Eric was amazing. He was attentive and super professional. Very easy to talk to, and he did an amazing job. He went above and beyond making it a true treat as I hadn’t been able to do anything with my year for almost two years. It was long overdue, and he was patient and kind through all of it. I bought the products he recommended and I’ve never done that before, but he was really good about explaining why it was beneficial for me. Can’t wait to go back. It’s gorgeous in there too. Abigail was my stylist; and she was so pleasant, and knowledgeable, and asked questions about my routine; to make sure that she gave the best cut and color, and products to address my hair needs and habits. She was thoughtful, and fun to talk to, which made the time go by really quick. I left there feeling pampered and relaxed, with an amazing cut and color. She had some work to do to correct my own coloring mishaps during COVID quarantine; and did a remarkable job. She is a 5 star stylist!!

I had my very first visit today at the Head to Toe Day Spa in Wilmington. I went for a one hour Swedish massage and my massage therapist was Lisa!. Well to make a long story short, Lisa was wonderful! She was polite, caring, knowledgeable and very professional. I had an extremely relaxing massage and would rate it as one of the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a first class massage!

As recently newlyweds (unable to travel for our honeymoon) this was an incredible way to celebrate our marriage! We had deep tissue massages, some time in the sauna and then topped it off with an hour in the hydrotherapy room. It was FABULOUS!! The massage was absolutely killer, the red light therapy/sauna felt wildly good for your skin, and we felt like royalty in the hydrotherapy room. On top of the services, what made our experience that much better was the incredible staff. They each went above and beyond to make us feel special! In fact, I misplaced my wedding band at the end of our visit and the owner came back to the spa to look for it for multiple hours. I was blown away by her dedication and generosity. We will 100% be back!

My husband got me a gift certificate for my birthday and it was money well spent! I had 3 hours one Saturday at Head to Toe Spa and I felt like a princess. First I had a facial, then a manicure and pedicure. The team of women there made my time easy, relaxing and peaceful. No one rushed me through my appointments and that was very different from other places I’ve been. I recommend Head to Toe for a calming spa experience, especially in their beautiful new location. It’s beautiful!

If I could give no stars I would. This was my first time at the salon for color/highlights. The stylist assigned to me apparently had only been at the salon for just a month or so ( I was led to believe she had years of experience). Although she was very nice and friendly she did not know color and how it processes. As the day went on strands of my hair were turning white. By the next morning I looked like Cruella Deville. I went to the salon to have this corrected when it opened the next morning as I was due on a flight for a work event later that morning. Initially they would not take me (they were booked) but agreed to have someone address the issue. The stylist who was assigned to me was clearly annoyed she had to deal with the problem and initially tried to tell me all I had to do was wash it out and it would have been fine. Since I know that is not possible I did insist on something to fix the problem, which was my hair was over processed from the first stylist. In the end, the stylist who was assigned to fix the over processing disputed with me that my hair was over processed, tried to tell me it is common for hair to pull white (no it is not, and I know my own hair, which I have been getting professionally colored for years) and begrudgingly agreed to apply Olaplex, even though I asked for a toner. Knowing I had minimal time, she applied it, said it would sit for 10 minutes and she would be back to rinse. 35 minutes went by before she returned as she took another client (she had told me she would only be a few minutes with that client). I left the salon with a wet messy head (no time to fully dry or style it since I sat waiting for so long); absolutely no apology from the manager, however she did make it a point to let me know that they wouldnt charge me (this time) for the service... Service?? more like a correction to what your stylist did wrong. The entire situation was handled poorly by management and the staff. The original service (with tip!!) was over $200. If I had no clue about color and the chemistry behind it, I would be a little more understanding of the lecture that was pressed on me; however, having a daughter who is an industry award winning colorist with multiple certifications and accolades from actual professional industry agencies (lives 9 hours away or else I would have gone to her), I feel I absolutely do understand that a simple wash out with my own shampoo would not have corrected the over processed hair I ended up with. Weeks later I still have white strands throughout my head, some of which have broken off due to the over processing and frying of my hair.If you are looking for professional service I would suggest looking for a salon with properly trained associates and management with customer service skills. A simple phone call from the original stylist or even an apology from management would have gone a long way. Lesson learned. I absolutely will not return or recommend this salon to anyone.

I had a facial done by Alex and absolutely loved talking with her! My skin can be a bit sensitive but I had zero issues with any of products she used. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back here again when I’m in Wilmington!

This was my first visit. They were very nice at check-in and the coffee/wine bar was a nice surprise. I had left my coffee at home but was able to purchase another coffee right there. They did not take me back on time, however the coffee made up for that. The lady that cut my hair was personable and attentive and did a great job. I would recommend.

