Beautiful grounds, plenty of parking and shade, dog-friendly. The trails around the complex were great for my dog. Floor plans offer enough space and storage. My unit had a decent sized backyard that backed up to trees, so I had some privacy. Other units have incredible views. Good sized patio. Spacious bathroom and garden tub. Great location! Getting in and out of the complex is easy because this part of William Cannon doesn’t get a ton of traffic. Love going for walks along this street in the evening or morning. Nice views of the hill country and downtown Austin once you reach Southwest Parkway. Easy and quick access to hwy 71 and mopac, so I can get downtown in about 12 minutes. Great nearby shopping, restaurants and an H‑E‑B. And the staff is amazing. Always very prompt in responding to a request and very friendly yet professional.
Summary:- Effective leadership- Attentive and professional staff- Phenomenal maintenance- Extremely grateful to be a part of our communityWe have been living at Lantana Ridge for over 2 years. We originally moved to Austin from another state, broke our lease at another Austin apartment complex, and moved to Lantana Ridge with the intention of a very short stay. Each time we began the move-out process, which we did numerous times, we changed our minds. This is a direct result of the management team, leasing team, and maintenance team. We never experienced the level of customer service we have received here from everyone. Even during Winter Storm Uri, when tensions were high for all of us, our Community Manager, Chris, went above and beyond the call of duty to address our concerns. He even checked in on community members and inspected the apartments personally. Our leasing agent, Brandon, kept a positive attitude and sense of humor, which I was lacking at the time, while he worked to get some food and water to residents who needed it on a day that the office is typically closed. The whole team worked together to bring food and water to our community. Throughout the year, our Assistant Community Manager, Kyra, resolved our inquiries promptly. Our leasing agent, Taylor, handled our lease renewal quickly and efficiently. Our Service Manager, Mark, and Assistant Service Manager, JR, lead a phenomenal maintenance staff that gets the job done right the first time. We are still surprised when Mark, JR, or a team member comes over the next day to handle multiple requests with a warm greeting and a smile on their faces. The level of customer service, even during the pandemic and Winter Storm Uri, is above and beyond anything my wife, our kids, and I have ever experienced at any other place we have lived. There is not a month that goes by that we are not grateful for the people who make this community an exceptional place to live. We look forward to calling Lantana Ridge our home for many years to come.
I dont have any prior experience with apartment complexes, but I cant imagine that there are any better managed than this one! The maintenance guys are fantastic, fast and friendly. The office people are AWESOME (shout out to Brandon!). Ive live here over a year, my rent did not increase after the first lease. Everything is beautiful, clean, mostly quiet, and well maintained.
A good place to live with an affordable price. The employee is sweet, and the response is pretty fast. There are pathways inside of apartment, so it is good to enjoy walk outside.
Had a great experience visiting this apartment complex. Very appealing due to great upkeep and natural scenes. Also had a great welcoming tour from Taylor. Seriously considering this place to move in the fall.
My husband and I have been living here for almost exactly a month now. Even before our move-in, the staff here at Lantana Ridge have been INCREDIBLE in helping make our transition from Oregon to Texas as easy as possible. In particular, Taylor Tilinghast has gone above and beyond in helping support us in our transition prior to move-in as well as any issues that occurred after moving in. Taylor has provided us the best care and has been the MVP for us. The whole leasing office team has been supportive, warm, and kind even when an item was sent to the wrong apartment unit; they navigated solutions for us and made sure the package got to us quickly and easily! The best part of Lantana Ridge is hands down the office staff.
We booked a tour of a 3-bedroom apartment and drove 45 minutes to see it. When we arrived we were told that the unit could not be shown but that instead we could see a 2-bedroom apartment with a different layout and different floor material. We left disappointed that we were not able to see a unit similar to the one we would move into.I understand that a unit type might not be showable but please communicate that instead of misleading a potential tenant to believe they are booking a tour of that unit or a similar one. It was a waste of 2 hours of both my wifes time and mine.
