This is one of the best apartment communities where I have rented an apartment. Great amenities, upscale pool and gym, and a property management that cares. After my move-out, I was only charged ~$25 after staying for 5 months in the apartment. Would definitely recommend this community.
I had nothing but good experiences here. I’ve lived all over and this was by far the best apartment I lived at. Sure there is some theft, someone even stole one of flower pots dropped it and broke it like 20 feet away from my patio but I loved everything else. So cozy, beautiful landscaping. Loved it.
Good and Bad. Very detailed review coming from myself who works in Property Management. The Good--Amenities. Especially the dog park. Best dog park for an apartment in all of Austin IMO.-The communities residents. We have made lifelong friendships. Ive never had so many people that Ive just met be willing to help our family during hard times and enjoy the good times together. It truly was magical to meet so many good-hearted people.-Nice apartment layouts and size. The Bad--Awful Management & staff. Management is very cold-hearted, lack human empathy, & not willing to help you in the slightest. I have never treated my own tenants with such shallowness & uninterest. (Probably why my tenants give me hugs & stay in touch after they leave.) Staff are robotic and you can tell low paid. Now, I do have in mind that MAYBE shes a good person but that she is a Weinstein slave & scared to go outside of the lines in all professionalism to show true empathy. On the other hand, maybe she really doesnt give 2 Fs about who lives here as long as she gets paid. 🤔 Either way its not a good sign of whats to come.-I got charged boiler management and valet trash fees when water & trash werent even functional during the winter storm.-Bad location for weather events... power almost guaranteed to go out.-Need black out blinds or curtains. Super bright. Some people like that though.-70% of people are afraid of dogs even though they live in a dog friendly community.. which is quite annoying. All in all I didnt hate it but management below par definitely did not entice me to resign. If you are a humanist this is not the place for you. If you need a large dog park this is the place for you.
Bexley at Whitestone is a wonderful place to live! We recently had a water pressure issue due to the snow storm that effected electricity and placed a service request. The maintenance team worked very hard to ensure we had water to use. Jack even remembered to wear shoe covers in my home when I forgot to add it to the request! The office team checked with us regularly throughout that week to ensure our water pressure was good! They were extremely busy as the storm had effected most of us! Now that is customer service! This place ROCKS!
If youve been reading reviews to decide if this place is suitable, allow me to add some details.-great location-nice complex-if it gets below 32 degrees, your power WILL go out (not their fault)
Weve been residents here at Bexley for over 4 years and the experience has been extremely pleasant. The staff has been friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. This has been the best apartment complex weve ever lived in which isnt an over statement! Highly recommend!
We lived here for about a year before we left Austin. It was such a great and quiet place. We truly loved our time there. The staff was great and responded quickly if we needed something!
We just moved in to our new home about a month ago and I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far! The staff are friendly and timely, the grounds are beautiful, and best of all our apartment is absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. My expectations have been exceeded!
The staff at these apartments are not friendly. There is also a lot of theft that happens at these apartments. The staff will always tell you that “crime doesn’t have an address” which I understand, but they do this with zero compassion. We have personally had 2 things stolen and had to scare off a potential burglar another time In the middle of the night. Our neighbors have had things stolen as well. All of us have gotten the same answer from the staff, yet security around the apartments has not changed. I wish this wasn’t the case because these apartments are really nice but the theft, lack of compassion and the fact zero changes have been made to try and stop these things have been made makes me write this post.
We have lived in several apartment complexes. By far, this has been the best place ever! Maria and Kristina have taken really good care of us. Any maintenance requests have been handled within 24 hours with professional and courteous team. Emergency requests are handled immediately. When it came time for renewal, Bexley worked with us so that we could continue to stay here as we love it here so much!! The property is cleaned and maintained well. Pet friendly!! The staff is courteous, friendly, and professional. The residents here are really nice. We feel safe living here. Maria, we love you!! Thank you and your team for all that you do for us!!!
When my husband told me we were moving from California to Texas I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was nervous about having to find a new place to live at. But when we met Allen at the Anderson Mill location we knew we would be in good hands. Unfortunately there wasn’t an apartment available for when we had to move there so we decided to try Whitestone and I cannot tell you how happy I am with our decision! The manager Maria and Kristina are so welcoming and nice. Allen ended up being promoted to Whitestone so he is there too. Everyone is so friendly and ready to help. I can literally go in there and say I need recommendations on where to go get good Food and they are more than happy to assist. When we need maintenance to come do something they are prompt and get it done right away as well as friendly. I will have to ask for the name of the maintenance guy that has helped us he is awesome too!! Just all around such a good experience living here. They’ve made our move even easier. And I cannot tell you enough how good the latte machine in the club house is, everyone needs to try it at least once.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE APARTMENTS TO ANYBODY. I’ve had multiple apartments. Moving in is great here. I feel like they just want to get you on the hook because they know you can’t get out of your lease. They don’t allow you to sublease at this place. DO NOT MOVE HEREI’ve had multiple shoes stolenPest problemsAC problemsParking problemsTrash problemsDog waste problemsThese apartments have been HELL for me since I’ve moved in and the payments have been on time.
