I walked in at 6:55 on Memorial Day and was done by 7:35. Lynn handled my basic $30 spa pedicure and did a wonderful job. No pain. Great leg and foot massage, even massaged my knees (didn’t know that was a thing, but it was great). Extremely thorough callous removal and hot towels were included. Massage chair was decent. Dividers were used between the chairs and employees were masked.I think it was the owner that did my acrylic French tips ($35). Great placement. Even powder. No bubbles or chunks left under the nails.

I have gone here many times for the perfect thin, acrylic, oval nail. The women that work there do this- While this salon does my nails perfectly, I absolutely can’t stand the Bible channel on the multiple televisions and the constantly playing Christian music. I’m sad saying, I’ll miss my perfect nails-

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon and I get my nails done every month. I usually go to one spot but decided to come here since i work at the mall. I walked in and the lady literally had to wake up the nail tech from a nap. There was no one else getting there nails done in there and I was the only customer. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they guaranteed they could do it. When it came time to paint my nails they told me they didn’t have the color and could get it as close to the picture as possible- even after they told me they could do it. After spending $70, and THREE DAYS LATER, two nails broke so easily. I went into the salon and they told me I had to wait 30 minutes for the same tech, SO I did and walked around the mall. 20 min later I got a call that the tech was leaving for the day and i wouldn’t be able to get my nails fixed. I was livid and just went elsewhere

This place seemed to be a nickel and dime place I didnt get my nails or feet done but everything I asked about they charge you for this charge you for that charge you for this charger for that too much for me

Omg best nails I’ve ever had!! Tiffany gave me exactly what I asked for and did better than I imagined !! And she was so sweet while paying extra detail. Oh yeah and I’m writing this 30 days after I got them and they stayed in that long 😳

I got a Gel mani pedi and am very happy w results and application and length of time it took. The service was genuinely kind and happy. I recommend and would go back.

I love this place, been going here since it was called “the day salon and spa” in 2015. i have gotten a few bad manicures here, but that’s normal for a place with a language barrier and they are always very apologetic and fixed whatever i needed right away with no charge. they know me as a regular by now & they feel like a second family. give this place a chance! ♥️

I visited Austin and wanted to get my nails done and although they look decent from a distance the quality definitely does’t match the price. They charged me $50 for a gel acrylic set. Back home with $50 I can get rhinestones or nail art for the same price and definitely much better quality. The coffin shape looked more of a stiletto and even worse my thumbs were too different lengths and shape. My nails ended up having small bumps and one had a small brush hair. He used a makeup powder brush to remove the dust. The place was a little crowded had to go all around to get to the sink. I must say the staff was friendly and very kind and offered me a drink. I wish my nails would’ve turned out just a little better. Very bummed about spending $50 on a set I don’t feel comfortable in. Would not recommend, or at least not the man who did my nails.

If i could give this place 0 stars i would. The guy that did my nails was so rude to me and wouldnt listen to how i wanted my nails shaped and did oval when I wanted coffin. Then he charged me $5 for long nails when I asked for short nails. They looked terrible so I came back and had someone else shape them better and she cracked my nail. Moral of the story there are way better nail places to go to.

My first time at this place was bad . I had a manicure and a pedicure the nails were not even and had lumps in them and the pedicure the water was too hot whenever changed the lining and on top of that they put a wet towel in the microwave and wrapped it around my leg and burned me badly and at the end of the day knowing they burned my leg they still charged me $80.00 dollars Im seriously thinking about sueing them

Worst set Ive ever gotten. She literally finished in less than 20 minutes. She gave no manicure just applied the nails very sloppy. These nails were done 24 hours ago!! Total waste of money

I had the worst experience at this nail salon. I thought it was convenient to get them done at the mall, but it was the worst manicure experience. I had acrylic nails on before, and I got them removed at this salon. The manicurist clearly realized I was in pain so she soaked my nails in acetone for at least 10 minutes. Even after that didnt work, she wouldnt stop trying to remove it until half of my real nail tore off and there was blood everywhere. Plus they overcharged me and didnt offer to fix my nail later. Aside from the blood, I left with the worst shellac manicure -on nine nails- Ive ever gotten in my life. DO NOT GO HERE

The gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming! I was seated promptly. My Nail Tech Cindy was kind, precise and very gentle. She did an amazing job. One of the best acrylic sets Ive had done in Austin so far!

Tiffany has done my nails for almost 12 years. She is the best and I have traveled all over the world! Always come back to her before and after trips! The place is clean, welcoming, in a great new location in Barton Creek Mall just outside Penny’s.

I have been to much better nail salons!!!. This lady did not take her time, the massage was horrible, she was not gentle, did not scrub my feet very well. The lady that serviced my husbands feet did a “little” better. I personally think it’s all about how many people they can get in to their shop and how much money they can get. I will NOT be coming back here when I visit Austin again.