Though its a nice community and has good on site maintenance service. However they increase the rent significantly at every lease renewal. They had mentioned at the time of moving in that I would get gift card of $250 as I was referred by a friend but never received anything. They look for every possibility to extract money from the tenants. I would not recommend this place to a friend in future. Thank you for your response, I am working with one of your associate. Ill update based on that experience.
I love it here so much. The community is so nice. The amenities are clean and well maintained. It is so quiet here it feels like your own little getaway. Great place to live.
I love Gables Lantana Ridge so much! Its by far the best apartment complex Ive ever lived in. The apartments are gorgeous and spacious and full of light, the complex is maintained and feels fresh & clean. The office staff are always friendly and communicative...Brandon and Kyra are lovely. Maintenance is timely and clean (no maintenance people leaving the space a mess after fixing something 💜). There are always wonderful little events going on--they kept us up to date with information, hydrated, and fed duing the Texas Snow Storm of 2021...Today is Earth day and theyre giving away herbs and succulents to residents! How cool is that?!?! Honestly, Im going to be heartbroken when my time here comes to an end. I couldnt recommend this place highly enough.
Staffs are very prompt in response. Surrounding are always maintained and clean. Lots of parking spaces. Good amenities (pool and gym). Neighbors are friendly too.
Excellent location. Quiet and close to places to shop for everything that you need. Lots of eateries nearby. Great pool and fitness center. Helpful and kind staff. Grounds are kept clean and well tended (not too many dog bombs in the grass). Apartments are clean and sized pretty well for the price. Wish the cabinets and pantry were a bit larger. My only other complaint would be that if you have a roommates situation its just a little complicated with rent because partial payment is not allowed in their system. Otherwise this place is GREAT! 9 out of 10! Love it.
Great community. Maintenance is good and staffs are friendly. It is near to most of the good companies. just few miles away from downtown. I recommend it.
Today was my last day after calling it home 6 wonderful years. I will love and cherish this place for the rest of my life. The staff is amazing, the pool is beautiful and your neighbors are kind and quiet. What I will miss the most is the natural landscape from the birds chirping, frogs, grass hopper at night to the rabbits and coyotes that come by. I hope the neighbor apt complexs do not cut more trees, as this area in oak hill is gem and should always remain that way. Thank you Lantana and apt 912 for 6 amazing years that I will never forget.
Nice place, office helped me switch apartments the first week was there and it was appreciated. After that didnt have any interactions with the office, which I find nice. Apartments are nice; walls are pretty thin, neighbor was often hitting walls when they thought i was being too loud. I ended up staying at the gfs place all the time when we were planning to hang out. kind of an inconvenience.. also the bath/shower was fancy but poorly thought out. the sides of the tub are level and often retain the water after a shower and this tends to mildew. you can see where they remove the caulking everytime someone moves out because it mildews. i am sure they will charge me for it. id say slightly overpriced for what you get, but i was in a single bedroom..
I love it here ! The immediate service is amazing and I couldn’t ask for more. The amenities are also breathtaking and the views are mesmerizing.
Been with the community for 2 years. Management, Maintenance and Valet Trash services are a joke here. I havent been informed that my water heater is old and has some issues until after I signed the lease which was fixed permanently after 1 year of nudging.Management never takes residents complaints seriously and are always on the other side of the argument with you. Residents arent their first priority. I have given a lot of complaints regarding Valet trash not picking up trash as per the schedule. I reported sightings of snakes twice and that wasnt taken care as well. And finally they show their true colors when you move out. They are rude when you want to sort things out. And make false allegations on you that you have been warned even when you havent heard a word from them before.I am happy that I finally moved out!
Professional staff, great service, clear instructions and willingness to help.
