Hands down, (haha), the best place to get your nails done. Its far and away the highest quality experience youll have in Atlanta. Its a massive bonus that the technicians are also really kind and welcoming. Theyre attentive, creative, and all love what they do.Positivity and quality radiate from this place. Its incredibly clean, follows every protocol you can imagine, and uses as many natural ingredients to pamper you as they can.Its also not overly expensive. The few extra dollars more per service is WELL WORTH the experience. Ive never once walked away feeling anything but relaxed and super happy.
Absolutely loved my manicure with Tracy and have rebooked for future appointments. She was so attentive and gentle with her work, and the beautiful art she does has so much attention to detail! Highly recommend. The shop itself is also beautiful and has a relaxing and welcoming vibe.
This place is a gem! Its beautiful and so CLEAN. Highly recommend Stefanie! She took her time and did an outstanding job. Parking is super easy on a quiet neighborhood street in Grant Park :) Loved everything about it and will be back again very soon.
Lark & Sparrow is my absolute favorite nail salon in ATL! Everyone is extremely professional and excellent COVID standards are in place. My pedicures last forever, which I really appreciate! In fact, my latest gel pedi lasted my entire summer holiday (6 weeks in Europe, including 4 islands!) Thanks Bonnie;)
Cool little shop full of beautiful employees, ready to make you beautiful as well😁
Linda paid a lot of attention to detail in creating my pastel French tips for an upcoming vacation. Will definitely be back in the future!
Bonnie is an absolute life saver with my natural nails. Give her free rein and the design is fantastic. Love the dark raisin color with rose gold designs of fall leaves and love birds. Cant wait to see what she does on my next appointment.
I wanted to like this place and support local small business but after giving this place two different appointments I have decided there are too many salons to give this place any more of my money. They brag about being all natural (not cutting cuticles and using grape seed oil, etc..) but Ill be just fine the traditional way. The owner is a bit cold for my taste. Although the cleanliness is top notch (hence the two star and not one) it isnt enough to keep my patronage. I called the first time to schedule an appointment with a technician who was highly reviewed and when I asked for an appointment with this woman the owner did her very best to convince me that any of her technicians are good and encouraged me to book with others. I decided to keep with my request and once again, for my second follow up booking, I was told the same spiel from the owner as if she was disappointed I asked for the same technician. I found that really odd. I just went to a place across the street from my new neighborhood I moved to and spent half the price for twice the service.
Wonderful experience with Bonnie! The salon takes the pandemic very serious and works with the highest care for its customers and employees. I am pregnant and came in for a pedicure and felt extremely safe. The pedicure is excellent, everyone with whom I was in contact with was very friendly and professional.
Beautiful space, clean, and lovely employees. Thank you.
I have been going to Lark and Sparrow for years and continue during the pandemic, it is clean, clients are well spaced out, they are taking everyones health very seriously. I had a pedicure with Jai, my feet look and feel great, awesome massage, all around fabulous experience!
I appreciate the high level of sanitation and the tranquility that I feel when I enter. Great experience!
Great atmosphere, very Covid safe, and Jenny does great work.
Stephanie & Tamara are EXCELLENT!
Just moved here and I’m still getting used to the area plus I really don’t know anyone. This place looked adorable on IG and definitely didn’t disappoint. Samantha was so nice and made me feel so comfortable and she did a phenomenal job on my nails. I did elaborate nail art and was blown away by her talent and patience. They really value the health of your nails so it was the least painful and invasive mani I have ever had 😍 I was also impressed by all of the safety precautions they implemented since opening after COVID. I can’t wait to come back!
Ive been seeing Tracy for almost a year. I instantly clicked with her. She does phenomenal nail art. Lark and Sparrow is the best in Atlanta!
Only place to go get my nails done. It is friendly, COVID safe and just enjoyable when you visit.
Went for the first time just yesterday. Clean, excellent - will definitely return!
I have been looking for a while, and I finally found a nail salon I will return to. Most of the places i have been to before barely care about the customer and are not very well skilled (my last gel manicure started to peel off the day after i got it done). At Lark & Sparrow, you feel welcome, you are cared for, and most importantly, your hands are cared for as well (aka they dont destroy cuticles and make your nails bleed. Might be the first time ive never bled after getting my nails done). Also, their color choice is amazing. Highly recommend and cant wait to be back.
I mean the best nail salon I have been to in Atlanta, amazing service and i am in love with my nails. Super clean, organic and hippie, love it!
