This is by far the best place to live. The staff makes it even better. They always try to help and are very responsive when I ask questions. The amenities are great and always clean. I highly recommend this place for Domain area living!
So far so good! Very nice amenities and secure parking. Apartment is spacious and the staff is friendly. Very dog friendly and seems like a pretty quiet place. Community center wifi is pretty good for working from home.
We have lived here almost 4 months. I love the unit, we face the resort pool and the train noise is very minimal in our location. The hallways are very dirty and have not been vacuumed or steam cleaned at all since we’ve moved in. I vacuum in front of my unit my own. Other residents don’t follow the valet trash rules. They stack several garbage bags out side of front door 7 days a week with boxes not broken down. Valet trash only comes sun-Thur. Just imagine the smell! Most recently we have found out that there is several residents who are advertising their unit on vrbo/Airbnb. This is a huge lease violation and security concern for me and other residents. We’ve had an uptick in crime on game days and this could be the reason. I sent an email to the office with the link to the “vacation rental”. The only response I got back,“we will look into this further!”Nothing that says I’m so sorry, please feel safe and we WILL take care of this immediately. No apology or reassurance. Very disappointed in lack of empathy, security of the residents and a higher level of importance. This is a BIG deal!
The absolute WORSE place to live! Beware! The luxury Lifestyle will fool you when you first walk-in! However, DONT BE FOOLED; the employees could careless about their residents. The management team are inexperience at managing an apartment and dont know how to remedy situations at any level. They dont know how to talk to people and will make you feel less than!!! How are these apartments the worse at handling their residence, when they are right next to the LOUDEST TRAIN ever! and dont care to accommodate for the residences that live near the train! They have the cheapest walls and you can hear EVERY BIT of the train near by! Dont say I didnt warn you! Prices are going up and their gonna be in a bind if they dont figure out customer service.
An overall A+ experience at The Copeland. Ive lived here for more than a year and the staff plus the experience has been so great that I have renewed my lease. I havent had any issues while Ive been here and the staff has been very helpful and attentive when I have needed something.
Moved to Austin from Orlando. This is actually the first place I did a tour of. I fell in love with how clean and beachy it felt, like I still had a piece of Florida with me even from far away. I also have a weird obsession with new development and being the first person to live somewhere. Pete, in the leasing office, helped me pull the trigger for the big move and I’m so glad he did. He did a great job of following up with me and answering all my thousand questions and has continued to be more than supportive even after I moved in which helps it feel even more like home here. It’s clean, cozy, has great amenities and I love everyone I meet here. All the neighbors are so friendly. In January, I will have been here for a year and I haven’t ran into any issues yet. My cats are also happy for what it’s worth. They enjoy the balcony and I personally LOVE the sunset views from the unit I’m in. I always feel safe and have everything I need. The cute little mud room at entry is a nice touch too. I’m a weirdo when it comes to bath tubs and I’m over the moon for my bath time every night, the size and water pressure is perfect. A nice perk is the connection they have with Spruce so I have someone I trust to come here and clean my place at the push of a button. Also also, if I ever want to work somewhere other than my apartment I can just go downstairs and use the Clubhouse or the little private rooms on the 2nd floor which I really appreciate. Very close to Domain so I’m just a hop and skip away from the grocery store, other main retailers and great restaurants. Also close to the highways if I need to get anywhere fast. Will be renewing next year for sure.
Do NOT live here. I had a package stolen and when I went to office to notify they seemed annoyed and reluctant about my complaint probably because they constantly have people getting their packages stolen. The staircase is always littered with empty boxes of stolen packages. They made me pay for Parcel Pending and never use it. The traffic is terrible during game days. They had the only two available access roads to the apartment complex completely blocked off..I was told I had to wait until the bus lane cleared to be able to get to my own apartment. There is never any available parking in the garage because they didn’t build enough parking spots for number of occupants in the apartment. There is also never any available guest parking and if you try to park in guest parking on the street during game days they will tow your car. Not to mention there’s constantly broken glass from cars getting broken into. Save your money and live literally anywhere else.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. Management is a scam Omar tried to overcharge me for repairs and it’s been 5 months still waiting on the disposal to be fixed. During soccer games I can’t get into my apartment and now there is nowhere to park and I can’t buy anymore passes? Also cockroaches on the 2nd and 1st floor nonstop. And mail stolen all the time
Love to call The Copeland our home! High ceilings, modern floor plans, and lots of natural light is what makes living here amazing. The staff were all great, especially the maintenance team. They were courteous and quick! All the amenities are nice and well maintained. Only complaint is the construction of the new stadium is loud and dusty but it’ll soon be completed so can’t wait for the nice view!! Overall definitely recommend living here!
