Love this place! The staff is awesome. I would go every week if I could!

Although aesthetically pleasing, Pearl Nails is lacking in Customer satisfaction! I am a long time Customer, for over 15 years but in the last 2, they have messed me around with appts 3 times. First time, I had a set appt...but was kept waiting 35 minutes...causing me to leave to be ON TIME for another appt. The next two events, I made appts, IN PERSON, just to be turned away, at arrival time, and asked to come back later on, due to irresponsible scheduling. They must think We have nothing else going on in Our day...WRONG!! They have lost 3 loyal Customers (myself & 2 friends) as of yesterday. Get your priorities straight PEARL NAILS, if you want to stay in business. Our time is as valuable as yours!

This place is awesome. The ladies are super sweet and do a great job. They are very accommodating to walk-ins too. The prices are really reasonable. Ill definitely be back and telling others!

Excellent service.... The ladies here do an amazing job, especially Selena with eyebrows. I recommend calling ahead and making an appointment if you are doing multiple services like waxing, mani/pedicures. Walk ins are better during the week as it is a slower time.

I am super happy with the quality of work and incredible customer service I received from this salon. Kim did my nails and Lina did my brows. Both were very friendly and (obviously) very good at their craft. I will definitely return. I’ve tried 7 places (yes, I’ve counted) since moving to Austin and have not found one of this caliber.

I wish I would have taken before and after pictures of my nails for this review!! I Just moved to Austin from Houston and my finger nails needed some serious TLC! From all the packing, unpacking and cleaning with harsh chemicals my nails were breaking, my cuticles were dry, cracked and bleeding, and my polish was chipped and a mess. Came in for a manicure and the ladies here completely transformed my hands! My nails, specifically my cuticles, look brand new and feel great! The ladies here were also extremely personable. Would highly recommend coming here!!

I wanted to like this place. Only giving two stars because my eyebrows looked good. My acrylics were messed up, uneven, poorly done. And the worst part was watching them be openly racist towards a black woman. They greeted every customer immediately, enthusiastically, and helped them right away. When a black lady showed up, they ignored her for ten solid minutes. She just sat there waiting. Then they pointed to a chair for her to sit in and grumbled “manicure?”, then made her wait around even longer. The nail tech working on her nails looked like he wanted to die. I was horrified. I regret not saying something. She was treated obviously much worse than everyone else there, and everyone else was white. She looked so sad too as time went on and I don’t know why she didn’t leave but again, I didn’t say anything, so I have no room to talk. Super disappointing. It’s right by my house but I’ll go anywhere else to avoid giving them my money.Edit: added photos to show how messed up the full set turned out to be. I have to get them taken off and totally redone. Absolutely atrocious job.Edit 1 year later: terrible experience, but this time for a pedicure. I sat in still water for 30 minutes before someone actually did my pedicure, and by that time, the water was getting cold. She splashed so much water into my shoes, I couldnt even put them on after and she didnt even care, she just handed them to me literally dripping. Bad paint job, no moisturizer of any kind after, and she wanted to know the tip I wanted to add on before charging my card so I felt guilty and tipped her. I feel so confused by these good reviews...

I went to get coffin-shaped nails, and they did an amazing job!! I ended up breaking one within a couple of days, they fixed it for free and changed the shape/length for me for $5. They are so sweet and do such a great job. Im so happy that I finally found a nail salon I love!

5 stars!!! I just moved here from San Antonio and this is my new regular spot!! They did a fabulous job & i brought my 4 yr old & to get her nails painted they were so sweet to her.

My mom and I came here for a gel mani (me) and pedi (her). This was my first time having my nails done at a salon so I was uncertain how it would go, but the woman I was with did an amazing job. She was efficient but still gentle. We came in and were seated at the same time but I was done before my moms pedi even started, so I just loitered in the small seating area in the front for about 45 minutes. Ultimately it wasnt a big deal because the young woman who eventually worked with my mom was so attentive and thorough. We picked this place over other options closer to home because it has good reviews and Im glad we did. Absolutely will go again.

We had a wonderful experience. The pricing is fair and they are honest with you about what you need. My moms toe had a problem and they gave her special care and advices her well.

They are not clear with the prices.They dont clean or file your nails unless you ask.I paid $ 100 dollars for gel nails and toes that are supposed to last more than 15 days, I do not have a week with the nails and I already dropped one and the design is falling

Van did an amazing job on my nails. They make sure you wash your hands when you go into the establishment. Very clean and professional. She is very kind hearted and pays attention to detail. I recommend her. Make an appointment or walk in! Thank you so much for going above and beyond.

