Very friendly and terrific skills, for taking care of your hair and nails.
I think this place would be great for older women. Its got an atmosphere that reminds me of the hair place in the little town I grew up in. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was about twice as old as me.The stylists are independent, so you have to make appointments with them directly - if you call into the main number, they will give you the phone number of one of the stylists, so its a good idea to read the reviews and choose someone ahead of time. Also, you have to pay by check directly to the stylist, and I think all the stylists are $50 for a womens cut. That was my main problem with the place - it didnt seem like a $50 hair cut. It was boring, without the fancy layering and attention to hair texture that they give you at mid-range salons. It felt like a $30 hair cut. I think youre paying for location, which is convenient. But if you youre under 50 and live in the area, I suggest Luster Hair Salon. There it is $45 for a cut, and they offer a much more professional experience.
I really stumbled across this salon-although I work right across from it.You really have to go see Alex- he is a real magician when it comes to hair. I have been to several high end salons in Austin and he pointed out their mistakes. His cut and color are spot on. I have never felt so beautiful and received so many compliments after getting my hair done.I strongly recommend making your next appointment with Alex Hawkins- he is the best hair stylist youll ever find.
Lance gave me a great cut today and will be coloring my hair next week. So glad to have found this place in my own neighborhood. Highly recommend.
This salon has been at this location for over 40 years for a reason. Easy to book, nice work, recently renovated. One stop shop for hair & nails. I go to Lance & am very satisfied with his work :)
Carole Harrison cuts out of this salon, and shes the best mens cuter in the city.
Great haircuts at reasonable rates