Once you leave here is when they will get you, I am being charged $567 for SUBSTANTIAL carpet damage. There is no damage at all. I am going to upload upload a video of this unit that I took right before leaving this place. You decide whether you should rent here and let them get you for anything that they can make up at the time.In the video that I attached you can see that this place was cleaned spotless, windows cleaned, counters wiped down, toilets cleaned. This review is coming from someone that has PERFECT rental history at this place and every other place that I have rented thus far.Office staff is not going to help you, especially Ms. Erica or Erika who will read off from a given script. The manager is never going to get on the phone or return your phone call, probably too busy racking up Substantial charges onto someone elses account. Also, keep in mind as of now, other than pleading with them, which has not gone anywhere you too will have no recourse in the event that a charge is levied against you, either you pay it or take a ding on your credit. In other words they are going to extort money from you in whichever means possible and there is nothing anyone can do about it.That is the case so far, I am in the process of finding out which authorities are available to public and can assist with issues of this nature.Update : I cannot upload the video the file is too large, have posted still photos from the video.
Lived here at Bexley for over a year. The grounds are well manicured and the units are pretty nice. If I had to hand out gold medals they’d definitely go to the maintenance guys - it’s always a pleasant experience with them.
The apartments themselves are not terrible. The 1-star review is for the management they currently have. I will never refer a friend or family member to this place. I have a baby girl and the neighbors upstairs were partying every night for months straight and being increbily loud and rude. I am a very passive guy and didnt say much to them. One night I walked up there with my 5 month old baby in my arms and knocked on the door. Asked the kid living up there if she could keep it down and she said sorry. I said it was okay and thank you to her before returning to my apartment. The management got notified I knocked on her door and harassed her. Near the end of my lease we tried to relocate in the apartment complex for a few months before buying a house and explained the situation. They said we were unable to transfer and would have to completely move out and reapply because of the notes they had on us with our neighbors. Management never even gave me a chance to explain what really happened. These neighbors have also had the police visit them at 2 am multiple times and we are literally so quiet and respectful to all of the tenants in our building and they agreed with me how horrible this place is run. But I will say, they apologized and that they made a mistake. Well a mistake they couldnt fix and we are the ones that had to pay the price and find a new place.Indigo Apartments is right down the street and I have lived here for just a few days but they were so friendly and helpful and actually care about the people they interact with. As a resident of both places, if youre going to go to an apartment spend your money with decent human beings and go to Indigo instead.
Moving in is great. Moving out is horrible. They are extremely deceptive and get ready for pay a ton of money for stuff that makes ZERO sense.
Lived here since Jan 2019. Super comfortable, courteous and friendly team, friendly neighbors, fast-responding maintenance team; just to list some of the positive vibes of this place :)
Although I didn’t end up renting from Bexley due to sudden changes at work, dealing with Aerica was great she showed me many properties that checked all my boxes and came in well within my budget! I look forward to moving back to Austin soon and will for sure be checking back here with her and Bexley first!
Ive been a resident of this community for almost 3 years and I can honestly say that Ive been very happy here. The property itself is well kept with the latest fitness equipment, fitness coaching and clean grounds. The location is also perfect, that is you are close to all the major shops and grocery stores. The management and the staff is very warm-hearted, knowledgeable and always willing to help. They strive on keeping the community informed of all the activities around town, keeping its residents safe and planning activities for its community. Thank you Bexley Whitestone and its staff for making my time here very pleasant. My only reason for moving is the purchase of my home.
Just moved in and I really love this place! JacQuie was so great to work with! My application and move in process was very smooth! My apartment is beautiful and the area surrounding the complex is full of many stores and food places! Parking can be an issue but it’s not the end of the world lol I would definitely recommend this place to stay to anyone that is looking for an apartment!
I wish I could find the words to describe how grateful I am for this place. After living previously in one of the worst apartments I could have ever moved into while relocating to Austin, Bexley change my whole outlook on the possibility of me being comfortable in my home. Even during the Clovid19 pandemic day remain, Active in caring towards people who move in in their current residents. I love it here and I hope that I can refer everybody I possibly know to move into this place.
My family and I have been living here for a year and we love it. We enjoy the resident events and meeting our neighbors. The office staff does a great job and the property looks clean at all times.
Christina is wonderful! She is absolutely the most personable professional I have dealt with and she meets my needs the first time always. I really feel respected as a new resident with how she deals with me regarding my needs. Highly recommend her and the Bexley team overall!
Went to look at the Bexley at Whitestone without scheduling a tour.Lisa was a saint and gave me a tour anyway! I love the layout of the apartments, great quality, great customer service!
This is a wonderful community! The people at the front office are super friendly and eager to assist with any questions or help you may have. I was caught in the rain once and they let me borrow an umbrella. It’s small acts of kindness like this that make this complex so enjoyable. They put on fun events about 1-2 times a month, and have made an effort to get to know their residents by name and ask about work or your hobbies, which is such a friendly touch! The amenities are very luxurious, including the pool & gym. There is also a 24/7 tea & coffee bar, which is very nice and has saved me tons of $$$. The grounds are well taken care of, and the insides of the apartment are beautiful. Highly recommend living here!
Bexley Whitestone is a wonderful place to live! The management team is courteous, friendly and responsive. All of my work orders have been completed the same day or the very next day and the maintenance team is awesome. The apartments are beautiful, especially the kitchens. The pool is amazing and the fitness center is the best I have seen at any apartment complex. I love it here!
This property is so pretty! I came to visit my best friend and they had a cute resident event with mimosas! The team on site was so nice!
This is the 3rd year we are staying at this place and we love it. Amenities are ver good. Free yoga and gym classes, 24 hr cafe access are bonus. Oh and do not forget occasional free events organized by the community are awesome(taco night). Front office people are always smiling and courteous. Property is always maintained very clean. Service requests are always dealt promptly. I would recommend this place to everyone.