Ive been going to Lark & Sparrow regularly since it opened and have never been so satisfied with a nail salon! Everyone that works there is a highly skilled artist when it comes to nails. Ive never been to a place that continually satisfies whatever nail art need you have like L&S. The prices are reasonable and its owned by two wonderful Grant Park ladies, Linda and Jody. Book online at your convenience...I promise you wont be disappointed!
Ask for Dajah! Shes a delight to chat with, and very talented as a nail tech. I love everything she does.
I booked an appointment for four people about a month in advance. We waited about 20 minutes for service until we were seated. Once seated, one of the four was still not seen for another 10-15 minutes. The basic pedicure is $38 and is not worth the expense. The chairs are comfortable and you are offered a warm neck-pillow, which was nice. The pedicure consists of a dry scrub (you do not put feet into water until after you are scrubbed) and a 3 minute massage which was basically just someone rubbing lotion onto my feet and legs. My feet were placed in water and then I received a polish. After the polish, the woman sprayed my feet with an almond spray (I was not asked if I was allergic). This spray was basically an oil and although it smelled nice, j could not walk to my car safely as I was sliding all over the place and had to hold onto my mother for help. The moment I got home, I had to wash my feet and shoes because of the oil. It was a total safety hazard. I will never return to this place. You can receive a high-end massage, mask, and scrub as well as a polish without this weird oil mist that is dangerous to walk in from #1 Nails in Ormewood Park, which is normally my go-to salon for the same price. I was so disappointed in the lack of thought put into so much of our appointment. The decor is nice and the place is clean. Our nail technicians were very nice and I liked them, but it was very clear the place was overbooked and did not think about practical issues like spraying someone with oil before they need to walk in sandals. Insane.
A few people I know recommended lark & sparrow to me and Im so glad they did. Ive been coming here for at least over a year and I love it! It is a really chill, comfortable atmosphere and they have THE best pedicure chairs. So comfortable and relaxing.I usually choose an appointment based on time, which has allowed me to have services with almost all of the nail technicians and I would recommend any of them. All of the staff is great! All of them do a fantastic job and are just fun to talk to and get to know. They are also super helpful if you have questions about which service(s) to choose or need helping choosing a color.I also really like that they have a natural manicure as well. Sometimes I dont feel like a color and it is nice to have that option. If you are not following them on Instagram, you should! Their nail art pictures inspired me to finally try and I love it. Its so much fun to explore color, design, and texture. I wont go any place else now for a manicure or pedicure. There is only street parking, but there is plenty of it and never an issue to find a space.
This is my go to salon. Its quiet and calming. They are great at detail and have a genuinely friendly atmosphere.
This is the only place Ill get my nails done in Atlanta. They use safer choices of polishes, have the best nail artists in ATL. Linda and Jody are so great for starting a cleaner, more natural nail salon. I definitely recommend making an appointment in advance, especially on the weekends. Their second location, Petite Sparrow is not far, and its easy to schedule online. They even make their own organic scrubs and soaks and hand oils. Plus, it doesnt even smell like a nail salon -- youre not hit with heavy chemicals when you walk in!
I visited this salon for the first time a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved it. I was forced to try a new salon when an old favorite moved to a new location and stopped taking appointments. They were able to squeeze me in last minute for a healing pedicure and a gel mani with nail art. I saw Skye while I was there and absolutely loved her spirit and work. The pedicure was the most relaxing I’ve ever had and I love the attention and time she put into my nail art. I am super impressed with this location. Everything is clean, sterilized or single use.I will absolutely be making this my regular nail salon. I had one minor issue with my manicure and the owner reached out and didn’t hesitate to correct the issue.I love salons that opperate primarily by appointment as it helps ensure I’m not waiting all day. If you’re on the fence or if you want to try this place or not just do it. You won’t regret it. I haven’t had this type of care on my nail beds and cuticles in a long time.
The best boutique in town! I drive 45 mins from Woodstock to have a special gel manicure! Ask for Ms. Amanda--she is amazing. Your nails will last forever from here, and its worth the drive. Beautiful salon!
Was in Atlanta on business and in desperate need of a pedicure. I found this place online and went to book. They were totally full the only day I had available. I checked again the next day and, by some miracle, they had an opening!!!I was in the most excellent hands one of the owners, Linda. She took such great care of me! Shes very personal too, even recommending local eateries. This place takes the time to know their clients. I love that they use natural ingredients, too. I ADORE this place and cant wait to return!!!
I went to lark & sparrow for their mens pedicure, The Dapper Dan. My appointment was booked with Skye and she did a great job! The atmosphere is relaxing & the essential oils are nice too. I really liked all the products they use, they seem very natural and pure, their focus on wellness is apparent. I would definitely recommend lark & sparrow to anyone!!!
