This is such a great practice! The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. Navigating dental plans and benefits can be difficult for the insured, but they work with you and help with any issues you may have. Dr. Wali has been a God sent to our family. She is patient, caring, thorough and always takes the time to explain what she is doing. I am a basket case when it comes to dental work, but I always feel like I am in good hands with her. I cannot say enough good things about her and her practice. They have a great location, public transit accessible, great hours, and free parking.

Dr. Sofia Wali is a wonderful person. She is kind, intelligent, and professional. She has a great team in her practice. She has been my family dentist since 2012. I changed all doctors for my family after we moved (30 mils away) but we couldn’t change her as we’re sure we won’t be able to find such a nice doctor anywhere else. Ive been coming here for over a decade. This is by far the best Dental office Ive been to. She does amazing work and really the entire office staff is perfect. 8 years ago I moved to richmond and once a year I still drive up to this office because I trust her work and the staff.

Amazing Dentist !!!!!I get anxiety attacks when I hear the tools in the dentist office. So, I would rather do anything else to avoid going to the dentist out of fear till I find Dr. Sofia Wali 14 years ago. She is amazing at making you feel comfortable and at-easy. She is great listener and she makes her patients feel they are extremely important. She is one off the best dentists in the DMV without a question in my opinion. She is amazing at comforting patients and making them feel at ease. I also fond her to be a great communicator in the since that she explains everything that’s going to happen before starting anything and will ask you if you’re okay and want to proceed. I also like how she never pushes me to get more than I can handle at my visitation. Yes, it can take bit longer time wise because she is always busy. However, I would trade that for the comfort and care I receive at every appointment, not to mention her employees are always happy, welcoming and friendly. I recommended many of my friends and family members and will continue to recommend her to to any one asking for dentist.Thank you, guys for your great service.

Had a filling she put in fall out. Called on Monday to come in the next day at 10:30am. I get text message confirming my appointment. I even get a text at 8:30am, 2 hours before my appointment confirming. Now that I arrive they tell me she will not be in until 1pm. Thanks for nothing and waisting my time. Now Im looking for another dentist to fix her work.

I went to her office for regular cleaning, but experienced one of awful days in my life. While she was cleaning my teeth, she was looking around and talking to her assistant. She injured my gum because she was looking around and constantly talking to her staff. Also, she did not want to talk about the x-ray that her staff took. I had questions about the cavities that I had, but she was in a hurry and tried to make it a short visit and take another patient. She has three rooms to see patients and only one Doctor which herself. The other patients are just waiting on the bench in the other rooms to get the doctor to see them. It took me 45 minutes to get the cleaning done and it hurt the whole time she was cleaning my teeth because she injured my gum.

Today I met Dr Sofiya Wali for the first time.My experience with this office started last week on the phone trying to book an appointment for cleaning, the lady was nice getting me in for today.The wait time was a little longer that I expected, finally I met Dr Wali : she is a warm, sweet person, made feel comfortable she took time to go over my questions, explained everything and got me some referral. She did good job. I was pleased.

Highly recommend Dr. Wali for both adults/children. The best dentist weve ever been to ~ she is very gentle; swift and efficient; incredibly knowledgeable; and truly concerned for her patients, from their overall comfort level to completing a thorough exam in a timely fashion. Dr. Wali utilizes state-of-the-art technology which helps speed up exams, plus she possesses quick, surgeon-like hands ~ quick and efficient ~ and goes out of her way to ensure your exam and visit is an excellent one. Very friendly staff from the reception desk to hygienists. Little to no wait time whatsoever and both my son and I were in and out the door in about 1 hr 15 mins!!! This included completions of exams with x-rays; cleaning and polishing; fluoride treatments; sealants placed on five of his new adult teeth and a small additional procedure performed on me as well. Incredibly impressed with Dr. Sofiya Wali!

I came on here to look for a review on wisdom teeth and didnt find one. I went ahead with my wisdom tooth removal anyhow and I couldnt have been happier! I know everyone is different but I had two taken out in each of my appointments, and it only took about 5 minutes for her to remove them! I was so nervous because they only do local anesthesia so I would be numb but awake for the entire thing. I felt so comfortable though, and I hate dentist visits! I went into my second appointment to have my second two removed with very little anxiety, and I knew I was in good hands! I love the doctor, love the staff. They are priced very fairly and they are just kind people and make sure you feel comfortable!

I have been a patient of Dr Walis for years cant believe what the negative reviewers have said. Im quite sure that there is something more to the story, or some kind of confusion, since what has been written is not at all characteristic of my experiences over the years, or the experiences of others to whom I have recommended Dr Wali.When I first contacted Dr Walis office, I was in tremendous pain and hadnt slept in days. I called that afternoon and her staff (who are always wonderfully polite and friendly) managed to fit me in after hours. I needed an emergency root canal and had multiple cavities (I now take much better care of my mouth!), but Dr Wali was able to start taking care of both issues that evening. Her biggest concern was alleviating my pain. When I left that night, I was no longer in pain and had a prescription to keep it that way. The rest of the root canal process wasnt entirely without pain (no root canal is) but she constantly checked to make sure I was comfortable and kept it as painless as she could.Also, because I needed so much work to get my mouth back into shape, I had multiple visits that first month, which was near the end of the year. I hadnt even thought about it, but Dr Wali noticed that my dental insurance was almost at its limit and that I would then have to pay out of pocket. She noticed this and asked if Id like to schedule the rest of the work for after the first of the year, when my insurance would cover and I wouldnt have to pay out of pocket. I couldnt believe my ears. Ive never met a doctor in any field who has shown that kind of consideration and care, and I was very thankful for her awareness of that need.Another thing to note is the way that Dr Wali and her hygienist work together. They truly seem to think from the same mind...very in-tune with what the other is doing. She hygienist kindly wipes your mouth or face during cleaning and holds the suction tube so that its not hanging uncomfortably out of your mouth.All of Dr Walis staff are tremendously polite and friendly...and have been every time I have been there over the past several years. I have seen this while I have been with Dr. Wali, while paying my co-pay and scheduling the next appointment, and while in the waiting room while other patients are being attended to (always a short wait).Truly, being a patient of Dr Walis has been an excellent experience, which is why Ive recommended her to several friends and co-workers. I would absolutely and without hesitation recommend her to anyone.

Very rushed and she does not listen. Also, the office chairs are very dingy. It looks like it has been soiled. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

Everything thing she did filling and etc were horrible. left with horrible pain with possibly needing a root canal after a old filling removal. I had to move to a different dentist to get the things fixed she had worked on. The doctor Sofiya Wali is horrible.
