THIS IS THE BEST NAIL SALON IN AUSTIN. The first time I went in for a marble acrylic set, which they hand painted and designed flawlessly, and this time I got an acrylic set with bright colors and negative space. EXACTLY what I asked for, and the staff is so nice and even offers free drinks. Definitely my new go-to nail salon, I cant recommend this place enough.

The service here is exceptional. They are attentive to detail, accommodating and welcoming. Tina did my nails, and she was a delight. She took her time to make sure everything came out perfect. Nothing but amazing things can be said about this place.

This is my new favorite nail salon in ATX! Katherine did an amazing job on my acrylic set - she was super detail-oriented and friendly. The prices weren’t bad either. Definitely will be back!

I was extremely happy with my nails by Tina! We did a full acrylic set with gel, matte color, and gold flake design. I gave her a picture of the design and she brought it to life!She’s just a true gem — I noticed that she knew every customer that walked in the door and what they were there for. I loved that and it’s definitely not what I see at other salons. I’m so happy I found this place, highly recommend!!

I have found my new nail place. I love how homey it is inside, especially with a big flatscreen at each manicure station. My nail tech spent a lot of time on my nails and was very detail oriented, making sure I was happy with everything throughout the process. Worth every penny.

They were nice but my manicure was horrible. I felt like they cared more about getting us out the door than giving us a good manicure. I asked for dip but my nails turned out bumpy and the edges were rough and stuck to my skin. Dip is supposed to last 2-3 weeks like gel but it started peeling after just a week! If you decide to try them, I hope you have a better experience

I have been at this salon twice. The first time everything was fine, I really liked it. The price and everything was on point. This was going to be my new go to nail salon. The first time I got acrylic filling on my toes with French design and I paid $45. However, the second time I got a full set which is 50$ they charged me $20 extra for the French design on my toes. I think $20 for a French design is ridiculous especially without telling me. I don’t really understand how is there $25 difference between the two appointments.I feel like they just make whatever price they want.Not going to be back.

Bad manicure. Acrylic drip marks left on the tip of each nail, bad shaping, crooked application, sloppy paint work, painful filing. $65 for a lesson learned.

Went to Crystal nails for a dip manicure and the nail tech did an absolutely FANTASTIC job. I have small nail beds, so it’s not unusual for me to get “bubble like” nails when I go to get dip. However, my tech was able to give me a more natural look EVEN with a light color. I was only visiting Austin, but will absolutely be back if I ever visit again. I can’t say enough good about them!

Literally my favorite set I’ve ever had!!! I took these off on august 7 and I got them done on July 4th !!! I took them off simply because I waited too long to get them filled. They were so beautiful and my nail technician was super kind and professional !! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and we talked through what I preferred on my nail and she also gave me her recommendations which I really appreciated!! (The flower was one of her ideas)!! Very fair price for the quality! Not gonna cap… if you like HEB press on nails you do you, but your gonna get what you pay for at both places! These nails felt very sturdy and normally when I get them longer and I hit them on ANYTHING they tend to hurt soooooo bad but due to the way she prepped my nail bed these were very practical doing day-to-day things and didn’t hurt at all! 😁

I recently went for a manicure and pedicure nothing major just a simple French tip and regular polish on toes. They stared both services at the same time and still took 2 hours. I’m mostly upset about the fact I was charged $63 dollars for my nails I feel they were way overpriced. On her menu the price stated 40+The total should of been $63 all together and she charged me $90 all together just take a look at pics and tell me if these nails are worth what I paid?

I live within easy walking distance of the salon, so I have been using it for about 3 years now. I cannot praise the team highly enough. Not only are they extremely professional and very skilled in the wide range of services they offer, but they are such warm, welcoming people, and create such a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere that I often find myself close to falling asleep during treatments. I usually have a facial, some waxing, a brow tint or manicures or pedicures, and am always delighted with the results. I am not a particularly high-maintenance woman, and I have found salons a little intimidating in the past, but I genuinely look forward to my appointments here, and I always come away feeling wonderful. If the corporate big salon experience leaves you feeling a little depersonalised, try Beauty Essense instead. They really are an undiscovered gem in the heart of the city.

I can only speak great things of this salon!! I came in today 20 after 7 and with high anxiety over removing my acrylics due to a nail injury. Tina was super attentive, patient, and kind to my fear and sensitivity. Overall the ambience is welcoming and warm with great service from everyone who works there. Prices are very reasonable in regards to the customer service you receive! - A satisfied customer who will be returning frequently.

