I just recently moved in and I can say the least by saying that my girlfriend and I really enjoy living here! The whole process may have had some bumps in the road applying but what process doesn’t? I can say with ease that Lydia helped make any situation we had disappear. She was very helpful and was even there for us when the office hours were closed, she made everything so much easier for us and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help us join this community!
I recently moved into concord apartments. I was searching and nothing in the area had caught my eye. I stopped by concord and met Lydia who was amazing. The property is well kept and staff is super helpful and friendly. Lydia was extremely professional and made my leasing experience with concord effortless. She went beyond expectations with helping me with setting up utilities and internet connections. It’s well worth considering Concord Austin if you’re looking for a new place to call home.
I moved in almost 3 weeks ago and I must say thank God for Lydia. She worked with me through every step of the move-in process even with me being in another city. She was absolutely awesome!!! She even made sure some repairs were taken care of when I first moved in! By far the best leasing professional I have ever met! There is also another staff member that’s really nice, Portia. And the maintenance guys are prompt and know what they are doing! Plus the property is BEAUTIFUL!!! I’m happy with this location and love Lydia. She is the best!!! So glad I chose Concord Austin Apartments!
Great apartment complex. Truly happy living here the past 6 months. Management is quick to respond to anything and always there to help out when in need. They care about their community and always are quick to act on improvements not only for tenants but for the complex as a whole 10/10 recommend!
Like any other place nothing is perfect! However, I’ve had a pleasant experience, Lydia and Portia have been great, I was going to move back downtown but decided to stay another year. The communication has been great, it’s very convenient for me, the apartments are pretty big for what you pay, overall I’d definitely recommend this place as the finishes are just as nice or better than more pricey apartments closer to downtown. Thank you Lydia and Portia for your dedication and pride to make this place a more desired community.
Lydia has been great to work with, she was always ready to answer any questions that I had. I am very happy that I chose to move in to this complex.
From the very beginning Lydia has been great. She was always attentive and available for questions when we had them. Even after we finalized our lease she has still been very helpful. She made our move in quick and easy!
I just moved to concord and love it! Lydia Arbizu in the front office is so sweet and made the application process so easy and stress free!! Love the dog park and pool!!
Great Apartment complex with friendly neighbors and staff. Lydia is very responsive and has helped me tremendously during and after moving in. Repairs are done in a speedy manner and the apartments themselves are of very high quality!
Horrible, disgusting, does not clean all the very ugly areas I do not recommend it
Lydia made leasing so easy for me. She was prompt, generous and made sure I had all needed recourses. Thank you Lydia!!!
The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Portia Rivas she was the one who helped me with my move-in, they advise you and follow up on your questions, excellent facilities and a very nice place to live.
Lydia was very helpful in she was able answer all my questions i highly recommend her if you looking for a apartment 💯also David as well was helpful thank y’all 💯
The old management was awesome. Things went wrong with the new management, I cant believe how unprofessional they are. The new maintenance team has tried to access my apartment a couple of times without my authorization, their excuse was To check if there are any water leaks. The place has nice apartments but its worthless when the management cant manage the place. Everyone misses the old management. Good luck if you are moving there.
I Love it here I just moved in a couple weeks ago, Mrs. Lydia Arbizu helped me and my husband a lot, the apartment is super nice, 10/10 recommended it here!
New management is awesome... my pictures do not do this place justice you have to come in and take a tour with Efren or Justin. If you Like being close to all the action this is the complex for you SOCO is down the street and down town about ten minutes out.. Safe, friendly, family and pets. check it out.
Our experience was Pleasant from the start Lydia Arvizu is so helpful and kind, I’m glad we can count on her. So glad we chose Concord as our new home!
I’ve lived here for two months. It’s worth noting that Concord is under new management. I’ve heard rumblings that the prior management wasn’t great, but I have to say, James, David and the entire team are some of the most welcoming, helpful, and kind people I’ve ever met in any apartment complex. They really are doing everything in their power to help shift perceptions and regain the trust of those hurt by the prior owners. This is demonstrated both by their rapid and significant upgrades to infrastructure as well as their stellar customer/resident service. Most people are on their best behavior on move-in day, but the team has been wonderful months into my tenure. As a young professional, I’ve lived in plenty of communities throughout Texas, California and New York State. So far, this has been the best service I’ve ever received. Facilities are well kept, personal are extremely helpful and flexible. They just want you to be happy here. They respond to all emails and questions in minutes and have gone out of their way to assure a happy move-in and initial few months for me here at their complex. If the trend of excellent service continues, I could see myself living here for the foreseeable future.
Front office is amazing! Very helpful since I moved in.
