don’t have the latest technology. Recently had my retainer chewed up by friends dog and needed replacement. They don’t keep the molds of your teeth so would’ve required the process all over again at WHOLE cost ($500). Had I known better would have gone to an orthodontist that does the 3-D scanning of your teeth. I know it’s a pricey machine but there’s even some tools that connect to a laptop so you don’t need the screen/monitor part of the machine that are cheaper. For a pricey office in downtown Austin I highly suggest they upgrade.

This was my first time visiting Dr. Cummings and it was a great experience. The staff was super nice, Dr. Cummings was very friendly and walked me through a phased dental plan. For the first time ever I’m actually looking forward to going back to the dentist!

The office staff, Danielle and Carmen, were congenial, patient and helpful in all aspects. While Michelle, the hygienist and Dr. Cummings were conversant, considerate and professional. I got all 4 of my Wisom teeth extracted yesterday. Dr.Cummings and his DA Rachel did a wonderful job making it as painless and swift of a surgery as possible. Any point I needed a break or wanted to sit up they were patient with me during the entire operation. If I ever need any fillings or work in the future Ill definetly be coming here.

Firs visit here and I loved it. Gabe did great with my teeth cleaning, made sure to point me in the right direction for billing questions (office manager was able to walk me through my benefits and give me rough estimates! Thats all I needed) and the dentist was professional, answered my questions and didn’t dismiss my concerns. Hoping to keep this trend but overall happy with the little things that add up!

These guys are great! Im one who typically gets stressed when visiting a dentist, but Gabriel has a nice manner to him that puts you at ease during the cleaning. This team is a fantastic dynamic of perfectly balanced professionalism and the highest quality of levelheaded deep compassion. I used their online services to register a bright and early appointment after a tooth infection landed me in the hospital. I showed up in agony with 3 sleepless nights piled ontop, and was treated by Dr. Andrew Cummings and his amazingly reassuring support RDA Rachel.Youre going to be fine, Ive seen worse, is not a line you want delivered improperly and is hard to nail. Dr. Cummings knows how to defuse the worst dental pain Ive ever known with that line and a confident, warm chuckle. The entire staff I had the privledge to briefly observe has a noticable chemistry and compassion for each other. It was worth one of the most painful moments of my life to meet such a great team. Results may vary of course but I doubt by much. Thanks yall. Youre all amazing.

This practice is wonderful! I’ve been here twice and I didn’t think my experience could get any better than the first time- but I was wrong. My hygienist was amazing (Gabriel- hope I spelled that right ☺️) he was he gentle but efficient. He also explained everything he was doing as well as tips on how to make my teeth and gums healthier at home. The dentist is also great- he pops in, gets in there and checks everything- he always seems kind, engaging and I never feel rushed or over sold on anything. You have definitely gained my trust and earned my business ☺️ Side note- I work in a client relationship industry myself and something I’ve noticed both times is how this business feels like a team atmosphere. Everyone is constantly checking in with each other and offering help if need be. Maybe this is why you feel good vibes at this location- everyone seems really supportive and happy to be there. From the time I walk in to the time I leave I feel happy to be there.... honestly I never thought I’d say that about going to the dentist!

I’ve never enjoyed going to any dentist office, most offices make me feel un-easy and always seem to make the billing complicated and confusing. I rarely write any reviews for any service let alone the Dentist.This office is different, the friendly and informative Administrative & Dental team made the entire experience enjoyable (as enjoyable as a Root Canal & Crown can be) and easy. The billing was well explained and I’ve been very happy with the services received.

I have been coming here for a few years and everyone that works here is so nice! I used to have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist but they help me feel so comfortable when I’m there. I never hesitate to ask questions and trust that they give me their honest thoughts on treatments without feeling pressured to spend more money.

They were very courteous and accommodated my needs in a very short time frame.

I had a chipped front tooth that I chipped by trying to take off the cover of the plastic on the potato salad cover. Anyhow, they saw me a few days later and he REALLY did a very good job, with my insurance it cost me $142. out of my own pocket. And it looks very good. They were fast and efficient and I am really happy about the way it looks, I brought the Dentist Flowers in a vase 2 days later. I picked them out of a garden. I hoped they liked them?

