I booked a couple of appointments for my mom and she absolutely loves this place. I’m glad she was able to take some time for herself and enjoy such a beautiful space and some really amazing women. I can’t always get some free time to enjoy my own appointments but when I’m there I feel like I’m with friends. We laugh, talk and enjoy each other’s company all while keeping their professional environment. Can’t wait for my next appointment!

Moreover, their staff members were very skilled and professional. She suggested some home remedies for my nails that worked great. Loved the service!!

The nail artists who work here are super friendly, and talented! I got a manicure from here before my prom, and I am so happy that I got so many compliments for my nails. They have the best collection of nail polish, and they charge fairly reasonable as well. Definitely coming back for more. 5 stars!

I went to get my eye brows did today and this lady jack up my eyebrows didnt even try to fix it. I noticed that she wanted me to pay for the service. Which is fine, I wasnt gone cause a scene. I most definitely not coming back. Cause now I got to draw my eyebrows on and wait for it to grow back. I should of thank her for messing my eyebrows up.

New Nails is the only place I will go for a pedicure, specifically to see Beth. It is always very pleasant and clean and the atmosphere is always relaxing and nice. Beth does great work every single time and is very gentle. I have never had a single issue coming here or with any of the staff. I highly recommend!!!

They have roaches. I walked in and saw one. They tried to kill it but it ran. Nasty nasty. Dont go here.

Service was terrible!!! I asked for my nails to be long and she cut them shorter than what I asked for. When I asked her to redo them, she says she was gonna charge me another $38 for her to fix the mistake that she made. I would not recommend this store to anyone!!! Save your money

Very disappointed in how this place decides to come to work when they want. All of these Covid 19 signs and regulations they have but 8 ppl have been waiting for 2 hours and calling countless times. If you are closed, be closed. None of the times from online to the door itself are in business work flow. The open sign is bright and on yet the doors lock. What business is this negligent during this time. As 5 people have left to go to their salons that run well business, I’m leaving now but had to see if anyone would come before sending this... opens at 10am, it is 12:15 pm.... you want to support minorities on a time like this but must have respect for yourself and your clientele to survive an industry that is now done in homes, by timely professionals of the proper demographic.

First time customer at this nail shop, would NOT recommend. I took my young niece here for gel manis, gratefully her nail tech was much more present and did a good job, however the older lady who did my nails SKIPPED several steps, was NOT personable at all, and my cuticles have never been in such poor shape. Just one week after visiting. No care, or attention to detail. Left feeling like an unvalued customer.

Okay i know some people had bad experiences but go to kadion he took very care of my feet paid attention gave me a really good massage and talked to me. He is very kind hearted and sweet he is my new nail tech for now on he is so lovely im glad he came to me first and i wanted to give him an extra tip but im going to do it on the next thanks kadion☺️.

If i could leave a ZERO star review I would. These people do not care about you or the health of your nails. They attempted to charge my sister an additional $43.00 for long size nails. Mind you, they were not even that long. My sister decided she no longer wanted to get her nails done and the woman employee was snatching the nails of my sister nail bed. My sister asked her to do it no so roughly and the employee replied Do you want to do it? As a professional, customer service is key. To intentionally hurt a paying customer is beyond me. DO NOT GO HERE! We will never refer or support this business again.

I received services, it was horrible. The nail tech I usually use was on vacation. I refused to pay due to not being satisfied & was threatened the police would be called. I told him to call this is my hard earned money paying you. I asked for the owner/manager who supposedly wasnt there. I will return but will only use the nail tech Im familiar with & not any of the others. I returned the next morning with the top coat peeling. I asked to speak with owner/manager. The guy that assisted me was rude. Stay away!!!over talk

Dont you trust them with your toes or nails!! I was simply in the area and decided to go here for convenience. Like others mentioned I was not met with a friendly vibe. That bothered me but not enough to leave. I was escorted to a chair and I saw her turn the water on. She didnt add any disinfectant! I said NONE! Women, do you realize this is how we contract fungus and other diseases? There was just an article about a woman whos foot had to be amputated because of a nasty nail salon. I sat there and watched her before questioning her. She pulled out a box of tools that werent sealed so they probably hadnt been properly sterilized. She was lazy and cut my toes then decided to use an electric filer on my toe nails and to shape them. Thats not how they are taught. After she removed the polish and used these lazy tactics I decided to run for the hills. I asked her did she need to add disinfectant band she asked me if I wanted it. Why wouldnt I want to be safe and sterile? This showed me this is a nasty shop, concerned with money not sanitation. Just like you wont eat at a nasty persons house dont get Mani/pedi from a nasty salon. Know and do better. Im going to report them to the Board of Health as well.

