The place was busy but socially distanced. All the nail techs were nice and pleasant. My tech did a very good job on my pedicure. My feet are still soft today and my color still bright.

Nice people. They do good work. have gone twice in the last few months and each time with an appointment. First time I waited 20 minutes, I gave them grace. But the second time, I left after waiting 25 minutes. No one said anything about there being a wait. Why have an appointment? Called another place and they got us right in.🤷🏽‍♀️

I have always wanted to get acrylic nails done and my daughter had not had her nails done before. We found this one just driving in the area and I am so glad we did! Very clean and welcoming. Everyone is so nice. I had Sam and my daughter had Phil. (I hope I have their names right) We went again a month later and I had someone different, and my daughter had Phil again and she was so glad he was there. He is so nice and so funny. Very professional and we are very happy with our nails. This is definitely our new favorite thing to do together and permanent nail salon that we highly recommend.***Update on my review Jan 2020 - I have had a different person each time I went but the person I will never forget is who did my French tips with the powder. She is so gentle and takes her time and really knows and loves what she does. She is the best I have ever had and I am so happy that I got to have her do my nails again and will always have her Everytime from now on. Paula is the best!! I saw on other posts that I am not the only Paula fan. I absolutely love how she did my perfect pink for Valentines shade and I never had the pointed before and have always got just round for a natural look and she did them pointed round and I love them! She is a very cool fun person. Very talented and really does magic. Highly recommend asking for Paula.

I walked in on their busiest day and they still graciously accommodated me. The lady who did my nails was very thorough and took her time to do a good job, even tho they were so busy. Very good experience!

I got the basic pedicure here and acrylic nailsI definitely think the pedicure was worth it. Very relaxing and they do a great massage. Super happy with how the cut my nails and were not afraid to get out that grater for my horrible heels.The thing I wasnt that happy with was my acrylic nails. Granted this was my very first time getting acrylic done....but I watch a serious amount of Nail Career Education on YouTube, and I dont think Suzie would approve. I didnt want tips because the glue gives me contact dermatitis unless its applied perfectly and no glue gets on my skin. Well, glue got on my finger and its causing issues. I guess they couldnt do acrylics without the tips? I tried asking if they could use forms to build the nails but I guess they didnt understand? Next thing that bothered me was the application of the powder was so THICK. Like so so thick. Right up to the cuticle (which also they did not push back or clean up my cuticles at all) . They did slightly clean up with the e file, but I still feel like the cuticle is too thick and when this grows out I can already tell its going to look bad. Another thing was I wanted a French set, I told them up front. They said they would have to take the white really far down to cover the tips...because they used a clear acrylic instead of cover pink...you know, to cover the fact that there are tips underneath. Fine, I asked for a V French to make it look less weird with so much white but again they didnt understand what I was asking for.At the end of the day, I dont hate the nails. I just feel like they were done poorly/very sloppy and could have been better with just a little more care and technique.

I have been visiting this salon for a couple of years and only wish to give them my business, even after moving just north of town. All of the staff has been super friendly, it’s a clean and pretty atmosphere without being pretentious, and I’ve always had a quality service experience. If you’re not completely satisfied with your experience at other salons and are looking for a place in the north austin area, you should definitely try this spot.

Ive been going to the Nail Bar in the Arboretum for about five years, and I have always had a good experience. They are very friendly, clean, professional, and Ive ALWAYS been happy with my mani/pedis. They do get busy, and sometimes ask you to come back, but thats to be understood. The owner and everyone who works there are very nice people.

Came to town for the weekend to visit family before vacation and ended up randomly picking this place so my mom could go shopping next door while she waited for me. So glad I did because this was the best nail salon. Newly renovated and very clean. They gave me a strawberry margarita while I soaked my feet and waited for a nail tech.Ms Kim did my pedicure and French tips and did a fantastic job. She really took time on everything.Ms Paula did my manicure and more French tips with gel. They look perfect.It was a wonderful experience overall because they both worked at the same time. Paula brought over a portable table while Kim worked on my feet. So efficient. And they were both so friendly!I really wish I lived in town so this could be my go-to place, but I will definitely recommend to my friends and family in town.

I loved this place. Went with my 2 girlfriends and we all did the hot stone pedicure with gel manicure. The Ladies finished all three of us in less 2 hours. They also interacted with us during our conversation.

I have had dip, shellac and a pedicure done here. I’m newish to Austin and this place reminds me of the nail shop in HIghland Park that I exclusively visited for 10+ years. Relaxed atmosphere, attention to detail and the ladies working are so sweet!! Lynn is the best.The manicures have always been wonderful but the pedis are what I judge on and again, great attention to detail...LeeLee massaged my legs for what felt like forever and got all the cuticley and callously bits that others have overlooked. $65 for a shellac mani and pedi which is very reasonable in this neighborhood.I finally found my nail ‘home’!!