Great community to move to nice friendly staff lytia the assistant manager answered all questions & made the move in transition easy
The apartments are super clean and spacious! Beautiful new counters and appliances! The management is AMAZING! Sara and David at the front office were so personable and caring, and made the process so easy! We were able to move in within 24 hours! The area surrounding it is great. Shopping centers galore and only 10 mins from downtown Austin! Highly recommend living here!
Parking is horrible. You will battle for a parking spot. They will not tell you how bad the parking actually is. If you have a truck you will not fit in many parking spots. They will attempt to charge you 238 for carpet cleaning on the way out so be careful
Unfortunately, this place is not the best. The facilities are dirty (pool) and not cleaned up often. The parking spots are not big enough to fit a car in. Its almost as if they realized they had to meet some regulation for the amount of parking spots needed for a complex of this size, and therefore had to make them all smaller than the size of one car. A lot of cars take up 2 whole spots because they cant fit in one. The gates are often broken, and when I moved out they tried to charge me extra because they wanted to repaint the place. I also remember one night I had two trash bags, and I put one next to the trash can. $50 fine, immediately. No warning. I really didnt know about the rule. Thats how this place operates. Theres no relationship between the staff and the residents. Its really just a business to try to get the most money out of the residents. I wouldnt recommend this complex to anyone moving to Austin
From taking a tour to having keys in hand for my own apartment, the process couldnt have been any easier! We stopped by earlier than our appointment time, but the staff were very welcoming and helpful nonetheless. Sara and David in the front office are rock stars in the work they do here. Its obvious pretty quickly that theyre laser focused on providing great service to all the residents here -- they truly went out of their way to make our experience a great one. The grounds are clean, quiet, and modern here. If youre trying to find a great apartment in Austin with an amazing staff, this is it ... trust me I checked everywhere!
Please just fix the parking issue, it is out of control. For how much it costs to live here we shouldn’t have to fight for a place to park nightly. Let alone fight to park in the covered spaces we pay extra for monthly. Hire an attendant, or figure out a way to monitor the extra people not parking in the visitor or dog park lot because this is AWFUL. I pay $60 a month for a covered space and have already had to tow 2 cars in September alone. PLEASE FIX THIS, I did not resign for another year just to stress over this issue daily.
Horrible staff, very unhelpful. Beware Application fees and deposit is taken at time of application amounting to $550.00 dollars and even with a 620 credit score and a $10,000.00 a Month income if you get denied they only refund you $350.00 which they say they will mail you in check form 30 DAYS LATER. Very displeased as this info was not provided prior to the application nor where the expectations for approval made clear (even though Im still not clear on what they are considering my income and credit should have been more then acceptable!) They encouraged me to apply and said You should be able yo get approval no problem! Beware of this application scam they are making money off people every day and providing no services!!!
My boyfriend and I just moved to Texas from Ohio, and have been trying to find a good apartment to rent through. They charge you $400 to either move in, or get denied. We were told that there was a fee application fee, and our money would be refunded back to us upon denial or move in date. We got denied, and we are still currently waiting for our money back, they are saying NOW it was only going to be refunded upon move in date. We have called a ridiculous amount of times, they will not tell us WHY we got denied, and still giving us the run around on our money being refunded. They are practically robbing people who are in need of a place to stay.
Great property! The property managers and the front office team are great and are always quick to respond to requests!
I just moved in so granted, I’m still in the honeymoon phase. The pool is gorgeous; it’s quiet; the grounds are kept clean; people keep to themselves.I have a few reasons I have rated it 4 stars and will update if these things are addressed: people have their dogs off leash a lot—dangerous when you have kids or a sick/traumatized dog.
Don’t move here. They are super shady. They overcharge after a price has been set, they always try to gouge you for more money and they lie all the time. There is 1000 other apartment complexes in Austin you could move to. The gym and pool always have issues of things being broken, there is always broken glass in the halls and on the sidewalk. People cars are constantly broken into. If I could give negative stars I would. When I moved out on 4/27 they charged me rent until May 4th even though I had my apartment cleaned and the keys returned prior. My carpet was professionally cleaned and they are trying to charge me to replace it. The carpet is in perfect condition. Don’t move here!
We were told when applying that we would be receiving our application fees back if we were denied. We were denied and they are now holding our money and saying that we were never going to get that money back unless we were accepted. This place looks really nice, but careful when applying. They would not tell us why we were denied and are holding $250 hostage.
If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a joke. Do NOT move here and I repeat do NOT move here. Constant noise every single day. We signed the lease and the place was not ready to move in. The apartment wasn’t cleaned. We hired cleaners to clean the apartment the day we moved in. The buildings isn’t kept clean, very dirty in the hallways and the manager is horrible and doesn’t know what he’s doing. My truck was towed, I killed a scorpion in my apartment and witness a burglary at 3am. We only stayed here 3 months.