These are photos from when I had a manicure and pedicure. The nails on both toes fell of, due to the unsanitary and unseen fungus and as a result of visiting the nail salon in DECATUR, GA called New Nails in between Publix and the Barshop in the shopping plaza.

Disappointed!! Not very friendly anymore! I have been going here on and off for 9 years. It is not clean as if they do not care about the customers and the atmosphere. I did not see them sanitize the tools. Julia rushed me with the color, the design, and when I wanted to change my pedicure to gel, her response is, What do you want? You pay not me, you want gel, I do gel. She was very condescending to me for no reason. Why would she speak to me that way in front of everyone? Now had I went OFF the way stereotypical black women do, then she wouldve been embarrassed. I only wanted to spice up my nails and toes with rhinestones. She rushed me and then asked at the end, if you want I do for you. Why would I want Julia to complete a service that she clearly was aggravated about doing?I miss the old crew who cared about the customer and the quality of work. Sadly, I will not be back to this unclean, unfriendly and unconcerned salon. Poor color selection and they charge for small things like polish removal, cut down, oval shape, and manicure as well. I love to spend money in my community but not here! Not until they raise theyre standards.

They charge you for things that are supposed to be included in the service. Trimming nails during a pedicure is part of the pedicure and shouldn’t be extra. They try to up sell you to get gel polish for $8. You say “no”, and they keep asking. Idk if they’re being persistent or just don’t understand.

My sister and I went in there and the CUSTOMER SERVICE was HORRIBLE! Nobody greeted us instead there was a man that was sitting in front of the shop rushing me to go to a “nail tech” without explaining what I wanted! I tried to explain to the nail tech lady that I would like a full set but I wanted to know the price if I was to get my nails longer..... she catches a attitude and told me that she don’t know and it varies but length.... (even though I already knew nail shops tend to charge more for length) I just wanted to know a estimated price.... I walked over to my sister to explain what happened and she said the guy never greeted nor tended to her. I do not recommend this place to anybody they are rude af.

I recently went to get short square acrylics and a pedicure. It was ok, minimal greeting . For my feet it was like $30 something and then she said my nails and feet would be $48 . I’m young in high school and once they found out my age they kept changing the price . At the end they said $68 then quickly changed it to $86 . Yes the nails are kinda cute and decent enough to settle with but I was overpriced and when we tried to settle it they simply laughed about the matter and won’t refund me the proper amount that is owed .

I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone. Today was my first And last time at this salon. The woman that did my pedicure cut my foot while cleaning my cuticles. She continued on as if nothing had happened. She didnt apologize until I asked her to apply medication to my cut. Once my pedicure was complete she hesitated on bringing the check however when she finally worked up the nerve to bring it there was no discount of any sort. I asked for the manager and explained my frustration to him. I went to the nail shop for relaxation and to get a professional service and definitely not to injured. He replied by stating that my pedicure was nice and mistakes happen and that he could only take five dollars off the check. I guess his business wasnt worth a 20 dollar pedicure. Home at this current moment with a bandage around my toe.

I had my gel nails done Wednesday. My nails started chipping already. I went back for them to repair it. They had an attitude and didnt want to fix it. I waited 15 mins. And 3 nail technician was playing on there phone. The manager was seating there Ignoring the whole situation. If I could I would give them a double ZERO. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY BAD ATTITUDES. I will NEVER return.

Question: Why do my fingers itch after getting acrylic nails?Answer: Because, they do not clean their nail tools/drill heads after every customer. If you observe them you will see how they will use the same nail tools on every customer with out cleaning any of those tools. They are always in such a hurry to get to the next customer they have no regard for spreading germs and bacteria through unclean nail tools/drill heads.Every nail technician should take the time to clean and disinfect all of their nail tools/drill heads in between customers. Also, they should use Lysol disinfecting wipes to clean their nail station after every customer. When they do not germs and bacteria are spread from one persons body to another. Which results in itching, burning, and, swelling of the fingers.

