I love my new apartment. So far my experience all together has been great. The Avalon consultants are being so helpful and informative with the move-in process. My apartment was so clean when I moved in. The hallways are immaculate as well as the outdoor areas. I cant wait to jump into that crystal clear pool after work.

Avalon Wilmington was one of my options for a new apartment, I ended up choosing a different location but the customer service during my tour was amazing! Paul was very helpful, friend,y, and followed up days after my tour. Even though I didn’t choose Avalon Wilmington as my new home just by my experience of visiting the property I would recommend it to friends and family.

Very beautiful apartments, well maintenance and landscape!

Ive been a resident of Avalon Oaks West for a little over a year. Great property, professionally managed by an awesome office team, and the grounds are maintained very well. Recently I put in a request for some bathroom repairs and the service professional Mike Pratt did an amazing job! Very detailed and thorough, Mike did a great job...BRAVO to Mike!

We spent a couple of years at Avalon Dr and we liked it a lot. From the start while we were looking for options, Debbie was great at showing us different options and helping us find the best option at the best price. The location is very convenient because is right off the exit on I-93 so driving to Boston or up the New Hampshire is very easy. The property keeps the landscaping looking great year round and the maintenance team quickly gets to any issue you might have. The Avalonaccess website makes it a breeze not only to make your rent payments but also to submit maintenance request. The units are being upgraded so depending on which one you select you can get a very nice unit. Overall if you are looking for an apartment option in the Wilmington or North Reading area, I highly recommend that you give Avalon Oaks a visit.

I liked my experience from scheduling a tour to move in and I now enjoy the place. The apartment I was to tour was taken before I went there but Debbie suggested to me another one which is so privately located and nice. She was in touch all the time from our application to move in. I would feel guilty if we hadn’t taken the apartment for whatever reason because of the way we were treated. The move in surprise gifts were a plus, maintenance is another plus.

I absolutely cannot stop raving about Avalon Oaks!! Debbie was amazing at helping me with questions, the leasing, and the move in process. The apartment itself is absolutely stunning!! Fernando and Mike have been by to tend to a few move-in maintenance issues; these guys are fantastic!! The complex itself is beautifully landscaped and tended to, the residents are the kindest people Ive met in years! I am so incredibly thrilled to be living here!!

My sister and I went looking for apartments after the last one ended up falling through due to lack of communication on the leasing staff. We went apartment searching and Avalon Oaks was number 1 on my list! When we first got in, we met with Debbie and just based on conversation, her knowledge of Avalon Oaks, her patience and being so personable, we would have leased right then and there! It was a bit farther from our jobs then we wanted so we ended up not being a part of Avalon Oaks but the place is GORGEOUS! It’s quiet, the grounds are maintained well, and it is spacious and so full of light because of all the windows. If you are looking for an apartment stop your search right now, and come by Avalon Oaks! (Ask for Debbie!! She made our experience amazing!!)

I rented an apartment at Avalon for 18 months and was very happy during my stay. The office staff were always very helpful and the maintenance staff immediately took care of any issues. The location is convenient to I-93 and the town of Wilmington has much to offer. Very glad I picked Avalon!

Maintenance is absolutely phenomenal! I give maintenance 10/10!!! They are always there when you need them and go above and beyond for residents. If you put in a work order they usually respond the same day and fix whatever is wrong. They all have been working here for many many years and know what they are doing. They are friendly, polite and respectful. I haven’t had one issue with maintenance. The people in the office are pretty good as well. They do get back to you in a timely manner and are professional. I would have given them 5 stars but there has been some false accusations that upset me. I was able to talk to the office manager and I think we have resolved the issue. I hope so at least. But I just don’t like being accused of things I do not do which is why I didn’t give them 5 stars. But other then that one hiccup I have really enjoyed living here. I’ve been here for 3 years already and plan to renew my lease in July. Overall though I have had a pretty good experience living here and I’m sure you will too if you plan on moving here. They also really do take care of the property as well. Even though I shorted them one star I still believe this is a great place to live. Thanks!

We moved in August 2020. Since we moved here, I have really enjoy living here with my family. The management team is really professional and always on top of every need we had. Also, I really like the service that Fernando and Mike provide around the community, specially Fernando always happy to help the residents and very polite. The apartment is nice and the community well maintained. I am so glad that we decided to move here in the middle of a international pandemic. Looking forward for more community events when the time is appropriate to know my neighbors!