My family and I have truly enjoyed our time of residence at Bexley at Whitestone. The staff are super courteous and attentive to all needs. The complex and amenities are always kept up. Would highly recommend!
Bexley is a Really nice place to live. We had a problem with our air conditioning unit and it took 3 times for it to get it fixed. The point is maintenance didnt give up until it was fixed and running efficiently. The staff is always kind and helpful. Some of my friends are even interested in renting here when their lease is up. Maria and Lisa are the coolest. They have helped with many of my questions with patience 😊
I have lived at Liv for a couple of months now and have completely enjoyed it. This apartment complex has great amenities including a state of the art gym, yoga center and business center. The dog park is scheduled to open within the next couple of weeks and my dog and I cannot wait for this. The staff is amazing and always helpful. There are a couple of negatives that I have noticed since living here. First there is a car wash but no hose to actually wash your car with. When Im paying for an amenity I like to actually be able to use it. The other negative Ive noticed is that no one ever answers the phone at the office. I received a message from the office to give them a call which I did. I left a message and I never received a call back. Overall, I would recommend living here. I just feel like they still have a few kinks to work out.
Went to view an apartment was never helped or even told we will be with you so I guess the other renter was right. If you are black dont even bother because you will not get helped. It was a Saturday in june my fiance and I went to Inquire about an apartment no one greeted us are said anything so we sat in the lobby for maybe 5 minutes and left. There was a lady there talking to a gentleman about what was available she could have took a moment to recognize that we were there. So I told my fiance I read online in a review about this same scenario at your apartments so I guess it is true.
I have been living here going on 7 months and I have to say it is by far my favorite place that I have lived so far. The community is beautiful and well taken care of. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently. The office staff is so wonderful every time I stop in for resident events or to ask a question. Aerica was very helpful during the move-in process. Maria and Lisa are always a joy when I need to stop in and pick up packages as well. Bexley is such a nice community and I would not see myself moving from here anytime soon. Its affordable, clean, beautiful inside, and the office staff has been great.
I moved here from another state and these apts are absolutely beautiful, the grounds are well kept and the have an awesome clubhouse!! Gorgeous pool area. Great place to live.
I’ve been in the complex for about a week and I just want to brag on the leasing agent JacQuie Coleman. She was the best leasing agent I have ran across. From day one she was up front and honest. She helped us with the application and made the process very smooth. She even helped me find movers. Moving in I’ve had a few maintenance issue that is being fixed but she check up on us and gave us progress updates even though you can view it on the site. I’m crossing my fingers that this complex stay amazing. So far so good! Thank you JacQuie and the Bexley team for making this transition effortless! To add on to my previous post. As stated I had a few maintenance issues that needed to be resolved before I can settle in. Josh and the maintenance team was great. They fixed everything, the communication was amazing. One of my ceiling fans needed a new part, they let me know and fixed it with no problem. Even the emergency maintenance is amazing. I’m so excited because my last place was trash! You guys definitely exceeding my expectations!
I do not live at the bexley at Whitestone but I do have family that does and every single time I come the the bexley at Whitestone it is always up to standards your staff are really nice and friendly. And your property is always so well taken care of :)
The appliances are cheap and dated and the parking is the absolute worst do not move here unless you like cardio
I have lived here for approximately a year. The apartments are relatively nice for the most part. I dont have too many complaints outside of the major one that you will often find yourself unable to park your vehicle over night. I have a 2bedroom/2bath unit and between my wife and myself we own 2 vehicles. My wife recently had her vehicle towed from the complex because of the lack of parking on a late night. As I have had a mountain bike stolen off of my porch and I was robbed just outside the gates of the facility, not being able to reliably park inside the facility is a huge problem. To add insult to injury, the towyard the complex uses is 17 miles away on the opposite side of town.Outside of this, there hasnt been too much to complain about. The billing office has messed up my billing, maintenance can be slow to repair the facility at times (re: the street lamp in our courtyard that has been out for 2 months/broken dog park gate),etc. On the bright side, the people in the front office are typically very nice and willing to help with lockouts, the dog park is very handy (there are typically reoccurring people and dogs, so you can find someone your dog likes to play with), and the complex is in a fantastic location. So while overall experience is mostly good, I cant recommend it to anyone who owns their own vehicle.-Taylor
Thank you for your understating and patience with our family. I will defiantly miss you guys kindness and caring ways. I wish this community the best of luck with years to come.
Crawling with roaches... my apartment needed to get two treatments and I’m still finding roaches... and by all means my place is clean as hell I vacuum every single day I take the trash out consistently and I’m still finding dead roaches in my apartment... think twice before you rent here... also the apartment is built on a drainage system that’s right next to a pretty disgusting pond... I’ve also seen field mice running around the property.
This place is amazing. Very close to everything. Parking is always great always have a place to park no matter what time we come home. Very good amenties. Nice and quiet. We live on the first floor and dont hear our upstairs neighbours. We plan on living here long term. We will refer all of our friends and family that are looking for a apartment
We moved in in August and so far we really enjoy living here. The AC did break, but it was fixed and the insulation was good enough to not be unbearable in the apt. The fixtures and granite choices are great and give each unit a contemporary-modern feel. The complex doesnt look like a typical large complex and is well landscaped. The amenities are great and so far, nothing has been a big problem.
Looking for a home for the near future, Maria was fantastic and welcoming. I will keep Bexley Whitestone on top of my list
I have been living at Bexley for 7 months and I couldn’t be happier. The environment is amazing, the apartments are spacious and beautiful, the location is great and the staff are so sweet and helpful. My puppy and I take a trip to the leasing office everyday to say hello to the staff. The maintenance is also great, as soon as I put in a work order online, someone’s knocking on my door to fix the issue. My family has come to visit numerous times because they love the apt and the club house/gym. I’m so grateful I found this place and I love calling Bexley my home.