When I first moved here, management and their employees were amazing. I specifically remember Taylor, Pete, and Krista ALL being kind, accommodating, and helpful during many occasions. Always so empathetic towards their residents during certain situations too, like whenever my car got broken into. However, now they have a whole new team, and the manager Liana Tanaka is not accommodating or friendly. The way she communicates is not how you should treat or speak to residents/customers. I’m in the hospitality industry, and the way she speaks to residents is absolutely unacceptable. I am moving out of my apartment mainly because of the new management. It just isn’t the same for me, and I feel like I cannot go to them for anything in regards to my apartment. It’s sad because I love the location and the unit in general, but I do not like the new management, and they definitely need to make some changes especially now that their whole team has changed.-Sia Cantú
This rating is based just on the exterior and looks, we havent taken a tour yet. It is super new apartment complex right in front of the car wash and it looks pretty modern and well designed. The decor and the interiors are on point - mid-century. The prices on the website are expensive though - Studio ~ $1200 and one bedroom ~ $1500-1700. Take a look. Check out the pictures of the leasing office.
The view of the stadium is pretty spectacular. Its pretty incredible to see the stadium getting built up to its glory. Location is pretty convenient and is walking distance to domain. The amenities are top notch, on top a great room with the view of the pool, Copeland has multiple personal rooms which is great for doing focused work. The gym has a diverse collection of machines and tools to work with, so far the peloton has been my fave. The pools are always clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars for the Copeland! The staff is very attentive and responsive to any needs or concerns you may have. Super close to great restaurants in the domain and some good breweries down the road too. It’s very pet friendly, i don’t have a pup yet, but love seeing all the furry friends around the complex. If you enjoy the outdoors, you’ll love being so close to Walnut Creek for walking and biking.
My apartment is awesome! I love the layout of the apartment and how modern it looks. The staff here are so friendly and nice and they’re really quick to come when you send in a maintenance request!I really love the location of the apartment. Everything is around here, the domain is down the street and if you ever want to go downtown there’s a train for that (so you don’t have to worry about parking in downtown)! This is definitely the place to stay at!
We loved living in this beautiful apartment. Experienced the most pleasing sunrise everyday!! Happy to have found this place and could enjoy the apartment more as we stayed at home most of 2020!!The stadium view from the rooftop parking lot was the best part of our walking experience as it’s big and spacious.Quick response from the management team whenever we had any questions...
I love love the Copeland. From the two resort pools all the way to the quiet study spaces. The cabanas are the most relaxing way to end a tough work out at their gym that also includes a rock climbing station as well as their yoga room. It feels like home, and I’ve memorized and gotten to know management and faculty as they are very easily accessible and kind. Omar is the man with the plan when (and rarely) when you have an issue. Cleaning is top notch. Getting a second friend and resident to move here in 6 months. You can say I’m building a little neighborhood! PLEASE get a tour and check it out for yourself!! :)
Ive lived here for 6 months and had a great time at the Copeland. The community managers and leasing agents are always courteous and helpful. Theres a community of friendly dog owners that congregate at the pup park and the amenities are great. My only complaints are a few things that are out of Copelands control: the construction at the stadium can get noisy at times (they start construction at 5:00AM!) and there is a train that runs fairly often. Overall, the Copeland is a great place to live and im sad to leave this awesome community.
I moved into The Copeland in the beginning of December and I’m impressed overall. The leasing staff is super friendly and Shelby has been amazing with helping me transition into a bigger unit. I wanted to be close to the domain but not too close. The location is perfect. They also make paying your rent online painless and don’t charge ridiculous fees.
I absolutely love living here. Ive been here almost 7 months now and have really enjoyed being here. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and always have fun events or happy hours for residents. My favorite thing about living here is the cleanliness of the common areas and the accommodating staff! Thank you!!