I highly recommend. I am really loving Avalon Oaks West. The location is super convenient. The community of residents is welcoming. The wooded property is always tidy and well-kept. The buildings are quiet, day or night. The staff is fabulous. I have not experienced many issues at all, but when I do, the property team is always professional and responds quickly – usually within one day or less. This is an amazing place to live, great for families.

I was hesitant after reading some reviews but trust me the place is great. Debbie Scott is the best...she made everything from my first tour to signing the lease as easy and smooth as possible. She even checked in on me a couple of months after I moved in. The place is clean and quiet. The maintenance is top notch. I lost AC one day in the summer and they were out to fix it the same night. Ive had zero complaints. The location is super convenient and the prices are relatively low for what you get. Choose building 4100 or 4200 if you have a choice...newest buildings.

A great place to live if you’re looking to be close to the city but far enough to get some peace and quiet!Debbie was great and made the move-in smooth and easy. We are able to reach out to her with any needs or concerns we may have about the apartment or complex. Avalon Oaks is the my first home in US, they have one professional service team, they responded quickly for all my requests. The maintenance team is so great one, they always help me out of the mess. I’m really happy living this community.

I am a handicapped tenant and Avalon is a a great place to be. Whenever I call or submit a request for maintenance they are usually here In less then 24 hours to fix the problem. They are pleasant to deal with and always clean up after themselves. The ladies in the front office are pleasant and very helpful. I highly recommend Avalon West as a place to call home.

Stayed here for almost one year and would recommend. Building is not new, but decent sound proofing and very responsive management. I needed maintenance only twice, but service was prompt and staff very nice. Kitchen was all new and lots of space. Had a loft that was large. Location is convenient and quiet.

A beautiful and bright space with amazing staff. Debbie is absolutely amazing and has made my move-in experience so positive. I have nothing but kind words to say about all the help and kindness Ive received here. Everything is super conveniently placed and the facilities are wonderful as well. You get everything and more that you pay for!

We’ve lived at Avalon oaks for over two years now. It has been such a wonderful experience- it is a clean, quiet, beautiful area- perfect for a family. The leasing team is wonderful and always answers questions promptly and politely. Every time I’ve had any issues, the maintenance team has been on top of their game. Over priced for the apartment. While moving out we got screwed for cleaning fees even though we paid for people to come professionally clean through Avalon, they still charged us over $700. Horrible company.

The heating system was out and some light bulbs were also out (minor issues), so I called Avalon maintenance. Someone came within two hours, and solved the problems. (And on the day of Thanksgiving, too.) Very impressive speed. Great service!

When we moved in at the end of July we identified a few small maintenance issues that we asked to be repaired. Since we moved to the area from another state, we had to quarantine for a few weeks and Paul in the office said the items would be completed once quarantine was finished. He evidently marked his calendar because he reached out to me on the day we ended quarantine and scheduled Fernando to come the next day to begin to take care of the small issues. Fernando did the work with professionalism and care. He even cleaned up after himself! That is impressive in my book. Fernando is gracious, friendly, competent and completes the work with care and accuracy. I am very impressed so far.

Even though I didn’t end up singing here due to sudden work relocation, Avalon Oaks looks amazing. Paul and the team we’re friendly and the two remodeled units I toured looked great! The community is located right off the highway which makes getting into the city much easier. I would absolutely recommend checking out Avalon Oaks.

Debbie is excellent and very nice to us. We have been here for 6 years and enjoy staying at this quiet apartment complex. The location is great and very close to I-93. It has a great swimming pool and Gym and a nice playground for the kid. The maintenance staff is also very responsive to fix everything next day.

Just had Fernando come to my apartment and fix an issue with the faucet in my kitchen. After a few minutes, he knew that it needed to be replaced and so he replaced it. No fuss! He was polite, quick, and super friendly. I love the office staff and management at Avalon. Ive never had an issue with the response time.

Amazing service. The buildings and amenities are in great shape. Lots of apartments with Stainless Steel appliances. Loft apartments are very reasonable. I very much enjoyed my tour there. Its very clean and the management staff is on top of things. I have a friend that lives there and he loves it.