Just like everyone else, I can agree that the inside of the apartments are nice. Parking is a nightmare, beware you have been warned. I always see cars in front of the leasing office over night. I have only parked up front once myself, but did not feel like it was a secure spot for my 17 vehicle. I cant wait until my lease ends, so I can move to a property where I can park in front of my building. No real parking solutions, or staff who will answer the phone. Mediocre customer service for the amount of money I pay. No wonder I always see moving trucks around. When I first moved here, I wanted a parking garage. There was a waiting list, which upset me at first. Then I saw emails regarding burglary, so I am glad I never got one. In my time here, I am yet to be able to get covered parking. The only good thing about this complex is the apartment itself and maintenance. Based on all these reviews, they up charge for damages upon moving. Ready for that fight with the office if necessary, because I am not about to pay for absurd charges. PS to everyone currently living here, know your rights and get everything in writing.
I am beginning my third year of residence at the Bexley Whitestone and have nothing but good things to say. The apartment itself is great, and I happen to love my location within the complex. Every maintenance request Ive had has been addressed the next business day (I always send my requests in via the Web site), and even things that might not really be their responsibility have been addressed. The staff is always friendly and efficient, and the grounds and pool are kept in great shape. In 2 years, I have had only one time that I can think of there being some disruptive noise, and that was people enjoying themselves in the pool and they settled down by 9pm. Finally, its a great location -- convenient to shopping and restaurants, and with two gates (one on 620, one on Lake Creek Parkway) its always easy-in, easy-out. Im grateful for 2 good years and I imagine there will be more than just this next one coming up.
Just did a tour and I got to admit I was impressed. The apartment was way bigger than I expected and amenities were amazing definitely my top choice to move in.
This place is probably the prettiest and most well maintained place that I have every stayed at. However the biggest problem they have is parking. You wont see the issue during the day or on weekends. Good luck if there is no parking. Management has been working on this issue for nearly a year and the only assistance they can offer is covered or garage parking, which in most cases is not near your building.
5-Star: Excellent place to live. No issues while I lived there.1-Star: When you do leave, please make sure you account for all conversations and quotes via email etc. or what office workers tell you. When you receive that final Move Out Summary, they suddenly forget all theyve quoted you, or dont know why they said that, and theyll swipe more off that bank account of yours.
My family and I lived here during a short term lease and everything was amazing! The ladies in the front office are very attentive and were always able to help us. The maintenance staff is also on top of everything. The apartment itself was beautiful and the grounds were kept clean. We met lots of our neighbors - there is a great sense of community here. The office staff knows everyones name! They have a huge front office/club house that is open 24/7 and has a fancy little coffee bar (I was there every morning). The community is right next to shopping, grocery, and restaurants. We only moved out because our new house was built. The move out process was easy and there were no surprises on our Move Out statement. It is not easy to find a 6 month rental of a 3BD apartment but Bexley made it happen! All the 5 star reviews on here are not lying, we had a wonderful experience and if we ever need an apartment again, this will be it!
I was there looking for rent, the lady called Kristine was very nice and the place look great .
I’m looking to live in these apartments and I am thoroughly impressed by the facilities and the staff. Kayla E. gave me a tour today and I felt right at home. Her wonderful personality and ability to work with me on my price range was phenomenal. I truly recommend requesting her when you’re ready to check these apartments out!
I have lived here since April and have loved every minute. The people who live here are all warm, kind, and wonderful. They are a reflection of the people who work at Bexley though. Every employee I have ever crossed paths with has been friendly, helpful and genuine. This is the best community I have ever lived in!
This property is amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Will recommend to my friends looking for a new home.
Ive lived here for a year now and love it! The amenities are top notch, the apartments are super modern and the front staff is super friendly! The gym is amazing as is the clubhouse with a great cafe-like business center and a beautiful common area that can be rented out for private parties :). Great location too!
Beautiful apartments and the rent is very reasonable! Complex is very well kept, and the level of service from the team at the leasing office, as well as from the maintenance crew is great, and definitely much better than anywhere else Ive lived.Specially Joe from maintenance and Mary from the leasing office are always great!
Bexley is one of the best managing companies Ive worked with! I lived at Bexley Lakeline for the last year and just moved into their sister property- Bexley Whitestone this past weekend. I needed to move in asap after the apartment I was planning to move into did not work out. Lisa was very helpful in showing us around the complex and the amazing amenities- medium sized gym with lots of natural lighting, cozy yoga studio, and 24 hour cafe.Overall, Im very happy with my apartment, the upgraded finishes and how easy they make it to pay rent online and would definitely recommend to a friend!
Ive lived in this community since August of 2016. So just about five months. This month we moved to a bigger apartment here. The first four months we sub leased a one bedroom and finished some one elses lease. There has been only a few small issues. The main one was not the fault of the community, our downstairs neighbor just happened to be really inconsiderate and blast music sometimes, and I could hear his bass. (I am pregnant and sick so might be slightly less annoying to most people). Besides that the only problems I have ever had were just that the switch over process was rocky and my washer and dryer wasnt in my apt as requested. However the staff ensured me theyll be delivering the washer and dryer in a few days and waived the $40 fee for the month. We also worked out the paperwork in the end and it went over correctly. Overall the amenities are amazing, staff is absolutely wonderful, and the grounds and our apartment are stunning! They have a great location! We love it! 9 Years in Austin and this is the best community we have had the pleasure of living in.