Even though this nail salon is not a fancy one, the girls there do a really great job. There prices for their services were a tad lower. The girls were also really nice and the owner was friendly too.

In town for a business trip, I was a walk in on a slow Sunday afternoon. The technician was very pleasant. Her English skills were good, as were her manicure techniques. She took time to perform the manicure, including proper cuticle trim and attention to detail in shape & length. I asked for a gel polish, which I received. I noticed right away that the polish had been thinned out & I commented that I would like a polish that had not been weakened. I was assured that with extra coats the polish would perform well. That was not the case, as with the first week, the ends of my nails showed and the effect was dirty looking nails.

Its not the most glamorous nail salon but thats okay! What they lack in fancy decor they make up for with skill and customer service. I had a gentleman whos name I did not catch do my manicure and he was excellent, my nails look beautiful.

I went here with a friend, thinking it would be convenient to go here because it was in the mall. They told us they could service my friend and I, They finished my friends pedicure and I asked them when they would start on my nails, they’re were about 5 people working and they all said they couldn’t do mine because it would take too long or that they were going home. If I would have known that I would have went somewhere else and when they told me they couldn’t do mine it was too late to even go somewhere else.

Had to ask repeatedly if they had a color for my toes that would match the gel color on my fingers before they even got up to check if it matched. They tried getting me to change the color I chose. FOR MY WEDDING, so that it would match the theme. Rude. Ridiculous. Finally someone asked if I would wait so they could “go find” the color that matches at another location. Would not recommend. We didn’t even stay to have more done. I told them I would pay for the pedicure and foot massages but I did not want anything else done. Seriously the worst experience ever

Worst full set I have ever gotten. I got my nails done at this Salon on October 19th and the artificial nail started to break off that following week after. The nail tech made the acrylic super thin. its not even time for a fill and 3 nails have broke off. $60 down the drain. I was just visiting austin but i will never go to them again when I come back to visit.

This is the only nail salon I will go to for my pedicure with Nancy. A lot of the workers moved up from the nail salon that was down stairs by the Nordstrom to this one and I am glad they did. They are all so nice and I enjoy being in there.

I have been going to Lamour Nails for about 15 years. I have never had a bad experience. Lily is incredible with acrylic nails. They never break, split or start to feel as if they are coming off. I would call her an artist.

This place changed ownership sometime in the last two years and quality has gone way down. I went in for full acrylic set - instead of using a brush to apply acrylic powder she just painted my nail with the liquid and dipped my nail in the powder twice. They pushed hard for powder color instead of gel too which I eventually accepted but with only two coats of acrylic and two coats of powder color my nails were left flimsy and uneven. Within a week they started to pop off. Honestly I could do better with something from Walgreens.

I’ve gotten a pedi here many times by the ladies they all do a wonderful job! Recently I got the male nail tech. I have to say was the worst service I received since I’ve gone there! I believe his name is Ken/Kenny (only male nail tech) he was careless. I had acrylic nails on which I wanted soaked off as I requested when I checked in. When I sat at his station he was just going to try to pull them off with tips. I told him I wanted them soaked off he replied that it would take to long. Mind you it was a weekday & not busy at all! Even if they were I’m paying for your service so I should get what I request no questions asked! The color looks horrible & lumpy! When it came time for my pedicure I don’t even recall him scrubbing my feet! I will never allow him to touch my hands & feet again! I don’t recommend you do either! I didn’t complain paid for my services & even tipped, but he didn’t deserve it!

They were rude and the prices are too high for a fill compared to every other nail salon. The Quality does not match the price you pay. You’re lucky if your nails are done right and not crooked. Worst experience ever would NEVER recommend going here.

If Youre thinking about going here, please rethink your decisions. This is honestly the worst manicure Ive gone in my entire life. I went in for a fill with gel I spent like $45 there, my nail Tech did not speak to me she talked to her coworkers, she did not shape my nails exactly the way I want them and a couple of them are crooked, not even 24 hours after leaving the salon my gel was peeling off. I told her multiple times my nails were messed up and she said it was my fault. The nail Tech in the chair across from me not the 1I was at, but behind her kept shooting me really dirty looks and then Talking. When I went to check out the girl at the front desk was eating food and talking with food in her mouth and playing on her phone. I called back today to see about getting a refund or something, and the man who answered the phone said that the only thing that they were able to do was to have me come back in and get it fixed. He said there was no other way he could help me, so now Im out $45.Judging by my experience are today I will not ever be coming back here, so I went to another salon and they fixed it for free. Do not go here.