The apartment itself is fine. As others have said the train can be loud at night, but if you’re in a unit on the other side as I was it didn’t bother me too much. That said, the move out process and specifically getting my deposit back has been frustrating. I moved out in January, and now after almost 3 months I still haven’t received my deposit. I called and emailed several times since to no avail, and while they’ll probably send me the check eventually, it shouldn’t take this much effort to get your money back.
I enjoyed living here for a little over a year. As others have mentioned, the train and daily construction was a bit annoying but the property was clean and the maintenance team is amazing! Everything was good until the move out process. Good luck getting your security deposit back from this property/RPM Living. The community manager (Shelby) confirmed on 1/29 that I received the incorrect amount after a discrepancy that was found in their system (I moved in under a different property manager and initially had a different unit). Guess what? After she confirmed that they had made a mistake, I haven’t heard from them since. I have sent them 2 follow up emails (sent on 2/15 and 3/1) asking for an update as to when I can expect my security deposit check but have been ghosted. Phone calls have also not been returned. Mind you I moved out on 1/14/21 so this has been quite the headache. Hoping the management team will finally reach out and help get this resolved.Update: I finally received the rest of my deposit the week of April 5th. I had spoken with the regional manager and she was super helpful in getting things squared away! Thank you
I hope youre reading this review because you want to be a resident at the Copeland. Please join this amazing community! We viewed this community as a drop in, without an appointment. We also had another place to view, so we didnt have a ton of time. Lauren was the sweetest community manager weve ever met. Her warm personality and love for the community sold us on the place. But to be honest, the apartments themselves are pure gold. We saw two one-bedroom floor plans, one which was staged and one which was not.Lauren explained the differences between the two units. We loved both but one felt like home. When we left the property, the next day we had an email from Lauren checking up to see how we liked the place. We were honest and told her we had other places to see afterwards. But nothing compared to the Copeland. The next day, we came back and signed a lease. Shes been a joy to work with, helping us schedule our move, walking us through the floor plan after we signed to help us get dimensions for a decorator. We even saw her at the pool party and she remembered us, made sure we had some great cocktails and a good time.I cant say enough about this community or about its management staff. Go see Lauren, tell her what youre looking for and shell make it happen.
Copeland has amazing house plan and appliances. Their pool view apartment are just amazing. The management is very responsive. And not to forget walkable distance to The Domain and Austin FC stadium. Not to forget it’s Pet friendly and Management holds special events regularly for all the residents 🤩👌🏻Which is super fun. Highly recommend them
Very nice place! Nice amenities, very scenic views with the new soccer stadium in the back drop! Friendly staff, great community and an overall great place to live
This place has been amazing. I haven’t had one single issue, and I have never needed to call the maintenance. It’s so clean and new (: I would recommend to live here!!
I recently moved into The Copeland and I absolutely love it! I am so happy with myself for choosing to live here out of the ten complexes I visited. Safety, cleanliness, and location were my top priorities and The Copeland covers them all. Gated community. Clean hallways not filled with dog poop like other complexes. Located close to shopping areas but not in the midst of them 👌🏽. Right next to the new Austin FC stadium where I can’t wait to attend soccer games! Additionally, the staff keeps it fun with food trucks and happy hours (following COVID19 guidelines), and it’s nice and quiet both during the week and weekends 🙌🏽Update: Now that I’ve lived here longer, I will add that the construction and the noisy trains and metros are extremely annoying. Out of The Copeland’s control, but something potential residents may want to consider. The railroad track is feet away. Metro goes by at least every hour and honks their horn every single time. Trains go by at midnight, 3am, and crazy hours. It’s difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
The crime is celabraiting over here at the Coplend, people from the complex stealing, breaking in cars and the management dont do nothing to avoid that.they know it and sent an Email to all of the residents to be careful instead of finding solution to it.few times we asked for a guard that we will pay to just to feel safe at our home but they just dont care.they making you sign the lease that saying we arent reasponsible for your safety .how i can call it home ?
I’ve lived here for nearly 6 months. Nice community, leasing office and maintenance are timely and helpful.I would give this place 5 stars, but with Austin FC having built a road that segways into the community...miserable.There is only one exit out of the garage, directly linked to the only exit for Austin FC. I spent 15 min sitting in traffic leaving my parking garage, just to get to the gas station across the street. And the traffic seems to be all hours.