Weve had several nice property upgrades - especially the new tile and carpet for the building entryways, stairwells and mailbox areas. I also appreciated the new fitness center equipment. I really do enjoy living here at Avalon Oaks (West Campus). This is my first experience living on my own and it truly did exceed my expectations. My boyfriend does not like the apartment complex living, but for what it is, this place is not bad at all. The walls are pretty sound proof between apartments, people are respectful, and maintenance is absolutely amazing. That is the best part about this place along with snow removal. The worst part is the rent, I would probably stay another year if it were cheaper. We are in our second lease and we know we cannot afford to stay for a third year. There was a big jump from our first year’s rent to the next year and I can’t imagine paying anything more. Yes, it is competitive with other complexes that offer similar amenities, but we just can’t afford it. The other thing is section 8 housing. The people are relatively respectful, but it is obvious as to who is here for a cheaper rent. Overall, I think the place is great.

I love the loft style apartment complete with gas fireplace. The combination of flooring and carpet are a perfect match for my lifestyle. The location here at Avalon Oaks West couldnt be more perfect. We are minutes away from schools, shopping, and kid friendly entertainment. The community has one trash location that offers normal rubbish disposal as well as recycling AND they have a donation box right in the community as well!

Avalon Oaks West is great apartment community. Service requests are always tended to very quickly. They take exceptional care of their grounds and apartments.

I love it here!! My unit is spacious with 2 large bedrooms .. 2 full baths and a huge Loft too! The convenience of being right off 93 makes this a commuters dream. The facility is always clean and nicely accommodated with a large pool, work-out room and club house too. The office staff is always friendly and professional .. And the maintenance team is very very thorough. All in All a great place to call home.

I just want to say thank you to all the maintenance guys, especially Mike P., Mark V., and Fernando. My father is disabled and has been living here for a bit over a year. The maintenance staff always goes above and beyond to help my father out. They are quick to respond to your requests, always polite and get the job done. Thank you.

Just recently was re-located up to MA and decided on Avalon Oaks West, and VERY happy that we did! The salt water pool is great, team has been very accommodating (Debbie at the leasing office has been excellent!) apartments are very well kept, and the dog areas are very consistently clean and taken care of. With two dogs, it’s so easy to take them out with multiple pet stations and supplied bags on site. Overall, great experience so far, would definitely recommend.

We lived in Avalon Oaks at Wilmington for about 1 and a half years and it was a great experience. The rental office staff is very friendly, helpful and courteous. The same is true about the maintenance team. The apartments are well made and well maintained and conveniently located. You would be on I-93 in 2 minutes (in 1 min, if you do not count the time it takes to come out of the complex).Circumstances made us leave before our lease expired, but the Customer Service Supervisor discussed with us all our options patiently, and even advised us. I read that some people have complained about not getting the deposit back. We do not know in what type of condition they left the apartment in, but according to our experience, if you maintain the apartment with a decent amount of care, you would not be charged anything. Quite on the contrary, the Maintenance Supervisor and CS Supervisor thanked us for keeping the apartment in good condition. If you worry about noise, our neighbor confessed that they had the TV on high volume, but we never heard it even slightly.This place has great amenities as well; swimming pool, club house, gym and recently added outdoor grille. There is enough parking, so even your guests would not have a problem finding a parking spot.All in all, Avalon Oaks is a great place to live. Thanks, Avalon!

Office Staff:I had always had a bad taste in my mouth for big complex living. I have now lived at 2 Avalon properties (Bear Hill and Oaks) and it has very much changed my view on this.Transferring from Bear Hill to Oaks was very easy and seamless (and cost effective vs going to a new management company). The staff at Oaks has been very accommodating and a pleasure to work with both professionally and personally. Debbie and Vaso continued to amaze me with their dedication to help. We moved out of Oaks a month ago and Vaso took time to comb through my past statements and ensured all charges and credits were correct and properly explained each one.Apartment:I can only speak to the newer (4000 building) apartments but our unit was modest but very clean. We loved the open living space and all the windows letting in natural light. Gas appliances were a big plus for me too. Any maintenance issues were dealt with quickly and professionally.Complex:Well cared for grounds. Pool can get crowded with school aged kids, but never overly crazy (maybe a little for the holidays).Snow is removed quickly in the winters.All in all we enjoyed our time at Avalon Oaks and I would certainly recommend it.

All the visits Ive had while living here in Avalon Oaks have mentioned how nice, clean and quiet this community looks and I agree. Living here has been a very positive experience. The office and maintenance staff are very friendly and helpful and they are always willing to help with any need or request. Price-wise is competitive with the rest of the communities I checked before moving here and I dont regret about my decision. Facilities are great and well-kept and the staff keeps us communicated of any work or repair that is going to happen in the overall community.