In short, save your money and go else where...Upon move-in day I was told I cant move yet, due to a leak that happened 30 min before picking up the keys, and then we were told that no other unit available even though their website shows 2 of the same floor plan are available nowI got a garage with my unit, and despite the apt not be available on time they wont give me access to the garage thats part of our lease. I cant even store my belonging while they made me homeless during the time it takes for them to make the apt available. And in the end they wont offer me any thing for these troubles nor will they even honor their move-in special either. They will promise anything to get your money but will only lie and let you down in the end.
I have lived at Concord for a year now and I will gladly renew for another year. I have to say the staff and neighbors are wonderful here. I have lived in other apartments before but I am the happiest here. I love that the management team is friendly and is always figuring out how to keep us happy, specially the new property manager Lydia, she went out of her way to help me out the other day. I would 100% recommend this place to my family and friends!
Worst place to live. They miss handle money, they dont keep their records up to date. Staff and manager have no idea what they are doing. Questions about how to pay something or charges cant be explained. When asked about. Then when you show up all they can tell you is there not responsible for miss placing money orders or they lie. Saying that they told you about prices for garages when they didnt.cars were broken into when we had over night security and now that we dont its worse but we still have to pay the same amount with no security. Over all place is trash and over priced.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
Terrible leasing management. Absolutely terrible. Nice grounds. Nice pool.
Ive been locating for over a decade and the professional, courteous, prompt style Celeste has for my clients is worth mentioning. I actually dont think Ive ever taken the time to leave a review for a leasing agent...All I could say is if your heading into Concord Apartments Id request to work with Celeste! She easily has managerial skills from a business minded standpoint.
I have had a not so good experience living here and I do not recommend this apartment complex. I have been here for about a year now, and almost done with my lease..thank god!Our elevator has been broken for almost a month and a half straight and been broken on and off for the remaining year. The management company says they are working on it, but not much progress has been made and barely any updates. Climbing up 4 huge flights of stairs every time my dog needs to go out to the bathroom is a HUGE inconvenience to say the least. Not only that but VERY hard on my bad knee. NOT WHAT WE PAID FOR...Also, there is dog poop all over the complex and the dog bags are not stocked regularly. The equipment in the gym is usually broken and has been for the last 5 months. The area behind complex is pretty sketchy and trash is dumped in the open area, and the complex doesnt feel the need to clean it because its not considered their property.I could go on and on...lets hope they can turn it around. Its a shame.
Love love love this place! Celeste and Efrain are great! I’ve been living here for a little over 6 months and have no complaints, the pool area is huge and i love the gym as well.
I never thought I was gonna review because its just an apartment but the concord makes it so much more. The staff are always super friendly. Work orders get completed quickly or they keep you updated on longer projects. There is lots of dogs which is cute but I have never had any issues with noise. The units are nice and the pool and gym are nice. They have events regularly. Overall a wonderful place to live.
THIS PLACE JUST STUPID
I moved into a new apartment, building 4, and it was the ideal place to live for the limited time i was there for work. No complaints, no noisy neighbors, clean, excellent pool and gym, plenty of parking, safe and close to downtown Austin. First management was superb and second management continued to be excellent. I would definitely recommend them to colleagues and will be my first apartment complex to consider when my work asks me to return to Austin.
Simply the best place in Austin to live! These are brand new built in 2016, extremely beautiful built with a cozy interior. Highly recommend this place. Staff are wonderful and super helpful. They have community events and are only 10-15 minutes from downtown Austin. Cant beat that. :)
Im so sad to hear about Ashley leaving and the management companies changing over. I can only hope the new one is as good as the team Allison had! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating through my living experience with them even when running into difficult problems, they did everything they could for me. The maintenance team is above expectation! I loved all the events they put on and the sense of community they provided. I hope to see original staff around. I am genuinely going to miss all of them. Good luck!