Favorite place to get my nails done--no unsanitary foot baths here--they only use stainless steel bowls. L&S is SO relaxing and offers warm neck wraps and cool eye masks at no extra cost. You can also get water, sparkling water, or wine for free. There is no strong toxic smell when you enter because they dont do acrylic nails, and the nail art the offer is phenomenal!! You really need to call ahead or book online though because if you try to do a Walk-in, theyre usually booked up, for obvious reasons.
Lovely, calm, relaxing environment. Excellent service! They make their own, natural products. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgable!
Above and beyond. Get in with Sam if you can.
Great boutique nail salon! Once you go here, you cannot go anywhere else to get your nails done. Love the staff - friendly and so easy to chat with. The manicures and pedicures are top notch, and they are great at nail art.
Too high for the service. Had a gift card that is why we went. Atmosphere was good.
I was in the market for a new nail salon after some negative experiences at several of the walk-in salons in the area. Lark & Sparrow, as well as their sister salon Petite Sparrow, have been AMAZING! My nails were in rough shape due to several rounds of SNS polish and Elle at Petite Sparrow fixed them right up while giving me some great tips for nail health! Dajah at Lark & Sparrow was amazingly attentive to my waxing and pedicure. She is kind and considerate and we talked endlessly about travel and movies while she performed an awesome basic pedicure (complete with a glass of wine and warm neck pillow in a super comfy chair). Would highly recommend these salons to anyone seeking a new manicurist. It is worth noting that appointments are absolutely necessary, and weekends are quick to disappear!
Love this place. With a focus on health, I recieved an education on nail care and a set of the most lushly designed nails I have ever had. Highly recommend
5 stars!!! After 7 years of broken, chipped, fragile nails I’ve found Atlanta’s nail paradise... a locally owned, cheers bar everyone knows your name kinda place, located in the heart of Grant Park. I would have paid for just the pleasant atmosphere of locally sourced and in-house curated scrubs/soaps but was elated to find that my amazing nail tech, Tracy, was a talented manicurist. I purchased the service designed to recover the nails from the drill based, fast-food modeled nail places and am pleased to share that my nails look and feel fully rejuvenated after just one well-timed service. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a service; reasonably priced, clean, professional, and timely. #shopsmall #supoortlocal #localowned #womanowned
Love love love it here. So beautiful and serene, fantastic staff, amazing work. A must-visit every time Im in town.
Finally got back after many busy months and had the best pedicure ever. Ericas foot massage was masterful and I feel like I have new feet.
I have been getting my nails done here for a little over a year. I used to get tips and sns gel/powder at other salons. I thought I would miss that coming to Lark and Sparrow - since they only do natural nails. However, I havent missed it much at all. The nail techs are super talented, creative, and do a wonderful job on your nails. I usually get more than 2 weeks wear out of each session, sometimes longer. They are great!
I had a manicure done by Linda and she was great. She was gentle with my hands and did an incredible job with the manicure and nail art. Will definitely be going back!
Good place to work and get your nails done.
I cannot speak enough great things about this place. As a licensed cosmetologist, they really do everything by the book in the most hygienic way possible. I appeciate their attention to detail and they use as many homemade/natural products as possible. I usually see Skye but everyone there is great. I leave here so relaxed! I cannot let myself go anywhere else, honestly every other nail place Ive been to is doing something incorrectly whereas Lark & Sparrow is 100% always on point.
Really great spot. They truly care about you and your nail health. A little pricey but totally worth it.
Cutest nail salon with the sweetest staff! They always do a good job and take care or their customers.
Very easy to schedule online. Very friendly service and atmosphere. Erica waxed my eyebrows and theyre perfect! Will definitely be back for my eyebrows and some mani/pedi services. Thank you!
Loved the photos of their work but they were Unresponsive on instagram. They lost out on a customer.
Always clean, peaceful, helpful and kind. Fun, artistic atmosphere. Great technique and hospitality. I moved from EAV to Avondale Estates and this is still the only nail salon I want to go to.
I have had the best service at this establishment the people are so friendly and the establishment was really clean love this place
The best manicure Ive had till date!
The prepared food, sandwiches are the best... The chicken salad (yes, thats what I said) is exceptional and the burgers may be the best in ATL.
It has been a long time since I have received such amazing customer service from a business. On my first visit, there was confusion about my service and scheduled appointment, which resulted in me cancelling my service.A few hours later, I received a call from the owner Jody, apologizing for the mixup. She also offered an discount off of my next visit! On my next visit, Jody started my manicure and was so lovely to talk to. She then had DShiona finish up the service. DShiona is the sweetest most gorgeous soul ever!I have been searching for a nail salon that values me as a person. A place that takes the time to get to know their customers, that understands nail care, and provides a high end spa like environment.Well Ive found it! This shall forever be my nail salon.
