I got a regular manicure with Lee today. This is not a complaint nor any reflection on Lee or the business nor am I interested in a refund. Im only posting this to let the salons management know that something is wrong with, the base coat or Opi polish or Top Coat compatibility because 15 minutes after I left the shop the polish was running and smearing and my nails where completely dry when I left the shop. . Each nail was rough to the touch and the polish lifting off the mails. Im disappointed and baffled as this was my first visit to the shop. The staff is sweet, friendly and customer oriented, but the product combination or applying method is as pictured..

Ive been to Gypsy Nails on two separate occasions and Both times I was very satisfied with the job done and the service I received. I definitely recommend Gypsy Nails to any and everyone who wishes to get there nails done.Side note: Nail tech Jay is exceptional!

I’ve been going to this location for years. Ask for Jay or Holly. I usually get an American or ombré. Ombré is competitively priced and my nails always comes out perfect from Jay.

Ive been going to Gypsy Nails for 10+ years. Holly is amazingly talented! The salon is great, lots of pedicure chairs, wifi, and 2 big screen TVs! Everyone that works there is very nice! You will not be disappointed!!

I extremely demanding. Did I say extremely? I don’t understand why people not give them a 5 star. Very nice. Very clean. My regular manicure lasts for two weeks at least!!!! The price is excellent. They do paraffin and place a warm pillow on your neck. Great place!!!!!

They are rude to start with. I simply hit a polish change on my feet and I asked her to square out the big toe and she decided to do her own thing and I asked twice. She did a rush job and it looks like I did my feet myself. I also don’t find that they are sanitary.

My nails always come out perfect! Been goong to Gypsy nails for over 20 years! Only one bad experience where my cuticles were bleeding when I left. Be sure to ask for lotion and not the oil when your manicure is finished or you will have problems driving home.

Awesome service! I got a pedicure and it was wonderful as soon as you walk in they offer you water, wrap your shoulders with a warm towel and heating pad and it even includes waxing!

Worst service ever they were so rude; It was my first time getting Mani Pedi with my daughter, so we very super excited! However; this experience quickly turned into a complete nightmare because the nail tech was very unprofessional and rude she completely saturated my daughter pants instead of asking her to roll them up during the pedi; when I mentioned it she ignored us. We felt that we were treated very poorly so we decided leave.

I have been going to Holly for 15 + years. She is an expert with nails and goes out of her way to make it a very pleasurable experience. I also get the deluxe pedicure which is most enjoyable and relaxing. The prices are right and they take care to make sure their instruments and areas are sterilized. I have had many compliments on my nails over the years. I look forward to each of my appointments.

I have been with Gypsy Nails for 20 years (Holly Bach). They are careful in ensuring the equipment they use is sterilized. When you walk in you feel like home as they are privately owned. I have had strangers compliment my nails and asked for the address you cannot go wrong with anyone at this location. I moved between Mount Dora and Plymouth Sorrento and have continued with Holly as I do not trust going any where elseIf you are looking for a great pedicure again best place to be the prices are great and just keep your eye out for her special.

28 years experience in doing nails.. My go to for the best work. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. I would not go anywhere else. The best in Winter Park!

This was my first time here and my nail tech was rude from the moment I walked in the door. She asked me questions with an attitude. Before I got my toes painted, I wanted them cut down as she did not cut them down or ask, and she responded by saying, you shouldve been told me that because I already finished filing. She kept breathing heavily when I asked or suggested something. She left me in the pedicure chair for my nails and toes to dry and never told me to sit under the nail and toe dryer. When she felt I was done, she said you can leave, with an attitude. Very rude and did not feel welcome. Will never return.

Just got my nails done and all of them were not shaped the same at all... I spoke up like 10 times and nothing changed.... won’t be going back

I have been going to Gypsy Nails for 15+ years. I have acryllics. I am in and out in a half hour and my nails are strong! I am really tough on my nails and very rarely do I come back with a broken nail or with lifting in the back like I used to get at my previous nail salon. The price is great too. I have been extremely happy with the service that Holly provides.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I went in for a pedi was immediately met with strange looks sat down asked the technician to cut down my nails...after about maybe 5 minutes of doing whatever she did she was ready for me dip my feel in wax which I dont care too much for...i asked if she was done she said yes I said no maam...my nail are not cut and you did not scrub my feet or anything plus my cuticle needed some TLC...after she scrubed my feet she proceeded to paint my nails...it was the absolute worst pedicure I have ever had the pain job was as if someone blind painted plus she got an attitude when I told her to fix it...i feel like if you dont like doing feet dont do buy if you are going to do something do it right! I am NEVER going back there!

I live right next door and come every 2 weeks. Clean place, nice people and my nails always come out just the way I like them. I would recommend them

I love this place! First time Ive been here and service was good! But.... I gave it a 4star because just one of my nail is crooked just slightly and its bothering me lol! Paid $45 just for a full set acrylic but I got the long almond shape with punk polish and holographic top coat!!!! I will be back before the 4th of July!

I will not return to this location. The customer service is terrible and my nails were subpar. When I came in I asked about the price difference between putting acrylic over my natural nail or doing a tip. I was told $20 for the natural nail and $30 for acrylic. My nails were long enough they didn’t need fake tips, obviously I went with that. The girl put the acrylic on thick and several of my nails were crooked. She seemed annoyed when I asked her to fix them. It wasn’t busy. There wasn’t anyone waiting after me. Why wouldn’t you appease the customer? If you’re not going to do a good job why are you here? Not only that, but she didn’t even do a full manicure. There’s remnants of old nail polish on several of my fingers and underneath my nails which really bothers me. Anyway, when she was done I smudged one of my nails by accident and she tried to do a really crappy patch job. I asked her to remove the nail polish and redo the finger. She slammed the drawers around and complained to her coworker in another language. Gee, thanks. My biggest discrepancy is when I went to pay somehow the amount went from $20 to $30 with no explanation, even though the sign even says $25. Fine. I paid it, but I won’t come back, and I encourage anyone else to reconsider if they want quality nail technicians to work on their nails.

