Came here for the first time. I sat down and showed my nail tech what I wanted and her face lit up and said “yes! I can do that!” She was so excited. At first she wanted to do my nails EXACTLY how the pictured showed, but I told her to make it her own. And she did! I hate that I didn’t get her name, but her attention to detail is ridiculous. Customer for life. Thank you Nail Q!Also, I didn’t like the atmosphere at first because it was so quiet, but my nail tech and the nail tech guy next to her made me feel very comfortable. I can’t wait to see what she does next!

This nail salon is awesome. The staff has great conversation, and they are friendly. They do an amazing job. It is quality work and great value for the cost! They always do a great job on my eyebrows, manicure, and pedicure. They are in a great location close to everything you need. I recommend this salon to everyone!

My first pedicure in a long time & came here, as a walk-in on a Sunday & they were pretty busy but worked me in right away. Not only was my pedi perfect, but a week AFTER I got my pedi, my toe nail ripped off while I was rushing coming home at 4:00pm yesterday (4/1/21) I rushed over to see if they could help re-paint and not only were they open thank god, but took me right away, and was readily going to pay, didn’t charge me a thing! Yes they re-painted both feet and they look just as good as they were the first time. Awesome people & Awesome customer service!

Walked in for a pedicure during a rush. Greeted immediately by a gentleman who informed me there were two people ahead of me. A bit of a wait because of COVID spacing requirements (understandable). However, once I was seated, I was offered a beverage! (nice touch!) My pedicure experience was awesome! Definitely coming back! Great spot! Clean and staff attentive!

Probably one of my least favorite set of nails Ive received. Showed several photos of what I wanted and still did not receive. Did not get the color I asked for. Did not get the length or shape I requested. Did a sloppy job and there is dust inside of the gel polish. He was very rude once his next client arrived and rushed to finished my nails.

Quality for a good price. They dont speak much English but are accommodating and helpful.

New ownership and it shows. By far the roughest pedicure of my life, the gentleman kept pushing and twisting my ankles in painful ways. I asked repeatedly for him to be gentler and he understood nothing. The polish was all over my toes and had to be reedone by the new owner. Even then the original technician tried to stand over my chair grumbling. So incredibly unpleasant.

Nails Q is an amazing salon that has an incredibly wonderful staff, amazing facility, and wonderful atmosphere. When you walk in you are greeted by the friendly staff who do everything they can to make you feel welcome!! I have gone multiple times and gotten gel nails each time and loved it. Definitely will continue to be a regular. Even if you dont like getting your nails done I would definitely recommend Nails Q because they are efficient and make it hassle free for you!

Nails Q has a great staff who makes sure that youre always comfortable. They greet you when you walk in and immediately cater to your service. I was wanting a pedicure, manicure, and eyebrow waxing (big order, I know) and they sat me down in a pedicure chair immediately. They turned on the water for me and offered me a drink, which I found very nice. My pedicure was very nice and relaxing, and the paint job on my toes was very well done. I got an acrylic manicure, so Loan tended to me. She did a very nice job shaping my nails and even adding a little design. My brows were done nicely and they were both perfectly even. I will be going here again!

The ladies can do jus about any nail if you show them a picture youre in the game! Affordable as well

I have been coming here for the longest time! I keep coming back because my nails last such a long time and Loan knows exactly how I like them.The paraffin was dip is wonderful... you definitely need to try! It’s the finishing touch for beautiful hands!

I was having a bad day and went to get my nails done to make myself feel better. My nail technician, Billy, noticed my dismay and asked me what was wrong. He talked me through everything and gave incredible advice while simultaneously doing an amazing job on my nails. This salon is the best I’ve ever been to and the workers are unbeatable, I’ve recommended it to everyone I know!

Lo An did such a great job on my nails! They last for weeks and look great! Everyone there is always super nice and there is never a long wait. Everything in the salon is so clean and new. Ive been to several other salons in the area and this is definitely the best one in Wilmington!

I have been several times. Depending on how busy they are-I suggest first thing in morning-you will have to wait for them to get there!One time my lovely lavender gel polish turned white-I was not happy when I was told it happens😩. I also get charged different prices for the same service-$52-55, not sure why.Linh Ryan is my favorite-sweet woman.Once no one even acknowledged I was there at all and I left but came back again in about 30 minutes. I think they are worth it!

Awesome place and worth the wait. Not as busy during the week. Went in on a Saturday and it was packed but within 30 min I was in a chair with my feet soaking. It’s sad to see how many people came in and got upset about the wait, listen if you think you are the only person coming in on a Saturday well your wrong. There’s a reason why they are that busy it’s because they are that good and if you prefer quality over garbage than you don’t mind the rate. Been going here for awhile and the owner is awesome. Highly recommend and will always go back.

The guy doing my nails was extremely rude. Then, he did a horrible job painting gel polish on my nails. He acted like me being there was an inconvenience the whole time. My nail polish is extremely bumpy and still have polish on my skin.

