I had an unusual experience, Magic nails is the highest rated nail salon in Yuba City. I called a week ago to make an appointment but was told they do walk ins only, and I could not request a specific nail tech. I went in today and saw how small the salon was ( when I was told to rinse my hands I had to squeeze between a couple techs doing pedicures and the manicure table sideways.) The nail tech I had kept hitting my skin with the drill causing me to flinch from the pain. I showed a photo of what I wanted and was told he couldnt do it so I picked another design that he said he could do. My nails look great but not exactly what I wanted. Also the nail tech told me to turn my phone off, his accent was a little heavy so I asked did you just tell me to turn my phone off and he replied yes, turn it off, I told him Im not turning my phone off. The quality of nail seems good but the service was odd.

Nails by Tiffany. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my NAILS and Tiffany was Amazing. This was my first time getting my nails done here. Ive been here multiple times but never with enough time to wait. They are always SO busy but it is worth the wait! I will only come here to get nails done from now on. P.s. your nail tech knows best. If I had not gone with Tiffanys suggestion on length my nails would not have looked this good. So if u come in with a picture listen to their advice.

I was extremely happy with my nails at first but only 4 days later and half of my nails are coming off not worth the 70$ I paid. I went back 3 days later when my first nail broke off then the rest coming off the following day it’s not even worth going back. I didn’t mind paying more since they came out so good but this is the shortest amount of time I have ever had a set last. *and I was very cautious with my nails

Took my daughter to get her nails done for her birthday. She had noticed in one of their advertisements something about a discount on your birthday. When she told them it was her birthday one of the ladies laughed a bit and said your birthday?My birthday, everybody birthday. I could tell that she hurt my daughters feelings(most likely unintentionally). Other than that they are nice people, good job on things they do. Very busy. A bit more expensive than I thought.

I love magic nails so much i’ve gone here for fills a bunch and the nail techs are so nice! they are on a little bit of the pricy side but totally worth it!!!

I got a really long, intense design on my nails. It took nearly three hours but the man who did them was so dedicated and focused so hard on them. I really appreciate the time and effort that went into every nail set I’ve gotten here. They have truly talented people here. Love it.

One of my favorite nail salons I’ve been to. They were very busy when I arrived but that’s usually a good sign for nail salons. Lee did an amazing job on my nails. I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted and she replicated it with perfection. She took her time and was precise. A very skilled nail artist. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I took my friend and her daughter her to get their nails done. They did an amazing job on the nails. Very professional. I thought Id be bored standing there for an hour bu but it went by quick. I actually had fun. They had me laughing and everyone in the salon was laughing and having fun. I would recommend them to anyone.

Because of the ratings, I decided to try this salon. Customer service was on point. If you like to hang out with a bunch of sassy girls, prepare to be entertained. Everyone was having a great time and in these times, it is very satisfying to find people enjoying themselves and interacting.

Very crowded and experience was meh. My pedicure polish lasted about the normal 2 weeks, but when I took it off at home, my big toes were peeling and my nails turned white. It almost looks like I got fungus on the big toes but cannot be certain. Tried it one time and probably wont go back.

The owner, Tiffany, is extremely rude to her customers and has an aggressive approach when it comes to payment. She wants customers to go pull out cash instead of using the card machine. She also intimidates her clients into tipping more money. On top of that, she charged me $20 more for the same set another client just received. They do quality nails in my opinion, but the customer service and price gouging will keep me from ever going there again.

This place is not the best, it’s not the worst either. The price is expensive for the service they provide. 15 for regular manicure but the cuticles were not even trimmed correctly. They push the gel, “because regular manicure won’t last”. Then why do you offer it? Is your top coat not good quality?? Is it water down?? If you use good products it would last 5-7 days. Which is okay with me. The regular pedi is 23!! Really?? The heel was not even addressed... the tools are not sterilized!!!! The only good thing is the linen they use. My lady was the sweetest thing, I felt bad for her but her hand is not steady so the nail color work was not the best. They main lady that everyone says she is good!!! She is very unprofessional... fighting and arguing with customers and she is very proud to tell people she is mean. I think you can go somewhere else and pay less for this service.

This is by far my favorite nail salon to go to by far! The owner is SO funny, and she always makes it a very enjoyable experience. I’ve been there a few times total, but I’ve always left very happy! Prices are slightly high, but they make up for it with the beautiful outcome!

Awesome little shop! They dont take appointments, so if you are going during peak times (weekends, holidays) plan some shopping, get on the list, go get your shopping done, and Tiffany will call you back when its your turn. They do a really quality job, everyone wants you to be happy with the product you are paying for and they are harsh critics of themselves. They have a special sense of humor, so dont get offended, just listen and enjoy! This place is a real gem and I hope all the great reviews helps you pick them over some of the less out of the way shops. This place really deserves good business!

