They are they worst. They are over charging me. I have no arrears but they are taking 3x what I am supposed to be paying. They said they fixed it but still they are taking 3x the amount. I already filed a lawsuit against them to get my money back plus interest for hardship.

Its the child support office either your there cuz they havent pitched in there share or your there cuz they want money from you and they never give you the time you need and they dont do what they should

I would give zero stars, but they are polite. This is more of a warning. If you have an IWO with Sutter DCSS, check your pay stubs, and ask your employer to see the current IWO on file. I say this because in the case i am assisting with, they have had a difficult time maintaining an accurate accounting of monies paid. They sent out a letter of demand for 858.00 inn arrears. At he same time, they issued a amended IWO to the employer.The problem? These arrears do NOT exist. It appears from speaking with the department, someone did some creative accounting which seems to be they added future months and called them arrears. So while we have to jump through hoops to correct their error, they are collecting extra money. I would add, i have seen creative accounting from different LCSAs. it typically goes hand-in-hand with the custodial parent collecting public aid goodies. and as a friendly FYI.... maybe once or twice a year, check your credit report. Make sure the LCSA is correctly reporting the amount paid AND that you are making monthly payments. I noticed Sutter is reporting the child support as a higher amount AND are reporting ZERO amount paid. Although it shows good standing, both have an impact on your credit.