Nails Q is one of the best nail salons Ive been to in Wilmington! I got my nails done before a dance, and they were AMAZING! I got so many compliments on them. The staff are friendly and professional, and there are so many options! Definitely recommend!

At first everything was going nice and smoothly and it had been over 5 yrs since I had gotten my nails done and things have definitely changed but not so much to where i didnt know what I was getting. The nails were looking great and I was told it would cost me a total of $30. When she offered me gels she said it was only $5 more so I agreed! When all was said and done my nails were not the length I asked for, some of them were crooked and they stuck up at an angle instead of flush with my nail and then she tells me its going to be $45! $45??!? For what? That wasnt what I was told to begin with and shes lucky I had that money to pay it because normally I wouldnt carry that much on me. Needless to say, I refused to go back and get the same trash again! I thought after 5 yrs some places might get better. I have been sadly mistaken!

Great Experience at The Salon from the Employees.. My Only Complaint Is The Rude Racist Woman Screaming At all The Employees because They Said They Were Very Busy And Didnt Speak Good English... Its Racists Like That Who Give America A Bad Name...

My fingers were cut multiple times and bleeding afterwards, the paint is chipping off of all my nails 1 day after, I was overcharged (they were never clear or upfront about there pricing. The price my my nails changed 3 times during my session), and they refused to give me the student discount they clearly advertised.

I use to go all the way from Wallace to Q Nails. I always had a guy named T-Mobile. He was AMAZING. Made an appointment with him and was told he moved on.. Of course, they didnt know where and they all started speaking in their language and laughing. Told me they had a better nail tec for me. So I said OK. I got a guy named Peter. I explained what I wanted and what I didnt want. He assured me he was the best. I have nails that tend to go down as opposed to up and that I didnt want a space between the artificial tips and my natural nails. He said he was a pro and never does that. Again, he told me he knew what he was doing and to relax. Well, I have a space between the natural nail and the tip. Very unprofessional! Several times he grabbed my hands roughly and shoved them into the light box. He kept filing the sides real close and I asked him not to. Again, he told me to relax, he knew what he was doing. Well I went home with two thoughts...1) They looked better than what I had and 2) These were not my nails! They turn up and if you look at them closely, they are much higher at the tips. Not looking like my natural nails. Disappointed.

My girlfriend has been going here for 4 years and never had a problem! she went today to get her eyebrows done like she normally does and a lady named Ling just started screaming at her out of nowhere! when asked for a Manager, Ling continued screaming at my girlfriend telling her to get out and she can never go back again! The lady was screaming so loud that people outside can hear her and they apologized for that lady behavior. this is unacceptable!!

Thought I would give them a shot, since I was in the plaza anyhow. It looked nice enough, and the staff seemed pretty okay. But then, Michael, (fake name of course), came over and had me sit at his table. HUGE mistake. My gel manicure was sloppy and uneven, so I said something. I am paying for a fill, so I expect what I ask for. He then proceeds to ignore me, so I asked him yet again, why the gel polish did not start at the base of my cuticle?! He sucked his teeth, gave me side-eye, and told me I talk too much! I let loose on him and told him he had some fn nerve speaking to a customer like that and, hed better watch his mouth! Needless to say, a very nice tech named Julie, offered to repair my nails. Of course, no manager admitted to be on the premises. Yeah, right...Anyhow, he slso messed up my pedi, by not letting the polish dry enough, before attrmpting to slip my sandals on. Julie fixed my nails, but I ended up fixing my own freakin pedi! Tip...oh HELL NO!

Racism warning: according to sean palmer at UNCW, patrons and staff at this salon called one of his students the N word when she asked for the student discount. according to them she didnt look like a UNCW student.

Worst manicure I have ever gotten!! My nails feel so damaged and raw, I have NEVER had a manicure hurt before. They did a HORRIBLE job. Messy polish job and they dilute their polishes so much the colors arent shiny anymore. Terrible experience... go somewhere else!!!

Very poor service.....my wife went to get her eyebrows done....they talked to her rude and when she tried to tell them how to do it...they didnt listen...THEY Were Really nasty....Told Her To Go Cross The Street to get them done...we left without paying....service was worst ever! Really came off to be racist against blacks!

Staff is very rude. My 11 year old daughter went to get her nails done there. The man that did her nails threatened to cut her if she didnt sit still and repeatedly asked her if she had adhd ( which she does). She was sitting as still as she could and was embarrassed and upset when we left. When confronted about the situation he attempted to lie them admitted it. Completly Unprofessional will not go back.

Best service ever

This place is awful . They sat us down and made us wait 20 minutes . The one girl stopped in the middle of my pedicure to do someones eye brows another 15 minutes and then once done did not even bring my shoes or purse over to the dryer . Waste of money pedicure was terrible . My moms didnt even go all the way up her nail she noticed once she left . Never will return . Should not have even paid .
