The salon was clean and well staffed during a rainy day at the beach! The owner Vinnie is extremely nice and very fun - you may get serenaded when you visit. Prices are reasonable and they have a great selection of nail polishes. We are only visiting for the week but if we lived here we would be regulars!

For a $35 manicure, I am so disappointed. I got “thin” French tips and they’re thicker and uneven. Also, he cut me while cutting my cuticles... didn’t say sorry, didn’t get a discount, and I was bleeding a lot. The worst part of it all is that they do not social distance. The pedicure chairs are still close, and I was instructed to sit directly next to someone for my manicure when there was a safer spot open.

I come to LV every time I want my nails done and I have always loved it. the staff is very friendly and the salon is always clean. I won’t go anywhere else

This was my second time and second horrible experience at this salon. I decided to give this place another chance so I asked for a dip powder manicure and the female owner did my nails. She did not clean up my cuticles or even cut my nails to be the same length after I requested that in the beginning. My nails were so thick after from not being filed down properly that one popped off 4 days later. After I asked her to file them down more and clean up my cuticles, since that is what I was paying for, she just laughed and disregarded my request. When I was paying, she asked me 4 times if I could pay in cash instead of a card which is incredibly unprofessional since their system was not down or anything. I have never felt so disrespected and treated so poorly at a salon and the fact that the female owner is so rude and inconsiderate makes it so much worse. Dont waste your time, if I could give 0 stars I would.

Meh. Every single visit is a hit or miss. The nail tech that sits in the second to last chair never provides a quality manicure OR pedicure. I try and avoid her every time I go.... Toenails chipped in a day, nails didn’t even last a week and a half before chipping and breaking. She’s done my acrylics and just a gel manicure and both have had the same result. She never goes all the way down to the cuticles and never goes all the way down on the sides. Pictures attached. A $35 gel manicure should NOT look like this the second you walk out of a nail salon. Looks like Ive had them done for a week. I’m only giving them 3 stars, because Dede does an exceptional job every time I get her.

This is by far the BEST place I have ever gotten my nails done at! They had a steady stream of clients and still got everyone in in a timely manner. I like lighter colors and they dont tend to upkeep as well. The gel started to chip way into week 3! The techs were friendly and did a wonderful job. Highly, highly recommend. Good pricing as well.

The owner of the salon did my nails. Really nice guy, however.. it took 3 1/2 hours to do my nails and i was extremely over charged for something I didn’t initially come in asking for. He was unable to do the design I came in asking for so I looked up another option. That option he still could not do..we officially landed on a simple design of just dots, which we had to redo twice just to get right. I never post reviews, I never complain about a business but wow.

They did an amazing job on my gel manicure and pedicure and they were so friendly!

Every time I come here, I go away pleased. Great job on my nails and they stay looking nice for over a month. The massage chairs are more comfortable and massage better than most chairs Ive used. The technician, spends a long time massaging my legs and feet and gets all the right places in all the right ways. All this for only $25 for a basic service! I keep coming back because the nail places closer to my house dont come close to measuring up and charge more.

Only place I’ve been in Wilmington, only place I’ll ever go! Quality gel polish that lasts, neat work and friendly staff. Also, the place is clean. Prices aren’t too ridiculous and they have complementary drinks. Longest I’ve had to wait before was 10-15 minutes.. highly recommend this place.

The lady doing my nails, I didn’t catch her name but I think it was the owner/main lady that works there, was EXTREMELY rude to me and my two friends. She was pretty much making fun of my color choice, and kept asking me “why?” When I told her what I wanted. I told her I had a cut on my finger and that it was hurting and she completely ignored it every single time I said it. She left some of the previous color still on my new nail color. She didn’t care and just wanted to rush me in and out. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a nail salon.

LV Nails is wonderful! Lina, specifically, was absolutely great and very helpful. This was my first time really getting my nails done, and Lina was very kind with explaining the different types of nails (full set, gel, gel dip, etc.). She did a great job on both my fingers and toes. The place itself is nice, too—very clean and everyone was really nice. I cant wait to go back and make this a regular occurrence!

I was really impressed by L V - I used to live in Wrightsville but was just down visiting and had never been before. They were slammed the day of New Years Eve, but it was worth the wait. The Spa is extremely new and clean, the owners/ employees were so friendly, and I got the best massage/ pedicure Ive ever had. Its been a month and the polish is still going strong. I will definitely return on future visits!!

Vinnie and his wife and family are the absolute best! Any question I had about this was resolved when I returned there this past week after visiting another salon. LV is neat, clean, comfortable and consistent!

