I have been looking for a good nail salon, but could never find one. I read the reviews on this place and just had to try it out. Sam did such a great job and I absolutely love my nails. I will totally be coming back again

Let me start by saying the pedicure was great I have no complaints about it. She found a good color was gentle with my recent cut on my foot. Im leaving a 3 star because Im disappointed in my manicure they do not mirror each other if you look at them separately they are fine but when you put them together one hand has nice long square nails and the other has a shorter stubby version. I personally didnt say anything more in the salon at the time because I had already mentioned that they were not the same length and they suggested shortening the one I actually liked. My suggestion is check your nails yourself after they get done clipping. That was my mistake.

I am not from the Austin area so I chose nail bar based on the general aesthetic inside and good reviews. I was not disappointed! I wanted a marble nail which I’ve never done before but saw examples in the review photos and they did a wonderful job painting the marble pattern on my nail. The pedicure was also incredibly relaxing! Also anytime I’ve gotten dip I sacrifice getting my cuticles trimmed up, I don’t know why but I’ve always been told that you don’t trim the cuticles for dip nails. And my nail tech at nail bar trimmed my cuticles even though I got dip. That made me very happy because that is always a challenge for me to decide if I want my nails longer or if I want my cuticles trimmed. At nail bar I got to have my cake and eat it too!

I go with my wife and enjoy this place. Friendly staff and they do a great job with pedicures. Highly recommend!

They were fast to attend and were welcoming. I explained to the nail tech that this was for a wedding, to please try to make them perfect. At the end I had to pin point very obvious imperfections like gel polish outside of nail that should have been caught prior to light being used. She proceeded to file it with E-file. Ripples as can seen in some pictures. Sloppy job. The place was notbusy- better care could have been taken and less rushing to finish. I won’t be coming back.

Excellent pedicure (nails and massage)

I got my nails done in April in Dallas and really liked the color and shape of my nails. When it was time to get them re-done for my wedding, I called all over Austin and went to at least 3 places that said they did it and turns out they didnt.I called Nail Bar and thank God they did SNS Ombré! Mindy did my nails back on 5/19/18 and did an amazing job. She did exactly what I asked with the coloring and shape. It wasnt too pink and she did a really good job on the Ombré, it was blended perfectly. The length was exactly what I asked for and she kept asking me throughout the shaping process if it was what I wanted. Previous places that I have gone to havent asked me until the end (when its too late). She was really nice and talked with me during my visit. My nails lasted the entire time in Mexico and are still in great shape! No chipping and no fading, it has been 3 weeks, going on 4 weeks. I dont currently have a picture of my nails until my wedding pictures come in but I will post the picture that I was going for and my nails look identical to that!I also got my toes done and they turned out amazing as well. I cant recall the ladies name that did my toes but everyone was welcoming and very nice. The French tip design on my toes lasted the entire trip (Wedding, honeymoon, 2 snorkeling excursions and lots of walking)! I will definitely be going back!

I’ve been going here for several years and am always taken care of. Sam and Mindy are such nice people and accommodating of my nail needs in addition to my kids who love to come with. Free cookies drinks and candy for patrons so they take full advantage :)

I love coming here. Prices are decent and the work is always great. Its also really pretty inside. I had a nail mishap last night with my freshly manicured nail and when I came in this morning they fixed the one nail with no issues. Ill be coming back and have already recommended it to multiple friends.

People were nice,but he made some of my acrylics wide. Like flared out? He piled unnecessary amounts of product and then spent forever grinding it down. Its one of those situations where it took over an hour and a half to do my nails and Im starting to run late. So now I dont have time for him to correct and Im not coming back bc I live on the other side of Austin. Also theres bubbles in the acrylics.

When my daughter visits me we often get our nails done together. This was my first time bringing her here.My daughter was pleased with the pedicure and manicure.I was very disappointed. I asked for the $25 manicure with French tip polish.The water was cold, I had to ask for it to be changed to warm. The manicure was hurried and only one coat of polish was applied.I was promptly set under the dryer and by the next day three of my nails were completely peeled off. Worse job ever.I still tipped her but feel as if it was very unacceptable. I would not rate this as a pleasant experience.

Wonderful nail salon! They offer you drinks and do an awesome job on nails. They even massage your legs/arms and put on tons of lotion. 5 stars for going the extra mile!

UPDATED-So clean. Love the atmosphere. First time and I will for sure be back. Lai was amazing. Couldnt be happier. :)Ok, so its been awful every time since my last review. They suck at polish, dont ask for the gel or sns. Ive been back several times, only to fix my nails. If you want short, stubby finger nails (that are totally blotchy and uneven) - totally come here. If not, save your money.This place is expensive in comparison to most. For BAD handy work. Youll spend more in gas coming back here to fix your nails after the fact.I got the the gel two days ago and I have 6 fully painted nails left. And trust me, there was nothing to pull it off for me. I tried really hard to like this place, mostly because of the bar.. that they never really mention it, never ask and really DO NOT CARE if you want a drink.

My nails have lasted 4 days and now they’re starting to chip. I am flabbergasted, I payed almost $50. #yallsuck

I was in today it took the man hour and a half to do my nails for them to still come out all messed up I asked for coffin nails and well some are square some or oval and some are round if you don’t know how to do them please let them know so that person can chose another shape.

I came in for a mani & pedi. The technician talked me into SNS nails which according to him are better for the nails and last longer. Plus, you dont need to soak them to remove the polish. What I didnt know is that the SNS doesnt include a manicure. He dipped and polished my nails over dry cuticles and skin. They looked terrible.I complained to the tech and he told me that SNS isnt a manicure. He tried to clean them up but they looked horrible. I was very disappointed. Plus, he lied about removal. You have to soak them off too.My pedicure was good.

Always taken immediately. Always get a shellac pedicure and its perfect and lasts for weeks everytime

I really enjoyed the atmosphere but I felt rushed when getting my pedicure even though they were not busy. I also received the SNS manicure, she did an ok job but have to say it was a little messy. I think overpriced $100!!! For both mani and pedi, I usually spend around $80. Will try someone new next time.

I felt very rushed (not relaxing at all) even after having to wait. Then the lady sliced my toe while jabbing my cuticles back. I jumped a little at the pain and she laughed. She then said something in Chinese/Vietnamese out loud and several of the other nail techs looked directly at me. Can you say awkward!?! I will not go back here and would not recommend it! Oh, and btw its the same people that used to own Oasis Nail Salon (very rude staff)!

I did a great job!

It was a firat time for me to try this place. The experience was not pleasant. The massage time was very short compared to the person sitting next to me who seemed to be a regular client. Felt very rushed and not catered.

Would not go again. Uneven nails and $50 pedi is basically a Polish change

Came here about a week ago and one of my nails fell off I want to try to get it fixed AT THE SAME PLACE I GOT THEM DONE and they try to charge me so I went elsewhere and it just ended up being a big O nightmare so I just took them off myself that was my first time going and that would definitely be my last