The regional sucks and so does the company no one move or work here I see them selling soon AGAIN !the temps scatter like roaches when they see all the work they have cut out for them. Don’t renew and don’t lease . EVERYONE THANK YOURE REGIONAL MANAGER CINDY FOR WHAT SHES DONE FOR CONCORD excellent way to waste money and lose tenants
Please, do not lease at CONCORD AUSTIN.If I could give this place a 0 I would. The apartment was sold and it’s under new management. The previous management was okay this new one is awful, extremely unprofessional specially Lacey Ellison.About the complex:-Gym: very small, machines were broke,Never repaired. During the summer the A/c was not working.-Apartments: floor plan does not make sense, rooms are small and living room area is huge.-Pool: for almost 2 months (July and August) the pool was broken and closed to the public.-Murder: Sadly there was somebody murdered in this property. Gates are always open, no security.-Outside lighting: for almost 2 weeks we did not have outside lighting on the hallways on building 4. Took them a month to repair it.I would check other management companies and other properties that would take care of you and your family better like CWS
Not happy about the ugly residential buildings they destroyed beautiful wilderness for. Not only is it ugly as sin, these apartments are going to bring in a ridiculous amount of traffic to the area, adding to the increasing traffic congestion we who live in this neighborhood already have to deal with. Thanks a lot, you greedy jerks! They didnt put any thought into that when they ruined pristine land to put their eyesore on. We dont need more housing in the area. Especially when traffic is already bad enough! Thanks to these new apartment complexes, my commute that was once 10 minutes to get to work in the morning is now 20.And not only that, theyve contributed to climate change with their deforestation of this land that was once so beautiful to pass by whenever Id drive through Bluff Springs. Why must every bit of untouched land be up for grabs to these greedy, money-grubbing developers?? Im fed up with you people encroaching on wilderness, evicting wildlife (I used to see deer, raccoons, possum, and other wildlife in this area. Not anymore!), and contributing to global warming by tearing down trees, and ruining the environment, not to mention encouraging over-population and over-crowding by inviting more residents to the area. STOP IT ALREADY!!!
First year living here was great but as soon they changed management the place wen downhill! Now everything is falling apart, they were blaming the previous management. Maintenance have no clue of what they are doing! almost had the place flooded, building having structural issues and every time it rains water comes in thru walls, never was fixed properly. Crime is going up here, they broke in to my vehicle, another vehicle was left on bricks and it’s been there for weeks!
As an apartment locator that works in the South Austin area, I can honestly say that Concord South is one of my favorite places to work with. The leasing staff and management are extremely professional and the complex always shows wonderfully. If youre looking for a new home definitely pay a visit to the incredible community!
New management sucks. Used to be great. 2 stars because the units are nice if they would ever come and fix the leak damage :(
Everyone with Concord has been so helpful. Allison is always communicating with me which I think is very important. All the hassle of searching, and moving is less stressful because of all the help Allison has given me. The property is beautiful and so are the living spaces. I am eager to see the Concord community grow, and on a final note I love their Instagram you have to check it out!
I was getting ready to start an application online for a new lease but I had some questions first. Every time i tried to call their number, there was an automated answer and one ring then it hangs up, i tried over 10 times. That experience alone makes me not want to move in anymore because I cannot get my own questions answered and this shows me that I wouldn’t be able to get ahold of the front desk staff in the future.
The most unprofessional people Ive ever seen in my life.Pros of this apartment complex:1. Location2. Newer building3. This is itCons:Ive rented 7 different apartments in various locations and countries, and so far, this is the worst customer service Ive ever seen. This place has a beautiful leasing office, and this can give a good impression of this apartment complex. Ive seen 5 different apartments in the area and thought that Concord is a good deal and decided to sign a lease.NOW I REGRET THISI had to come there in person 3 times because my leasing agent asked me to bring some paperwork and documents in the office. When I was in the office, they asked me to email them those documents. No one apologized for wasting my time and bringing inconveniences to my schedule.THIS IS THE WAY YOU WILL ALWAYS BE TREATED HERE!The staff is poorly trained to use their software, and I was able to download my lease one day before move-in.I had an issue with my bank account, and my first automatic payment didnt go through. There was a fine of 75$ for the late payment - I went to the office to figure out what is the problem and the lady in the office PROMISED that they would waive it after I bring the cashiers check. 20 minutes later she said that she didnt tell me that.Wow! But ok.2 weeks ago my bicycle was stolen from my patio. I live on the 2nd floor that is quite high from the ground and my patio doesnt face any public roads, etc. They say that this community is gated - yes and no.It took them 1.5 months to repair the back gate. Another gate is open to the public for the last 3 months. 2 months ago the Manager answered my email and said that they are looking for a vendor who will fix the gate.IT NEVER HAPPENED, and the gate is still open to all homeless guys that we have in the neighborhood.Yesterday my hot water disappeared. I called the leasing office at 11 am, and Devante told me that maintenance will come soon. At 2 pm, he told me that he will give me a call back in 10 min and will let me know when the maintenance guy will come. He never called back.At 4.30 pm he told me that he is alone in the office and he has a lot of other stuff to do. At 5.30 pm, I came to the office, and he told me that they have 24 to 48 hours to respond to service requests.Today in the morning I came at 10 am in the office, and he told me that the maintenance will come by the end of the day. When I asked for a time window, he said they couldnt give it because the whole building 6 is out of power. I told him that I dont have hot water since last morning. His argument was that the whole building 6 has no power.I never heard an apology from him or anyone else.I write reviews only when Im super excited about the service, and only when things are bad, I mean really bad.Things to know when you will move-in here:1) parking - the lanes painted on the parking are too narrow. Id say it would be good parking for owners of mini cooper or fiat, but not if you have a full-size car. After 8-9 pm it is a bit problematic to find a parking spot.2) Service requests - you will never receive a call from a serviceman and it takes significant time to send a maintenance person. Pest control came 2 weeks after my request was submitted3) Territory - if something is wrong and is not in a visible distance from the windows of a leasing office it will never be fixed. There are broken lights, trash, poop that is being around for months.4) Cleanliness - They have a Valet trash pickup and sometimes they pick up all trash bags from the hallways, sometimes trash is left. Overall hallways are always dirty, and if the hallway is not on the way of the Property manager - it will be dirty all the time.5) Theft - this is not the best area of Austin, lock your belongings on the patio. Everyone has free access to the premises - management is aware of the situation, but didnt do anything.Advice for the management: teach your reps some good manners and hire more servicemen instead of YOGA teacher.