Erica gave a pedicure to die for, my feet feel amazing! I will be booking her again
Hands down best pedi and service. Do it! Especially you gentle sirs
Let me first say that Erica and Christines services were phenomenal ...they were not the problem. However, Desmond, the tech who completed my daughters little feet service ...was awful!..to put it nicely. Per the website, the little feet service comes with nail shaping, hydrating foot massage, and the polish of your choice. This is advertised for $15 (as of 10/27/18 anyway, from my understanding they will be changing this..smh). My daughter was looking forward to this and the polish...its not offered in south Georgia where we live so I thought it was the perfect treat for her. I was leaned back with my eyes closed for brow service and was unable to see what Desmond was doing because I would have inquired before he finished my daughters service. However, I found out afterward from my child that she didnt get a foot massage. I inquired about this with Desmond...his response was, I shaped her nails and polished them, thats very reasonable for $15 (a condescending statement in my opinion). I stated ok and immediately looked up the website again because I wanted to verify that this was what I saw prior to booking our services. I addressed this with Desmond once I verified it. He had started on another customer and stated he would give her a massage after she dries once I pointed out that it was on the site (mind you she had been sitting long enough to be dry already). I waited a few more minutes and I was dry at this point, mind you I finished after my daughter did. I explained to the lady at checkout that I needed to go (we had a wedding ceremony to attend)and asked if I could recieve any kind of discount due to not receiving the full service. He turned around in his chair (while working on another customer) and stated No, she still received the service. I had just stated that she didnt receive the massage...so she didnt recieve the FULL advertised service! In my opinion, the CORRECT thing for Desmond to do was apologize, ask his current client to allow him a few minutes, complete her massage, then move on...so since that wasnt done, I think a discount would have been VERY reasonable. I especially didnt like what I felt was a condescending tone when referring to what HE thought was reasonable for $15 vs what the website stated that he didnt provide!!! It had nothing at all to do with paying for her service because Im well enough off that money is not an issue...the problem was HIM and how he responded to the issue I had with him not giving her the full advertised service! His response to my complaint alone completely soured my experience as a whole. However, I still want to give the other two ladies credit for their services.
Fabulous!! They take pride in their work.
You wont complain
Fantastic nail salon! Wonderful, clean and relaxing environment.
Ruined wedding nail experience. I researched and booked this salon several months prior to my wedding hoping to have a relaxing and fun experience with my mom, future mother in law and sister in law. When I arrived, they said I had only booked 2 manicures and 2 pedicures instead of 3 manicures and 2 pedicures. They said they would not be able to accommodate the extra service initially so my mom and I were discussing going to another salon and the owner overheard us and immediately said if you leave there will be cancellation fees. We ended is staying and she made it clear she was put out by accommodating us and this could only be my fault. Two technicians did our services, but I was not allowed to get gel which I booked initially bc it would take too much time (and one of my nails chipped later that night). Meanwhile, one of the techs, Sunshine, was painting her own nails for approx 45 minutes. I understand the difficulty in fitting an extra service (albeit a standard manicure) on a busy day but since this was a special occasion I should at least not have been made to feel bad about the situation like the owner did. I am giving it two stars bc it is a cute shop and the two techs we ended up working with were trying to help, but the owner was very unpleasant. You only get one bridal nail visit, and she ruined it for me by making it a stressful and disappointing experience.
Love this place! Amanda is the best!
I recently went into Lark & Sparrow for a Nurturing Pedicure by Skye. This place is the real deal -- not some sweat shoppy mani/pedi place where youre just a number. It is LUXURIOUS and super relaxing. They take great steps to make sure that youre pampered and taken care of. It was the best pedicure Ive ever had. What I loved about them was that they make everything in-house that they can -- hand sanitizer, herbal soak, callous remover, scrub, etc. Truly a gem. Ill warn you though, once you go there, youll never go anywhere else again.
Treat yourself. This is the place.
Worth it. Im new to the area and will never go to another nail salon.
Excellent service.
Quality
Truly the best nail salon I have ever been to. I have been coming here for 5 years now and when I cant get in with my normal girl (Bonnie who is amazing) I just choose the best time available and everyone has been so great. I never used to get manicures until I tried this place because friends were coming into town and they even said Lark and Sparrow is the gold standard for manicures and pedicures. I had a manicure stay on for 4 weeks because of how great of a job they do! If I could give them 6 stars I absolutely would and this is a long overdue review because they deserve the praise.