This place is a hit or miss with pedicures and acrylic nails. My husband and I have been here multiple times and today was definitely a turn off. Nail shape is crooked, gel polish job is uneven, my husbands skin was cut pretty deep during his pedicure, and I waited almost an hour after my pedicure to have my fill finished. Definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. I wont be returning and now I need to go somewhere else to get a reshape and polish change.

Van and Lina did our nails just the way we wanted 100% recommend no lie.

Been going to Pearl Nails every 3 weeks for about a year now. Helen is the BEST for pedicures. As far as dip is concerned, Van is an absolute ARTIST. As with any establishment there are technicians who might have less experience or less artistic ability. I 100% recommend Helen and Van.

Miss this nail place so close and convenient to my apartment but there closed really do good nails I wish they would open

I love this place

The place is clean and the lady that owns it is beyond nice but both times I have been there I did not get quality work. Yes I tried them again. The SNS manicure that I got is hands down the worst I have ever had. My nails were cut way too short and sides where filed up into my nail bed. I was nicked with the drill multiple times and the skin around my nails were trimmed to the point of bleeding. My nails literally hurt.

Subpar “deluxe pedicure”. It was a basic pedicure at best. Only thing they did “deluxe” was use hot stones to rub on my legs. Massage was not good and the girl cut my toe within 5 minutes and never got it to stop bleeding. I wouldn’t return again and I would suggest trying somewhere else.

Very nice and clean place! All the staff was friendly. Pedicure and manicure was extremely relaxing after working all week and Lina, who waxed my eyebrows, did a very good job. Definitely will be returning! :)

Caring nail techs who do a fabulous job.

The girl who did my pedicure was amazing! She was really gentle with the tools and I let her know beforehand that my feet are super ticklish, but I didn’t feel uncomfortable once! It was the first pedicure I had without being uncomfortable from being tickled!!3 stars because the polish on 4 of my toes have already stripped completely since I got the pedicure 3 days ago, but the girl who did the pedicure would get a 10/10!!!!

Great place good atmosphere

Ive been going to Pearl Nails for over 2 years and Ive never been disappointed. They do a phenomenal job and my schellac nails last two weeks. Jon is my personal fav, but everyone is good.Ive never ONCE seen a display of racism as one reviewer previously stated. In fact, Ive seen a black woman come in and get preferential treatment because she was such a great, regular customer. They appreciate their regulars...of all colors.

So my review is based off of three visits. The first time I visited was with my daughters before Highschool graduation. We had 3 deluxe pedicures, 2 gel manicures and 1 full set. The quality was ok although my gel lasted a little over a week.My second visit I was in a desperate need for a pedicure and manicure with dip polish before leaving town. I went to another salon shortly after my first visit to get a dip manicure. They were not busy and was very kind. I noticed that my nails were uneven and asked them to correct it. She also did not clean the sides very well so edges have small gaps.My last visit I dropped my daughter off to get a full set and found out they overcharged her $50. She chose a glitter color so there are gaps of missing color on her nails.The sad thing is our friends that live in the neighborhood referred us and raved about this place. Sad to say we wont be returning.

Best place and best prices hands down. Not only are they so sweet...they are funny! They make you feel welcome, take their time and you dont feel like a cow at a feed yard if you know what I mean.

I liked her overall job on my nails if it didnt take her two and a half hours to do. She also cut 5 of my nails to the point where I couldnt get my hands wet. It was absolutely terrible. They charge to CUT DOWN your nails. How ridiculous! They love to charge for other unnecessary fees as well. Full of incompetent people. I finally got a refund because how terrible it was. I dont trust this nail salon at all.

Excellent powder dip manicure. Friendly staff. Love this place!

One star is being nice. Not only did I just have to do a week long of antibiotics, I just had an ingrown toe nail removed. Beyond upset and can’t believe I paid them because I’ve spent so much at the doctors to get my toe fixed.

Worst experience ever. I was told one price over the phone and got there and was told something totally different. They over charge regular acrylics by $10 or more. And for what? They suck! Theres nothing special about this place. A week and the acrylics have been chipping here and there the entire time. I have been getting my nails done for over four years and this is the worst place I have gone to.

I honestly wish you could give less than one star because this place was absolutely horrible! Wayyyyy overpriced for such a bad job they did on my nails! The girl followed me around saying “what about my tip! What about my tip!” Extremely rude and never would go back there!