UPDATE! I’ve lived here for a year now these last two months however have been under new management. Right off the bat I had a bad experience with Lydia the new property manager, so bad I decided I wasn’t going to renew.. that is until I had the pleasure of meeting Kia in the office. She was so helpful and made me feel happy again to call this place my home. She let me know of all my options with a smile and it’s takes so much stress off knowing that someone is willing to listen to me as a human not just as a tenant they want more money from. (Unlike what I got from Lydia as well as one of their corporate managers) THANK YOU KIA YOU ARE AMAZING!
Never have maintenance on time and elevators are always broken. Parked in the front area and my car was broken into so started parking inside the gate just to have my car towed by the same people that won’t do anything about stolen items. Always late to answer back when a broken dryer complaint is made. Management is rude and never call back. Have made pest control complaints as well and rarely got back with us. Would not recommend.
***Update*** I am very unhappy with the way staff has treated issues since the new management has come on. Since new management has come several months ago I have NOT ONCE received a call back for any messages Ive left. Ive been at these apartments nearly since they opened, now almost 3 years coming up. Ive never paid late, and the one time I did last month I couldnt even get my late fees waived?? Really?! Yet they will gladly will take my money and not do proper maintenance such as my emergency request (called 3x today and an online request) for no A/C in this Texas summer. Not had a running washing machine in 12 days now despite three online requests and a voicemail left yesterday. We used to have access to the 24/7 fitness room WHICH WAS GREAT because I work overnights. Not anymore since new management and same for the clubhouse which is no longer even for us residents after like 5-6pm unless reserved. Lol what a joke. I used to love living here and previous management was wonderful and extremely helpful. These are only my current problems, not even the other things Ive dealt with since they have been in charge. Went from 5 stars to 2 stars. 2 stars because its still a decent property, if only management could get their shit together as well as give back the amenities we PAY FOR. I couldnt even access the fitness room or clubhouse today at 2pm for whatever reason locked and my fob would not work?!Staff are amazing. Been here for about 10 months now and love it.
I would like to recognize Trish the Leasing Agent. She is the best Ive come across in Austin Austin to date. Professional, personable, attentive & diligent. She is worth the price of admission.
I was looking for an apartment in Austin, and happened to drive past the entrance to Concord. I drove in to the complex and immediately thought it would be way out of my price range, but since I was there, stopped at the office. Much to my surprise, they had available apartments with all the amenities Id dreamed of within my price range!! The office staff was amazing. Trish spent a good deal of time with us as we looked at the complex and model apartments. We decided right then that this was the complex for us. I cant wait to move in.
I was visiting my friend who was trying to convince me to move in with him here when he resigns. There wasn’t any visitor spots open so I parked in one of the hundred open spots. They towed me. It cost me $230 it cost them 2 years of rent from me and my friend. Save your money! move in someplace that doesn’t forget/ignore maintenance request.
They are the BEST!! The ladies all were so helpful. I love them!!
I have lived here for less than a month and I am on the 5th day without AC. It is over 100 degrees outside and they have made no effort to fix our situation. Maintenance came in to the apartment when nobody was here, replaced the filter, AND DID NOT FIX THE AC which makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. I was told there would be no management on duty all weekend, as well as NO EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE on call. It is almost 90 degrees in our apartment and management refuses to email or call us back. The heat has become a health hazard at this point. DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE.
Please see the other one star reviews from Kelsey S. and Taylor S., they’re accurate.I also recommend looking up the APD crime reports for this location (they have weekly reports under the address “7330 Bluff Springs” on their site).