The Copeland is modern, clean and has amazing amenities. Love the convenience of how accessible everything is, especially when working from home. The staff is always friendly and quick to answer any questions!
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.NOT SAFE COMPLEX.In the parking garage my car been burglar, all my work tools was stolen.when i went into the office management the lady there didnt even say or feel sorry for me, just told me call the police, like seriously ? you dont feel any pain or guilt ?and of course first words they had to say its not our responsibility.do yourself a favor, dont even think to move in here if your own safety is important for you.
Great facility. Maintance staff is always kind. Enjoyed the covered parking option and quick access to major shopping areas. Leasing staff could be nicer but overall happy with my experience.
Poor Customer Service – We weren’t sent our lease to sign when all our documentation and payment was turned in (we had to call them for it), and it took too long to resolve a wrongly charged insurance lapse fee.Construction – It was shoddy in my unit. There was paint splatter on floors and cabinets, crooked outlets, misaligned strike plates on doors, pencil marks, corner beads showing, COMPLETELY PAINTED OVER LIGHT SWITCH COVERS, cracks in backsplash grout, cheap roller shades, and the lock on sliding glass door becomes misaligned easily. We were the first to live in our unit.Dishwasher – Not spacious due to tower design and utensil basket placement. It has a latch and dial design and does not clean that well. The stainless-steel finish is a poor attempt to hide how cheap it probably is.Bad Pet Owners – I love pets, but this is an issue here. Dog feces on sidewalks, grass, and stairwells and urine in halls, stairwells, and elevators from time to time. Some owners let their dogs off leash. Management also has some blame since they could get someone to pick up this waste when owners do not and have real repercussions for those who are not responsible pet owners. Warning emails every blue moon does not cut it. No one wants to live somewhere covered in feces and urine.Trash Rules – Some tenants do not put trash bags inside given trash bins for pickup, which is gross (that provided bin is not supposed to be your main trash bin, get your own bin). Tenants will walk to garbage chutes and leave garbage by shoots instead of putting it down the chute (If you gave the effort to bring it to the chute, you can just as easily put it down the chute. It is also gross (Exception being during the freeze). Management is poor at enforcing proper trash disposal. There are no repercussions.Cleaning of overall apartment could be better. The hallways, elevators, and stairwells are disgusting and show a lack of care (pet waste, trash, stains, etc).Their newer design choices in areas other than units are a bit tacky particularly in hallways and by elevators.Train Noise – Was not a big issue for me since my unit was further away from the train. Be aware of where you are compared to the train. Not management’s fault if you pick an apartment by the tracks.Poor noise proofing between floors and hallway doors - You can make out general conversations of each unit by standing around a door, which should not happen.Poor negotiating rent in past COVID-19 renter’s market - Slow communication, by the time I received an offer that was considerable, I already leased at a new place that ironically is more expensive.Specific to my unitTerrible Upstairs Neighbors – They have gotten into shouting matches that have led to domestic violence on occasion (but hey, they pay rent, and the people involved do not report it, so it is whatever to the company. Domestic violence friendly seemly). Very inconsiderate and awkward especially if you are working remote or live with someone that has experienced trauma. They also have a subwoofer, which is inconsiderate for apartment living (low frequency travels through walls/floors). They play music, not only loud with a subwoofer, but at first would do so with their balcony door open. They also blasted jazz at 3-4am as they slept. As someone who in the past worked in live sound, I do not believe they understand how sound works. I feel sorry for the person that will rent my unit, and I specifically got a top floor apartment somewhere else due to how bad these neighbors are. I understand how living in close quarters is give and take, but everyone should feel empowered to leave when they have terrible neighbors.I must give a two if you have good neighbors, but it could be a solid three or four if management focused on a cleaner community and rule enforcement. Management does not need for me to call following the cookie cutter response; they need to do better managing their property. Great thing about leases is that you do not have to stay if they are not doing enough for their tenants.
The Copeland is a wonderful place to live. The amenities are fantastic, and the staff have been extremely helpful throughout my time living here. Ive had a number of questions during and after my move-in, and Peter was always very responsive and understanding. The apartment itself is spacious and I really have zero complaints!
