I used to visit this place when it was Clifton Park. My parents had friends there and I was friends with their offspring. I now live in a sister property, Melrose Place; Im considering Paladin when my lease expires in about two years. Ive been in Melrose for 10 years; they have made the place a pleasant community now and is on one of the better corners.

Amongst everything else Pettinero seems to be making better, their older properties like Village Park at Palladin or Palladin Club with amenities is anything but an amenity. Just because you advertise you have these things doesnt mean you care. Youre forced to pay a $100+ fee when you move in before you even touch a tennis court or the club house fitness center or basketball court. They clearly dont care about keeping tenants- young, old or in between who care to stay in shape. With duck taped seats on 15-20 year old gym equipment, a game room were the air hockey table doesnt work to the visibly unkept tennis courts outside- you can clearly see where Pettinero is putting their focus. After two years of asking, begging for updated/safer equipment in the fitness center & a cleaned up fixed tennis court....you can see how they feel about their tenants. We wont be tenants much longer if this doesnt change and soon. Gyms have updated equipment over the years for many reasons, older equipment just isnt as safe or efficient as the new ones. You own more property in Delaware & Pennsylvania than any other developing business so dont act like you dont have a few extra thousand to update things. And no after 8 months of walking on to a wet basketball court from a leaking old roof you finally fixed, that doesnt count.Update this club house and the tennis courts. We live here-for now, so show us you want us to stay.

Im not sure where some of these comments come from - I have NEVER heard anyone either from next door or upstairs. I find these apartment units to be roomy, comfortable and quiet. I have dealt with both Tom and David in the office and neither has ever been rude - I find them to be responsive. Maintenance responds to work requests and work is done well. I did have an issue with trash removal but that has been addressed. I very much like living here. I find neighbors to be very friendly.

Poorly build apartments, and terrible management and maintenance team. We will not be returning/renewing our lease at the end of its term. For $1,500 a month it is not worth the money. Will be looking into other options in the future. Save yourself the headache!Old Update: Tom is very rude and disrespectful property manager. I have already filed a formal complaint about him with the cooperate office. If you need to contact someone at the leasing office ask for David!New Update: Since my previous post, my husband and I had experienced a very traumatic situation while living at this apartment complex. As a result, we needed to break our lease early and move elsewhere. During the time of the incident, we did receive a lot of support from both Tom and David when trying to figure out each step moving forward. I remember speaking with Tom almost every day, and how much he tried to make the situation better. Therefore, I would like to amend my post from a 1 star to a 3 star to reflect that the office management team has the ability to be professional, and shows major growth in at the area. That said, I still stand by my previous position that the apartments has maintenance and other structural related issues that should not be present when renting a property at this price. The walls are paper thin which either makes people file a complaint, or receive a complaint (which sucks). Also, things don’t seem to ever to be fixed properly, just temporarily... However, to make this review unbiased, I will say that some positive aspects include, friendly neighbors and community, quiet and safe environment (especially when living so close to the city), dog friendly, and the apartments are very spacious inside.I truly hope this review helps you make a wise decision when making a decision on where to live in the future.

VERY DIRTY!Poor management and rude from leasing office to corporate. Tom can be very rude and unprofessional sometimes he doesn’t know how to talk to people at all.Gym equipment are very old if your just getting into fitness DO NOT use those equipment you will hurt yourself. The apartments walls are very thin you can hear everything from people making love...even if someone is sneezing. The swimming pool is very dirty and too much shade you can’t even enjoy the sun 3pm forget about jumping into the water. They take too long if you put work order in you have to call them back again again. It’s not worth all the money they are charging tenants.

These apartments are really beautiful and the staff in the leasing office were great. David and Tom were very helpful and patient when working with me. They apartments are new and includes a lot for the price. You get a fireplace, patio, deck, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for areal reasonable price. Although, I ended up not moving into these apartments due to job reasons, I would highly recommend these apartments. They are the best in the area.

The apartments look great on the outside but are poorly built. Cheap carpet, squeaky floors, thin walls. You can hear everything! Kids crying, dogs barking all night long, even neighbors snoring and sneezing next door.

The rent here is ~$1400 but they still let wilmington low life live here. 95% of the neighbors are awesome but if u luck out man, the leasing office doesnt really help u out. Noise complaints, people slamming doors, even numerous visits from the police wont get a crappy neighbor removed. I would highly recommend u ask the neighboring apartments how ur neighbors may be. The apartments are very nice, neighborhood is wonderful, but people think they can blare their bass or scream at each other and their neighbors wont hear it. Take my advise and take a pass, their is ghetto trash here.