Today was the third time Ive been there ..the 1st time the lady did a great job and listen to me on what I wanted ..she was great ..wish I remember her name. Two weeks later I came back for fills and I was charged $40.00 when it said on that sheet they tell you to fill out states $23.00. They lady was very quick I thought wasnt right. As soon as she was done I was moved out of my chair so someone else to be there. First time wasnt like that. Well within 24hours of my service there the acrylic started to seperate from my nail starting from the cuticle work to the end of my finger tip. Then they started cracking. This time I go there to show them what going on hoping they will fix the issue and get my nails filled in. I had 2 broke nails that needs repairs. They just fell right off I didnt even know they it happen. The guy behind the counter had me fill out that sheet and then was told it will be 5 mins. I was okay with that its the weekend. Well I stood by the rail in front of the entrance of LAmour for 30 mins, then sat on the bench close to there. Well after a hour I started noticing new customers where going in and they were getting service as they walked right up there. While I am still waiting. At one time there was 3women and a man at the counter just talking ..the guy said something and pointed at me then they walked away. Not once did someone come to tell me it was going to be a little longer or hey we forgot about you. By then 4 more nails just fell off. I just got up and walk away from LAmour. I hope as the owner of the place needs to really get the staff on the same page. I really feel I was ripped off and hoping yall would make right on this mess up I wanted them fixed not my money back .But thats not what is being presented at this place. You need to have everyone that works there watch Give Them The Pickle. I hope the owner reads this and makes right to the wrongs that is addressed with post !

Front receptionist is absolutely terrible!! Ignored me when I was stating what services I wanted. I left shortly afterwards. Never a good idea to be rude to your customers as soon as they walk through the door. They lost my money.

First time being here not bad at all nice and friendly people the lady that help me ask me if i want water or soda to drink i I say no but then I saw glass of wine so i was for one and she she was so nice to give me the wine but the other lady that helped my wife shes even mail for her anything that was not nice at all on top of that my wife shes a regular customer I was surprised that they didnt offer her anything.

I went in for a mani/pedi with my GF and was greeted by the nicest front desk. She asked me for water and was very polite. The service was great and made me feel relaxed. Now my nails are nice like my girls ;)

If you enjoy getting different pricing everytime you visit a business and ask for the same service- then go here. This nail salon is clearly not doing well financially if they feel the need to do this all the time. If you catch them on a good day, theyll price you accordingly based on their pamphlet. But other wise, they use their language barrier as a defense mechanism to not explain why they are charging someone 5-10 dollars extra on a basic manicure. Point is, this place lacks price uniformity. One day theyll charge you 0 dollars to take off your shellac, and other days they charge you 10 dollars (plus the new shellac). Other days theyll charge you to put on a fake nail, and other days they wont. They also never ask people what services they want and purposely give the client the most expensive service. For example, if you ask for a regular pedicure at the front desk, the technician will purposely use her language barrier to misunderstand it for you getting a delux pedicure. This all just makes the experience very uncomfortable. Also, the ladies that work there are always arguing with one another as a client is relaxing getting a pedicure/manicure.

I got my nails done with pink/purple colore and glitter, but since I work in retail I have to constantly touch clouthes and hanging racks,so the color came off soon enough the glitter came off,I went back to the nail salon a week later and they were so sweet to me asking if my hands were damaged in any way if I wanted a hand massage and a different color,I ended up just getting my nails deciliter for only $15.00, at any other nail salon it’s like $25-$30 soo.. yea I got a good deal and since I’m a member I also got the 15%off. So I recommend this place!! 👌🏽👌🏽

I walked in, first time client here. ..five days later nail infection that spread quickly from tissue infection into my lymph nodes! I visited minor emergency trying to get it under control then ended up being admitted to the hospital for 2 days, out of work for 10 days. .....i have tried to contact owner/management, no return call. Im left wirh medical bills...it was the most painfully, expensive manicure of my life!

Brought this girl that i like that makes me use logic which kind of hurts my brain. But excellent customer service the worker rebekah actually convinced her to try to learn vietnamese. But i felt sorry cause the one i was treating to a spa day made rebekah work hard on choosing colors. But other than that, great service, great price, friendly staff. The worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I went and picked a red shade. The lady doing my nails ended up painting my nails in a pink shade, I stopped her multiple times to tell her it was the wrong color. She continued to paint my nails with out a care. I will never go back again.

I have been going to LAmour Nails since 2001. Theresa, the owner, makes sure the shop is clean - exceptionally clean - this is very important to me and makes sure you are happy when you leave. I go for manicures, pedicures and polish change. Every Nail Tech is great! I use Rebecca and have used Amey, Lisa, and Lilly when Rebecca is on vacation. This is the place to go to be pampered, relax and walk out looking good. This is the place to treat yourself to a pedicure and manicure. While relaxing in the massage chair you will be offered a beverage of your choice. You can make appointments or just walk in. They will accomodate. I love this place and the people in it.
