I dislike posting negative reviews but I am extremely disappointed in the quality of work I received. I had pedicures done there before and had no complaints. For the first time I decided to get my finger nails done and I regret it. The nail tech was rushing, not paying attention, nipped my skin and drew blood several times. At some point I asked her not to finish because I didn’t like the way it was turning out and remove everything, to which she replied that I still had to pay. Very disappointed.

My grandmother and I went to this salon today to get manicures and pedicures for a wedding and we were so pleased! My Grandma had Tina for her nails (and we were beyond thrilled with the result). Her French Tip was gorgeous! I had the pleasure of having Natalie do my nails and she had nailed it completely! I was so happy with the ending product! She added a few flowers to my toes that was a great touch and she did some silver and gold glitter on my fingers that was stunning!! The staff here is delightful and so welcoming! The environment is friendly and calming, a great place for relaxing! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much, Ballazio Salon and Spa!

Ive been coming here for years and have tried others from time to time.. Keeps it clean, great massage chairs, nice people! Not telling favorites but theyre long time employees too which I think says a lot. Husband asks for dates there... love it!call ahead if you dont want to wait.

Well they used to be great. The most expensive pedicure, forget the name, took about an hour. The last 5 or 6 pedicures have taken less time. This last time was 38 minutes and thats with her getting up 3 times. There was no deep tissue massage. No hot rocks and the bottom of my feet are still rough. I think Im done with Ballazio and I will be looking elsewhere. No to mention they really push for you to get a manicure but why would anyone when the pedicure is subpar.

I went here with my daughter for manicures. I have naturally long nails and asked for acrylic. She asked me what length then completely ignored my request and gave me nails much shorter than mine (filed mine away). If youre unable to do it, why ask me? She was rude to me while she did my nails. They ended up messily applied and uneven, poorly painted, and when I mentioned being unhappy when I paid, the other staff member told me she couldnt see anything wrong. Understand, I pretty much never complain about anything because I know the rudeness some people have to endure in their work. Another lady offered to fix it and the woman at checkout yelled at her in another language the entire time. That individual who fixed my nails is the only reason I didnt give it zero stars. She was sweet and helpful and I reserved my generous tip for her!

I’d gone in for a manicure pedicure. This was a different tech.Pedicure came out great.Manicure didn’t. The process was uncomfortable. Technician tried to have me do dip powder after telling her three times I’m not interested.Then she shoved the nail filer deep into my cuticles. It was uncomfortable. She made rude comments about my cuticles being long. It’s been too long since I’ve had a manicure and there was built up. The comments and gestures were unnecessary.In the pictures you’ll see the nail polish job. It was just terrible.If you are feeling desperate, don’t bite the bullet with them.Trust me.

First off, The pedicure tech turned on the water and told me to put my feet in, the water was cold! I said, its cold and she just walked off, so I turned it to hot to heat up the water. I feel as though I was rushed through, making my experience less than relaxing. I asked if I could stay and let my polish dry. She said, yes. Stay as long as you need. So after 10 minutes or so, another lady seemed to be upset that I was still sitting there, my polish wasnt dry when she walked over, sat down then litterley ripped off the cotton and agressivley shoved my shoes on. Now my polish is all messed up. They should be letting the polish dry in between coats. You cant apply layer after wet layer of nail polish and expect them to dry properly for the clients.

Kim is the best you have. I have not had ingrown toenails since Ive been going.

I was very disappointed with the $65 charge for acrylic nails and a $55 pedi that I thought was going to be $45 for each. And she hurt my daughter with the file. I was told the full set would be $40 and up i should have questioned the $65 but i just paid and left and wont be back.

Not one to write bad reviews, but very unhappy with my experience. I went with two of my girlfriends, none of us were pleased with our manicures. I asked for a French tip. Manicurist was rushing, nails were not even and looked like someone quickly rubbed white out on my nails. Asked for a touch up, was again completed in a hurry and still looked terrible. Could’ve done a better job myself.

