Austin Luxury Realty is a great property management firm!I had a horrible experience with my prior property management company not renting a unit for over eight months While covering the rent payments and charging me a 10% interest rate. I told myself I would never use a property management company again.Until I tried Austin Luxury Realty. They had a very reasonable monthly fee as well as an easy to use owner portal where I could see all collections and payments as well as late fees and other costs associated with the property. I could easily keep an eye on the situation and it was easy to monitor. That is important and crucial as an owner.When I had horrible tenants leave a property abandoned and abused, Austin Luxury Realty helped me sort out the issue and assess the damages. They also helped me collect additional fees above the deposit in order to cover my expenses. That is very rare in a property management company. They even have easy access to the owner if you need an escalation point.Feel free to contact me directly if you would like a reference on this company. Well focused and engaged property management companies are hard to find. Austin Luxury Realty is one of those companies.

Patrick Connell went above and beyond to not only meet my expectations but exceed them. I had an extremely short time frame with specific needs that had to be met. Property owner considering a management company? Nothing to see here. The agent assigned to my account is unresponsive and seemingly unable or unwilling to handle simple issues relating to the property. If you want to throw money at them to be a middle man, but still have to handle trivial problems on your own, knock yourself out. I, for one, am extremely dissatisfied since I hired them so I didnt have to stress about things like HOA fines due to landscaping.

I moved home to Texas after living in San Francisco for 3 years. Andrew Holbrook was incredibly helpful during this process. The Austin housing market was on fire this summer, highly competitive rental market, but Andrew made me feel like a priority. I used Nick Nikolopoulos from Austin Luxury Realty as my agent for a rental that actually was posted with 1836 realty. The mass amount of issues that I have had with 1836 are an entirely different story - However, Nick with ALR was an excellent realtor. He helped me in every step of the process of dealing with them, was extremely flexible when it came to showings, he was very quick and professional with all of his communication with me. I would 100% recommend them to anyone in Austin and truly wish that ALR is who had my home listed so that I could have avoided 1836 altogether. All in all, 5 stars for my experience with this company!

As far as apartment hunting, only use these guys if you want to do all the work and let them take the finders fee. Worst apt hunting experience of my life. Be prepared to be abandoned at 1st sign of application issues.Apt hunter, Cortney, had me check out of hotel and Uber across Austin, in the pouring rain, with all my luggage, under pretext of moving in. Only on arrival was it disclosed that there was an issue with app. Courtney later shows up long enough to dump me and all my luggage at a prev apt we looked at.Does not even stick around long enough to see I got moved in... Which I did not.Fiasco cost me extra night in hotel, 100 in Uber and full day of work.Subsequent hunter with different company was very good and had no problem working through any hiccup on my app.The apt the Courtney referred me to then proceeded to Xfer 575.00 from my checking acct 2 days later. ???The Issue is still being investigated by personal bank.

He put the house on the MLS and handled all the showing, set up a drop box, vetted the applicants and ran background checks, and even provided all the lease and pet agreement documents that were better than the free ones Id been using.