The entire process at Concord has been the biggest headache. When I applied for an apartment (Aug. 5th), the girl in the front office didn’t know anything. Any time I asked a question the answer was “I’m not sure, I’ll have to check” which sounds ok — at least she’s trying to help, but when I ask a leasing agent about the square footage of a specific plan I expect them to know that at the very least, but I digress. On our tour she stepped outside to take a personal call and disappeared for about 5 minutes.I ended up not signing a lease (notified them Aug. 8th) and I am barely getting my money back after calling someone from another apartment complex from the same company. On top of having wait almost TWO MONTHS for my refund, they rarely answered the phone and when they did and I had questions, surprise surprise: they didn’t know anything! It was extremely frustrating to deal with these incompetent leasing agents and even residents who came into the office had difficulty getting information about things going on with their apartment (a/c units, pool questions, mail issues). Please do yourself a favor and skip concord. The pictures look nice, but given my application experience and the complaints from people who actually live here I would never ever recommend this place.Edit: For some reason the envelope was ripped open and my check was torn. These people do not respect tenants (or prospects).
This complex is beautiful and the staff are very welcoming and kind. Brittany was especially helpful and a pleasure to work with! Although my roommate and I did not sign here because it was a bit out of our price range, we enjoyed the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff.
Spacious units, beautiful location and friendly staff. Definitely have enjoyed living here. Just minutes from downtown.
Very nice apartments, Im moving from NC and it was difficult trying to find a nice place in a decent location. After I saw the property, I knew this would be a great home to start my new life. Sometimes you have to pay a little more to be comfortable...Concord apts here I come! Thanks Brittany for the warm welcome.
Dont move here!!! Constant issues with appliances and parking situation is REALLY BAD!!!! You will get TOWED here. The tow company will DAMAGE your car! Management has no cameras to protect residence. A lot of CRIME!
Worst apartments ever. They have the worst stuff since they changed mangers never would live here again. Too much money for the apartments. Everything was better before they changed. Dont waste your time and money on this place.
Love the amenities, new management does suck had requested mx to come fix my AC no one had showed up never received a call back
Just moved here. I have asked 4 times for the same repairs, but yet they haven’t fixed anything. They just smile, say they will send someone to fix it but nothing happens. Is a shame because the community is nice but have the worst management.
One of the worst decisions was signing a lease with these people. The location is horrible and management is a complete joke. Thank god we signed a new lease with people who actually care. Any issue you have, management will blame someone else or simply ignore you. If management gave a damn, this might be a great place. Best feeling was washing my hands of this place and management.
Parking lot nightmare. On my last stretch of my lease and I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I get home around 9pm and of course theres no parking. I find a tiny compact spot and my car is normal size,I wake up the next day to go to work and my car is missing. Towed n Management dont give a damn.
Sketchy and incompetent. I TRIED to lease here- complete waste of time and money.
I currently live here and if I could give this place a zero I would. 1 star is way too much! Talk about poor poor management!! Who sends a freaking email that the resident portal is being deactivated the day before it actually is?? So now every resident is basically forced to pay with a cashiers or personal check and drop it off at the leasing office like it was 2007! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
This place is trash. Someone got shot and died here. If you want the proof just look up concord apts shooting. The police are always here and the gates are always broken so they stay open. What’s the point in paying to live in a gated complex if they don’t even work? Also the guy at the front desk named Efren is no help and lazy. They really need some staff who care about their tenants.
* **update*** please listen to everyone saying be carful cause they will deny you for no reason and keep your money they did the same to me ! I was assured by office staff I would be approved because I was reluctant because their fees were so high then it took them over 2 weeks to tell me my application was denied and won’t tell me why then only refunded half of the 500 in application fees I paid it was just a horrible experience very unprofessional.
Do not waste your time/money applying hereI would give it 0 stars if i could. Had the worst experience here. Me and my roommates applied on May 30th, a week pasted no word on if we have been approved or not. I go to check if we did something wrong the second week waiting, only to not have the leasing agemt incharge of our application there. So another angent helped me, only to say I cant say anything your leasing agent is the one with the access. I said ok, they said she should be back the next day and we are being put as #1 priority. But, a week passes by no call or anything so my roommate calls or visits cant remember but they did the worst thing to me. They told my roommate they gave me all the info when i visited the past week. Which was a huge lie, and it was the manager who said that. I never spoke to her at all. We then gave up and just chose to go somewhere else. I recommend you do the same, it isnt worth the stress. So in all this drama we lost $300.
Could not be happier about my decision to move here. Beautiful property. Wonderful amenities and an office staff that is top notch. Check it out. YOU wont be sorry!
