Recently moved from out of state and found this nail salon on google as having the best reviews. I was thoroughly satisfied with my nail tech and her skills. I was greeted upon entering the salon and found that the employees were all friendly and professional. Will be going back for my fills and other nail needs. Jenny did an amazing job! Thank you.

Came in for a gel pedicure and fill in with gel polish. Pedicure my toe nails weren’t cleaned all the way the dead skin was not removed on the sides of my feet. Fill in I had a nail that needed to be fixed and I asked for her to fix it I received an instant attitude and then another lady came over to fix it. When the gel was put on my nails no base coat was used and now they are peeling I got these done yesterday. Also I was nicked with the file on my cuticle. I usually would go back but I am so frustrated with my visit from yesterday I don’t want to waste my time.

I have never been to any nail shop where they had nail techs so talented. They literally can do anything you want and it looks flawless every time. Sometimes its a little bit of a way because theyre very busy because they are so good everyone wants to go there. But its worth the wait

Everyone does a great job at Nail World! Always friendly! Been coming here through all the different owners and I’m very pleased with the current people that work here. There is a very large selection of colors whether it’s regular polish or powder. They take their time and do a great job.

Called ahead, was told there would be a thirty minute wait…arrived, confusing process for first timer but washed hands, checked in on kiosk and twenty minutes into that half hour wait a walk-in customer was taken ahead of me! Not cool. Won’t be back.

My nail still look brand new when they are over two weeks old. The owner and his wife are so sweet and funny in the vibe is the absolute best and the best nail techs that I found so far in my life.

Dollar Bill and Amy greeted us. We had appointments. The nail salon was beautiful with high sanitation in effect. In times like this it is so important. We (my daughter and I) had a fabulous time. We both had a powder manicure and gel pedicure. Trust me treat yourself. You will enjoy it. Please come and experience first class service with nail technicians who are beyond experienced and will exceed your expectations.

Usually my family and I have great experiences here with dollar bill and his wife. But this experience was the worst. I went in for a fill in and to repair my nails. One nail was fixed and the other left just how it was when I walked in. Thumb nail was cracked and he didnt put any acrylic over it to fix the crack. Went back the next day to show him to get it fixed. Had to wait over 25 minutes and no service. Not only that, it was a rush job, because it was very busy. But I still had to pay for it and still patiently waited my turn. Very disappointed because I like going to them but this visit was horrible.

I started going to Nail World a couple of years ago. T and Helen were awesome and did great work. It was recently sold and it is definitely not the same! I’ve tried it with the new owners twice and both times were a disappointment. My nails looked bad and started popping up. Never again; I’m done.

They were more concerned about getting my money than doing a good job on my feet, unless of course I said yes to getting a manicure but when I said no thanks she hurriedly half finished my feet do she could move on to another person. Wont be going back.....

Ive been going there 2 years.

So I had a nail emergency and couldnt make it to my regular Salon in Sneads Ferry they saw me less than an hour before closing and gave me one of the best of the nails Ive ever had!!

My first impression upon walking in was that it looked clean, well kept, & modern. I was greeted by more than one person, everyone was friendly, and to top it off... THEY DID A GREAT JOB! I had a manicure & pedicure & I will definitely be back! Not one complaint. And Tammy who did my manicure was extremely professional, friendly & skilled!

I absolutely love this place they do an amazing job every time and are so friendly!! Love the owners. The shop is clean and the prices are affordable! Highly recommend

Ive been coming to the salon for about 10 yrs.***NAIL WORLD***is the only nail salon Ive ever been to in Wilmington & the only salon Ill go to. They do an AWESOME job!!! Ive NEVER had a problem with my nails chipping or breaking. And Ive gone 3 weeks between fill-ins a few times, & still had no problems. Ive got acrylic over my natural nails. They let me know ahead of time if Im going to have to have my acrylic changed next visit, that way Ill know my next visit will cost more. I look forward to seeing Tony & our conversations! I have nothing but great things to say about Tony, Nancy & their crew!!!😎😀😎😀😎