Trish was wonderful I have not been this happy with my nails in a long time. I pick my main color then asked her to go from there to create a simple but classy fall look. She nailed it! I watched her do another ladies nail right before me and that woman showed her some ideas and Trish was able to do a super cute reindeer...coming back for my holiday nails for sure!

The staff has really given me a make over on my toes. Really did an amazing job an so quick and gentile. I love them! From their amazing selection of nail polish colors to their well kept salon. It is amazing and really unbelievable. I love this salon and I highly recommend anyone to Prestigious Nails. It is affordable and worth it.

I really enjoy coming to the Ballazio in Yuba City. I live all the way in Sacramento, and drive out to see my favorite nail technician Linda. She is the most talented manacurist I have ever met. She pays impeccable attention to detail and can freehand draw like a professional artist. I really wish there was somebody this talented around where I live. Shes kind and I really enjoyed talking to her.

Went in to go get my Birthday nails..showed them a picture of what I wanted and they had said yes they could do it and when it was time to pain the nails they gave colors that werent even in the picture after I saw it looked soo bad I told her I want it removed she just painted over It instead of cleaning it off..would not recommend anyone coming to the salon also should definitely tell the customer that they will be an extra charge for what ever they wanted instead go arguing with the customer at checkout...dont go

My nails came out perfect, but i go to get a pedi to get my feet scrubbed and They didnt do a very good job. By two days my feet are rough. I paid 65 dollars for what, just to have my feet painted. Very disappointing the last two times I went they didnt clean my toes and scrub your feet like they should.

I absolutely DO NOT recommend going to this place! I’ve never gone somewhere and had my nails done so poorly until I went here! They literally cha he there prices when they tell you it’s one amount then when you pay it’s way over what they said and there very overpriced, they don’t listen to you and do what THEY want! I just don’t recommend this place at all!

DEFINITELY would not go here again or recommend this place to anybody!!!! Me and my friend went here we had to drive from woodland. We had to wait of course cause of the new regulations from covid which didn’t bother me but we spent 200 for our stuff that fell off after a week. Literally FELL off and they turned yellow. Our feet were still callused and the guy wouldn’t listen to me with what I wanted for my nail color and decided to do what he wanted. After sitting there for a couple hours I didn’t feel like arguing or being there any longer. The real problem is they are using cheap quality stuff that they are charging way too much for and for both me and my friends nails to fall off after a week is just ridiculous. I would like my money back but that will never happen 🙄 I would never recommend this place!

My mom came here to get her nails done but left the salon with a deep cut on her middle finger nail. very unprofessional of a salon to cause a deep cut and then not even give a discount. Would not recommend at all because of the potential risks of developing an infection due to the cut.On top of that some nails do not even have polish on the side. Not a good job at all.

My nail place was temporarily closed and had to drive up to Yuba City to get a mani and pedi. The nail tech didn’t do a great job on my toes she rushed and didn’t shaped my toe then I got a mani full set gel fake tips, it hasn’t been a week yet and 2 of my nails broke.. I am very disappointed...

Their prices are different than what it says up front. And I saw lady that got in the same time as me and her nail tech kept leaving her than coming back. The nail tech was not professional at all. Will nit come here back again

I waited over an hour to be helped. Once I got in I had to wait 15 more mins to be helped. When the man was doing my nails he would get up and wonder away. My friends went with me and they were done in 40mins. It took the man 2 hours to finish my nails for a basic set. Overall he had terrible costumer service.

When we got in it was good but then I was sitting and waiting for 2 hours not getting my nails done. Some people were having 2 or 3 staff doing theirs. The quality wasn’t even that good. Also I got a design on my toes and it was $5 just for a little tiny design. The design was nice but still. All around not very good. The design that my cousin got looked like a 2 year old did it. Also they yanked my cousins acrylic nail off. This place wasn’t very good and I highly don’t recommend

I got a full set and this lady rushed and made my nails LOOK WORSE than when after I got them done. She cut them way to short and I told her to do coffin shaped and they look so horrible I almost cried I asked her to fix them and she said no it was my fault. And she didn’t even check to see if the length was okay when she cut the first one. Not okay definitely not worth $50. I’m so livid. I drove 45 minutes to come here. Worst service ever.

