This is one of the nicest places I have ever lived. The amenities are wonderful and the extras each month are exciting and fun. I love the cleanliness of the property and the staff could not be better. I feel like I live in a neighborhood rather than an apartment complex. We all know each other either by name, dogs name, or from gathering together at the complex events. I would highly recommend Hawthorn at the Station to anyone anytime.

Lovely apartment complex surrounded by green. Nice amenities and pleasant staff. We, and our dog are enjoying the apartment, the surroundings and the other residents. The landscaping and upkeep are very good.

Hands down the best place I have lived in since moving to Wilmington in 2000. The manager Sharon and her staff are always friendly and put together awesome monthly events for the residents. The entire atmosphere here feels like one big happy family. Love it here and take great joy in showing the place off to friends and family!

Caroline and the team are rock stars! My job changed to remote and Caroline was so helpful to help me transition to a larger unit to accommodate my work from home life. It’s the perfect place to relax and work! I’m very thankful to have her!

I rented here for a year. The location is great. The beach, shopping and restaurants are all easily accessible by a short drive, bike or even walk. The apartment and amenities are nice and pretty similar to most other apartment complexes in the area. The community was really great and is what makes HATS stand out from other apartments. Most of the neighbors are very friendly and the office puts on regular events with good food. I would definitely recommend it!

Ive lived at Hawthorne for almost a year now. When I first moved here I was living in a roommate situation. Unfortunately, the roommate situation didnt work out. Hawthornes management team did such an excellent job in helping me switch into a different unit and eliminate the stress of my previous living situation. I would have never expected a management team to be as helpful as they were. They were professional, their response times were always less than 24 hours and all of my obstacles were resolved. This is why I will continue to stay a resident in the community that I love. Thank you management team.

We moved out and were told our bill was settled. A month goes by and we got an email from a collection agency. I got the receipt of the bill and Hawthorne had tacked on tons of late fees. We checked our account with them and it was at 0$ and were never notified by email or a phone call that we owed them anymore money. We have tried contacting them 10-15 times over the past week with them finally picking up the phone once telling us they would call us back and they never did. We got their courtesy officer on the phone and he told us he couldnt help us and then hung up. Maybe the most unprofessional situation Ive ever dealt with regarding an apartment complex.

I have worked for Hawthorne at the Station for almost 8 months now. It is an amazing property with a ton of great features like the path that leads you to Wrightsville Beach only 4 miles away, having two dog parks, and fun resident events each month!

This is a beautiful property! Well maintained and landscaped! The office staff, Sharon, Caroline, and Gia were so helpful when I stopped by and I will definitely be leasing with Hawthorne! Amazing pool deck, 2 amazing dog parks and very friendly residents who I have met so far! Amazing location near Mayfaire shopping and only minutes from Wrightsville beach! Anyone moving to the beach should definitely live here!

Do not ever move here with a room mate. Quoted 3 different amounts due to terminate lease (supposedly equally shared by both parties, but one paid double) and then charged even more. If these folks lips are moving, they are lying. Renters beware- they will tell you one thing and then do another. Taking advantage of the naive is their specialty.

Hawthorne at the Station is a great place to live! The grounds are beautifully kept and I absolutely love my apartment. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Every time I go in the office I’m greeted with a smile. Sharon and Caroline definitely make this place feel like home.

We have lived here for 5 years! When we first moved in we wanted to keep my daughter within Wrightsville Beachs Elementary School district. Now she is in Middle School and even though the schooling district has expanded there is no way we would leave! Last year we fell into new management and I must say Sharon & Caroline are AMAZING they are 90% of the reason we will continue to stay at our home. The other 10%? the lifestyle & location!

These apartments are wonderful! We moved to Wilmington NC from California in August 2017 and needed a place to land. HATS is awesome, the people who work here are kind and attentive. The amenities are great, a yoga studio, a gym, a fully loaded office work space and a club house with a pool table, ping pong and a pool. There is so much more, Ah! The most important part for our family, we felt safe here. We are building a home and moving and we will miss the community. Thanks for such a great landing HATS!!

Staff is friendly and very helpful

I love HATS! Best staff ever and the apartment is quiet and beautiful. The amenities add so much value to the apartment with free drinks, free breakfast on Saturdays, munchies out all the time. They like to have events as well as parties and celebrations with food and beverages provided. The amenities include leaving your dry cleaning at the office and then let you know when it arrives back as well as dog walking services, free gift wrapping and its all done with a smile. The staff are like friends and welcome you to just stop by to say hello. Maintenance is quick to fix anything that needs repair but the apartments are so well maintained that has not been an issue for us. We love this place and are glad we chose to stay here over the winter. Lovely landscaping, beautiful clubhouse and pool, friendly staff and good value...what else could you ask for....we highly recommend Hawthorne at the Station!

This place is just too awesome for words. Great location, great staff, they really seem to care about their residents and the upkeep of the property. There is no noise, its so quiet and peaceful and the community is great!

I lived here for a year and a half and everything about it was great. Awesome location, great facilities, amazing staff, and all the extras from breakfasts and snacks to all the events. I’ll truly miss living at Hawthorne.

What a great place to live! It is like living at a resort. The leasing staff is awesome and overall the amenities are great. It is very dog friendly and the apartments are beautiful

Amenities promised were only available part time as coffee, cups, water, drinks were consistently running out. Coffee machine broke down on regular basis. Apartments are noisy. Water bills late by 2 months and only estimated never actual. Fireplace doesnt work Management doesnt understand their own rules.

The new assistant at the desk is either incompetent or the manager is a lair. I believe its the new assistant from past experience with he manager.I frankly I do not have the time to find out which.When you pay around $1100 for a one bedroom apartment, you should expect the people working at the office to not lie or omit information.Also the walls are paper thin and you hear EVERY thing from up stairs or next to you. But that was not an issue for me since my neighbors were quite 99% of the time. Its gamble depending on who lives next to you.I already moved.

For the past 4-6 weeks our apartment has been infested with silk worms and we have reported it several times and management has done nothing and blamed it on the weather. Every morning we wake to an average of 10-14 worms that we have to kill and throughout the day it averages 20-25 worms. We are moving out in two weeks and cant wait! Great place if you want to have a dog, great place if you want to listen to the fights and drunks at the pool at night. Police just here the other night for a problem. Management talks a good game but doesnt follow through, dog pooh all around. It doesnt even deserve the 1 star.

Love living here! The staff is amazing, amenities are amazing, and I love how dog-friendly this community is!