This place is amazing!!! Vinny, Ginger, Lena and Vinny Jr are highly professional, warm and welcoming. The shop is beutiful and always clean. Complementary water, soda, and juices in the cooler. Beer in the afternoon/evening. You will not find a better place to get your nails done!

The worst experience ever ! Staff was rude. Nails looked awful. I went with two of my friends for prom and now all three of us are at another nail salon trying to fix our nails. I highly recommend not going there.

Best gel set for my thin nails. Always lasts if Ginger does it. Never offered wine, water, etc...usually have to ask for it.

Complimentary juices and sodas but that wont do the job. At the end, the quality of the work and the customer service are the ones that count. My girlfriends and I came in couple weeks ago to get our nails done. The old guy seems nice, he talked a lots about God and his religion but neglect to provide a good service on our nails. If we want someone to preach, we would go to church. Instead of paying attention to work on our nails, he boasted about his ability to connect to God, really? Never come back to this place again.

I am a frequent visitor and before today would only have good things to say. They’ve always done my nails the best until today. The lady helping me seemed so rushed and did my gel polish nails in exactly 20 minutes. You can see on my nails that she didn’t cover the tips with clear coat and there’s a jagged line. Also the color I always get is black, but the clear coat they used over it makes them navy blue in the light. All in all very shocked at the poor quality I received.

I love LV Nails. I have been coming here for awhile. There are a few times where my nails chip within a week, but its rare. My recent gel nails were very well done & have lasted me 3 weeks already. I was so pleased with my lady with how they came out & I will continue to go to LV. Highly recommend!!!

This has been my go to nail spa however Id like to find a nail spa where folks respect others dont have loud conversations and where its a relaxing atmosphere. Also, last time I was there one of the nail techs coughed and sneezed incessantly which was a huge red flag that she was sick. Shocker, now Im sick. Still looking for the right nail spa.

Today was my first day here it was okay I just got dip on my nails the guy doing my nails was on his phone the whole entire time didn’t even say a word to me .. he did a good job but I think it was pricy it was like $55 dollars .. not even acrylic? It was alright but def not the best place either.

Dont buy all the hype about this spot. Yes, the atmosphere is clean and new but the manicure I just got was that of a beauty school or less. No massage, the color and my nails are uneven and I had 2 bleeding cuticles. The lady LAUGHED when I asked her to correct it (after her 20% tip) and told me I didnt need to come back. Trust me... I WONT!!! Disgusting.

Surprised by the good reviews. Had an appointment for 2 people for manicures and pedicures. We each had a young man - mine the son of the older gentleman and lady working there (maybe owners?). Neither of us had a good experience. My mani and pedi took less than 50 minutes combined. Young man seemed more concerned with finishing quickly that doing a good job. Didnt clean under my finger/toe nails and didnt clip hang nails and dead skin. Less than a week later and polish is chipped off of 3 out of 10 fingernails - something that doesnt happen with other manicures. Location is perfect for us but would not return.

The past FOUR times I have been in there is complete chaos and I have been sent to chair with people already sitting in them, and received poor customer service when I ask for clarification. This has resulted in my leaving each time before getting anything done to my nails. The last time I was able to stay long enough to get a service, the gel polish chipped within 24 hours and they were unwilling to fix this for me the next day, which is customary. I will not be back.

Everyone was very nice and professional. Colby did a wonderful job on both my manicure and my pedicure.

Do NOT go here ! It’s like they herd cattle w you! They lady spoke no English and she rubbed up and down in the same spot non stop for the massage and she didn’t even massage my foot then I was handed off to another person to finish. I barely had a pedicure ! Not sure how they have 4 stars!!!!

Good pedicure, guy was very detailed. Shouldnt be an upcharge to remove gel polish though. No drinks were offered.

I wasn’t surprised at all. $30 for gel manicure but with sns removal. She wasn’t gentle at all and no massage and she didn’t check me out but she went up and waited for her tip. She was rushed and I didn’t not like it. No drinks are offered and it’s not worth it. My nails are bad. She left the edges unpainted. I’m highly disatisfied.

Terrible experience. Was told the wait for a gel manicure would be 10 minutes and it was 25. The manicure looked alright when it was finished but no hand massage was given. Within a week the sides of my nail beds were dry and yellow. I’m assuming from dirty tools. And all but two of my polish had been peeled off.

LV is my favorite salon in Wilmington! Vinny Jr. has been my tech for the last 6 months and always takes his time on my nails and they last forever. The salon is very clean, and the staff is friendly. So sad I moved and have to find a new salon, but LV will always be my favorite salon of all time!