If I could l would give them ZERO stars

They are awful in terms of customer service. They seem to only take clients by appointments, but dont have enough clients for appointments...They dont have a good selection of colors to choose from...They dont want to soak off nails because they feel like they will lose money waiting. I wouldnt recommend anyone here

I went in happy came out mad. I have never left a nail salon without tipping the person till today. I always tip after my nails have been completely done, well she got real rude after I paid and no tip in my head in thinking Ok let me if it gets better and Ill tip her off that nope got worse Poor service had to ask about three times to fix my polish and put another coat there was more but I dont think Ill be going back

The first time I came here the man did the acrylic on my nails VERY thick, I didnt like it. I decided to give them another chance with my pedicure.I heard the woman next to me ask the lady who was doing her toes if her and the man that was doing my toes were talking mess about my feet. ( I had my headphones in but they werent playing anything). The lady laughed and told her yes and they all laughed. Now, I know my feet are not the prettiest, but thats what I get them done for. It was down right rude, hurtful, and terrible customer service.

Very rude.. charges $5 per foot for a design on one toe. Didnt care that that was a ridiculous price. When I asked the lady why did they charge so much for thedesign, she just kept repeat $10 for design on both like it was okay!! And she actually thought that Id keep sitting there LOL!! I PULLED MY FEET right out of the water and went to L-R Nails is right across t he street in the Metro PCS plaza.. staff is nice ...store is cleaner, bigger and charges $2 per foot for design. I will never go back to the other location.

Ive been going to one worker there for over two years Stan hes quick, and he talks to about you an when hes out Vincent fills in. They are the best nail technician an Linda is the best pedicure person there.

My first time ever trying this place and it was horrible.... I would never go back to this place . I came in on last Thursday evening to get my nails done within 4 days my nails were coming up .... Linda was the one who did my nails .. so Tuesday when they were coming up i called and asked for her she wasn’t there in that day so i called that wendsday she was not there mind you i don’t stay in that area so finally by Thursday i had called and she was there i spoke with her and told her what was going on she then said ok i can come and asked me what day i was coming i told her Saturday at 4 so i called back in Friday to remind her .. Saturday came i went to the nail salon she had me wait for 25 mins when she sat down she immediately started asking how did my nails come off three had came off by this time . I told her they were lifting up meaning that it hurts so that’s why i took them off i said ... she told me that she was going to be charging me 4$ to fix an issue that was her fault i then told her no why would i pay and my nails were lifting up in 3 days i then left overall this is not a way to treat 1st time customers

The quality of this salon has went down over the years. It looks dingy and dirty with poor lighting. I will not visit this salon again.

These people are so bad I really want to see if I can go back in and get my money back ... that’s how bad it is ! I went in very happy and excited about getting my nails done because I haven’t got them done in so long ... but it ended very badly ... for starters the made fun of my nails and toes .. I got my nails done by Charlie which probably isn’t his really name ! He did my nails at the predicure section while I was getting my toes done ... I told him I rather wait and sit down at his section, he told me no .. and did my nails there instead anyways ... my nails came out crooked and he charged me for Gel but gave me Acrylic . I was so mad ... then the guy doing my pedicure cut my toes in 2 places, I paid for a deluxe and never got a massage !!! He literally patted my legs ... and talked about my toes the whole time ... when I asked what they were talking about, they happily said your toes !!! So after this whole humiliating process, at the end I ended up paying $70 for a gel set which wasn’t given to me, a deluxe pedicure which was never given to me, 4 days down the line my nails are lifting and my heels are still cracked and that’s why I wanted the deluxe for my feet, I’m soo upset I literally want my money back but I know it will just cause a scene and I won’t recieve anything back from them ... DO NOT COME HERE . It doesn’t matter if you don’t have that much money and want your nails done, you can get better service somewhere else or just save your money and wait till you get alittle more to go somewhere else, these people will rip you off like they did me ... they really should be investaged ...

HORRIBLE!!!This place is the absolute worse. I have been here a few times over the years and each time it gets worse and worse. I try giving them a chance, because they are closet to my area, and its usually a hit or miss with them. My last experience was the absolute worse. It started with the nail tech, a guy name PAUL (im sure its not his real name) was starting to work on my nails. He was rude, he up charged me $15.00 from what I normally pay for the exact thing every weekend. He put my nails on crooked and got mad when I asked him to take them off and restart. He had the nastiest attitude. I spoke with the owner who was nice and very apologetic and seated me with someone else. The second person was really nice, but my nails were horrible! I literally HATE them. I believe they use old products because the powder used on my nails had my nails aching like never before. I will never go back to this place. Below is a picture of what he started with on my nails. How was he going to fix this?!!!
