I LOVE this salon!! I looked all over south Austin for a quality acrylic manicure and am so grateful I found Emily. I’m at Ava every 2-3 weeks and wouldn’t go anywhere else for my manis. The salon itself is gorgeous and always clean, there are lots of gel color options, and there’s free parking behind the building. Pedis are great too and scheduling is easy. I always get so many compliments!!In the photos you can see my latest set - the acrylic isn’t too thick, shape is smooth and perfect, and no mess underneath :)

This was the outcome of my nails. A very sloppy job. The guy who was doing my nails left in the middle without telling me. Next thing I know a woman comes to do my nails and has no clue what she’s doing. Another lady comes with an attitude and does these nails for me. The black polish smeared because they were in such a rush. Would not recommend. I’m surprised they had such good reviews.

I’m not the type to write reviews but I had to. Although the professionalism was outstanding the quality of the work for the price I paid was not. My nails literally started falling apart that same week and got worse with time. I wouldn’t be posting this if I were talking about the design or shape of the nails I’m talking about the fact that the sides of my nails were not covered up with acrylic properly causing them to be fragile and break easily and even creating gaps between the acrylics and my actual nail. If you’re going to charge that much make sure the quality of your work is up to part.

Just moved to Austin and was looking to find a new nail salon. Emily was super sweet and nice and did an amazing job on my ombré dip acrylic nails. The salon was also very relaxing and clean and they took my at my scheduled time. Parking is also available which is great because of the downtown location. Definitely will be returning :)

Emily has been consistently good with my Dipping powder manicures. She listens to me & always is on time. The online booking system is also very convenient. But Emily does her best to be flexible if you need to make changes to your appointment

My favorite nail salon in Austin! Always love getting my nails done here, I’ve been coming here for over a year, and every time I leave happy. Emily is such a great nail artist, always does the ombré dipping powder for me. Best pedicures in Austin too, even the basic pedicure comes with all the essentials, which I appreciate.

Didnt clean nails properly. They only do eyebrow waxing, which isnt as precise as eyebrow threading. My face was still covered in wax at the end, after they cleaned up. Considering I spent $55, I expected better service. I will not be going back here ... Ill try other salons.

I am new to Austin and work in West Lake Hills. I wanted to get a pedicure as a self care moment and no place near my work had availability. I’m so thankful for Ava Nails. It was so clean, smelled so nice, and the staff were so kind. I sat in quiet while these wonderful ladies let me refocus and get some time to myself. The pedicure was amazing! My toes look so good. My legs from the massage feel amazing still. I will definitely be back and will tell all my teachers at my school about this beautiful place!

I have found my nail place! It’s in a great location, easy to park, and the techs are all extremely talented and attentive. The studio is clean and you can tell they take extra precautions for cleanliness and safety. Highly recommend!

Do not get acrylic nails done here! I live in the area and came once or twice for gel nails and that was fine. I had Apres gel extensions on my nails from a trip to Florida that they expressed reservations about not knowing how to remove properly. That aside, I have been getting extensions for years and know how to soak them off safely and properly. Never has my nail health been so bad - my nail split in the middle underneath the glue and were so thin, they dulled my natural nails so much from rough handling. My nail tech also had to stop in the middle to handle other clients who had come in to have corrections done to sloppy work from this salon. There were also gaps between the acrylic and my natural nails.

I’m in awe of this place. Courteous nail techs. I was swiftly and comfortably taken care of. I was offered drinks. They have coffee, wine, beer, water, AND slushees!! I definitely enjoyed this location. My nails look great and they are exactly how I wanted.

AMAZING nail salon! My first time there, someone helped point me to the convenient and by the way, FREE parking located within the building.They have so many colors to choose from and probably the most I’ve ever seen from any other salon. I came in once with a photo I had seen on Pinterest and they were so happy to replicate the exact ombré design I wanted!Every employee I’ve encountered has been so professional, accommodating, friendly and conversational with me. I normally have Emily do my nails when I come in and she is my absolute favorite!She frequently checks in with me while doing my nails ensure my nails look the way I want them.I would definitely recommend this salon. The salon is very clean, decorated nicely and feels very new. It is conveniently located downtown with free covered parking. The minute you walk in, you are greeted with kindness, relaxing spa music and the peaceful sounds of their indoor waterfall. What could be more relaxing than that!