The salon is neat, elegant, cozy, with a lots of improvements:new and comfortable pedicure chairs, new colors. All is clean and sanitized. The owner, Lihn, is outstanding, very attentive to clients preferences, very respectful. She is exceptional at removal of ingrown nails.Majority of other staff is courteous, and they all do a good job.The only critique and recommendation I would make for the rest of her staff ( Paula), is to drop the mama way of addressing the client, as it is unprofessional and disrespectful. This might work with their collages and friends but I guarantee that none of the educated, high end class population would enjoy being addressed this way. In addition, other inappropriate jokes or comments should not be included in the menu.On another line, clients feel more comfortable if everyone around would be talking English. Speaking to one another in Vietnamese during a pedicure might prompt the client to believe that they are talking about him/her .Other than that, it is a place with great potential, I would not change it with another place . Please incorporate the above-mentioned suggestions so your place can become indeed number #1 salon in Austin .

I have gone to this salon for a while and have had problems only twice when getting pedicures. Both times she cut too deeply into my cuticles and I had redness a couple of days later around the spot. The first time, the redness went away without trouble. This time Ive had to see the doctor and get an antibiotic for an infection thats causing pain and redness. Thats the last time Im going back to this salon. She was unnecessarily aggressive and Ive had it.Edit: The manager called me, offered to be the only one to take care of me and $35 on my next appointment. She also spoke to the employee. I took her up on the offer and am pleased with the care I received. I’m staying with them

We casually strolled in here on an evening after eating at honest Mary’s and we’re delightfully surprised but the service, quality and care from LinLin and Paula! We did not realize that they were closing soon but they didn’t say a thing - they sat us down and handed use a cold glass of white wine! The service was detailed and we laughed and laughed at fun stories and shared experiences with both of the ladies. We found our new nail spot! You will not be disappointed. (I got gel nails and an eyebrow wax, my friend got dip nails)All around amazing experience!

This family owned business is so delightful and the entire staff are friendly, caring and gentle!!!I happened to be there on one occasion, when it was the owner’s Birthday(Miss Lyn)!!! They invited me to stay and have a Vietnamese dinner with them (PotLuck)!!! How lucky for me and such delicious food!!!The Salon & Spa is BEAUTIFUL and so relaxing and they have the BEST MASSAGE CHAIRS!!! I always get the Hot Stone Pedicure and Gel Manicure and am always pleased!!!

I suggest call in a head!One time I came here and they were so busy and I asked Lyn if she could get my eyebrows waxed for me. She said ok. :)She was so busy and she told me to come back and pay later! I was like really ? I been coming here a lot and I think she trust me enough to do that. But still, nowhere else would have done that.I really do love this place and hope they will get more business here. A lot of colors and friendly people working here. My go to salon was busy at the time and I really wanted to get a pedicure, so I tried this place. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend Linda or Nancy!

This little gem is under new ownership, so previous complaints don’t apply any longer. You really need to go in and see Miss Linda, Nancy, Holly and Kevin, they are delightful, eager to please and are very professional and pay quite the attention to detail. I would give them more than five stars if they were available. The prices are very reasonable and the salon is absolutely gorgeous. No wait times and hospitality galore!😊

This place is wonderful; the moment you go in it strikes you as clean, lovely decorated, peaceful and welcoming. I had a simple mani with Holly - she was highly professional, smiley, with a light touch and meticulous attention. Her tools all sterilized - which is important in this corona season... This was a walk-in visit; I was accepted on he spot. This salon has many other services which I did not try this time (pedi, SNS, brows, facials etc.). I would certainly go there again, and try the other services. The price was very reasonable. In short - highly recommended.

This place is under new ownership, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I have received two of the most meticulous manicures of my life (I’m really picky about polish on the cuticles), great service, and prices are reasonable. They also renovated the nail bar area to a much more comfortable and modern setup. I won’t be going elsewhere. Rarely post reviews, but wanted to give my support to this family-owned business.

New to the Austin area and was searching for a great nail salon! I definitely found one!! A very calm atmosphere, great staff, and awesome color options! Lyn is a genius when it comes to nails and brows.

The Signature Pedicure is amazing! Sign out front says theyre under new management so give this place a try. Friendly staff, tons of polish colors, and they offer water or wine. This is the first pedicure Ive gotten in a couple years, but it wont be the last and I know where Ill be going!

SUPER friendly staff!!! Nancy, Lynn, Lilly, and Kevin were very polite to my boyfriend and I as we were getting pedicures. I had an injured nail and they were all so cautious and considerate when it came to being careful! They are all so sweet!! They even gave me a design free of charge! HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

Very relaxing atmosphere; the owner is extremely customer service oriented, which is refreshing. This is a beautifully decorated salon and I expected the prices to be much higher but they are quite reasonable. The manicurist recommended a color Id never tried before and it was beautiful.

I’m traveling from out of town so I stopped by after chipping my gel mani. Great service and my nails look great. Affordable price as well. Really nice area so walk around and enjoy!