We absolutely love living here! Everyone in the office is so nice and responsive with anything we ever need. They go out of their way to make sure you have anything you need. The maintenance guys, the two Mikes and Mark are just awesome! We can’t say enough amazing things about them. They are so friendly and easy to work with. They always keep you in the loop with any work that needs to be done with your apartment. Our heat broke over Xmas and they were here on Xmas eve, Xmas and the rest of the week just to do everything they could to make sure we would get our heat back ASAP. Mike even came to check in on us on his way home to make sure we were warm enough and to see if he could get us anything. They really go above and beyond! We would HIGHLY recommend living here!!

We moved to Avalon as an interim before finding our forever home. We have enjoyed our time here. The staff in the office are so very helpful. Maintenance always comes within hours of our requests if it is during the week. The landscape is so beautiful and always kept up nicely.

I just recently moved out of Avalon Oaks in Wilmington. It was a great experience living there, starting from first moving in as Debbie Scott and the team were very flexible as we had to switch from a one bedroom to a two bedroom (with a loft) apartment on short notice. She also e-mailed us from time to time to see how things were going. Our maintenance requests were responded to promptly, and they offer a clean sweep, option after you leave so all you have to do after you move out is just make sure youre not leaving behind any trash. I will miss living there.

Great community to live in, Pets are allowed, its clean and the apartments are quite, you dont hear hardly any noise from your neighbors. The maintenance staff always fixes things asap. Love the community we have since upgrade to a loft apt. its beautiful.UPDATE: Love the New Playground for the Kids. We really needed an updated one. Thanks! Love the way the hallways are looking now with the new paint and carpet. :)

We’ve lived at Avalon Oaks & Oaks West for over 18 years - the last 16 years have been in the Oaks West community. It’s been a great community to live in; however, with pros there are some cons.Pros:The staff is amazing & very responsive. Our water heater broke on a Sunday, they came out within the hour and had it replaced by the afternoon. Any maintenance issues are promptly addressed. The leasing staff are friendly and quick to respond to requests as well.Location is nice, being close to the interstate and 2 commuter options has been a huge benefit. It’s also nice that the complex tucked back from a the main road. The landscapers do an amazing job all year around. The always spruce it up nicely after the winter and during the winter the snow removal is wonderful.The gym has decent equipment & is never full. It can sometimes be a bit dusty though. The heating system can be a bit wacky too but they are making efforts to correct that.The smell of smoke was always a big issue for us; however, they have been transitioning to a smoke free community!Cons:Cost is a little crazy for the apartment, there are complexes within 2-5 miles that are newer with nicer appliances & more or the same amenities for about the same price.Noise is a big issue, the walls/ceilings/floors are thin. We can hear neighbors above us using the restroom & having intimate moments. Residents are very loud going up/down the stairs as well, like bricks on their feet - our bedroom shares a wall with the hall/stairwell. There must be copper piping, in the morning we hear a loud knocking sound in the walls when neighbors are using water in the kitchen - our bedroom shares a wall with the kitchen.Appliances are old and the laminate on the cabinet doors peel off - rather than replacing them they will paint them so while still white the texture is rough and once the paint starts to fade they always appear dirty. The windows are warped making it impossible to open them all the way.FLIES! Our apartment is close to the dumpster & dog poop can. It’s impossible to enjoy sitting on the balcony in the summer/fall without a fly swatter. They actually line the exterior windows and walls of the building, it’s gross.

Just recently moved at Avalon Oaks and its great. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. Debbie made the moving process very easy and she is very knowledgeable of the surrounding area, which really helped since I am new to the area. Highly recommend this place, it is very clean, the apartments are spacious and great amenities.

This place is amazing. Staff are very helpful and quick to respond. Grounds are clean and well kept. It is a really nice place for my daughter and I to stay because it is geared towards families. Has a pool, little kids area, nice outdoor pick nick areas and even a site for grilling, which you do have to share but what is a better way to get to know your neighbors? I do like the idea that a place such as the Avalon doesnt discriminate towards families with hardship. They have a affordable waitlist for families that qualify, so yes you do get some families that are on section 8 but the Avalon does credit checks and gets a background on all of its residents before allowing anyone to live in there community. Only because youre on section 8 doesnt make you less of a qualified resident to live in such a community, it just means the Avalon is understanding and compassionate, and why would you want to rent to anyone who was any different? I give them a thumbs up for everything theyve helped me with and for making it a quick and easy process for this big transition in my daughters and my life. Thank you.