I had the best dental hygienist I have ever had yesterday- Keisha provided an exceptional cleaning and gave a physical of my jaw and neck checking for other diseases just to be proactive and double check. Needed a deep cleaning and without insurance. Instead of up selling me they gave me exactly what I needed. It was refreshing to know they tailored a treatment to my needs.

Though I’d fat-fingered the wrong appointment day in my phone, their crew went way out of the way to squeeze me in, just before lunch no less, and could not have been more courteous in doing so. They’re always just great! Keep up the awesome work.

This office has been such a blessing. Since BLVD took over, I have had nothing but great experiences and worked with caring staff. I even live by another BLVD office and still drive to 5th due to how great they are (not slamming the other office as Ive never been there, just my experience). I am a born and raised austinite and have been to many different dentists over my life here. The hygeinists and assistants, as well as the dentist, are always very attentive to detail. Everything is always explained and the work is performed very comfortably.As someone with anxiety and general stress about going to the dentist, this is the place that fixed that for me. They even gave me a complimentary n95 mask when mine fell on the floor. Clean, well maintained office and dental exam rooms.

Dr Cummings is a great dentist. He also sees my 18 month old son as well. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.

Going to the dentist isn’t my idea of a good time, but my postpartum puffy gums had me worried enough to go ahead and book an appointment. Loved the easy online booking and I didn’t have to wait for an appointment. They were quick, friendly and professional. The office is nice and parking is plentiful. Would definitely recommend!

The office is new and clean and all of the staff is helpful and friendly. Ive been 3 times during COVID for necessary work and, despite my anxiety about this, Ive felt safe. Everyone in the office is wearing masks (except for patients in the dentists chair), they are taking everyones temperatures on the way in, in addition to having patients fill out questionnaires about COVID symptoms and exposure, and there is hand sanitizer everywhere. My one and only complaint is that my appointments have consistently taken longer than what Ive been told to expect (a 2-2.5 hour appointment actually took closer to 3.5 hours, and so on), which is a challenge for planning around work.

Dr Cummings is a wonderful dentist. I had to have a tooth extraction and with the holidays coming up, time wasn’t on our side. Dr Cummings stayed in touch with me through text messages the entire time and then took care of the infected tooth with no complications. I would highly recommend them!!

Dont go here. I have never written a Google review before but feel compelled to based on the experiences I have had at this office over the last 6 months.I went in initially for a cleaning and was told I had one cavity that I needed filled. I came back in a few days later and was worked on by another dentist who could not find the cavity that Dr. Cummings had previously identified. After an awkward wait, Dr. Cummings came in and found the cavity and got to work. I paid my bill that day and went on my way but felt odd at that experience to say the least.I received an additional bill in the mail 5 months later with no explanation as to what services it was for. When I inquired about it, I was told the old office manager had billed things incorrectly and my insurance didnt cover what had previously been expected. After paying the additional amount, I checked the claim on my insurance website and come to find out none of the numbers match up. Ive essentially double paid for something that I should have owed nothing on.It gets better...during my 6 month cleaning, Dr. Cummings identified a tooth that needed a root canal. This wasnt entirely surprising and I was willing to move forward with it until his assistant took pictures of another area of my gums and told me it was very concerning and looked like it may be cancer. I responded by saying that cancer isnt a word that should be used casually and Im sure that there could be several other explanations. (all I need are gum grafts, which I know, but they were never once mentioned).I called another Dr. this morning to get an appointment for a second opinion and they were appalled that a) I had been given a possible cancer diagnosis with no grounds or basis and b) that a root canal had been scheduled without ever having x-rays taken.I would not have taken the time to write this if I didnt feel very compelled to warn others. I had a coworker go here for a root canal in the fall which landed him in oral surgery because the procedure was botched. I dont know the details surrounding this and cant speak to them but I am concerned at the lack of professionality and the coincidences that exist between the two situations.Be very careful with the team at Blvd Dentistry. Ask questions and get a second opinion.