I just got my nails done by T and she was amazing! One thing I love is that if anything happens to your gel nails within 10 days they will fix them! Love love love this place and I am going to recommend it to everyone that I know. Very very happy with my experience.

Its walk-in only, which is great if you hate making appointments and it works for busy schedules like mine. The owner is funny to sit down and listen to while you wait. Its a cut and dry, no frills kind of place when you need it. Its no relaxing spa but I have been back several times.

I have been getting my nails done here for three years now. They make you feel like family and the new chairs and pedicure stations are relaxing.

The owner was super nice and helped me get exactly what I want. They did try to upsell on the gel polish but thats expected. Overall great little place. Pricey but no more so than other shops in the area. I would go back if I wasnt so poor 🤣

It is a very welcoming environment and you can tell that they put time & effort in cleaning the massage chairs, which is something I look for in a s. Super friendly! I got a French tip fade two weeks ago, I’m a teenager and I’m really hard on my nails, but these have held up wonderfully! I’m super impressed! I will definitely be going back again. They were a little pricier, but worth it! They made sure I was comfortable and offered me water. I got the younger lady and she did a perfect job on my nails and didn’t hurt me at all!

Fun place to go! My sis and I got manipedi and they did a great job. You got to choose, off a menu type sheet, just what way you want your pedicure done as well as manicure. Everyone was pleasant and cheerful. I will go there again.

This is a great place to enjoy services. I got a pedicure and a full set of gel nailsIn total it cost me $65, they have a whole bunch of different services for pedicures with reasonable prices. I got one of the more expensive services for my pedicure. No appointments, all walk-in services. Everyone that work there was very nice friendly and sincere.  There was different races of people receiving services and the employees treated everyone the same with respect and kindness.There were even mothers that have their children with them and they allowed the mothers to keep the children with them while receiving services, and they were even kind to the children, ( all the children were well-behaved by the way). Personally its not ideal to bring children into a nail shop but sometimes mothers have to do what they can.Its nice that the nail shop didnt Shame the mothers from bringing the kids in with them.Im happy to say my nails look great,My experience was nice and reasonable prices, this is where I like to go.

Super friendly staff, and their work is even better. Ive been having trouble finding a nail salon that doesnt rush through their work and actually cares about their clients, until now. My nail techs took their time and showed that they really cared about the work they were doing. My nails look amazing, and I absolutely plan on coming back.

I love this place I went here the first time and I’ve been going ever since ! I get acrylics done all the time and they’re so strong they never break my polish always looks amazing and the service couldn’t be better. I will never go back it was my first time going here and the guy that attended me did not take off my acrylic nails properly at all, the guy I got was very rude too and I asked him for regular manicure and he did Gel when I said regular!

Horrible service at my first visit, then the next day my gel polish came off. And was still wet I had to go back and it has come off again. Not happy

At first I was wondering how long I was supposed to soak my nails (I was getting acrylics removed) because the lady got up and started working on someone else. 15 minutes passed by then a nice gentleman asked me how I was doing so I mentioned that I was confused as to how long I needed to soak my nails. Another lady came to explain the procedure and shortly after another started to work on my nails. She did a great job! I wish my lady hadn’t left me to go do a pedicure.

I absolutely love this salon. I moved to Yuba City about three years ago, and I have been searching and searching; I experience one disappointment after another. And then I found Magic Nails. THANK GOODNESS !! They saved me from taking a trip to the Bay Area. And the rapport is awesome, if you have style, personality, and a sense of humor, this is definitely THE PLACE FOR YOU.

I was looking for a place to get a pedicure that takes cleanliness seriously. This is it! They line the bowls with plastic liners (a must for me!), they wear gloves, they use autoclave to sanitize and use disposables. The shop is clean and uncluttered. The ladies are friendly and attentive. They want you to be completely comfortable and satisfied. They even offer you water! I will definitely be back. I recommend giving them a try.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. I came here to get my nails done for my birthday and one of the Chinese ladies didn’t even understand what I wanted to get and gave me the exact opposite, and on top of that she was being so rude and literally yelling while talking to me. Everyone in the salon was was looking at me and it was just a terribly experience. I’m definitely not coming back. Don’t even deserve 1 star.

I was charged twice on my credit card for one service. The total on my credit card was $156.00 for a pedicure and manicure, not to mention over charged as well. When I noticed the charge on card was double, I called and was told that she tried to call me but I’ve never given her my phone #. I explained she over charged me and she charged my credit card twice. She told me to wait and the bank would refund me my money. I explained I could file a claim or she could credit my card $78. She refused to credit my card. I walked into Magic nail salon and asked for the difference of the over charge be given to me and Tiffany refunded me the difference. She also stated don’t worry about your money. We are not going any where, we’re staying right here. I filed my claim with my bank and I NEVER planon going back!