Love this place :-)The staff is so friendly and beyond amazing when it comes to fixing issues, and creating wonderful events to socialize. You are awesome!
Worst place to ever live. They despise and hate infants and toddlers. If you have a family that you want to be respected and treated with dignity do not ever move to any one of the bexley apartments are also known as Weinstein Properties they are the most horrific and evil people I have ever dealt with. My family is shocked from the ill treatment we have received during our stay. It was a blessing to have left their community. My family and I are alot healthier and doing rather well now we have found a better home :)Actually it is very accurate so stop with your scripted replies towards peoples negative thoughts about you guys.
I would definitely recommend living here, the property is gorgeous. Also the staff is great and very friendly. A nice enjoyable place to live.
Bexley is a great place to call home.I love living here!!
Ive lived at Bexley for 3 years now and have been in the Austin area for 9 years. This is the first apartment Ive ever had an anniversary with.. the difference that has made me stay is the staff and the maintenance crew. The first year (different management) was filled with some promises that they knew they wouldnt have to keep (because they were trying to get the property filled up in order to sell the property). When the new management came in, these issues started to arise as people came into their renewal. While the new management couldnt honor all of these promises they tried there best to accommodate and move forward with transparency (which I believe is the best thing about new management). The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help at all times, the maintenance crew is by far the best Ive ever had at an apartment complex. The apartment units themselves are very nice, spacious, and the whole community has a neighborhood feel with a great dog park (huge).Unless my work takes me away from Austin.. I see myself taking Bexley out for dinner for our 4th Anniversary.
So we moved into our apartment on Halloween. The floor plan is very open and the apartment is spacious. Unlike our last apartment, there is plenty of storage room; my wife, my son (who likes to cook), and I all share the kitchen and each have our own drawers and cabinets for things weve purchased for ourselves. The island is now our dining table since it has a nice overhang. Theres a place upfront for my bike and a third public bathroom for people that visit for dinner or friends of our children. As far as the staff goes, theyre very friendly! The ladies in the office (Amanda, Kayley, etc.) are really fun to visit with and have even agreed to be guinea pigs for my design projects! If youre looking for a new community, Bexley at Whitestone should definitely make your short list. :D
This place is in a good location. Its surrounded by pretty much anything you would need. Even being so close to two major roadways, it doesnt seem like youre so close to the city. They have done a decent job shrouding the place from a completely urban feel. The dog park is really nice. Its bigger than any park Ive seen (at an apartment complex). It has an open area with agility training for dogs to run. It also has a wooded area for dogs to explore. My two dogs thoroughly enjoy the park. The units are not bad either, when theyre clean. Here is where my complaints come in. The day we got our keys, we went in and inspected the place. The first thing I noticed was the paint drips that covered the floor in the living area and the kitchen. It was like they hired kids off the street to paint these apartments. Our laundry room door would not stay closed, either. My next complaint would be with the parking. There is a nice parking lot, on one side of the complex. On the other side, parking is minimal. Most of the spots are parallel parking as well. So keep that in mind.My final complaint is with the Customer Service. I sent in a service request because my dryer vent was not connected. It had not been connected, since the day we moved in. It was causing our laundry to become extremely humid, when we ran the dryer. Keep in mind, these are washing machines and dryers that are provided by the complex, so they shouldve checked all of this before we moved in.In my service request, I specifically requested to have someone come the next day, or the day after (Sat or Sun), because I have two dogs and would prefer to be home when strangers enter my apartment. An hour or two after I placed the request, I get a call. They left me a voicemail stating that they tried entering my apartment, but they were unable to due to the renters lock being locked. They later sent me an email with the same information.I replied to the email stating that I requested someone to come the next day. They replied stating that their maintenance team does not work on the weekends (except for emergencies). I understand that. However, instead of telling me that to begin with, they decided to try to enter my apartment against my wishes.TL;DR: Location is great. Atmosphere is great. Apartments are nice, when they are properly cleaned. Maintenance, and Customer Service of staff is questionable, at best. This place wouldve gotten 4 or 5 stars if my apartment was clean, and they clearly communicated that stipulations of their maintenance.
Living here has been one of the most frustrating experiences Ive had. I live on the first floor in building 14 and have had constant excessive noise from my upstairs neighbor. I have gone up twice to speak to them about just being mindful that they have neighbors below them because it sounds like theyre stomping a lot of the time. I can deal with some noise for a short bit, but when its continuous and you cant even take a nap in your home or enjoy watching a movie because the noise is so loud its a problem. I have called and brought this to the offices attention numerous times. Theyve sent people out to verify and of course the noise stops while theyre here for about 5-10 mins. I finally recorded it on my phone and showed the assistant manager who then followed me home to my apartment to verify. Which after I found out he said it was normal apartment noise. No. This is not normal and I have the video to prove it. He also told me that some of the buildings have sub flooring problems and they are working on fixing it. I was offered to move to a different apartment, but there is a fee. Why should I have to pay a fee to move out because of excessive noise. The property wont call it that and say its normal so I have to pay for the inconvience. When I called today to let them know that again there was excessive noise for almost 2 hours and I couldnt handle it anymore, the woman in the office said that I was noise sensitive and the cleaning crew above, because the upstairs neighbors moved out, had to do their job. I understand that people have jobs to do, which is why Im trying to be patient about this, but the bangs and loud jarring noises Im not going to sit by anymore and deal with. Unfortunately I cant upload the video of the loud noises or I would share it here.