I was traveling out of town and came down with horrendous tooth pain. I called Blvd Dentistry and they took me in immediately and diagnosed my pain. I was so thankful that they didn’t turn me away because of it being a last minute request. They were so nice and wonderful!!! I would recommend this place with no hesitation!

At BLVD you get great treatment for your teeth. Tgey are thorough and kind and i always feel great about my teeth after my visit. Two whitening options too. And they have never made me wait!

Very professional team. Was leery about going to BLVD for the first time, but my reservations quickly dissolved when I met Juhi who, made my appointment, Cathy who handled my insurance claim, Rachel the Dental Tech and Dr. Cummings who handled my dental care. They treated me like I had been a customer for years. They went over all the details for me and took time to answer all my questions. The office setting was nice. Everyone is very kind and helpful. They worked me in on a Monday for an emergent issue and helped ease my anxiety. Its a bit further than I would have looked, but Ive decided to stick with them.

I was not actually greeted, the receptionist, while pleasant, just asked what my last name and date of birth was. I wasn’t even sure if they knew I had scheduled an appointment. They made no mention of whether I was on the schedule, how long the wait was gonna be or anything like that. No acknowledgement of me being expected or anything. Then they asked for my insurance card and asked me to fill out the paperwork which took a few moments. When they did call me in, the tech actually said “welcome to the practice” but didn’t introduce himself, nor why I was being asked to stand in front of a large white contraption. Eventually I was instructed to bite on a piece of plastic that was wrapped in plastic, after having a lead vest placed on me, so obviously it was an X-ray machine. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Call me old fashioned.Then I was asked to sit in an exam room, fair enough, yet there were three chairs including the exam chair...so I picked the exam chair but didn’t sit all the way down because I figured I would have to move in case I might have to be relocated or something. The room was devoid of decoration which I found somewhat unsettling but I got over it. The music was pretty good, so I jammed out to Rick James while I waited, which lightened the mood. The tech returned to take my blood pressure, which, again, I didn’t know was happening but should have guessed due to the cuff that inflated on my arm, but I’m sorry, I don’t remember getting my blood pressure checked at the dentist before....call me old fashioned.When the tech returned, he instructed me to sit all the way in the exam chair and we discussed the x-rays a bit which turned out to be positive and he made me feel better about my lack of dental visits for the last 25 years, because my xrays looked good. He continued to explain that I would see some new technology since I hadn’t been in a dentists office in so long, which I appreciated.The tech’s tools and gloves had a less-than-pleasant taste and I couldn’t help but wonder, would it be that difficult to make these things taste minty or maybe have a choice of flavors to make the experience more pleasant?The device used to take additional xrays (I guess, another lead vest was administered so again I’m deducing, but was never actually ‘told’ what was happening) was odd in that I had to clamp my teeth over it and while doing so I felt the need to swallow, but was instructed not to move so I tried my hardest not to do so.When the dentist came in, he was the first person to introduce himself, And welcomed me to the practice, which was nice, he reaffirmed the good news that my X-rays looked good. He began to poke around and talked to the tech about their findings and did a good job about explaining what was happening. Once he was done, he explained the treatment plan, then he said Danielle will be in to explain the billing. Danielle came in and it turned out to be the same person who “greeted” me. She welcomed me to the practice again,and was very sweet and explained everything clearly and even complimented me on my insurance.So, I had to schedule a future appointment to actually get any cleaning done, which I didn’t realize until speaking with Danielle, but given my length of non-care, I can understand. It would have been nice for someone to say this before beginning the whole ordeal, but things could have been much worse. I can tell they value “welcoming to the practice” but they could work on their introductions/greeting skills and general intake process, being more informative and asking if the patient has any questions. Call me old fashioned.

This is the 1st time i have been back since the change in business. The overall experience was good and professional/friendly. My hygienist on the other hand tanked my perception of the new staff. I dont know if it was just a bad day or lack of experience but my basic teeth cleaning was very poor. I felt like she was going through the motions and didnt want to be there and just phoned in my cleaning. Dragging the polisher across my teeth like a mop to a floor and placing the floss between my teeth but not even performing the action of flossing mystified me. Since our company is located in the same building several of us have gone and had similar experiences. Needless to say I will not be back until i hear things have been addressed and improved upon.