Their quality is nice but dont ever bother making an appointment because they will still make you wait over 45 mins without any courtesy, even if youve made one in advance. They did that to me twice.Edited Response: I actually showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment both times, and the 45 minutes of wait time that I complained about was AFTER my scheduled time passed. I was a part of your booked schedule, so I expected to have someone free, instead of forced to soak my hands in acetone for 35 minutes, which left my skin peeling. I never complained the first time I waited 45 minutes because I thought it was just a crazy day, and happy that you were getting good business. However, the second time left me extremely upset because I had told others good things about your salon, and the people I brought were unhappy as well. The whole point of booking an appointment FOUR days in advance is to secure a spot so that I will not be late to other obligations during the day. Please do not give excuses for rudeness and bad business conduct.

I popped into Crystal Nails & Spa after reading lots of really good reviews and because the location is across the street from my apartment. I used to receive regular pedicures in Dallas, but due to the pandemic happening after my move to Austin, I hadnt had one in a year and a half and I couldnt take it anymore (like do I call a farrier at this point? lol) The staff at Crystal were very welcoming and friendly and the technician that did my pedicure did an amazing job. I mean he went above and beyond. I was there for an hour and a half, got the best massage Ive ever had during a pedicure, hot stones, paraffin wax, leg mask, everything. I even upgraded to gel polish and they whole service was $68 before tip. I was very pleased with everything. They also have a really large color selection which was awesome. I walked in and was able to be seen right away at around 4pm on a Friday (I was trying to beat any Friday night rush-I am not sure how it is in Austin, but in Dallas Friday at the salon could be nuts hahaha). I will definitely be back for another pedi soon!

LOVE Crystal Nails and Spa!!! I’ve been here twice now and will continue coming back. The people here are amazing, they do great work and are so kind! They are very accommodating and make sure you have an incredible experience. Today, I got the deluxe pedicure/manicure as well as a micro dermabrasion facial. All of it was amazing. I highly highly recommend trying this place out. You get a complementary drink also (wine/mimosa..) 😍 Thank you to Ken (manicure) and Tani (facial)! I made appointment at 1 there was a person behind me who did not make appointment the nail tech went with the person who didn’t make appointment and mind u we where getting the same thing. I waited 30 min than when I was upset about to leave the owner was like oh ok but when I got upset with her. Told her I made appointment. She was like oh I am sorry so I let her do my nails they where not what I wanted she was upset when I ask. Redo a nail. Not be rude or complain but was not worth 95 dollars.

This is a literal dimond in the rough. Its tucked away in the back corner of a small strip center and im so happy me and my friend found it. Ask for Tina, she has YEARS of experience, super friendly and makes your whole experience memorable. Ive found my favorite nail salon and probably will never go anywhere else.

My daughter and I went there today for the first time. We were presented with the menu which she had talked us into getting a higher value choice for. Pedicure that we had wanted to purchase. We looked at the menu the menu gave us a price for $38 for a pedicure and $28 for a manicure with a full set. We did expect to probably pay up to $50 for the full set but we were charged $8O for my daughter and I $58 for a French set . It should all to face come to a price of about $1180 the most for both of us. She charged us $244 yes& 244. She did not disclose any of the extra charges before she started she didn’t tell us that everything else that normally is included in a package of a set or pedicure. Was extra She never told us that there are extra charges plus she used a nail polish that we did not agree upon neither one of us. And charged us more for that In the end we were overcharged for almost $100 and when I called her out on her deception she blatantly lied into our face even though both of us heard the same and both of us said the same. And my big toe had been cut so short that it actually look like a dodged job .My daughter’s nails set had crooked nails grooves and dents I would not recommend anyone to go there. I don’t know why her recommendations are so high, it must only be that somebody’s people don’t have any high expectations. I feel that she deceived us and that she was suckering us into spending more money than we wanted to spend for the first time in the first placeIf she would be a good businesswoman she would have made some arrangements with us to take some of those charges off in order for us to keep our business with her but I guess she wasn’t interested in that. I hope she enjoys her swindle money from us.What angers me the most is that we never had a choice whether we actually wanted those added charges whether we wanted to spend more . Not to mention the emotional distress caused my daughter by lying straight into our faces and overcharging by almost $100😡

This was the my first time visiting.When i made my appointment, i immediately got a confirmation text back, which i thought was very professional. When i arrived they immediately got me a cold beverage and sat me into the massage chair.My technician was very attentive to my concerns, provided information on services and very nice!Unfortunately, I dont live in the austin area but when i come back, this will be my go to spot!Thank you so much for the great service!