Hands down one of my favorite salon experiences ever! I’m visiting from New York and honestly can’t wait to come back to Austin so I can drop by again. My manicurist was so sweet and professional and truly took care of me! The space is also so clean and beautiful. Even the bathroom is photo op worthy! I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Anna did a wonderful job on my pedicure. She was gentle but got the job done. The best massage I’ve had in a long time!!! My toes look so cute and my feet look pretty!!! Emily outdid herself on my nails. They look so beautiful and it’s exactly the kind of look I wanted!! They served me a cappuccino (at my liking) twice!! I was so relaxed. The service was definitely worth every penny! Amazing experience at such an affordable price💕

After having many bad experiences with other nail salons, I finally found the right one for me! They did an absolutely amazing job, they were very efficient and professional, I told her what I wanted and she gave me exactly that. Not to mention she was quick in the best way possible cause we all know how long we can be at salons for and it is so frustrating!

A truly great experience here! My nails look great and Lisa, my nail tech, was so kind and made me feel so relaxed. I scheduled an appointment in advance and was able to walk right in and get started. I was out of there for a mani-pedi gel combo in 90 minutes.There is also free parking in the back lot. I would highly recommend this place to anyone - its going to be my go-to after work nail salon.

Amazing! They took their time and made sure everything was perfect. Gel mani - made sure to clean & file any excess polish after for a fresh feel.

I had a very pleasant experience. My nail technician was Ana. She gave me a wonderful pedicure that included a sugar scrub, then lotion from the knee on down. She was professional and talked to me. I got a gel pedicure & she used 3 coats of polish. I’ll be back there. Another plus is they just have music. No annoying TV.

Best nail saloon I’ve been to in the US. They are super clean and the employees are the nicest people ever. I go there every time I need my nails done and they always do it perfectly. I have been having my nails done for over 5 years and this is, by far, the best place I’ve gone to.

WOW! I have lived in ATX for almost 3 years and have given up trying to find a nail salon that would meet my standards for what they charge. They went above and beyond. The amount of service and attention I recieved for my pedicure was amazong. I upgraded to the delux (that is the second one out of about 6-8 options) and it was amazing. I got a scrub, detailed peddie and great conversatoin also free drinks. The manicure was great also! I really enjoyed the entire experience. Will def be back!!!!! ALSO great standards during this COVID time. Everything was very clean and maintained

I get a mani/pedi every 2 weeks and I have tried many places...but that was the BEST that I have ever had. I dont know her name or speak her language BUT she knew her craft.

My nails looked so fabulous! Alex did a wonderful job — better than any salons I’ve been to in Dallas. My husband got a deep-tissue massage at the same time. He said is was great! We would definitely recommend this place!

Enjoyed my time there very much! I got the Volcano pedicure, defiantly relaxing and worth it! Loved every part of it.

We made a reservation for 11 for four and they accommodated us so well! They use bags in the pedicure chairs and open the sterilization bags in front of you. They are very clean and friendly. They did a great job on our pedicures and had very reasonable prices. They had beverages and lots of color options. Highly recommend!

This place is exactly what you want in a nail salon. Is clean, fairly priced, and they do a great job. They have drinks and a lot of nail polish options.

I went in earlier today (about 11:15) and was told they couldn’t take me until 11:45. That was completely understandable, as I did not have an appointment. Because I was on a time crunch, I asked how long it would take to have my fake nails removed. I was told 15-20 minutes. I left and came back at 11:45. He was still with another client. He quickly clipped my nails and put me in a bowl of acetone where I was ignored for 15 minutes. Once he finished his client, he quickly came back, and drilled off the top layer, then stuck me back in the bowl and started working with a new client. I was then ignored for another 20 minutes. After a different guy finished his client, he came over and started working on my nails. I appreciate that he focused on my nails solely and worked quickly when I told him I needed whatever was quickest. Overall, I was there for 50 minutes, despite the fact that I was told it would be only 15-20. No one apologized for how long it took, or even thought to offer me a drink while I was there. Next time, if you’re too busy to take someone, just tell them.
