I currently live at Link apartment and i feel safe ( and the whole community is great). Jillian has helped me with any questions that I had. The building looks old from the outside but the inside got remodeled ! Can’t wait to make my apartment feels like home!
Jillian in the front is great, but the apartment complex is terrible. There have been severe plumbing issues for the last 6 months. Multiple times I’ve gone to take a shower and not been able to. Water is frequently turned off to do maintenance. And now there is no maintenance person on site. Management really needs to make some drastic changes. Also, if you have an emergency maintenance issue on the weekend. You’re completely on your own.
I a former employee of link as maintenance and had to step away from my job placement due to the fact no reassurance was ever given to me in regards to my pay check and here I am 3 months later and still not paid this is the most unprofessional conduct Ive ever received from a employer and I was assured by Jillian that I would have a check by the 7th for a check I should of received 3 months back and well that day has came and went. So instead of taking care of this issue of misconduct I am having to take the proper steps with Texas workforce commission In order to receive a check I am owed wow. A complex that has np Im sure putting someone out for no payment of rent though. This is to much I was even asked to take down last review cause it was gonna be handled but it wasnt and I have a family to support as well as Im sure everyone else does that works as well and the fact they lied and havent paid me says alot about them as a company corporation and shows and displays unethical procedures
Ive really enjoyed my living experience at Link for the last 2 years! I always felt safe, had ample free parking, and had relatively quiet neighbors. The new residential manager Heather has also been fantastic to work with and the maintenance crew is so quick and kind! This was the most affordable 1 bed 1 bath place with in-unit washer dryer and non-assigned parking I could find, and I dont regret living here at all. People have plenty to say about Riverside, but I dont think weve ever had a break-in at the complex and frankly I feel like everything is accessible from this location.
Jillian went above and beyond to make our move in process so smooth. The place is beautiful and the manager is always willing to assist.
Very happy with the new property manager gilean! She’s very understanding and helpful
As Amanda stated before me DO NOT MOVE HERE unless you enjoy living without air conditioning in the summer heat.Mine has been out for 19 days and counting. The last time anyone even attempted to do anything about it was 5 days ago when they sent the third maintenance man who knew nothing about HVAC. The manager takes several days to return emails, if she even bothers to, dodges phone calls and doesnt return voicemails. Any suggestion of calling an actual HVAC contractor has been ignored and she refuses to give her supervisors information. The only thing that has been offered to me in all 19 days was a busted window AC unit (after I had already spent $200 of my own money on high powered fans) that would require my first floor window to be propped open. The neighboring complex is a crack den. That is not safe. They do not care about their tenants well being. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
Jillian went above and beyond to help me out! Nice property and shes super friendly!
Terrible property management. Lip service only. Bad sound proofing, overflowing garbage, broken water heater and ac units, pool gets filled with algae, and homeless steal your packages. On top of that, the property management will steal your deposit almost no matter what.
DO NOT MOVE HERE! Unless you like your apartment getting up to 92 degrees, have the water constantly get shut off, and do not want to get email responses or calls back from management. Most poorly run place I have ever lived in.I put in requests starting in May of 2020 due to issues with my AC, they FINALLY had a REAL technician come look at it in mid-July, since their maintenance clearly does not know what he is doing. They finally sent someone to fix it the day I was moving. I had to purchase a personal AC unit and move because no one came to fix my AC and it got up to 92 degrees in my apartment, 3 days in a row. Did they reimburse me for the AC I purchased? No, they just let me out of my lease early because they do not abide by the housing laws, good job Link Apartments!A list of other issues...-The water was CONSTANTLY getting shut off, I went with out water for over 24 hours on one occasion and it went off at least 7 times total in the 10 month period that I lived there.-I had a horrible smell from under the sink, was it inspected? NO! A gap, the size of softball was simply filled in with foam.-microwave did not work properly and was supposedly ordered months ago-door did not have a metal bracket for months after maintenance supposedly ordered it (this is illegal to not have the door properly secured)-silverfish-maintenance came into my apartment without a mask MULTIPLE times in the middle of a pandemic-maintenance came into my apartment without shoes on once-maintenance brought in an uncontracted individual, so a stranger, into my apartment, also without a mask-I purchased a personal AC unit so I could actually sleep at night, my cat was afraid of it and ended up throwing up multiple times from the heat/stress.-I had a temporary AC unit put in when maintenance was fixing my AC once and it was installed with cardboard and tape with a HUGE gap at the top. With this temporary AC unit, I was not able to have anything else running in my living room or the power would go out (TV, lamp, toaster, etc.)-My most recent electric bill is over $200 because the AC was running, but not working, my previous two electric bills were also near that amount.