Bexley at Whitestone is an amazing and beautiful community. It offers a wide range of amenities that separate it from the other communities in the area. The community feels like a family and the staff does an amazing job in hosting events and ensuring that the residents feel safe. Maria, Aerica, and Kayla do an amazing job and truly care about the residents that live at Bexley Whitestone!
Moved in Aug2015. A few small issues upon move in, but hey they are brand new! Maintenance addressed in a respectable amount of time. Fitness center and pool are great! Community is well kept and they have fitness and yoga classes. There are several community events scheduled through the month. I love it here!
I LOVE my new apartment! I cant explain how excited I was after viewing my new home! I knew instantly this was the place to call home. the staff does more than just the above and beyond and the complex itself is beautiful!! They have a designated area for pets and have a pet disposal as well as baggies for occupants to pick up for the furry little one. Did I mention the onsite gym? Yoga facility? I can continuing raving about this place but it is on the must see list because it is your new home, that is a promise!
By far the worst customer service I have experienced! I applied for the Bexley Apartments and was approved (even though they didn’t collect proof income which is apart of the application process) immediately after they sent a lease and welcome letter. I have ESA dogs which I gave them a letter for, they proceed to call me and tell me they cannot accept a VERIFIED LETTER BECAUSE IT DOESNT SAY IM DISABLED! I was asked what my disability was over then phone (mind you they can ask what the dog does for you which my letter states, they can not ask me what my disability is) I had to have my letter resent listing both my dogs and it also had to say I’m “DISABLED” because I like the amenities I followed the instructions. It took 3 weeks to approve an ESA Animal..I have lived at MANY COMMUNITIES never took that long. I canceled my applications due to all the lack of communication misinformation and additional hoops I was put through. When I asked for my admin and deposit back I was told I would only get my deposit back. I was told the admin is only refundable after 72 hours, even thought the rental criteria does not state it. The back and forth emails with Kristina were very condescending and rude. The last email I sent Thursday never even got a response. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO LIVE THERE DUE TO THE CURRENT OFFICE STAFF.
Great modern property with great amenities. Dog park is excellent. For the quality of the apartments, it is definitely very well priced for the neighborhood.
I visited the property and Maria helped me. María’s customer Service was fenomenal that prompt me to apply. My son and I Willy be happy living here.
Beautiful complex. Maintenance is quick and friendly. Only problem I have here is that I been added to the waitlist for a garage/carport like 3 times I just give up. I was promised a garage and then when I go to the office they have no idea what Im talking about. Just wish there was better communication. I just got my car painted and was excited about having a garage for protection. I guess not now. Very disappointed.
Great astromphere and amazing staff. Also there is a cyber cafe with an amazing coffee and tea maker (tea bags and hot water). There is 3 iMacs for homework or small tasks. The internet is moderate for an apartment complex and there is two TVs along with seating. Its a good place to catch up with friends. Also the pool is about 5-6ft deep and is always clean apart from the occasional leaves. Management is always helpful and nice to us. Been living here for only one year but I love it here. The price at first may seem steep, around 1100 dollars per month for a 6 month lease, but I say its worth it! Thank you Bexley staff!
This is by far the best place I have ever lived, the Staff is amazing Amanda, Jaimee, Marv, maintanence crew, as so on. They really make sure everything is done to your satisfaction and are so helpful and patient. Maintenance does not hesitate to fix whatever you need immediately and professionally, they are awesome. Management team, and leasing staff is the most kindest, caring, and professional people I have ever rented from. They keep it so clean and very well maintained outside, as well as inside, have so many fun functions for the residents, everything is so close by its so convenient. I love it. No drama, and no mess. Feels like you are among the elite . Very affordable and gorgeous area. I love it, and when my friends and family come over they love it to..Bexley Whitestone rocks!!!
I love living here! Its a beautiful and great place to live. They do resident events every month! They really care about us!
The best property Ive ever resided at is Liv Whitestone. First class amenities & First class Management who actually cares about your residency.5 Stars/A+ property! If you dont believe, then come see for yourself.Resident, A.P.A.
As far as apartment communities go, Bexley is definitely one of the best in town. All of their properties have great features and are super well-managed. At Whitestone, every unit is furnished standard with trim levels that we would be charged extra for at others. (Weve lived in Riata and to get this nice of a place with 3 bedrooms the cost would be hundreds more). We have a 3 bedroom and our kitchen is to die for! We just moved from a three bedroom duplex with nearly the same sqft as what we have now and the layout and quality are so much better it feels like a way nicer place despite not having our own huge backyard anymore. Everyone weve met at the dog park is very friendly and the fitness center has everything we could ever need. They even have a coffee shop business center with free coffee and lounge to use at our leisure. Parking is one of the biggest concerns we heard about and yes, it can get a bit tight, but so far we havent had an issue and I hear they are working to rectify that soon. This place is far greater than its star rating gives credit to. I think many people are just not considering that as apartment communities go, this is a great place.
Ive had nothing but a great experience in the year Ive lived at Bexley. It takes a lot for me to say that after coming from quite a few bad apt situations. Any time weve had an issue and put in a request, maintenance handles it super fast-great guys!
Absolutely beautiful interiors and amenities. I have lived here for almost years, and I have enjoyed it, property is decently kept, and my experiences with Management & Maintenance have been positive all the time.