Walked in stood there for 5 mins. Finally was acknowledged asked for a pedicure. Lady said wait wait wait wait and finally was told after another 5 mins that there is a 45 min wait. Wont be back.

Everytime I get my nails done there they look nice, but only for a few days before it pops off or breaks. The color selection for gel polish is EXTREMELY limited. When I get acrylic, it is always out in sloppy and my nails are always misshaped. When I get my pedicures done I have to constantly remind them to put a top coat on, I shouldn’t have to do that, that should be expected. Very lazy.

This a busy salon that has been in business for over 20 years. While they do take walk in clients most long term clients make appointments and know that there will be a wait if they just “pop” in. The staff is knowledable and professional.I have seen them put up with abusive clients with demanding attitudes about pricing and expectations with a smile and politeness that is beyond customer service!!!They have always extended quality in my manicures and pedicures.

I work in the area and go in every 2-3 weeks to get my nails done they are friendly and a great bunch of people.

Five stars for this top-rate nail salon. Gypsy Nails has been a Winter Park fixture IN THIS LOCATION for at least 20 years. Family owned and run isnt impressive for a pizza joint, but it is here, believe me.I am notoriously hard to please. Im a mother of four 20-somethings, and they will back me up on that.I have been going to Gypsy Nails since 2000 or before. When I graduated from Rollins in 2002, I treated two of my fellow grads to mani-pedis alongside me. When I was away during law school, I had to have my nails done out of town a couple of times. Yeccch. Not the service, cleanliness, or beautiful result Id hoped for. Ditto when Ive been in The Hamptons. Yes, New York is supposedly superior-- only it was inferior.Even when my schedule and my regular manicurists dont match up, Ill let anyone at Gypsy Nails fill in. (Pun!) Ive always been happy. Always. But I hesitate to tell you who has been doing my nails all these years, because if I do, I might miss out on landing a last- minute appt with him.You can have Perfect-Match Polish: gel on your fingers and the same non-gel color on your toes. (Toe polish doesnt have to be gel, because it doesnt wear off. Gel is more expensive.)You can have colored acrylic, which means the tint is in the powder. You NEVER lose color, but if you want renewed shine, apply a quick-dry topcoat. One of my favorite things about this is having Jay apply a new colored acrylic that fades into the old color. You know about Ombré? Jay and I invented Ombré nail color two and a half years ago. Deep pink color? Use orange or coral next. Or a bright yellow. Use your imagination!I have tried everything at Gypsy Nails: clear acrylic with colored polish, French manicure, pink and white, colored acrylic, and acrylic with gel color. And their ridiculously decadent pedicures in their new chairs. And eyebrow waxing. I have always been satisfied.At least three times since Ive been going to Gypsy Nails, theyve replaced the manicure stations and the power pedi chairs. They have flatscreen TVs on good channels, AND THEY HAVE FREE WIFI.Id say you should get there while the getting is good, and become a regular before Marshalls, Homegoods, and WholeFoods customers take your place.

Went for the first time today after a friend recommended them and really enjoyed it.I got the mani pedi special with polish on my feet and gel on my fingers for about $60 total.Ive never had a pedicure before and when I let the nail tech know she was very kind about it and explained everything before she did it. The pedi was a foot soak, nail trim, cuticle trim, a wax peel, lotion, and heel file. She checked in with me often to make sure something didnt hurt or tickle and it really made me feel much more relaxed. The chairs have very nice massage settings too.The mani was pretty standard with another very nice lady, Kim, who joked with me a lot. She did two nails (black french tip) and then checked that I liked it, when I asked them to be a little thicker she said no problem and fixed it. She continued doing about two nails at a time, checking each time to make sure it was right. She was very gentle about everything.My only complaint is that when I got home I noticed the nail of my thumb was very uneven, but since she checked in with me about each nails and I didnt catch her I cant fault her for that. It took all of two seconds to even out.They have a wide selection of polish, including OPI and Essie, as well as some special polish like liquid sand colors, and a few different scents for pedis (mango, green tea, lavender, and vanilla mint).Overall, a really good experience. Only improvements I can think of are a little more range in bright or odd colors, more samples of work, and a site available for appointments.

I spent $38 on a full set even though it is listed as being $25 and my nails look HORRIBLE. The guy that did them (Jay) didnt even finish them. He told me to dry the first coat and that was the last I saw of him until an older woman came and finished my nails. THis place has HORRIBLE service and are way over priced. I could have gone to WALMART and gotten them done beterr. NEVER AGAIN.

Ask for Holly!! I bite my nails and she is the ONLY nail professional that can get nails to stay on!! She is fantastic!! Again...ASK FOR HOLLY!!

This place messed my nails up so bad!!!!! Do not go here!! They will argue with you and talk about you!!! They have horrible customer service skills!! And way over charged me and I hated them when I left!!!

Went to the salon at 630 pm on a Saturday there were no customers and the staff were sitting around talking. Ask for 2 Manis and Pedis and was told they closed in 20 minutes. The sign on the door said they closed at 730 pm. Will not go back or recommend them. They clearly didnt want my business.

Going back today for a fill. The manager, Holly, resurrected a horrible mess that another salon made of my nails, I have had many compoliments and they have lasted well.

This place is horrible, you are just basically paying for a massage, they don’t do a good cleaning, service was horrible the ladies they don’t grind your feet the only cut your nails and put lotion for $25!