I went in for a simple pedicure and got a man who didn’t know how to tend to cuticles, shapes the nails in a square or scrub the bottom of my feet until smooth; the owner had to take over for him in order for the job to be done correctly. I went here off the ratings on google but it seems that I either got an inexperienced pedicurist, or the ratings aren’t current. My pedicure polish didn’t even last 2 weeks, and the polish was brand new as I always buy my own to use.

Horrible manicure. And there was an employee sitting next to me watching YouTube videos on his phone and laughing, eating, and coughing. It was disgusting and did not create a nice environment.

Their customer service was everything! Very welcoming, offered me complementary wine and water. Wonderful people. I went for SNS with Tips and a soak off before Christmas. The process was easy, I liked that the drill was not used often from start to finish major plus in my book. It was extremely cold,the air was definitely on, so take a sweater! So now for my nails. They have a lot of colors but still less than what I am used to.They looked good, but upon further inspection there were some flaws(I am particular to the small details). First because my tips were not buffed or filed over prior to the SNS being applied I had this bowing outward that was noticeable when looked at up close. Also my sides were not completely covered by the SNS powder so if you looked at my nails from the side it was noticeable where the color stopped. I went with Ballerina shape and it just wasnt as neat as it couldve been. The angles werent uniform. If you look at my middle finger in the pic you can see the bowing and how one side is more straight while the other is more curved. Also I was given a UV gel top coat, instead of an regular SNS top coat, so I had to sit under the lamp. My top coat started peeling into early into week 2 taking my shine with it. Something I never experienced with an SNS top coat. This salon was more expensive than my usual salon but convenient to my job and I was in a crunch. Even though I added tips this go round adding tips at my usual salon wouldve been less than what I paid here. Like I said Im super particular so what bothered me may not be an issue for you. They are super nice and in a crunch as I was at Christmas, I would consider them again but for my go to regular shop, considering the higher price for a lesser quality of work, Ill stick to my Georgetown salon.

Went in to get a manicure and hands massaged while my girlfriend had her nail appointment, which they “forgot” about. During the service one of my cuticles got cut, and after that she seemed to rush the rest of the service. We were there for a total of 3 hours with rude service, not worth the money, and two other guest were having issues as well. Not a great experience at all.

Despite the rough exterior, this nail salon is very clean and the staff do a great job. My nails last longer when they are done here than anywhere else, and the staff is always very friendly. Prices are reasonable, and everything is very clean.

So I waited three weeks after my appointment to really see how they worked out before I wrote this.The tldr version is they are fantastic, but you should make an appointment because they get busy.I got a manicure with extensions and SNS and the deluxe pedicure. Both services were great and super relaxing. The place was very clean and the people super friendly. It was my first time ever having these services, so I cant really speak to quality or value, but from my inexperienced perspective it seemed good all around.I told the girl doing my nails Id never done this before, but was doing it for a conference I was attending. She was super helpful in picking colors and styles for me, all super kindly and respectfully. She ended up talking me in to a color and ombre pattern and I am SO glad. It was not at all what I came in asking for; it was so so much better. They looked amazing and lasted a full 3 weeks, at which point I took them off because my nails had grown so much, not because they didnt look great still. I got so many compliments and (by sheer coincidence) my partner proposed when I had these nails and they went with my ring perfectly.All around great experience. The only recommendation I would give is scheduling an appointment, because the evening hours were PACKED. (I initially came in 5pm one day and ended up coming back 10am the next. Much better choice.)

This started out as a five star review as the service was wonderful! Clean & comfortable salon. The tech took his time on my pedicure. Fantastic & much need leg/foot massage. Received service on Wednesday evening noticed two toes with chipped polish on Friday afternoon. EXTREMELY disappointing as I paid for the mid level pedicure. Tipped generously as well. Do not think I will be back. Oh and I think I was charged for the gel polish as well (isnt that supposed to last?) I live out of town yet travel to Austin about once a month.