I went here on a whim today, without seeing the reviews. I got a gel manicure for $25. They did a great job! She cleaned up my super messy cuticles, gave a nice little hand massage and the polish looks good. Not the best Ive ever had but it was a good overall visit and fast! Ill probably go back, if they hold up!

I asked for a fill. I was told to sit down and the guy started using the drill. Everything seemed fine until he started filling my nails with the powder.He didnt even go all the way to the cuticle. Its like he didnt fill them at all.I told him two different times that he needed to fill it in better and he just added more powder to the top, making the nails thicker and thicker. Lets just say I left pissed off and feeling like he couldnt understand what I was telling him. Also one of the ladies that was working was coughing all over the place. If youre sick you shouldnt be at work!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I got a very very grumpy lady who did my manicure. After she used the wrong shade of red I asked for on my nails she refused to fix it... was very inconsiderate and rude on top of that. I only got a level 1 pedicure, same as my mother, she got a fill and I got gel nails... nothing too fancy just polka dots and the total was $166!!!! Very unreasonable and now they are already peeling off two days later! I WILL NEVER EVER EVER COME BACK!

Best place for a haircut. Tracy does a great job and shes very consistent. Ive been seeing her for years. I stopped getting my pedicure here because they are very inconsistent quality. Definitely recommended for hair.

Every time I come I. To get my nails done they break in one or two days. And it doesnt really seem like the care about their first unless they are doing dip or one of there more expensives services. I have been come here for the last time today. I will no longer reccomend them to anyone.

Went in and showed them a picture of what I wanted for my toes and hands and neither one looked like in the pic. Yes I know its not going to look exact but they werent even close. I also wanted almond shape on my nails and the lady said it would be $5 extra. Really?? I hadnt gotten my nails done in years so I really wanted it to be great but it was a disappointment.

I cant ever remember going to a nail that was super organized, super clean and super friendly. The owner is amazing and offers up the best nail services around.

Horrible experience. Will NEVER go back again. I went and asked for a pedicure and acrylic, but instead of getting a relaxing experience i was too focused on the harsh job the lady was doing on my hands. I felt like she was trying to rush me out of there. She over glued 2 of my nails then tried drilling off the dry glue cutting into my skin and over drilled on my thumb cuticle causing it to bleed. I have never had a more painful acrylic manicure experience in my life. Not to mention she did not even check to see if my nails were symmetrical, the nail polish did not have a smooth finish and she left glue all over my fingers. NOT SATISFIED AND WILL NEVER RETURN! NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

This place is AWFUL. My sister and I came here to get our eyebrows done and the lady BURNT her eyelids completely. The skin got inflamed and she can barely open her eyes. We tried to complain to the employee but she didn’t speak English at all. We also complained to the manager but he did nothing. This service is unbelievable and the employees are obviously not qualified to do any service. This is a warning for anyone NOT TO COME HERE AND AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Did a great job on my eyelashes. All staff very friendly. Held my 7month old for an hour while I had my eyelashes done. Tried to tip her $10 and she gave me the money back. Wow! Don’t understand why this place has bad reviews! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Will return! 🤗

I used to love this place but my service today was horrible...she cut the side of my thumb so deep with an embry board, refused to make my nails the color/simple style I asked for saying Sometimes picture and real life arent the same so disappointed...

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. My polish is already chipping (mind you I went in YESTERDAY) the guy doing my nails (tommy) COULD NOT do marble even though he said he could. (ended up looking like smeared paint, until another lady fixed them.) THEN I was charged an extra 5$ for the way MY NAILS WERE SHAPED.