This community is wonderful. I moved here in September and havent had a single issue. The location is great and so is the staff. The staff in the front are sweet and helpful. Their maintenance team is quick to respond to any request you submit. I originally submitted a request for my dryer. Omar and Will were able to fix my drayer and connect my wifi to my living room. That way I dont have a long dangerous cord running through my bathroom and walk way (ugh work from home life 🙄). Thanks yall, youre great!
I love living here. The place is well kept, great amenities, and most importantly the leasing office staff has been incredible to work with. They have been tremedously accommodating and are very much always looking for the tenants best interests. They are also very responsive to any request, question, or issue you may have.
The Copeland has been such a nice place to live. The finishes in the apartments are SO nice, the amenities are all very much resort-like, and the team is SO kind & always willing to help.
I moved in in November. So far everything has been great. Love my apartment and the office staff has been very helpful. Being able to control my thermostat and lock from an app has been awesome.
This is a great place to live! It is so convenient to everything!
This place is lovely with great amenities (gym, social area, dog park etc.) and close to The Domain. I love the contemporary style of the apartments and the staff are always super friendly and helpful!
The Copeland is a wonderful place to live. The on-site staff if helpful, fun, and always ready for anything I ask of them. The apartment homes and amenities are fantastic and beautiful. Plus there SO many cute dogs in the community!
Living at the Copeland has been a blast. We moved here from Hermosa Beach, California right at the beginning of Covid when everything closed down. Luckily the location is central to everything so we never felt locked down ourselves. Walking distance to the Domain and so many parks for our boys to play at. The construction of Austin FC stadium has been great for the boys to wake up to every morning and see all the construction vehicles working, and the dog park right outside of our yard is the best. So many cute and friendly pups. Top of the line amenities with great apartment layouts. The staff has been outstanding as well, quick to respond and help with whatever needed.
My husband and I have lived here the past year with no issues. The train coming through late at night and the early morning construction of the soccer stadium next door never bothered us, but the past 3 months since renewing our lease have been a nightmare. Packages are never delivered to our mailbox, our keys and parking gate scanner stop working every 2-3 weeks, and we never get apartment alert emails about important resident information. Going to the leasing office to get these issues resolved has basically become a part time job. A friend visiting just had her car towed 30 minutes away because we never received the email with the visitor parking pin. Looks like we’ll have to pay for it and take time off work to go pick up the car because of building management’s negligence. Save yourself the hassle and live anywhere else.
We have lived at the Copeland for almost a year and it has been an incredible experience! Our favorite parts are the always-friendly staff, the close distance to the domain, and the resort-style pool.
The administration team is very good but unfortunately the price and the train noise does not help. My five stars would go to the cleaning team and my zero stars would go to the neighbours that don’t follow the trash rules.
Ive been working with Zach Kronisch at Smart City Apartments to help me relocate to Austin, TX in March, and he is amazing and would never steer me wrong, so when he told me about the Copeland, I knew it would be amazing. He hit it out of the park with this recommendation!I just did a virtual tour with Derelle today, and... WOW! I have so many great things to say about the complex, the leasing staff, and my overall experience. First of all, Derelle was such a pleasure to work with. He was professional, friendly, asked me all the right questions before making recommendations, and even worked through tech issues on the fly due to the virtual setting to make it all run smoothly (BTW, this was his first virtual tour and he absolutely killed it - even acted on the fly when Zoom crashed on us to immediately Facetime me without even a minute delay). He really paid attention to what I thought was important and focused his tour on highlighting those things - but he also made a point to show me things he thought was cool about the community, which I love! I love when I can become friends with the leasing staff at my complex and build that sense of community, and I am off to a great start with Derelle! The community itself is beautiful, check out the picture gallery they have online. Everything is just as good, if not better in person. And soooo many amenities! A crazy rock wall and the super high tech security/fob system were my 2 favorite amenities. Super cool overall.Last but not least, I asked Derelle about the communitys COVID precautions. It is so important to me to feel safe in my community and to know that management cares about the health and safety of the property as well. Mask reminders are posted all over the place, and everyone I saw while touring was actually wearing one. Plus, Derelle said their residents have been great about wearing their masks, but they have sent out a note or two to residents when they did see people not wearing masks. A very polite note, but firm in their COVID precautions, which is exactly what I wanted to hear. Great job, guys.Anyways, my experience was amazing, and I cant wait to get this lease signed and move in in March! Thanks so much to Derelle for your amazing service!