We moved in during the height of COVID having never met any of the staff or toured the property. While we love the location, the rate and the layout of the apartment, we have had nothing but trouble with maintenance quality of work and the front office completely not caring about our issues. Within the first week, our mirror above the bathroom fell and shattered. It easily could have injured someone had we been standing there. Maintenance never came to clean it up, we had to move giant pieces of heavy shattered mirror by ourselves so no one would get hurt, including our pet. After calling and emailing the staff multiple times over the period of three weeks, we finally got our mirror replaced, but they didnt repair anything it had damaged when it fell. This mirror was at least 40 lbs; it dented the floor, the wall and ripped off the ledging on the sink. None of this has been repaired. After complaining, we were offered a $50 community rewards gift card. Then, after maintenance painted over the damage on the sink, he dropped a wet paintbrush on the carpet and we now have a stain in the middle of our living room. Again, Lantana Ridge was notified and they have done nothing about it. Paying to get the stain out alone would cost $50. It has not been a warm welcome and these are blemishes I would not have agreed to before signing a lease.
We love living here, our apartment has a really great yard that were able to continue our love of gardening and also holiday decorating season which is almost upon us!!
Everything has been amazing since the day that I drove in to see a model apartment. The office staff are all wonderful. I love the parcel pending service that is offered. As well as the front door trash pick up!!! It has truly been a marvelous experience and I couldn’t be happier!
Most, if not all 1st floor apartments have 6 large A/C units 2 inches away outside from the bedroom making it impossible to sleep.Unfortunately, I didnt have the luxury of viewing the apartment/unit in person as I took a new job on short notice. I would not recommend living here as management is only responsive to your needs pre-sales, once you sign those dotted lines, support is non-existent. Look somewhere else, there are 100s of apartments near this area in a 5 mile radius, no reason to settle here.Monthly Fees are bogusDont know if its a Texas thing, but they charge a water bill split among all residents, thats just messed up.Water Bill2 Trash Bills(1 mandatory valet trash service + actual trash fee)Valet service, is trash. Theyre suppose to come everyday except Friday and Saturday, however, Ive had plenty of instances where trash is not picked up for 2+ days. They also pick it up at 1 AM, being obnoxiously loud. (I dont mind tho - I cant sleep remember - 6 AC units on full blast everyday ) - seriously who ever was the brilliant architect that decided to stash 6 AC units outside all first floor bedrooms deserves a raise.Just kidding.Im writing this at 4am.
I’ve enjoyed everything so far the move in was very smooth and Brandon he’s a top notch guy props for his customer service and how he handled the situations we put him trough
Wonderful buildings! Quiet Neighbors! Beautiful view! The front office staff are wonderful and have been kind and welcoming anytime we need to notify them!
Needs improvement, I would suggest to add a kids playground, clean the hallways, to cut and clean bushes, pathways, change bathtubs. Location is good, but there are many things to improve to make the complex competitive with the other complexes just down the street.
We’ve been living at Lantana Ridge for almost a month. We loved our last apartment about 10 minutes closer to the city BUT we really wanted more space and the added few minutes to our drive is barely noticeable.Paige quickly greeted us on a busy day while the rest of the office was helping numerous other people. She was incredibly sweet and ready to show us the complex and a few units after we discussed what we were looking for. When you walk in to a new apartment complex’s main office and they actually greet you and are ready to help, it makes a big difference! I can’t tell you how many places we looked at where it was the exact opposite. So far, Lantana has shown they have a really great team!Paige answered all our questions and showed us around. We knew almost right away that we wanted to move here. Paige and the rest of the team made the move in process smooth & seamless. Maintenance quickly took care of a few minor things upon move in. They’ve all been super accommodating & have helped us with anything we’ve needed, including the logistics of moving in some of our larger furniture pieces! The apartment itself has been very well kept up with and it’s we’ve really been enjoying it so far. The complex is similar to our last in that it feels secluded but close to the city, and has also been well kept up with.
I love the location of the community. Great size and amenities. Office staff is wonderful and always so helpful. Maintenance is quick and professional. Definitely reccomend checking this place out.