My friend and I live and work close to nail-world and figured wed give it a try and utilize the 15% off for the grand opening. I made an appointment for a full in and a pedicure. Tony started on my fill in right away however my friend had to wait for someone to begin her pedicure even though we made an appointment. The prices are a little higher than normal. I pd $22 for a full in with 15% off!! She pd $35 for a basis pedicure with 15% off! Well half way through my nails Im told I have to purchase my own file and smoother thingy and I have to bring it back each time and if I forget it Id have to purchase another one. Id never had to do this in the 15+ yrs Ive been getting my nails done. I was treated like I didnt have a clue about anything nails. Tony was nice and did good on my nails but I dont think Ill be going back. Ill stick to my nail salon. Was not the experience I imagined.

They always do an outstanding job and Ive really never had a mistake on a single nail. They offer discounts for returning customers too. Omg!!!! My hubby and I are from NJ. We tried this nail salon and I am so impressed with Tony and Nancy. He did a fabulous job on both our nails. They have an A rating-99% from health inspection. Their customer service was outstanding. Tony is full of wisdom and knowledge about life. While doing my nails he discussed many things with wisdom. I felt like it was more than getting my nails done. Exceptional service here, they did my ombre gel nails and pedicure for my vacation. And I came back on my birthday for a pedicure. I also recommend eyebrow waxing. If youre looking for a good place that has experience but not extremely pricey I highly recommend. If you have any problems they will fix it. Ive moved to porters neck but I will contiune to use Nails World.

I had a great experience at Nail World! They gave me my own personal buffer and nail filer so that they can use it every time I come in. This cuts on bacteria and I love this idea!!! They are extremely pleasant and do a great job. Tony, the owner knows me by name. My friend and I have made this our regular fill in spot.

They did such a wonderful job with my nails and made my hands look fabulous/ my feet feel so good after I leave this wonderful place. Nancy and Tony do such a wonderful job you have got to come here it is worth every minute. They even pamper you and make you feel like a wonderful human being.

Came here because it was close to my house but Im glad I did. Tony and Tammy are so very friendly and welcoming. I hate nail salons where the workers dont talk to you. I loved my nails, they turned out gorgeous!! I will continue to come for future nail appointments!

I am really picky about my nails and cosmetic stuff so when I heard about Nail World I was very excited because I had heard wonderful things about it! I called ahead so theyd know to expect me and his wife even called back to make sure I was still on the way which I thought was very kind of her! Tony was the tech who did my set and polish and really took his time and made sure they were perfect! This is by far my favorite nail salon in Wilmington and I am officially a regular at this shop!

I wanted to try it because its convenient to where I live and work so my friend and I made appointments for 11. There wasnt really a point because, while we were greeted as if expected at 11, I waited 25 minutes until someone was available. I am pleased with the results by Henry but believe that if youre going to up charge for using the razor, that extra price should be explained first so it doesnt look greedy. Also, charging the customer for the equipment used (nail file and buffer) and not explaining that up front either seems scammy. Again, give me the option to recycle and all is good but in reality charging me for what you have to buy anyway only benefits the establishment, not me. In any way. The concept is interesting but only when I have been given informed consent. It was a wasted $2 though because I wont be going back even though it is very conveniently located. I was also disappointed that for what I pay $25 for anywhere else I have been is actually $30 here. Sugar scrub, lotion and a hot towel are basic pedicure options in my book.

I love Nail World they are the best....They may be busy at times but they take really good care of their customers and always make you feel friendly and at home...Tammy and Tony are the best and have added to their crew with a few extra helping hands...they have a spa and offer full services to fit your needs...I get my eyebrows waxed, manicure and pedicure awesome job...definitely going back not going anywhere else!!

T and his wife Helen are very personal and do amazing job whether its doing your nails or getting waxed they also do a awesome pedicure and the price is always the same I highly recommend it.

This is a clean and professional salon. This salon has been in the same location for years and has stood the test of time. Many many colors and product types to choose from. I like a natural look and they accommodated me. Theyre affordable too. Im fussy and theyve impressed me enough that Im a regular customer.