I am thankful that its nice and warm inside my apartment on these cold nights, and for the food trucks parked outside on those days when I dont feel like cooking!
Clean, nice units and well put together. Easy move in process with helpful staff. Pleased with my overall experience. I would recommend this place to anyone else looking in the area.
For this review, please keep in mind the property management company had changed about midway through our lease, so some information may not be completely relevant. We moved into this apartment complex in July of 2019. When we toured, we were ensured the train nearby only ran during the day, and was specifically a commuter train. Within the first couple days, it was clear this wasnt the case. When we asked if we could move apartments to an interior apartment in hopes of it being quieter (we had a north exterior room), we were told wed have to pay a 800(?) dollar fee. While inconvenient, the train noise was horrible (plus, our downstairs neighbor played music very loudly a couple times our first week at 2 in the morning). After moving in, things were okay. During our stay, it was clear parts of the apartment werent great though (listed below). When we moved out, we were told the oven top was unrepairable. We never used the oven for anything other than cooking. We never dropped anything on the oven either. It was all normal use. Regardless, we got charged several hundred dollars for a replacement. We tried to work through this with the management company and were told they could do nothing. This seemed unreasonable given the circumstance.1. Cleanliness- It was clear this wasnt a priority. The floors in the hallways were only cleaned once while we were there (a little over a year). Our friends brought their dog in, who is fully potty trained, had an accident on the floors and I have no trouble assuming this is because they smell like a potty spot to the pups. Weve seen other dogs pee in the elevators, on the walls, etc. while there. Further, someone spilled some brown beverage in the fourth floor hallway and for the month after it had happened (then we moved), it was still on the wall. Additionally, on the grass all around the apartment, you can find a lot of dog poop that was never cleaned up by the owners. Other residents have also mentioned to management to use one of the many DNA fecal sample services to stop this, but the management has no interest in it. Further, they dont get a service to clean this up.2. Safety- Many of the instances Im sure we dont hear about. But when you see a truck on cinder blocks several times, you know someone is stealing their tires. The security is pretty lax, even if its a gated garage. Its super easy to tailgate in. Plus, many of the exterior doors do not fully close and lock. I know I can always get in to play pool or use the pool in the future because of this. But its also a security issue.3. Warnings- It was also clear they chose when it was convenient to give notices for leaving trash out. We left our trash can out past 10a one day and got a notice. But many residents leave their trash out over the weekend without notice, even though thats what causes some of the bad smells in the hallways.4. Costs- The apartment complex has several costs that are a bit much. IE: Smart device costs, package costs, etc.5. Amenities- Obviously with COVID amenity use is minimal right now. But its a big shame that were still paying for these even though we cant use them. Further, the pools seemed to be in maintenance half of the week.6. Fixes- Being a new apartment, as with a newer home, things break for unknown reasons. Our experience was: if its easy to fix, theyll do it, otherwise, they wont. Our porch was unusable for nearly the whole time it was there because it was too much work to fix (warped). Further, some of our cabinets wouldnt open because the island collapsed down a bit, offsetting the drawers/doors. Other things were addressed well though, so this may be hit or miss.7. Garage- The garage is tight. Its not helped by the oversized trucks, many of which seem to love to park on the end caps where its extra dangerous to drive through. This was very annoying to deal with and weve heard of some other residents getting in accidents.8. Dogs- The dogs on the first floor facing the stadium with yards are slightly aggressive.
Nice place to live, with a very good staffs attention
I love it here at the Copland. The only thing I dont like maybe even hate about it here is there is a train that drives by at least 8 times a day and it is sooooo loud.
We LOVE living here! Everything from the apartment to the leasing agents to the other tenants have been nothing but the best. It’s a gorgeous place and we are so excited to be here
Pros: The amenities and gym are awesome and brand new. The interior of the apartments are beautiful. The parking garage is nice.Cons: The walls are paper thin. I can hear my neighbors next door talking, and neighbors upstairs stomping. You can hear people talking and tv while walking through the hallways. It is like college dorm life all over again. On top of that, the noise from the train wakes me up at 3 a.m.. If you choose an apartment with a courtyard view, the pool lights reflect into your bedroom and can also disturb your sleep. It is not worth living here for the price you pay. Do not let the aesthetics of the building fool you!
