At 1st, I was hesitant to give this place a try. But after all the wonderful reviews, I decided to take my chances. This is by far the best quality work I have ever had. I am extremely happy. Miss Kim takes her time and it shows. Love, love, love my nails!

Amazing. Kim did my nails great. She was very welcoming and did better than any place I’ve ever been. I really do recommend!$30 for my nails.

I reall enjoyed getting my pedicure done by Holly! She got my feet feeling like a babies and my toes look awesome! I also got the dip nails done by another very nice woman, whom i forgot her name but they both took their time and they came out perfect!! Would recommend this nail place for sure!

I am a very picky customer but Kim and Harley are AMAZING! I will not go anywhere else again! This was my first visit and was treated like an old friend. Awesome service and quality work! They are also super sanitary! Im in love with this shop.

I felt like the ladies were very nice but I will never go back. It took one lady 20mins to take off my gel nail polish. She was going very slow and used the wrong tool. The shape of my nails are not great. The next lady put so many layers of paint and had to keep using nail polish remover to clean around the nail then she would mess it up and had to do another layer. There are many other issues but they took 2hours to finish my nails and I got basic everything no designs I couldn’t sit any longer.

Kim is wonderful and does a great job. Jennifer was very helpful and I have found my spot for the best service. I love it, the prices are comparable but the service is so much better here.

Kim is freaking amazing. She is OCD clean patient very nice and detail oriented. She does my dip nails and I never have to watch her. Results are always to my liking.

I got a manicure and it chipped the next day. I wasn’t acrylic, but you still pay for your nails to get painted and for them to chip the next day, wasn’t worth it

Terrible place to go. Asked for gel nail removal and regular nail polish. Dipped both of my hands in an acetone and forgot about me. Peeled most off the gel off with my nails. Cut nails and left roughed edges and was going to just polish it in those conditions. Just asked to leave and paid just for the removal which was even done properly. Extremely disappointed.

My 4 year old, 14 year old and I all got our nails done. They were so amazing with each of us. Very kind and patient with my little one, very friendly with my daughter and I. Our nails look fantastic. Took time and did quality work. Best nail place I have ever been to. I will surely be back.

Oanh was exceptional! She scrubbed off all my dead skin and really cleaned up my toenails. Her attention to detail is very good. The last nail salon I went to was more expensive and did not do this. She cares so much for her customers! Very pleased with their service and price was very reasonable. I only post reviews when someone is exceptional or really bad.

I love this nail shop. Kim is the best nail tech that I have EVER had. Not only is she great she is very sweet. She lets you know if something isn’t good for your nails or feet. She is very honest and knowledgeable. Her work is great she always does exactly want I want. I will have an idea and she makes it happen just like my idea.

I love Kim...shes great with her customers. If shes shorthanded, and customers with no appt comes in, shes honest enough to let them know of her situation and have them decide if they want to wait or not. Holly does my pedi. She doesnt know much English, but she does great work on my feet. I recommend this place 100 times over from all the neighboring nail salons that Ive been to.

Came with a few friends and service was excellent. Jennifer and Kim took care of me and my daughter. They did the Dip Nails Nexgen for us both and pedicure. Nails looked great and the customer service I loved the most. They use disposable tools for every client so that is PLUS for me. Will definitely come back. Highly recommend this place

The atmosphere here is so awesome I always feel welcome. Kim takes her time with you and my nails always turn out amazing. Nexgen is an awesome product and it doesnt way my nails down like acrylic or gel, its light and feels great. They offer so much for their customers and everyone is so friendly. I have been coming to Sea Star Nails for almost a year for my pedicures and manicures. I love Kims expertise. She does a perfect job for me every single time I go there. She always asks me what I want and she takes her time. I get the powder dip manicure because it lasts 3 or 4 weeks and I never have problems with lifting, unlike the acrylics that lift easy. I absolutely love coming here with my mom every 2 weeks to get our nails GORGEOUS. My favorite nail stylist is Ms. Kim who is always very pleasant and is an absolute genius with what works for me and my skin tone. After having a terrible week at work I came for my usual beautifying day for my mani-pedi. Not looking at what I was doing I dropped a nail polish on the ground, splattered it all over the floor, and all over my legs. She cleaned it up herself refusing my help. I had never been so embarrassed in my LIFE. She made me feel better about the situation, offered me some wine, and even cleaned the polish off of my shoes. SHE DIDNT STOP THERE! She performed an extra long leg massage (man was that nice) and I even got some cookies! And a second glass of wine of course