Beautiful property. We went on a Sunday to tour the apartment and there was only one lady and she was so kind and funny. We signed a lease a week later and cant wait to move in and enjoy the place more, especially that swimming pool🏊😎
Moved in April 2018 - Maintenance staff is always super quick and leave a detailed note of what they fixed. The staff up front is helpful and kind, and they have late hours on certain days which is helpful. Pay your rent online with no fee if using your bank account number. The pool is beautiful and we always have a great time in the summer. Its a good mix of people there (families and younger people) The complex itself is pet friendly and they have doggie bags and trashcans all over the property, along with hiking trails. The office hosts on meet and greet and special events from time to time which is nice. Honestly I dont see how anyone could not rate this place a 5 stars.
Ive lived here nearly 3 years and truly couldnt imagine a better place to call home. Location alone is a huge factor. We are nestled in the country among trees and nature, but still close to shopping, dining, entertainment, etc. The staff is fantastic- both maintenance and office. Each employee is kind, intelligent and very helpful. They seem to truly enjoy what they do, and that translates to great work. Prices are fair for the area and the apartment upgrades are beautiful. I especially love that full size washer/dryer come included in each unit at no extra charge. Overall Lantana Ridge is a gorgeous property with wonderful staff. I love living here.
I found this place very close to my office. Everything goes so well with my experience at Latana Ridge. The staff in leasing office is very nice and helpful. The apartment is very comfortable.
I really enjoy this complex, its mostly quiet in my building. sleeping hours are quiet, so I cant really complain. The office staff have been great. They do follow the lease to the letter, but they have been very nice, helpful, and thorough. The grounds are kept clean. The maintenance staff respond appropriately. The amenities are great, the neighbors are polite. The cabinets are a cheaper material with resurfaced faces, but they are structurally sound and look nice.
The good: property is very quiet. apartments are in reasonably good condition. plenty of parking. maintenance is usually carried out within 1-2 days. The bad: the traffic at the intersection of 290 and William cannon gets very backed up during rush-hour times (Especially trying to turn left onto 290 from William cannon). You could end up waiting 15-20 minutes at this one intersection. The appliances are a bit low-end (fridge and dishwasher, specifically). Thermal insulation does not seem very good. The AC/heat run pretty consistently in order to keep the place at a good temperature. Can make the electric bill a bit high.Overall: a good apartment if you value quiet and updated units. Just find an alternative commute route if you need to get to 290 in the morning.
I moved from Oregon to Texas and did not have time to visit Texas to look for apartments. I work in housing so my expectations are rather high. I have worked with Kyra since day 1 and I have to stay it has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I just moved in and my apartment was clean and ready. Kyra was responsive with my many questions over the month leading up to my arrival. I will update further after living here longer.
The complex looks nice and feels safe and the units are pleasant superficially but there are issues with moisture and mold. The maintenance guys are all super friendly and helpful and Jessica in the front office is as well. That being said, the manager there (dont remember her name but the portlier of the two) is the opposite: she is rude and abrupt and on more than one occasion I saw her treat the maintenance workers with derision. The constantly increasing rent aside (dont trust what they tell you when youre moving in), her behavior alone turned me off from wanting to live there any longer.
We recently moved to Austin from a 5000 people community! We had been to 4 other apartment complexes then hit this one on the way back to our small town. SOLD the moment we arrived. The staff was amazing!! The apartment was grand for the price!! The community just seemed perfect! Clean, friendly and most importantly homey!!! Been here 7 days and am in love with this place. Its perfectly placed just outside anything. With short driving distance to everything. We most definitely suggest checking it out if you looking for GREAT!!
Love the friendliness of the front office staff. Kyra was my main contact and info guru throughout my moving process and was most helpful and fun to work with. Love the nature that surrounds the property. It makes it feel cozy and separated from the city.
We love it here! Prime location for us, the office team is very friendly & helpful, accommodations are nice & scenery is pleasant. We have been here for about 4 years now & have no plans to leave any time soon!