Absolutely obsessed with this place! We moved in about a month ago and its been nothing but perfection! We have the best Leasing Agents/Community Managers, Kallyn + Pete, who have been so helpful with everything and so kind/accommodating. On top of that, the actual apartment is beautifully done: bright, spacious, 11-ft ceilings, and so much more. We are so excited to be living here!
The staff at The Copeland is very nice. We dropped in on a whim to check it out and they were so helpful. I would recommend this property to any of my friends as a last dwelling before purchasing a house. Lauren G. was our leasing agent and I must say, she takes the cake when being not only super sweet but accommodating and has your best interest at heart. We cant wait to live here.
Matt and Lauren are a dynamic duo in the leasing office. They went out of their way to accommodate me on multiple visits to the property prior to leasing and had a friendly demeanor about them every time I interacted with them. The amenities are impressive and the finish outs on these units are second to none. I highly recommend this place!
Beautiful, modern apartments with lots of amenities. Great location, right around the corner from the Domain, but without all the craziness and parking issues. Staff is helpful and friendly. Lauren is super knowledgeable and will help you to get whatever you need taken care of!
This complex has very nice amenities, but has lacked with maintenance (related to poor building construction) and safety (multiple car break-ins!!). I will say my maintenance issues were under the old management, so I’m hoping the new maintenance team is better. (There was a hole in the ceiling of my apartment when I moved in that was never truly fixed.) However, the new management is not doing anything to secure the property from break-ins. Rent is expensive here, and when I pay more I expect more. I’m not getting the value I expected here.
Great place to live. Pete at front office is the man, he really cares for the tenant and would fix any issues fast.
Train is bothering,Pest control is weak, we see pest everyday,Neighbors are knocking at 7pm for every sound.I would not recomend it to my frieds, who should migrate to Austin soon.
Ive lived at the Copeland for a few months now, overall it has been a good experience. When I moved from LA to Austin I looked at 11 places in and around the domain, and from an amenities and upkeep standpoint it was definitely the nicest, plus the staff is really helpful, kind, and friendly. My one complaint however is a big one. BEWARE OF THE TRAIN! It runs all throughout the day and has woken me up on several occasions, as early as 2AM. Especially because I am currently working from home, if I knew how often the train goes by and how much it would affect me, I may have reconsidered.Again, be sure to keep in mind how noisy the area can be with the train especially when/if it wakes you up in the middle of the night, but at the same time you will not find a more helpful, friendly and courteous staff who are willing to help you out which is why I changed my original review from a 3 to 4.
Absolutely fell in love with the Copeland the first time we toured!! Everyone weve encountered has been so friendly and helpful, theyve really made us feel right at home. Lauren especially has been so patient and toured us around the property several times! Shes been an amazing point of contact and has always promptly responded to any questions weve had. Moving in this week and we couldnt be more excited!
Great amenities and really close to The Domain!
When moving to Austin from Dallas we visited several apartments and having lived in a high-end apartment complex we were very picky and knew exactly what we wanted. Lauren G at the Copeland blew all the competition out of the water. She was extremely attentive to our needs, didn’t show us to many options as to overwhelm us and was super responsive to any questions we had, and we had a lot of questions! The apartments are fantastic quality but the winning bonus factor was the service we received at the Copeland by Lauren G. Thanks again, we can’t wait to move in!
What I like about this Apartments that it feel peaceful and has entertainment, mailboxes are private
Weve lived here for about a month now, and we love it. The leasing staff is very helpful and genuinely cares about the concerns of residents and future residents. The amenities are great and the apartments are very well built. You owe it to yourself to check out The Copeland.
We are very pleased with our move to The Copeland! The staff we have met have been very accommodating and extremely helpful since day one, making our move-in transition a breeze. Lauren, Matthew, Brittany as well as maintenance have all been super friendly, down to earth and make this place already feel like home to us. Overall, the Copeland community has been awesome and we are very much excited for our new home and location here in Austin!
I have loved The Copeland since the moment I moved in. They have done an amazing job creating community events, even during the Covid-19 shelter in place. They continue to take care of residents and the community by bringing in food trucks and continuing to provide special treats for all the residents.