Ample parking and a responsive office and maintenance staff. If youre looking for a straight forward apartment living, this is it! Also has the convenience of being close to I-93.

Avalon Oaks West is located in a quiet wooded atmosphere and the interior layout is cozy and nice quality. It is also in a great location. It is close to the city and NH, while also being settled around quiet quaint towns like Andover and Reading. The maintance team is prompt and helpful, as is the leasing office. Our stay here for the past few years has been a wonderful place to call home. Avalon is a reputible apartment community that truly takes care of their homes and their tennants.

Apartment was beautifully updated. The office is very responsive and nice, especially Debbie who helped make the move in painless.

So awesome had issue at the end of the day with heat the day before snow storm.Fernando came out and was able to diagnose and replace a part and fixed the issue .Very greatful I have 2 kids one special needs wouldn’t have been good to have problem with the heat.Any time I e had issues very quick to respond .Thumbs up to all the office and maintenance people.

If you have a dog shell ask if she can give him/her a treat. We had a problem with one of our showers. In the almost 3 years we have lived here, we have never dealt with a more efficient, friendly but professional maintenance team before. I sent the request and before a few hours had gone by they were at our door. I have lived all over the US - renting apartments, condos and townhomes. Several locations I have truly enjoyed - Avalon Oaks West is one of the few! Comfortable, spacious and great location make it very special; maintenance is the best I have ever experienced. They work so hard to be the best (and most responsive). The front office folks are terrific as well. They want the community spirit to encompass the entire complex and continuously knock themselves out with helping hands, events and just friendly smiles. I always look for a community ambience and I certainly have found it here. The front office, the maintenance folks and my neighbors all contribute to this atmosphere.ADDITION: I am adding this ADDITION one year later. I have transferred back to Atlanta and after 8 years at Avalon Oaks West, I had to break my new lease for the 2018-2019. Job transfer can be difficult and stressful, but I have to say Debbie Scott (in the leasing office) made my transition easy and very stress-free. She walked me thru the entire process - making everything so very easy! I enjoyed working with Debbie and it was truly stress-free! She is terrific to work with and very professional. I will miss my home at Avalon Oaks West and I cant recommend it enough .Contact Debbie - she is there to help and totally professional!

We lived at Avalon Oaks for almost two years and could not have been happier! The community is beautiful, peaceful and meticulously maintained at all times. Debbie Scott, our Community Consultant, was amazing to work with. She was always incredibly responsive, kind, professional and came to feel like a dear friend over the time we lived there. I would highly recommend both Debbie and the community to anyone looking to rent in the Wilminton/Andover area. You will love it!

I am in my second year at Oaks West and I have really enjoyed my stay so far. I find the location convenient with easy access to 93. Maintenance is quick to respond. I personally do not use the amenities but the pool looks nice and there is a cardio room onsite. I have a two bedroom with a loft and I think the value is excellent compared to other towns that are slightly closer to Boston. I would highly recommend this property.

Fast, professional and friendly maintenance on a toilet!Woke up this morning to find no heat in our apartment. Made the calls, and the speedy response was just tremendous. Local maintenance guy showed up right away, called a plumper, who also came in a flash. He had to reinstall piping because new hot water heater was different from the old..did it all. Local maintenance guy then came back later to make sure everything was working OK. Oh, and he brought a couple of space heaters to use while repairs were ongoing. Such professionalism and care on this cold, snowy day!Jack

Great apartment for a great price. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the location is very convenient to 93.

I had a recurring issue with a facet that was leaking. The first time maintenance came they thought they fixed it. But it still leaked. The second time they came, they didnt know why it was still not working properly. So they replaced the whole facet on the idea that my old one was malfunctioning internally. Thankfully, I havent had any issues since! I really appreciate the quick response I get (less than a day, often just a few hours) and the dedication to actually fixing the problem. Its nice to put in a request, go to work the next day and come home to the problem being fixed.