I am leaving this review in the format in which i had to contact the property manager to in making my apartment semi livable.1. I have not been able to use my own bathroom because the bathtub is not usable. Kia saw this first hand and even said its unacceptable herself. Why will you require me to use the bathtub this way? I am a new tenant, I am paying my full rent and applied like everyone else yet I am being forced to live in a degrading situation and nobody including yourself cares to do a thing about it.2. The day I moved in I noticed rusting almost everywhere, in the bathtub, sinks in the bathrooms and kitchen taps.3. This apartment was not ready to be moved in to on our original move in date on the 22nd, on the 24th it was not either. There is pet dander everywhere and I expressly stated to Kia that this makes me sick as i am allergic. Your cleaning lady nonchalantly ran through the apartment to make some spots cleaner and even though she did this, the apt was still messy.4. My microwave light bulb was not working and I asked for this to be replaced as well as the shower heads that are rusted, lightbulbs that are flickering in the guest bathroom and the stove top. The garbage disposal shoots out mess when it’s turned on in the other sink.5. I moved in on the 24th the next day started seeing large cockroaches in the kitchen on the stove, on my bed!6. Your negligence as a property manager baffles me. This a job for someone with a level of empathy and respect for others. Kia reiterates my messages to you and you have refused to do anything about it.7. My air conditioning does not work. Someone can we go fix it and left a note that another person will have to do something about it. Nobody came!
Do not move here. Besides being dangerous and unsafe, it is impossible to get in contact with the office unless you take time off work to go up in person during business hours. Someone will reply to this review because it makes them look bad, but I will still have multiple emails and messages go unreturned about being double charged for a utility. I’ve lived in Austin my entire life and the recent management change is by far the most inefficient and inconvenient debacle I’ve ever had to deal with. Multiple residents have voiced similar problems and nothing is being changed.
Old original post ------------} read all the way to the bottom. Original post was 5 stars8/14/2016Pool is amazing.... Gym is very nice and large... Game room with the giant TV and retro arcade center plus 2 Foosball tables and a pool table are way high-end and fun. We love the apartments. The kitchens have lots of storage and cabinets space and make it fun to cook at home. The staff(original staff) is the best ever...10/20/2017UPDATE>>>>This place is an overpriced dump!!!The first year with the original management was freaking awesome. But since they went with the low life crappy management this place has been just horrible. Everything is falling apart!!! The new maintenance crew have absolutely no clue what they are doing. Everything on the property is covered in dirt from the construction still going on. This management company needs to be fired!!!3/28/2018Gotta love the fresh diapers at the pool area. Kindly asked the people to please put the diapers in the trash and said they didnt have to... Because they dont live here. Yay!!!....5/15/2018So, now that we have lived here for almost two years we get an email stating we are in violation of our rent agreement and they may force us to be evicted. The email stated that we do not have and never have had renters insurance. Even though we have had insurance since day one and have the proof of this. Ughhhh this office staff!!! Plus I had Amazon deliver something and it was dropped off at the office and somehow it is missing. Im guessing theyre mad at me for my kind review. Im sure it got trashed.
DeAnte is so sweet and helpful your maintenance guys are great Im happy to live here!
Roaches, I can hear my upstairs neighbors stomping till 3am, my neighbors directly next to me play music so loud my walls vibrate, my car has been broken into, and when it was freezing outside my heater wasnt working and I put in multiple requests yet no one actually ever fixed it for me. The key fobs they provide to residents dont even work on the building gates as me and multiple residents have talked about this. Its overpriced as well for the area of town. Do not recommend and cant wait to move out. This place is terrible
We love Concord Apartments Everything is Way Better Than We Expected, Everything is updated lovely lounge with games nice fleet screen tv and theyre gym is actually 24 hours which is hard to find Neighboors are friendly Its Just A Great Place To Live
The new maintenance guy very professional and cute job well done
DON’T MOVE HERE! My 1 year lease is up this month thank GOD. When I first moved in I was excited. It was just me and my 1 year old daughter and fresh out of living in a home and back into the apartment scene I thought I vetted it well. I am a tech professional in my early thirties. I was looking for something quiet. Since then I have experienced the following: thin walls, loud upstairs neighbors, shared air vents so you can smell other apartments (gross!!!!), lots of loitering and smoking even though this is a smoke-free property. ROACHES. Of all sizes. No matter what you do. I take my trash out every day and don’t cook much and still.. roaches. Pool has been shut down and broken inexplicably for several days at a time, I have been charged random late fees, trash fees etc. Residents are constantly being emailed to clean up after their pets, but the pet waste bins are always full and there is no landscaping. My car was towed overnight at my own expense for being parked in an unmarked space next to an electric charging station, and the next morning I had to take an Uber with my 1 year old WITHOUT A CARSEAT to retrieve it. My parking tag was displayed and when I complained and requested they at least cover the tow charge, my multiple emails and calls were ignored. Management has changed at least 3x since I’ve lived here. Granted, I don’t expect perfection but they are very disorganized. Today (4/9/19) I received a call that I had not sent in my lease renewal letter. I actually submitted it on 1/29/19 and have now submitted it three times. I’ve had so many suspicious charges on my account but I don’t even argue with these people because of the opportunity cost of what it takes to get ahold of them. Furthermore, what the other reviews are saying about the crime is true. Now that I’ve lived here I think being so close to W. Cannon makes it sketchy. It seems the longer I’ve lived here, the trashier the tenants have gotten. There are some decent looking apartments behind Southpark Meadows if you’re really committed to this area. The last thing I will say is that the maintenance guys— Adam, Omar, D... they are so nice and so cool. I hope they didn’t get let go with the recent management transition.