I was in town on an emergency basis and in need of a platinum toner and a trim, I called the shop in desperate hopes of getting an appt before my fathers funeral. They had extended hours and got me in that next day! My stylist Ainsley, did a wonderful job and she also offered me a few styling tips for my fine hair. My review is for my nail technician, April Lewis. I’ve been going to her for a few years (mainly Shellac pedicures), and she does a fabulous job. She’s very professional, and is a perfectionist at her work. She also has an easy going personality - will gladly chat, but will also let you sit back and relax if that’s what you need. I highly recommend!

I booked a party for some coworkers and I for deep tissue massages. Britney was my coordinator and she was great to work with! When we arrived, the new spa was beautiful and very welcoming. All the staff was amazing. I had an amazing deep tissue massage with I believe his name was Lawrence. My experience was so wonderful that I plan on going back every couple of months for some good self care! I would recommend this spa to anyone.

I have used Head to Toe for several years and had many different services from eyelash extensions to facials and waxing. The staff is very friendly and always make you feel very welcome. Whitney does the best lash extensions and waxing! I always look forward to going and plan on having many more services done there. I cannot recommend this place strongly enough!!!! It is a very clean, professional, friendly and overall just comfortable salon. I would recommend it for anyone of any age to use this salon!

I went to Head to Toe today for the first time and had an appointment with Eric for highlights and a cut. I have to say, I was probably asking for the almost impossible, and he was wonderful! On time, professional and paid attention to what I asked for and he was very meticulous. Outstanding! He explained all of his techniques and made no promises he couldnt keep. I am super happy with my highlights and cut. I was a little unsure of his suggestion for layers, but he said trust me. Im SO glad I did. He knew what I wanted and knew how to accomplish it. The salon is beautiful, calming and I will definitely go back to see Eric for my hair and maybe even try one of their other many services!

Penelope is a wonderful esthetician. Not only did she give me a great facial but she really educated me on my skin. She was able to pinpoint my areas of concern, and explain why I was having the issues I was having. She showed me new techniques to incorporate into my skin care routine and advised what products would work best for me. And I really saw a difference in my face after she worked her magic. In addition, the new spa location and atmosphere is first class. It is definitely one of Wilmingtons premiere spas.

Both my massage and facial were amazing! I needed some stress relief and I got it. I will say that the new building was beautiful, but the walls seem pretty thin. I could hear talking in the next room, even through the music playing. And I wish the relaxation area was a bit bigger and more secluded. Overall, the services were great though and I would recommend trying it out.

I had a 90-minute massage with Lisa and it was absolutely amazing! Not only was the massage everything I needed and more, the whole experience at Head to Toe was wonderful. The new spa is gorgeous, the staff was welcoming and I felt so relaxed the entire time I was there. I cannot wait to go back and see Lisa, and to try some of the other services that they offer.

Excellent quality service. My manicure and pedicure lasted two weeks (regula polish, not gel or shellac) without chips or peeling. I only removed it because my nails were growing too long after two weeks.

Everyone was very professional, very nice and welcoming. We REALLY enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be going back next time I am in town (which is every few months).

Nothing in Wilmington compares to the new Head to Toe Spa, it is truly perfect! I wish I could have stayed all day. I purchased the profile package with Barbie and it was amazing! I was SO nervous before my first visit and she made it so much fun. Played some music I loved and she got to work. She knew everything I wanted without me even having to say it and she was SO gentle. I truly almost fell asleep as I was receiving the needles. I somehow got very lucky with cancellations and was able to go twice in one week to accomplish what I wanted and each time she was so patient, thorough, and calming. There is a reason she is booked out months in advance. Do not go anywhere else, there is truly no one better! She told me she wasnt perfect, but im convinced she is.

It’s been over two years since I had a hair cut. When I moved from big city to Wilmington, I had a tough time finding a stylist that really understood curly hair. I had bad experiences, which led me to not go to any salons. Finally I decided that I need to do some research and find a hair dresser that can cut my curls. That’s when I found Ricky. I was referred here by a friend and became a repeat customer because I had such a good experience. April is so sweet and I love getting the dip dye, my nails have never looked so pretty! I could never have painted nails for work but the dip really holds up so now I can! They have a great referral program and the atmosphere is nice, would absolutely recommend.

I called to make an appointment and the first person I spoke to said she would call me back which is fine but then I called back because I never had a call back And was trying to explain the situation. the person I spoke too acted like she was in a rush and didnt want to hear what I had to say at all. She then went on to tell me to make sure im booking more then a week out. Her rushed attitude and dismissiveness makes me feel unsure if I want to use this business. I was so excited because of all the good reviews. I guess Ill have to look somewhere else.

He took the time to explain every step and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Ricky taught me not only how to do my hair but how to truly love it again. Denise - at Head to Toe is amazing! I have been going to her as my stylist since 2015. Her ability to find the right style, color and pull it altogether is wonderful. When I travel and visit other salons, some are good, some not so much but none is as talented as Denise A. Now I live 70 miles away...well, I tried another stylist and but decided I had to take the time and return to Head to Toe and my Denise.The manicures and pedicures are exceptional and I try to schedule those at the same time. Relaxing, professional and friendly...a really pleasant experience too.