Beautiful apartment interior, and tall ceilings are definitely a plus. However, parking is a constant issue that keeps getting addressed. It is not convenient parking on the other side of the complex, or circling hoping to find someone who is leaving. There is a number to call but no one answers. Maintenance is pretty good and prompt when it comes to requests. Good luck trying to get through to the office and have someone actually answer the phone if you ever call them! Management sucks, and the office staff does not give concrete answers to concerns/questions. I definitely will not be renewing my lease. There are some watermarks on my living room ceiling, but was told it was nothing concerning. Based on yelp reviews, I hope we dont get charge for it considering the height of the ceiling.Pretty sure there was a ceiling fan in the living room before we moved in. Will update my review upon moving out.
Pros: Great location (a lot of homeless people wandering right next to the apts)Cons: Walls are VERY thin, You can hear your upstairs neighbors walking around, You can hear their music and television, You can hear when they are doing laundry, You can hear them get the shower or bath started. If you have a garage below you, when the garage door is opened or closed it will rattle your entire apartment. When they are leaving in the mornings or getting home late at night and have their music on, it again will literally rattle your apartment. It may not sound like a big issue but when it happens more than 2 to 3 times a day it gets a little redundant. They will enter your apartment without notice. (Maintenance came in today and turned the ac down to 60) When i came home it was freezing. I have no idea why it was done. Nothing was communicated. Looks like i will be paying a little more for electricity this month. They charge you for VIP trash service (Not optional)Know that the trash will not always be taken, even if you follow the guidelines. It got so bad people in the hallway had to write notes in chalk for the trash companies employees to take the garbage. I called the office about the chalk in the hallway a month ago and its still there. For the price you will be paying its not worth it. Not even close... Save yourself a lot of headaches and keep looking elsewhereManagement if you can help the noise issues i have no problem updating my review.
Ive lived at Bexley at Whitestone for nearly 3.5 years and I still couldnt be happier. I went from working 10 minutes away to having to commute downtown every day and while it gets tough after a while, I still wouldnt live anywhere else! Lakeline station is VERY close and there is a bus which takes the toll road straight downtown via Mopac!Ive lived in three different layouts and they are all phenomenal. Every time I have friends over they gasp at how nice and big the apartments are. Moving from one layout to another (1BR > 2BR > 1BR) Ive never felt that I was unjustly charged for damages which is a huge deal. The maintenance crew is also very fast, though Ive rarely had to use their services. Overall, the worst thing about living here is that at various times of the year (when there are more occupants I assume) it is hard to find a parking spot. It was incredibly hard for a while about a year ago, but the staff worked really hard to find creative ways to open up more parking. The staff is also incredibly friendly and warm - Aerica in particular is so nice and helpful every time I go into the office! The pool is also has wifi (great for working from home!), is very kid friendly and open year round!
Apartment consistently neglected to address an issue of over charging me by 100s of dollars monthly in water bills. Now are demanding I pay an absurd amount. Be careful of this place as they can care less about their residents.
Friendly service. Honest workers YAY!!!
A beautiful community and a great place to live.
My husband and I have lived in this community for 3 1/2 years and we’ve loved our time here. The only reason we’re moving is because we’re moving into our new home. The community is wonderful from the amenities, to the neighbors, the office staff and maintenance team, they’re the best!If you ...........Work from home, the clubhouse is a great place to work from! It’s spacious, cozy, open 24/7 and coffee is always available.Work out, you will love the gym and the separate yoga room! Onsite personal trainers are available, they offer free fitness and yoga classes and they recently purchased a Peloton bike.Have a dog, you and your dog will love it here. The dog park is large enough for even the biggest dogs who get the zoomies. We have met many of our friends at the park!Like to socialize or have kids, there are plenty of events to attend throughout the year at the clubhouse.Like the outdoors, this community is enjoyable for walks. It feels like a small town and there are so many trees around. Nearby, you can also find trails such as Walnut Creek Park and Bull Creek which both allow dogs to be off leash.Like to shop, everything is a quick drive away! HEB, Homegoods, Target, Barnes and Noble, Lakeline Mall and many more places. Whatever you need, it’s probably just around the corner. Are a home body, you are going to love your apartment. We get a ton of natural light and we love the open floor plan and spacious bedrooms. We cannot say enough great things about this apartment community and the awesome staff who have made our experience so wonderful. The customer service is excellent and the staff is so fun to visit with. Once we had a lost package for our wedding and they worked so hard to help us track it down! They treat our little pup like family and always have treats for him when he visits the clubhouse. The grounds and maintenance team are awesome! They are super quick to take care of requests and make sure the community is well taken care of. Thank you Bexley Team, you guys are the best and we will miss you!
Lovely property, nice staff and amenities. Will consider this property as a future residence, should the need arise.
I would advise everyone to go look at the Yelp reviews as to those are more detailed and definitely NOT 4/5 stars.
I have lived here for two years and unfortunately needed to transfer out. But have to say the New management Maria and staff Aerica have been the best I have seen since being here. They helped with even locating places to see if I can stay within the bexley community. They went above and beyond to help With my transition. They have been working hard to make the most improvements and making you feeel comfortable. Thanks for making my last days so pleasant.
My storage got break in and got stolen items, and looks like they dont even care about it. They told me my situation is same as my car got break in at the mall, cause of location. This place have a lot of parking issue. People just park on handicap, fire lane. I reported couple times but nothing had been changed. so I gave up.Building construction is POOR.I can hear every foot step, every flushing, movie and music noise.Pet owner, they did not pick up their pets refuse. You have to watch your step when you need to step on grass.Pets SXXT everywhere...I am paying over 1700 a month with water, try to find other apartment. You can find 1200 with 2 beds room on Parmer LN.This apartment is too EXPENSIVE for what you getting.
