Don’t let the low star ratings scare you, those reviews are old. i wanted to wait until my move out month to give a review. i have to say, what really made my experience at the Pines is the amazing office staff, specifically Amy. the maintenance can be slow at times, but they make up for it in fixing any issues that occur and are polite while doing it. the new management has helped to make a lot of things run smoother. everyone in the office is so helpful! thank you guys for everything! if i wasn’t moving out of state, i certainly would’ve stayed at the pines.

At first when we moved in November it was a little sketchy and throughout the next couple months management was horrible but after this new company bought it out everything has been amazing! Amy is working so hard and the managers are doing amazing things! We were staying at a 1 bed 1 bth and not a crazy amount of roaches (1-5) when we had problems needing fixing they came and fixed it. We will be moving into a 2 bd this Monday and we’re excited to see what this new company has for the community! The Pines doesn’t have the best reputation but I promise you guys it will be getting better!!

I am very pleased with where I live. I love the building that I am in because it is very quiet.The people that I have met in this building are very friendly also the people outside the complex are friendly. The grounds are keep up very nice, and the maintenance guys does a very good job. Most of all the mangers in the office are very understanding and not judgmental when someone is having a hard time,or money issues.I am proud to say I love living in the Pines.I would recommend you all to any one.

I’ve been living here a year, can’t get any service for anything on the weekends. Which is absolutely absurd for the price. I work a normal full time day job and don’t have the option to wait on this office to open during the week days. Screw this whole place, which offers basically no amenities and limited service. Don’t rent here.

When i had first moved in to my place, there was some things that needed to be replaced or fixed. The biggest issues were how long it took for them to fix my problems, but ever since they have gone under new management, Amanda has been absolutely amazing!! with making sure everything gets done asap! I received things i didnt even ask for. Amanda and April are very kind and understanding.

Someone keeps messing with cars around here I hope they get caught!

Exelentes Apartments

When I lived there from 1981-1984 Tyne apartments were awesome. My dad and I lived there while our house was being built and we were picking a lot. Loved going to Gregory Elementary and Sunset Park Jr high. Great location a few miles from the beach and a few miles into town.

At first the pines was not as great they are imroving. they still have more to go

I admit the apartment does have some issues but for the record African Americans are not the only people that live out there it is a mixed community. Also for the record not all African Americans that live out in the pines work for Hardy’s because I live out there and Hardy’s or section 8 is not paying my rent or bills and yes I am African American so please don’t label what you don’t know.

Serious maintenance problem when it rains I have water coming from outside to my bedrooms all they do is bring fans to dry the carpet dont put nothing down to kill the mold and meldew cant even rent a carpet shampooer to help get the smell out of carpet called them maintenance never came to see where the problem is just called some one to bring fans using my electric takes 3 to 4 days to dry mean while we having to make pallet in living then they go up on rent do not rent from these people

Terrible place to live...unprofessional peopl..they keep information from there clients. They also will tell you that ur apartment will be ready in 2 weeks but it really takes around a month & more. They have a terrible background checking system that would say that you have a Felony when you really dont. Im a homeless veteran that qualifies for a two bedroom apartment because I have a child with me. I gave them everything they needed in December. Now is January 17 and Im out of $225 no apartment and still living in my car. I wouldnt suggest moving there find another complex that is not associated with them... I know I have

They are terrible at maintaining the apartments they are practically falling apart. With a serious roach problem along with incorrect painting in the bathroom that has led to black mold on the bathroom paint. Kitchen and bathroom cabinet bottoms are rotted and sinking.

Horrible enviroment maintence never comes to fix anything. These apartments are falling apart but they had the gall to raise rent. Cant wait to move.

They lie about there office hours they say 8 to 5 but the close at 430 or 442 my mom been there 3 time to get a packege and there close my mom knocked on the window and they saw her and closed the blinds when they know they saw and and something happen to one of there windows and they said they where going to fix it the said that in octber and it is still broken

Very bad place to live maintenance problem roaches and the apartments stick of mildew and are run down and a lot if drug activity rent to High for these apartments I wish u could post pic smh sad so sad rain coming in want fix the problem my carpet get soaked every time it rains bad smell from carpet want put nothing down for mold and mildew just bring fans to dry carpet cant even sleep n bedroom then they say they going up on rent do not rent from them no maintenance and hey dont care about the tenant health due to mold and mildew

This place is so discussing Im so ashamed that anyone would live here I guess black need to find a better job then Hardys

I moved here in January of 2016 and Ive had problems ever since I moved out hereits very infested with roaches and bed bugsits a very uncomfortable environmentthey come in your apartment without your consent I most definitely wouldnt recommend this apartment complex to anybodyI actually cant wait to the day that my lease is up I do not recommend anybody to even come look at these apartments and thats the honest truth
