I moved to DC and still come out to Alexandria for my dental care because I am so satisfied with the care here. I’ve had some mild to moderate gum health issues through stressful periods in my life and pregnancy and Dr. Bell and his hygienists have taken such good care of me to get things turned in the right direction. My husband’s dental health took a hit from two almost back to back deployments and Dr. Bell is getting him fixed up as well. This practice is an essential part of my family’s health care and anyone should feel confident that they are in great hands if they come here.

We have been going to this dental group for YEARS. And they never bothered to tell us that we were out of network. In addition, they quote us fees for services that are HUNDREDS of dollars more than the insurance company says they should be. DO NOT GO HERE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

As soon as I stepped out of my car and walked through the little complex where the dentist office resides I knew it would be a positive experience. The indoor and outdoor space by this dentist office has a very soothing atmosphere. I thought the staff was very nice and personable and really put me at ease. I went for a routine cleaning and X-rays. This office doesn’t have bells and whistles like TVs in each room nor will they give you a toothbrush at the end of your visit, they are just nice people that are good at what they do and help to keep your teeth shining for years to come! I also love opportunities to support black owned businesses. I will see you guys in 6 months!

This was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I haven’t been to an office in a while because I’ve developed anxiety around dentist appointments, so this was my first time at Dr. Bell’s office after a quick search. From the receptionist, Rocky, to the hygienist Racquel, to seeing Dr. Bell, service was personable and I felt well taken care of. The office was very clean and everyone is in appropriate PPE, so no concerns there. First time I’m actually looking forward to my next cleaning!

Maybe a couple of days ago was first time being seen while also booking an appointment here, I was getting a cleaning and after some lab work was optimistically recommended some advice on further work which was great (especially because I needed it). The staff here are friendly and curious while the dental office itself is magnificent while also looking spotless and well decorated. 6/3/2020 Update: Still the best dentist with the best office ever. My wife, was hesitant about leaving her dentist and coming her to The Bell Dental Group. Today was her first visit and she now understands why I wouldnt even consider going elsewhere. Still 5 stars!!!2019 - My first appointment with Dr. Bell was a few months ago. Maybe in February or March of 2019. I had not been to a dentist in over 10 years and needed to have some major dental work done. Among other things, I’ve lost several teeth over the course of my life and wanted them replaced.The reason I had not been to a dentist is very simple, FEAR.I could write a book on my experience with Dr. Bell but I won’t. If I did, it would be a good book. Dr. Bell, who I believe is the best overall dentist in the world, is awesome. He took care of me from start to finish. When there was work he didn’t perform in his office, he sent me to dentists whose practices were at his level or above and that says a lot.Occasionally it takes a problem to really understand the effectiveness of one’s abilities. When I did have a problem, feeling that something was overlooked and left undone, it was handled swiftly and with the utmost professionalism. What more can you ask for? I absolutely love this office and wouldn’t think of taking my business anywhere else.The office is very clean and organized. Appointment times mean appointment times. I’ve been there at least a half dozen times at this writing (6/30/19) and can’t remember ever waiting past my designated time. That leads me to the front desk….. Shannon.My very first interaction with the office came through email. Shannon made me feel comfortable and confident that I was going to be handled properly. Honestly, will gladly say that my experiences after visiting Dr. Bells office was excellent. My first visit was for cleaning and examination and my second visit was for consultation. Both visits were worth it because I was treated with respect and kindness by each one of the staff that I came in contact with. Ive been visiting Dr. Bell for a checkup every six months since I moved to the area nine years ago. Everyone in the office is friendly but professional, and Dr. Bell is honest and straightforward with his diagnoses and never proposes unnecessary dental work.