Great apartment with awesome amenities! I finally moved in, and I want to give a quick shoutout to Kallyn (one of the apartment managers). My move in process wouldn’t be as efficient if it weren’t for her. Very efficient and punctual. She also responds to emails very quickly!
The Copeland is an amazing NEW community, but the staff is just as amazing. I worked with a little bit of everyone here and there, but Kallyn Duran has definitely been the best hands down! She was responsive, helpful, and kind even before moving in, and sense moving in has been the best contact for any of my apartment needs! Kallyn Duran is amazing, and made the difference between this apartment complex, and others on my list!
First, let me start by saying the leasing agents are amazing. Lauren has been helping us the majority of the time and couldnt be more helpful. Every question answered, either immediately, or after very little downtime to find the answer. She is spectacular and isnt paid enough for her great work. The entire staff is really on the ball and quickly responded to all of our questions or comments.Secondly, the property is beautiful. Brand new, like, 3 or 4 months old. They just got the second pool finished like a week or two ago. The appointments are stunning and the floorplans arent the exact cookie cutter plans youll find at other communities. It feels like home.
Train that passes by the Copeland is brutal, consider yourself warned! I’ve been awaken by the train a few times now, and as early as 3am.Adding car break-in to the list of terrible things with this complex. Parking garage gate was left up for nearly a month, allowing anybody to wonder into cars and inside complex. Security cameras are useless as the maintenance crew and leasing office are oblivious to residences and their property. Please save your money and go live else where.Other than train and inattentive staff, the complex is just not worth the money. Amenities are okay and apartment are spacious. Had one small hiccup with current management company regarding my lease, but that was taken care of eventually. After Pete left, I have no confidence in anyone that works here. Go elsewhere.Pros: proximity to the the domain, new Austin FC stadium literally next door, amenities, and building is still on the newer side.Cons: TRAIN, car break-ins, stole packages left at door, terrible staff, loud cars on W. Braker, and minor finish defects throughout apartment.Honestly, I should have read reviews before deciding to rent at the Copeland. If I knew train passes through so early in the morning, I would have differently picked a different place to live.
When I first looked at The Copeland, I was juts adding it to my list of hopefuls, but Kallyn Duran was definitely the one that helped me put The Copeland at the very top of my list. Kallyn is so helpful, and really is amazing at her job. She helped a very indecisive woman like myself, move into my dream apartments, and I definitely would not be here, had it not been for her!
Apartment as a a whole is decent but do not get talked into an apartment on the construction side. They work all day and night and all weekend, it will be all you hear constantly. We were not told about the construction even though they claim they tried to tell everyone. We were talked into a nice, open, peaceful field that she knew would soon be a construction zone and when asked to move apartments were told it would be a $700.00 transfer fee.
I’ve been living here for 2 months and I’m loving the experience so far! Lauren from the leasing office helped me find a unit I loved, and was very accommodating and helpful with all my requests. Even after I moved in, Lauren and Matt have been really great with all requests/concerns. The maintenance team usually fixes things the same day a request is raised, and is definitely the best I’ve seen! I checked out a lot of other apartments before leasing here, and the amenities and units here are the best I found in the market. Love the community and would definitely recommend it!Update: I moved out after my lease ended because I wanted to move in to a bigger apartment with a yard. Just wanted to say that the move out process was very smooth, despite of COVID, and I was really happy with the move-out statement that they generated! Had a great time living here.
Kallyn Duran gave me a tour of the place, and very quickly I found that The Copeland had everything I wanted in an apartment. I moved in less than a week ago, and so far I really enjoy living here!
Agents at the leasing office are not responsive and they are racist. Be aware before you take a lease with them!!!!
Beautiful property with great finishes. Lauren has been extremely helpful and friendly with ensuring a seamless move to the Copeland.
Until now Im having a good experience. The people from leasing office are very supportive and the apartments are very fancy and technologic.
Luxury apartments near the Domain with a ton of amenities. Management is super too!
Amazing place
Super cute building. Overall quiet. I’ve seen cars broken into in the street and guest parking :( broken windows on the cars. My car itself was ransacked in the tenant parking lot. Bewareupdated my review.. hallways are now always dirty and dusty.. embarrassing to have people over. They should have trashcans on every floor by elevator. Management does not enforce trash policy.
