Nichole has been doing my nails now for almost four years. I dont live in Austin, but will WAIT until I am in town to have them done by her. She cares holistically about the health of your nails and will give you tips on how to get them growing and how to keep them looking their best. I absolutely love coming to her - she is not only great at her work, but just a rockstar of a human. No better place and no better manicure than Amaryllis!

Ive been going to Nichole for about 6-8 months now and can truly vouch for what all the other Yelpers are saying about her attention to sanitation and making sure your nails are as healthy as possible. She doesnt rush and makes sure youre completely happy with the length of your nails, color choice, etc. You dont feel like shes rushing to get you out the door to service another client. Ive been to other nail salons in Austin and in Los Angeles and they often make me bleed because they cut too much of my cuticles. The gel manicure at other places also barely last 10 days before chipping. With Nichole, Ive gone as long as 3 weeks+ without a chip. Im pregnant now and my manicures still last close to 14 days. Ive also had regular manicures and they can last up to 12 days. At other salons, I am lucky if they survive 5 days before chipping. Its all about the nail preparation and Nichole takes her time to do them right.I have a very busy work and business travel schedule, but I still make an effort to make the drive to Nichole 1 or twice a month because I find it worth it even though going somewhere 5 minutes from my house is more convenient.I havent gotten a pedicure yet, but really looking forward to my first one with Nichole in a month.

I tried this nail spa for the first time and I have to say that I am impressed. I had the same person do my nails for years but they aren’t available today and I need my nails done, I’m giving some thought to actually switching to this location, great job.