Hanna was sweet, attentive, and did a great detailed job on my pedicure. She also did a wonderful job cleaning up the MESS of a manicure the gentleman gave me... He left polish on my fingers, a thick glob on my thumb, and cut the cuticles on my thumb fairly badly blaming me for wanting more taken off ( of course I wanted the dangling ends taken care of). Make an appointment to ensure a positive experience and great Mani/pedi.

Paula is so nice, she will let you feel at home, and its my first time in this place. I will definately come back.

The guy at the front desk was rude. I had an appointment and I still had to wait 15 minutes when I got there, which forced me to cut my pedi short to make it to my next appt. The smell of chemicals gave me a headache within 5 minutes of sitting in the waiting room, so I went outside to wait, which seemed to upset the cranky front desk guy. My pedi was good and the girl who did it was sweet - shes the only reason Im giving more than 1 star

Walked in during my family’s long weekend trip to Austin. Everyone was so friendly. I didn’t get the name of my manicurist but she was awesome! She did such an amazing job on my shellac manicure. I appreciated her attention to detail. They were pretty busy with walk-ins when I was there but I didn’t feel rushed at all!

DO NOT GO HERE. I walked in for a pedicure and was immediately brought to the back. The lady started my water and left me sitting in the chair with my feat soaking for 35 minutes. Once I FINALLY got helped I was told that they were unable to give me a pedicure since Im allergic to the latex gloves. In my 15+ years of getting pedicures this has never happened. I asked to speak with a manager or the owner and was told that they are all equals.One of the customers across the way got mad since the lady from Chi Nail & Spa forgot to get the calluses off of her feet and forgot to give her the scrub that is part of her pedicure.The employees are rude and have a huge attitude. This place is garbage.

I went for a pedicure they were not friendly at all before I started. Before we started I said what I wanted to have special attention worked on, well it was clear she had no clue what I was saying and couldnt even file my toe nails straight. I got up and didnt even finish the pedicure and while I was waking out one of the managers or someone was laughing. I do not recommended this place at all do not waste your money .

Went in for a pedicure and was promptly greeted from behind the wall and told to select a color. I found my way to the chair area and was told where to sit. As the technician stood in front of me watching me remove my shoes and socks, I stuck one foot into the water and half of my pant leg got soaked. To get his attention since he had began to look off at the door, I said Oh no, it looks like my pants got wet. He looked at me, looked at my pant leg, and carried on staring off. No offer to roll up the soaking pants, no offer of a towel, nothing.As my feet soaked in the luke-warm water-mind you, with no salt or anything-I sat there for quite a bit waiting for him, or anyone, to start on me. 20 minutes later, I had waited and been patient long enough. I asked the technician next to me for a towel, which my original technician overheard and actually handed me one from the back since nothing was set up for my station. At least I was finally offered a towel.

The new owners have only been there 7 months and are extremely friendly, and their services are really good value too.

Just left..... i asked that my cuticles not be done she did it anyway....my feet never have dry skin and she started scrapping themwith the cheese grater and cut my skin and said nothing... and just rushed everything... like the other review I didnt recieve a thorough leg massage 2 sec hot stone... dont waste your money

The staff was friendly, but my service sucked. $35 for something that looks like I did it at home. I got my nails done 2 days ago and they look like they’ve grown out, the polish is dull and chipping. Just not good quality.

So disappointed. Finally made time to treat myself to a mani/pedi 30 minutes later all done! Filing, cuticles and polish were so rushed it looked like I did it myself .... actually, I would have done a much better job. As I sit outside waiting for my ride, Im upset that Im going to have to go get my nails done again!! I will not be coming back to this place. The name on the door is Nail Bar and Spa.

Paula is the BEST!

The place is clean and nice and everyone was really kind for me being a walk in but the work was horrible. I came in for a full set and I knew they would be bad when I noticed he didn’t even push my cuticles. He tried telling me how long I should get them even though I said longer and he cut them shorter than I wanted. His coffin shapes were uneven and bulky. The acrylic got under my nails and was WAY too thick. When I got home I took off the polish and shaped the nails myself. It was hard since the nails were SO thick but I managed. There was another employee who was helping him out and honestly I wish I had gotten her instead of him. Never going back sorry.

Went in for a full set aug.with clean natural nails. Got a fill in sept. In oct had nails removed to find bad fungus infection on three nails. The person removing the nails used same dental tool on infected nails as well as healthy nails, so I had her contact owner. He came in and said he would pay for dr visit and prescription. I reported to Texas dept of license and regulations along with photos. The owner asked who did my nails and I told him Anna. He said they dont have anyone by that name. Anna aka Ti came into the salon for work later that day. Dirty place and when I was angry the nail tech told me to calm down. The owner said that I washed my hands too much.

Did not care for this place at all. Especially when I know there are much better places for the same price.

Terrible. I asked for an SNS manicure to avoid the UV of a gel manicure. They gave me half SNS, didnt have the right supplies, and ended up giving me a top coat of gel, yes, with UV light anyway, which chipped off in the first day. And they were expensive! I wont be going back.