First time going there and Kim was amazing she soaked off my acrylics and I told her I wanted to try the dip powder and she showed me a few hundred different powders, I picked the mood changing color blue lily and I love it 😍

Recently moved to Groveland and could not find a salon close by that even knew what NexGenn Nails were....so I ate the 45 min drive and took my chances..... soooooo happy I did. Mistakenly made an appt for the Orange Ave location and ended up here to avoid the drive on I4. I will happily drive to have Miss Kim take care of my hands and feet... ECELLENT SERVICE, KIND, CLEAN, AND PROFESSIONAL

Only one person is assigned to do acrylic nails. She is very verbal about how much tip she receives and will remind you several times doing the session. Expect two hours to get your tips completed especially when other people come in and need to get them started.

I went in with an open mind. Requested a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was very sloppy, my heels were smooth going in and rough coming out. The scrub she used left ragged edges. The paint on my finger nails was put on so thick and hour after I left it easily makes impressions. I asked to correct the thick nail polish and the girl working on my nails said yeah and sent another lady to work on my nails (who I later find out is the manager). She said you are right it is to thick and proceeds to correct it by putting on clear polish 🤦🏻‍♀️ I don’t know how that corrects thick polish... but ok. The First Lady who started my nails asked if I wanted eyebrows done and I replied no thank you. She then tells me ...then you can go sit over there and wait to dry... (I believe it was her tone more than anything that really got me). Thinking to myself... I’m like ok she’s upset with me cause I complained about the thick nail polish. But I proceeded to the area she pointed to and sat under the air dryer for 30 minutes ... the nails appear dry but the polish is so thick it’s deceiving. It easily makes impressions. I ask to pay and the lady comes to check me out with her hands covered in lotion from the pedicure massage she is giving another customer. She reaches for my card with lotion filled hands and I politely say ... um me ma’am your hands are covered in lotion, do you mind wiping them clean before taking my payment. She got upset, but wiped them. I’m not sure if this was just an off day for her or if it’s a norm for her. But I as a person did apologize to her for offending her in away it was not my intentions I just wanted the polish corrected. All she said umm yeah I’m not upset 🤷🏻‍♀️ Regardless I didn’t get the polish corrected. They got busy and the manager Kim advised I could come back another time to get my nails done correctly... 🤦🏻‍♀️As a business owner myself regardless if I was busy I’d make things right so my customer would leave happy and not in tears. Solution to my visit today with sea star II ... go home remove the nail polish and smooth out the heals.... everyone deserves a second chance and if I return I hope it’s a better day for the lady that worked on me today.

This was my first time to this establishment. The two ladies that did mine and my moms nails were very pleasant. We had pleasant conversations while they did our nails. We both had mani/pedis. The massage chairs were lovely and the water was warm. They used a sugar-type scrub on our legs and did light massages on our calves and arms. They are a bit pricey, for two basic mani/pedis we walked out paying $65 before giving tops. But, I would use them again!

I was new to the area and searched for a salon close. I chose SeaStar and began going to Kim who I am told is the Manager.Every time i have gotten my nails done with in a week I have lost a nail, one flipped off when i was scratching my leg..Imagine.I returned to Kim and expressed my concern and dis-satisfaction with the product and that I wanted the 2 nails i lost with in a week of my fill repaired.Kim argued with me and then with hesitation she huffed and said fine she would fix them. I explained i would like a polish change and am more then willing to pay for that.Kim placed tips on my 2 nails needing repair that were clearly to large for my nail, slapped acrylic on top. Kim complained about the smell of the acrylic powder and why she doesnt like it and proceeded to give me a fill that looks nothing like my other nails. Hence: Kim has done my fills for the past 2 months every 2 weeks.When i washed my hands ready for my polish, I sat calmly in my chair and asked the other employee sitting a few chairs down. who is the manager She replied KimShe then asked me what was the problem.I explained to her very calmly that I work in customer service and the service Kim is providing is very disappointing and disgusting and showed her my nails.She spoke to Kim and said clearly my nails do not look the same.And told me that Kim could fix them. I. Said no this is the canvas she painted for me to show what service she provides and what the owner off this company is employing to produce revenue. Not so sucessfully.When running this type of business you do Not know who is walking through your doors By Choice! And who that person may know and who they know and so on.If i were the owner of Sea Star 2 I would certainly question my choices in regards to the positive impact my staff is creating.I will never return.