Cute, stylish and affordable apartments close to downtown, biking trails and water activities. You seriously can’t beat the price for all that the area has to offer! The management team is always on the ball and takes great care of their residents : )
I have lived at Link for a few months now and couldnt ask for a better place to call home. My neighbors are awesome, Kaylie is always bubbly and quick to help. Maintenance is very quick..just needed air filter change but he was there the same day. I also love being so close to everything especially the park and downtown.
Ive been at Link for a few months now, and am very happy with my decision. My experiences with management thus far have all been positive and I have encountered no major issues. All my maintenance requests have been addressed much faster than expected. The apartment itself is nice enough—good for the price in my opinion.
I have lived at Link for almost a year and I must say that this property has delivered. The proximity to Downtown, walking distance to the lake and a couple of nightlife spots make it easy to be adventurous and stay active. Management and the residents here have definitely created a great environment! 5 stars!
Three years later, Im still in love with this property. The management and maintenance team have shown consistently that they are reliable, responsive, and professional. The location is flawless, it has every amenity we need and were always well taken care of.
Ive lived at Link for two of the ten years Ive been in Austin and have never loved a complex more. The apartments are beautiful and stylish, I get so many compliments from friends on how great they look. And most importantly to my mind, the staff is so friendly and accommodating. After suffering some health problems this past summer, everyone went out of their way to do whatever possible to make things easier on me during my recovery. Link really has it all, it looks great, the neighbors are friendly, and the staff is the best in Austin. If youre looking for a great place to love surrounded by great peolpe, you wont find a better place in town.
This complex was a fantastic place to call home until I unfortunately had to relocate for work! The location is fantastic; close to great food, walking distance to great bars, and you can easily jump on the highway. Now that I have moved I really see just how great the prices were and just how well the tenants are treated at this location. The staff is extremely friendly, Kaylie knows everyone by name and makes an effort to stop and always says hi. I would definitely recommend living here to anyone looking for new spot to live.
Being a realtor in Austin Texas who has seen all the properties Austin has to offer, I fell in love with the Link apartments based on their location, and the amazing interior finnishes being offered at a great value price. I moved in three years ago and the staff has always been on top of any requests promptly. Jessica Slaven is one of the best property managers I have gotten to know and its been a pleasure getting to know her.
Ive lived here since 2013 and love it. There have been hiccups along the way as is natural with any residence. Javier, the maintenance man is phenomenal and always very responsive and happy to help. Regina in the front office is always quick to help when it comes to waiting for a special package, getting a fax or letting you in to your apartment if you lost a key. The community is very friendly, love my neighbors and the summer vibes. Ive lived in 3 different buildings and probably enjoy the one ET to leasing office most, back side can get noisy but to be expected since youre in a bustling city. Highly recommend!
I previously posted a positive review here however there has been new management and I can no longer recommend this place. Run away as fast as you can.
Location, Location, Location. This place is a great value price for location, the staff is on top of any requests, the managers that it had and has are great to work with and neighbors are pretty cool and is why I have lived at Link for 4 years.
Dont be fooled by management leaving 5 star reviews on here. Living here was a year of hell for me. Just a couple things I had to deal with living in this horrendous Roscoe property: German roach infestations, flea markets right outside your window playing loud music all day every weekend, poor management that will treat you terribly even if your a good resident whos pays rent on time, being over charged for BS services, no management available on the weekends when there are crazy pool parties with DJs going down outside your window, stepping in dog poo every time you walk out your front door, bums sleeping on your stoop, moving all your items out of your bathrooms and kitchen cabinets multiple times a month for pest control (they sprayed our entire kitchen with poison and it smelled toxic for weeks), drug dealers and prostitutes living next door.
I really have no idea what the one star reviewers are ranting about. I think theyre just mostly people that get upset when theres too much foam in their latte and have never lived in a major city before.Yes, this complex is in riverside and yes, people have fun on weekends here. But thats what makes it great, LOTS of community (all my neighbors were amazing) and its a great location in an up and coming neighborhood.More importantly, management was always friendly to me and made an effort to know me as well. When there was a hiccup with my paperwork when I needed to break my lease, the regional manager was super accommodating since I had always paid my rent on time and had no citations. I have lived in about 7 apartments- all in major cities across the continent- and this was my best experience to date.
