Best dentist ever! I needed a lot of work done and Im terrified of dentists (lots of bad experiences). I gave this practice a try because it was well-reviewed and I am glad I did!Dr. Caligan is the man and he definitely runs a tight ship! His crew is super-pleasant, helpful, communicative and informative. This place makes me feel secure and confident in receiving dental work.Oh, and my teeth look SO much better! I want to say a million things more, but if youre already at the point of reading a review, just go ahead and BOOK.

Dr Calligan is super professional. He explains everything clearly and during the procedure he informs of steps being undertaken. Most importantly, he is very gentle. First visit went very well. The receptionist was attentive and friendly. Lateea, one of the dental hygienist, was very thorough and professional. We moved into Old Town Alexandria Virginia a few years ago and I was luckly enough to find a great dentist! Not only is Geoffrey Caligan a great dentist but he also has a surperb staff!

There is no need to look any further! This dental practice offers a calm and quiet atmosphere with kind and competent staff and free street parking. This is my 5th dental practice in 2 years. Dental Hygentists can make or break a practice!! The Dental Hygentist, Mary Jane, is personable, skilled, thorough, and offers patients verbal and touch ques to assist with sensory perception/anxiety. I had to adjust to the ultrasonic scaling and feel as if my teeth are the cleanest they have ever been. My permanent retainer was treated with care and my teeth were cleaned, flossed and polished without incident. I am pleased that I was automatically offered an optional flouride treatment and I was not given a sales pitch or pressured into other services.

I have nothing negative I can say about this practice. This is the first medical office I have ever been to where they are on time 100% of the time. I can arrive 5 minutes before a 3:00 apt and be sitting in a chair by 2:59. Everyone in the entire office is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Caligan is extremely good at what he does. I recently had an onlay done and a day later I couldn’t tell it wasn’t my original tooth. Anytime I have a question about insurance or payment they are able to give me an answer immediately and accurately. The office is extremely clean. Even though it’s on a fairly busy road, I’ve never had an issue finding parking right in front of the office.

This is the first Dental practice Ive consistently gone to more than twice since they opened across from my old place. Theyre always ready to receive me at my appointed time. I rarely ever have to wait. Their cleaning is always thorough. Ive had fillings done and a chipped tooth repaired. Every single time theyve done excellent work. They never try to sell me on things or procedures I dont need and they treat me like a pal, as opposed to just another customer. I also appreciate the reminders for appointments and how up to date they are on technology. They make things easy by dealing directly with my insurance to resolve any payments that I dont need to do anything, except pay the difference on certain procedures when necessary. The atmosphere is always polite and friendly. I would totally recommend Braddock Dental.

I moved to this area a little over 3 years ago and since then Ive been searching for a trustworthy dentist who provides high quality dental service. After 3 years of searching, I finally found thego-to dentist for our family. My husband was first to go this weekend and he was blown away with the beautiful office, high tech. equipment and high quality level of service Braddock Dental provided. He said Dr. Caligan did excellent job at evaluating his overall oral health. At the end of his visit, Dr. Caligan provided him with dental plan that focuses on correcting the real issues versus just making up unnecessary work. In addition, Braddock Dental has reasonable fees (our family can afford) not like other high end places that assume money grow on trees.Ill be going next and will provide review of my dental visit.P. S. Braddock Dental has the best appointment specialist. David is super nice and professional. He made scheduling first appointment effortless. Love their hassle-free system for new patients.

This place is great. Always on time, and Dr. Caligan is excellent. Office is clean and comfortable, and the hygienists and pro straws are all excellent as well. Very happy with my decision to sign up with them. They even do some Saturday hours as well.

I have been going to Dr. Caligan since he first opened his office and since then Ive moved an hour away and still make the trip to see him for my cleanings and check ups. The entire office is really nice and they make it a point to remember things about you from the last appointment. Dr. Caligan is really good at what he does and makes sure that his patients are always comfortable during visits. Ive also gotten Invisalign done by him and I love the results. The office is really clean and they are up to date with their technology and procedures. In a world where its hard to find a good dentist, Im glad I found Braddock Dental.

Dr. Calligan is amazing and one of the best dentists Ive ever been to. He is almost always on time, which means that I dont have to wait when I show up on time. On the rare occasions that the office is running late, one of the staff will call to let you know so youre not just stuck waiting. Dr. Calligan is gentle and extremely thorough while being efficient. I always know what is happening that day and what is next on my treatment plan. I would recommend him and his office to everyone!

I cant say anything about the dr but the office is run very poorly. I waited 6 weeks for a new patient appt. They called me a few days before my appt and told me the dr wouldnt be in the office the day of my appt so they needed to reschedule me...3 weeks later! There was no accomodation made for ther fact they canceled on me! Im new to the area so now I have to start all over again looking for a dentist.

For someone who has dental phobia, trust issues and likes to be in control of situations, Dr.Caligan is my all time favorite dentist! He is gentle, technically expert, explains all treatment options & procedures and never tries to push or sell you a treatment. He highlights the pros & cons of a particular approach, will give you estimates & answer questions----then he lets the patient decide. He does a great job of patient education- the NTI bite guard he recommended for my mild TMJ & grinding issues also protects my crown in the front and decreased the frequency of my headaches.He is a consummate professional, standup kinda guy!

In looking for a local dentist to begin seeing, when out walking I passed by Dr. Caligans practice and later made an appt. After a thorough new patient visit which included x-rays, check up and cleaning - all in a totally new facility with the latest equipment - I left impressed. Dr. Caligans light touch and great chair-side manner were terrific. I have recently received postcards and done some cost comparisons as I am retired, and I found Braddock Dental to be the most cost effective. He and his staff are recommended highly.