I lived at Avalon Oaks for 2 years and I must say, out of the 5 other apartment communities Ive lived in across the US over the years, this has definitely been the best. The leasing office staff is amazing (particularly Debbie and Josh, who were always friendly and great to chat with). They always made sure to take care of any problems I had (as few as there were) as quickly as possible and I always knew things would be fixed with them overseeing things.There were a few problems over the years (broken washing machine, broken toilet flush, etc). These things happen anywhere, but fortunately the maintenance team fixed everything, usually the same day and usually within a matter of hours. Never had this level of fast service anywhere.I never had an issue with theft, break-ins, vandalism, or anything else while living here. As a small, isolated apartment community, crime is not a cause for concern here. Community has an eclectic mix of occupants- some older, retired couples, some mid-level professionals just starting their families, with a sprinkling of everyone else. For the most part, everyone keeps to themselves, but the opportunities to socialize are there if you want.As for the apartment itself, I loved it. Carpets were brand new when I moved in and the appliances, cabinets, and fixtures were all spotless. Central air, in-suite washer/dryer, and gas fireplace were my top 3 amenities. AC was a savior in the sweltering heat of one summer. I liked the location as it was a 20 min drive for me to all my key points: New Hampshire for tax-free shopping, downtown Boston for nightlife and restaurants, and my daily commute for work. However, within Wilmington, there was little else to do in my opinion.I will admit, the rent is expensive in my opinion, however, I think it was money well spent. I had the assurance that any problems were taken care of fast and I was happy to go home everyday. Youll love living here!

Moved in to the apartment and within a couple of days they fixed or replaced all my maintenance needs!! Everyone is friendly and accommadating.

I put in a maintenance request late on Saturday to have my air filter replaced. Not expecting anything until Monday (wasnt an emergency) and on Sunday they came and replaced my filter!!!! Thank you!!!!!

Not to overdo this, but I see the original letter of 7/13was lost in the posting (followed below) of earlier today. The original letter is re-typed after that... I hope sincerely that this can be a helpful motivation for all concerned with safety, comfort, and the otherwise nice facility that is Avalon Oaks, and which, as an older property, needs to catch up to other Avalon Communties that are already Non-Smoking. Dangerous as it is, while it may be a smokers right to smoke, but it is NOT their right to have their smoke invade the homes of their neighbors ... The letters follow:Just read the office reply to my earlier post of 7/14.. And now well see what happens. Its only too bad that such public discussion has become necessaary. Earlier efforts were just getting nowhere, and were met, as I wrote, with long delays, a certain amount of indignent Attitude, with no results to alleviate the problem of smoking, even months later. Suggesting we go to the expense and considerable effort of leaving an otherwise nice apartment that weve mainatined beautifully all this time is NO solution, and certainly the wrong thing to say to any one with stubborn Scottish heritage...!Earlier messageof 7/13Weve lived here for over 15 years, and for the most prat, its been very nice. Intiallly, the proerty looked special, like the publicity photos do (!!) and for sure the Maintenance staff has done their best and are a crew of nice guys. However.....The ad that proudly posts Some smoke-free aparatments available... doesnt tell the whole story. And its a long story, so I wont get into the entire history; however, a few years back Building #4 burnt to the ground and all 28 units were lost. Fortunately, no one was hurt in that, but with the construction of a new #4, that building - and ONLY that building - was made smoke free.The rest of us have to suffer with neighbors who are making themselves sick, and bringing us along for the ride. Why after 15 years am I writing this? Because for the first time in all that time, we have a heavy smoker in an adjacent aparatment, and it STINKS!! Plugging up the fireplace and other leaky spots (reflecting on the other reviewer/tenant who suggested cheap construction) just doesnt cut it, and we have to contend with a noxious odor which everyone knows is annoying, harmful and - should be - avoidable.when confronted with this request for many months now, all we hear is its still a smoking community, or it takes time, we have to speak with our attorneys or it wont happen tomorrow. What we DONT hear is weve written/discussed this with Tim Naughton (CEO of all Avalon) and a letter is going to be sent out, informing tenants that at some point in the near future, all Avalon Bay communties will become Non-Smoking for the safety of all and comfort of non-smokers.No, what I do get from the office is I wasnt here then, or more of it takes time, etc. The latest insult came with the suggestion that we move to a non-smoking unit (which apparently is not even avaiable at the moment). This allowed no room for inconvenience or expense on our part, or for the continued safety hazard that any smoking policy leaves open.At the beginning, Avalon Oaks WAS a lovely community; relatively quiet, no noticeable police calls, and, at least in our experience, no smoking problems. But all that has changed, and its a shame. The Attitude demonstrated by new local management is unnecessary and unprofessional, although sadly it seems to be a sign of the times for millenials who are occupying more management postions. And so we hold our breath, literally, for something to be done thats logical and reasonable, not to shoot the messenger or tell them to move. The easy way out