We thoroughly enjoy our stay here. Apartment is great with a spacious patio facing the greenery. Maintenance is prompt, friendly and good at their job. Kyra at the leasing office is friendly and helped us with the initial move in.
Great place to live. Leasing office members are very diligent and nice (Jessica, Paige and Kyra). I lived here for about 9 months. The service staff attended to any maintenance request almost next day every time.
Quiet neighborhood with easy access to major shopping outlets. Nature and pet friendly environment with friendly staff. Maintenance requests handles in a timely manner with professionalism.
They’re really friendly and the neighbors aren’t noisy. They let you have your dog in the apartment. And the apartment is big enough and feels like home
Moved in a month ago and LOVE IT! Such a beautiful place to live
Moved from out of state without seeing the apartment complex before hand, and was relieved to see that it really is just like the pictures! It was extremely easy and fast to secure an apartment online here. The staff was so friendly, thanks Kyra! The community is nice, gated, safe and well kept. The amenities are actually really nice too, unlike many other apartment complexes. They even have the fancy locker system for your mail to be delivered. Its a quiet area, and the location still keeps all the desirable austin attractions within a short drive. My only wish is that they had elevators, it was no fun moving up 4 flights of stairs. A jacuzzi would be nice for the cooler seasons too 😎. For the price and value though, I would certainly check this place out if you looking to move in the area. The lease terms are really flexible too, we did a 6 month lease which was only about $50 more per month than the year lease 👍🏼Overall, its been a great experience for us and would gladly recommend this place.
I never been to lantana ridge I dont know how I got this review on my maps when I never been
Nice community to live in. Maintenance staff and work is great. They never disappoint in this regard.
Great amenities, great service, great leasing agents. Anytime something broke at my unit, it was fixed right way. I would recommend Lantana to all my friends.
I stayed the in apartment recently.Worst maintenance response I ever had in any of the apartment I stayed. The apartment compound floods while raining and no drainage.I had issues with A/C where room temperature went up to 90 degrees, and their response was very bad.
Lived here for nearly 2 years. The apartment complex is great, affordable and close to NXP, AMD, ARM and other companies. It is quiet, has excellent amenities and people in the community are friendly. I was never once worried about security here. The ladies at the front office are wonderful. I mainly interacted with Kyra, Jessica and Paige. They were always helpful and quick to correct anything brought to their attention. One of the best apartment complexes to live in, if not the best, in Oak Hill.
Nice apartments with friendly staff. Maintenance work is top notch
My new home! Awesome first impression. Friendly staff and neighbors
Been here 6 mos., nice amenities, love the trees, good response to problems.
Maintenance is always very quick and the office staff are helpful. There is always someone in the office and they almost always answer the phone
Spacious, natural surrounds
Do not rent from this company as the management has unfair policies and practices.First, the rent is very high for the area based on the poor quality of the units. Secondly, the a/c units throughout the complex are outdated and fail frequently. They never call professional A/C repairmen, they simply send their 2 technicos to come hit it with a hammer. The apartments are extremely energy ineffecient, so this makes for some miserable summer days. Furthermore, the walls are very thin, and they allowed about 8 people to live in the unit above me with no response when we complained about it. In addition, they are very inconsistent about dog breeds and for months there was a pit bull whom the owners allowed to roam around freely without a leash.***WORST OF ALL though, dont expect to get any of your deposit money back upon moveout. In fact, they will charge you for the slightest of things like slats on the window blinds, total replacement of carpet, tub refinishing, etc. In summary, the apartment is outdated crap with a slapped on new coat of paint run by disinterested management!!
Great experience living in Lantana Ridge, super nice crew
Do not rent here! The management will charge you an arm and a leg for needless repairs and keep all of your deposit upon move-out. That A/C and appliances are awful in this dump, and maintenance doesnt know how to fix them.Oh yeah, the place is also infested with fleas and chiggers!!!
Update after two years: AC breaks once a week.. and they just replace a part, and it breaks again a week later..
Great place to live!