While living at Bexley at Whitestone (over 2 yrs) my experience was good. However, when it came time to move out everything changed. Due to the construction next door, there was an issue with an inappropriate amount of dust/dirt entering into our apartment through the air vents. Unfortunately, we were completely unaware of the extent of the issue until we moved out all of our funiture. The dust/dirt overtime was getting trapped underneath our large furniture that we never moved (couch, bed, tv stand) and left the carpet underneath the furniture black from the amount dust. As soon as we noticed the issue, we shared our concerns with the office and management. Shockingly, a lack of interest to resolve the issue is what we received. Payment to replace the carpet is the response I recieved, even after I brought up the health issue of other residents breathing in dust unknowingly. The amount of dust/dirt entering the air vents of Bexley at Whitestone is a health issue! I urge current residents to check their vents and under their furniture to ensure this unfortunate situation doesnt happen to them, because the office will be of no help.
Excellent property! Very clean, and staff is always friendly.
Terrible customer service! They mess up applying rent to the wrong apartment and then have the audacity to serve an eviction notice. No notice that payment wasnt received just a surprise weeks later. No apology after all was said and done. Also, expect you to take off time for their schedule, absolutely no working with you on walk throughs. Dont know who they think they are, for the amount we pay for this place they should be kowtowing to us...
Apple pc in the buiness center. spacious open floor plan. community contests. valet trash service. Great managers. Timely maintenance. Beautiful landscaping. State of the art gym. Resort style pool. Community events. Dog friendly. huge tub.
I used to live here and my time here was extraordinary. apt are super beutiful and clean, and the staff was always helpful and professional
Staff is very nice, personable, and on point. Most of my day-to-day needs are met within 4 miles of home, a definite plus!
Renters Beware of “Big Brother” ComplexThis is a warning to all potential renters at the Bexley at Whitestone Apartment Complex on 9826 North Lake Creek Parkway in Austin, Texas. I had the misfortune of being a renter there for two of the worst years of my life. It was during the first year that I suspected problems of breaking and entering into my apartment by members of maintenance and other personnel connected to the management and staff. When the management changed at the end of the first year, I thought it would stop and renewed my lease--but little did I know that the worst was just getting started. We discovered that our front door, back door, and window latches were all being manipulated and often left open and unlocked to facilitate illegal and un-monitored access while we were away from home. In addition to breaking and entering, they allowed and contributed to many other things that made my family unsafe. Despite pest control “fees” each month, I was inundated with a horrible infestation of ants. During the same month, they allowed Freon refrigerant to leak down into my apartment from the third floor above me.After repeated protests and an increasingly antagonistic relationship between the management and myself, they orchestrated a final malicious attempt towards the end of my lease during which they PLANTED bed bugs in my apartment to get me to pay a near $1,000 fee. The “pest company” sprayed three times with an $18 can that you can buy yourself on the internet. They knew I would eventually take steps to leave so this was part of a plot to create a financial hardship via the fees that would either 1) lock me into the lease at their complex, and/or 2) damage my credibility and acceptance at a new complex. We took pictures of another resident’s trash (massive piles of badly stained blankets and bedding) and insecticide that appeared to be their original source for the planted bed bugs. The regional manager stood in my living room and had to acknowledge that our window locks were inexplicably damaged to prevent closure, and she could not deny that this created a possible entry point for the bugs to have been planted. When I filed a police report and even contacted an attorney to warn them about all of their malicious acts, they sent me a retaliatory non-renewal of my lease. These people are ruthless and vandalized my apartment several times and took jewelry and other items that came up missing. I had to resort to tape and other measures to attempt to protect my family, only to return and find that they had removed the tape and brazenly left it lying on the door outside of my apartment to let me know that I would not be able to keep them out. There are even worse things that they did which are not even appropriate for publishing on the internet. Please do not be deceived by the looks of this place. Your contract is an open invitation for them to enter your apartment as they please and violate your privacy at any whim.I have sent certified letters to the CEO and have even spoken with the regional manager, only to be ignored and further humiliated. They are continuing to pursue me over inflated and erroneous fees thatthey actually caused themselves. It is my sincere hope that no other resident has to go through this unbelievable and surreal nightmare that I would never have thought possible. Your safety and privacy are both at risk if you move there.
OMG! Thank you Mr and Mrs, Hicks. My husband and I have lived here for 10 months and cant wait to move out. What is advertised as luxury apartment living is not, although they charge luxury prices. We pay over 1800 a month, which includes a double car garage. You can rent a beautiful home for that and not have to deal with noise, lack of privacy, and parking issues. This place is so full people have to park where they can, away from their apartments and in handicap spots (when theyre not handicapped).Construction is poor. The walls and floors are extremely thin. We were lucky not to have upstairs neighbors until last week. Now we hear every footstep, The kids are running around because they have nowhere to go--the complex doesnt have a playground. We dont have kids, but feel for the families that do. Traffic, radios, and the banging of the garbage trucks at the mini-mall next door at 4am. We cant even cook high temp cooking because our unit does not have a vent, but a microwave, so what ever you are cooking vents thru your rooms into your sheets. and every unit comes with a washer and dryer except one floor plan. (Make no sense) and they dont provide laundry facilities . on top of all these issues to re new our lease took a major JUMP. We laugh. I advise people to be aware of this information...we went to give our notice and get the proper moving out paperwork so we wont be stuck in another lease we found out if we were to stay our rent increase for another 12 months went up 400.00 per month. Mr and Mrs Hicks Im on your side. From a retired Military Officer My living here with my wife has not been Safe nor relaxing. I advise families to look for other option.