When I first came to look and lease, they said that my apartment was brand new that no one had lived there before. I also paid extra for a pool view. My pool view is half a wall with tables and chairs on top. When I picked up my keys, the apartment was still not ready. Maintenance was still inside getting the apartment move in ready. There were still dishes left in the cabinets and dishwasher. There were also clothes in the washer and dryer. I commented on all those things on my move in survey. The manager Justin called and emailed me the next day. He gave me a credit towards my rent and said that I could move units if I would like free of charge. When I tried to move units, Tracy told me that I would have to pay $500.Since we moved in my dishwasher wasn’t working properly because it was missing a part that holds the rack in place. Therefore, the rack was either stuck or falling. Maintenance had to order the part. A month later I submitted another work order because they never came back to fix it. They claimed that the part had just came in.There are ROACHES. I requested pest control. Meanwhile, I put roach traps. Pest control didn’t do nothing. They just said the traps were a good thing, but they didn’t provide any additional. I paid for those even though there is a charge for pest control. In December, I asked Vicky for permission to cut a cake for my Brother’s graduation in the resident lounge. She gave me permission. The security guard KICKED OUT my guests while I was picking up the cake from the cake decorator’s house. They said that the security guard asked them my apartment number and took pictures of them.My Dryer broke down and it took them about 2 weeks to get it fixed. I asked to use an empty unit’s dryer, but Tracy said that they had done that in the past and they could no longer allow it. When the whirlpool employee came to fix it, he said to be careful because if it happened again that I might be getting billed for it.The valet trash staff are a nightmare. I have received multiple notices. One time, they ripped the bag when they pulled it out and they left it there and they left me a notice saying to tie the trash bags. I have received multiple notices for the trash bags weighing more than 25lbs. I don’t have a scale to weigh my trash bags. I received a notice yesterday for multiple bags of trash on the ground. They took the trash bags on the ground, but they left the trash bags in the container. I still received a $25 trash violation today. There is DOG POOP EVERYWHERE. I found dog poop in front of my door and on my balcony twice. I called both times about the dog poop in front of my door. Both times Vicky answered the phone. She asked me if I knew who was the dog owner and which dog it was. The first time, she said there was no one at the time to clean it. It took them about a week for them to clean it. The second time, she had me emailed her pictures. They cleaned it the next day. I just sweep off the dog poop on my balcony twice. The complex is really NOT a free smoking complex.I submitted my 60 days notice to Efrain because the renewal letter was for the same price. I’m currently paying $1600 for the longhorn floor plan plus a garage. Even though, rent for my current floor plan is starting at $1386. My current apartment has already been listed for $1395. He tried to give it to me for more than that including the one month free rent. He tried saying that I was paying more for being on the first floor and having a pool view. I also told him about my upstairs neighbors being too noisy. He seemed careless about my concerns. Nothing has been done. The current manager TRACY is never available for her residents concerns. You always have to deal directly with Efrain and Vicky.I’M GLAD TO BE LEAVING THIS COMMUNITY. I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE THAT I SURVIVED A WHOLE YEAR PAYING $1600 TO LIVE IN THIS DUMP OF A PLACE.
Way too hard to get in touch with anybody. The phone rings without an answer every time I call the office, no matter what time or day. I guess they dont want my money
Love it been hear for 8 months a bit pricey just went under new owner raised the rent cant afford it for what it is so we will be moving hear in about 3 months at concord you at for what you get.
New staff not so good. Move out experience is going pretty bad, try to get you with a 60 day minimum notice even though your lease ends at a specified date. So you end up having to pay extra rent even though you won’t live there anymore.
Bad service, bad actitud, and liars in special the manager They told me that they were going to give references if you recommended someone, they brought me several flights and several months and the last one they did not find the page where it says that I recommendI do not know if its because Im Mexican
Staff is great!
This place is terrible rip off, over priced and fake.
Don’t move here
From the first day I came to apply, the office staff was very attentive when I was accepted, the assistant Lidia Albizu attended me very kind and very professionalThe property maintains a good cleanliness and the atmosphere in general is very pleasant
Hello, I was received by Lidia Albizu and I was very surprised by her professionalism and dedication to her work.Since she arrives, she is always super concerned about her residents. The apartments are very nice and there is a lot of tranquility.
From the first day Lidia has taken care of me very well. He has communicated with me very professionally. She is very friendly and always ready to serve people. I am fine living here at Concord Apartments. My name is Alberto Mora.