So the girl that does hair there has no idea what she is doing. Asked for blond highlights on the top half my hair and the bottom half full blond, bleach obviously had to be used. My hair was very thin and fine and she totally fried it and killed my hair. There was even a point where the bleach was burning the back of my scalp and I HAD to tell her it hurts. She obviously knew she killed my hair and tried covering it up by curling my hair so you couldnt tell it was fried until I got home and showered ect. Again totally ruined my hair she has no clue what she was doing or how to simply bleach hair. After leaving I also noticed scabs on the back of my head from the burning bleach with foil and heat. Will NEVER give them my money again and advise people not to go there.

I went here to get dark highlights and brighten my already blonde hair on top of the dark highlights. I came out of there with ALL BLACK HAIR! All my blonde is gone. I have two big steaks of blond on each side of my head, looks like two bald spots. And two going down each side of my head that’s it! I went in for her to fix it and she put something in my hair that brought the blonde out for about a half hour then blended back in leaving me with all black hair.

I had my nails done by Lisa, I have to say my experience was great! . She listened and got the perfect shape and flawless !!! Thank you Lisa !

This is a horrible nail salon!! They treated my 13 year old daughter horribly. Her nails started to break 2 days after getting them done and then when she went back to get them fixed they were so rude to her!! I took her to another nail shop to fix them. We will never return!

I paid 55 dollars and 5 of my nails broke within 3 weeks. I called and owner and he said to come for fill for 40. I requested to have removed for free and he claimed they can break and would fill for 40. I have had my nails done many times at other salons and never had this issue. I will not return ever.

Worst nail experience Ive had so far. Never been there before, went in for a simple fill. My acrylic nails are now so thick, totally uneven... thicker in some spots, thin in others multiple hairs in the clear gel finish and I had to ask them to fix spots but eventually got tired of asking and feeling like they werent seeing what I was seeing, plus had been there for an hour for a simple fill and was ready to leave. Then was asked if I wanted to leave a tip after all that. I basically paid for a full set and got a fill that left my nails so thick, uneven, bumpy and with hair in the gel top coat. Ill never go back and wish I could get my money back!

I love there is always enough staff and ur not standing around waiting or being turned away.

I go there every other week to get a gel fill and a pedicure, the place is one of the best in yuba city. Very clean and the always wait on you hand and foot (haha) great customer service. Highly recommended.

I paid $70 and 6 of my nails lifted a week later.

The lady cut my toe and kept wiping the blood as if I wouldnt see it. Now I have to take antibotics since it got infected. Not worth it!

BEFORE YOU GO PLEASE READ !!!!!!Okay so lets start of by saying this .. on Tuesday may 30, 2017 a friend and I wanted to get fills on our nails, but the places we both are use to going were closed . So we were looking around and searching places up and we ended up in Yuba city and decided this place looked really nice and we should go . So we went in good service it was packed, so we had to wait for about 15-20 minutes to get someone they did a good job and all till two days later .. my left hand thumb gel polish was chipping ! So I went back got it fixed they did it for free .. then another 2 days later my right hand thumb chipped! Went back got it re done and looked at my index figure on the same hand and realized it was chipping so the guy re did them .. now yesterday June 6 I went back because my right hand thumb chipped again and now I was starting to feel bad and was at the point of just wanting my money back and today June 7th I went back because my luck my index finger on my right hand chipped again . Okay so this is where it starts getting worse although theyve been fixing the mistakes and not charging me was good because I paid 30$ just for a fill of gel ! Anyways so this lady decided to do my nails this time and she redid them and applied new diamonds on my nails, but she did them quick didnt place them properly in the middle and when she was done I had gone to Walmart looked at my nails ! They did it once again they mest up she left bubbles in my nails and put the diamond on backwards ! So I went back ! Discussed with them and figured something out they were giving dirty looks and speaking their native language .. when they were done fixing them the guy told me not to go back anymore ! How rude was that it wasnt my fault they didnt do the job right like they had to the first time and they get paid to do something right ! Also they didnt even go under the nail and file my outgrown natural nail like other places do . As well they were telling my friend I was making a big deal and my friends were telling them Id be mad too .. I dont recommend anyone to go to this salon . It was the worst experience Ive been through since Ive been getting acrylics done .
