DO NOT LIVE HERE! I thought I was getting a good deal as a college student, I was wrong. The apartments need a renovation. Service is HORRIBLE. My first month I was double charged pet rent which they wouldn’t refund me, they just gave me a credit for the next months rent. Our heat didn’t work at all in the winter. Our water pressure is horrible and we barley have hot water. They came to fix our water meter and left our kitchen a mess. Pantry shelf was left off, water meter cover off, all our food on our table and chairs, and their ladder was also left in my apartment. I called to get it fixed because I am have my family over and was told it would get fixed. I come home and it is not fixed. They won’t have anyone available to fix it until Monday. My boyfriend thankfully was able to fix it so my parents would have a table to eat at when they came. I have lived here almost a year and I cannot wait for my lease to be up.
Lived here for about a year and a half. The staff are very kind and complete maintenance requests quickly, but the units themselves desperately need a facelift. The bathrooms do not have vents so you constantly have to clean mold off the ceiling. The apartments are kind of old so all kinds of roaches just walk in, not just the outdoor palmetto bugs. We had to keep the lights on in the bathroom 24/7 or else wed see smoky browns and brown banded nymphs running around and coming up the drains. Ask for weather strips on your door after you move in, it helped with our roaches-coming-inside issue a bit.The sound proofing could be better but it was decent enough. Close proximity to the university is very convenient; 100% recommend if you are a UNCW student and dont want to walk across college street, just be aware of the flaws of the units. If you have a better option Id think twice before moving here. Appliances are dated, living room+kitchen are kind of dark due to lack of natural lighting, and carpet seemed old.
Sadly, I’ve lived here for a year and it’s been the worst experience of my life. I would say this apartment complex deserves to be torn down and rebuilt but it would take them about 10 years to rebuild since it took over 8 months just to complete siding on the walls of the buildings and a year for a pool that isn’t even fixed! Heather did my lease and lied about multiple amenities and other important details about the apartment and time frame of construction that went on. Staff was mediocre at best, things are never repaired properly and break every other week. I wouldn’t even renew my lease here if it was the only apartment available for years. If you want professional, affordable, and peaceful living I would NOT move here. I’d give it 0 stars if I could. Worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in.
Lived here for a year during my last year at UNCW. The Property Management staff and maintenance workers are very friendly. However, overall I would definitely not live here again. My bike, which was locked from the bike rack, was stolen. The pool was never fixed after the hurricane and it turned into a disgusting frog pond that I had to look at from the apartment windows every day. Some residents received $100 credits toward their rent for not having access to a pool, but I was told I cannot have the credit because I was not renewing my lease. The bathrooms also have no fan to circulate out the moisture in the air, so if you do not want mold to grow everywhere you have to leave the window open and submit multiple maintenance requests to have them come clean it. The air conditioning is also very loud and sounds like a vacuum cleaner is going off in the living room.Five stars for the quick response to maintenance requests and the friendliness of the staff. Zero stars for everything else
A lot of college kids. Apartments are ok. Spacious. Lady that helped us was informal and did not have many answers. They are going through a remodel. Maybe the apartment will be better soon.
One of the friendliest and most helpful property managers and maintenance staff in all of Wilmington. Highly recommend!
I lived here for 6 years and loved it! Very peaceful and quiet.
Village Green is such a nice, affordable apartment complex literally steps away from campus. It is really quiet and the staff are beyond friendly and accommodating.
College apartments that have a very lived in feel...
Like the updates they are making to the outside
