As parents of new tenants, we could not be more pleased with our experience thus far. From our first visit with Kati to move in day, everything has been great. Our girls’ apartment was clean and the community is safe and quiet. All communication with the community staff has been professional and timely. We are looking forward to a great year. Thank you Elevation!
This is a great place to live! I didn’t encounter any problems in the year that I lived here. The apartment was very clean, I always felt safe in the area, and the office/leasing staff are so nice and accommodating. They went out of their way to help me if I had any questions and are very positive, upbeat people. The only thing I’ll say is that if you have an issue with hearing people above you then you need to get the top floor. You will hear people, I was never really bothered but it can get really loud so if that’s an issue for you just try to get the top floor or earplugs:)
I lived here for about 2 years, and really enjoyed my experience! Pet friendly, washer and dryer in the apartment, and never had to wait longer than a day for a maintenance request. I always got so many compliments on how nice the apartment was when people came over! Couldnt recommend enough!! :)
I really like living at Elevation! Im a grad student and am in and out of the apartment often, but when Im here for classes and relaxing in the evening, the environment is quiet and welcoming. The internet is fast (perfect for online classes and meetings, as well as streaming) and all of the amenities provides by Elevation are really great. Other residents are usually friendly and respectful to the varying schedules and commitments of those in student living situations. My dog and I like that were not restricted by breed or size, and enjoy using the dog park for off-leash running and playing! The office staff are courteous and go out of their way to make sure we are happy and helped if we have any problems. This gated complex is nestled in quiet, safe residential area, but has very quick access to outlets to Wrightsville Avenue, College Avenue, and Oleander. Im looking forward to living here as I stay in Wilmington!
This is a great complex for any college student! The staff is very welcoming and is wiling to help you with anything and response well to emails. The apartments are nice and clean when you move in. All the residence are very friendly as well!
If youre a stressed student looking for a quiet place to live and a supportive community, Elevation is the place for you!! Its location is perfect for an easy and quick commute to campus, the Empie dog park and surrounding trails, and downtown. With provided furniture, all inclusive rent (no bills!), so many dog-friendly amenities (my dog is obsessed with the bark park and the view from our balcony), respectful and quick repairs for any issues, and just all around lovely people, I highly recommend it.
Although I did not stay with Elevation, I wanted to leave a review as they were so kind and responded so quickly! They seek to accommodate each individual, and cater to specific circumstances. If I need housing in the area in the future, I will definitely reach out to Elevation again!
Elevation apartments is a fantastic living experience. This was my first apartment off campus and it was wonderful! The location is super close to campus, downtown and local coffee shops and restaurants. The fact that rent is all inclusive and fully furnished (with HBO and Showtime!) was amazing and definitely gets you a quality experience at an admirable price. The staff is a superb team with prompt management and incredible maintenance services. I would recommend this cozy and quiet community to any college student!
I love this apartment, and Emily and Kati do a fantastic job running the place. The reason we chose this apartment complex in the first place was because of them; they are so nice and know every resident. They fix any problem you might have in a heartbeat and have stellar communication. Everything is clean and rooms are big, even in 3 bedroom apartments. Its also convenient you only have to pay for rent with no extra bills. Perfect for student living.
The ladies who manage Elevation are both wonderful! Theyre so kind and helpful. The apartments are very nice and the new office is awesome. The only downside of staying here is that noise easily travels through the ceiling/floor. While I never heard the neighbors beside me, I constantly heard the people above and below me. They did install fans after I left, so hopefully that helps with the noise issue!
For a college student that wants a peace of mind with nice staff and all inclusive rent (NO BILLS JUST RENT!). Honestly, its a no brainer to sign a lease with them. Kati and Emily are Very Friendly and kind as front office admin. The neighbors are SUPER FRIENDLY.Maintenance is quick. If you have a motorcycle, they are friendly with that. They will work with you.Highly recommend this place more than the other student living apartments. 👍🏿
I ended up going with a different complex solely because they had a 1 bedroom available within my price range, however Kati was by far the most helpful and responsive rep I encountered when hunting for a new apartment. The only reason I didn’t go with Elevation is because they had no 1 bedrooms available and I prefer not to have roommates, but their office staff seems to be on top of things, plus the complex and apartments themselves look nice, and at a damn good price point for the Wilmington area in my opinion.
Emily and Kati in the office are amazing about responding quickly to any issues Ive had. The apartments themselves are great quality in a great location. Been here for two years and I cannot recommend it to students enough.
I live in Enclave, where the atmosphere is friendly and theres no shortage of fun times. Katy and Emily are the amazing leasing consultants! Staying here is definitely a great opportunity.
I’ve only lived at Elevation for a couple of weeks, however it’s been great! I love the community, and Emily and Kati are so nice and helpful!
My time with elevation has been great! Emily and Kati have done a great job keeping the community together, and made living here a wonderful experience!
I have been living in elevation student apartments for almost a year now, and I love it!Pros: pre furnished, nice sized bedrooms, up to date finishes in bathrooms, nice appliances, clean, back patio, access to dog park, access to outdoor fire pits, dog friendly, putting in a pool, all inclusive utilities, brand new ceiling fans, maintenance team follows up immediately after a complaint is submitted, Emily and Kati (office staff) are always available and are so nice and helpful!Cons: small spiders in the corners (a LOT of them) wasps outside, community members aren’t great about cleaning up after their dogs, uncomfortable mattresses, visitor parking can be problematic, noisy!Overall, Kati and Emily have done their absolute best to listen to resident complaints, and the majority of existing issues (mattresses, parking, etc) are the fault of the residents or tribute properties themselves. Even with the bug issues Kati and Emily have sent out an exterminator to spray and even do bug foggers free of charge. They even organize community events and have snacks readily available in the leasing office! This was my first experience living in an off campus apartment and I was so nervous, but Kati and a Emily have really made this experience the best it can be! I feel safe in this community and I am renewing my lease again this year and every year until I graduate. I literally could not imagine living anywhere else in Wilmington... I’m just sad it’s exclusively student living!
Management, maintenance, and all other aspects during my tenure with Enclave has been pleasant and I would be happy to recommend this location to anyone.
Whenever I have a problem and contact Kati or Emily they respond so quickly. They’re so helpful!
Bubbles (my dog) and I love living at Elevation/Enclave! Emily and Kati do an awesome job at SO many things!!
I’ve lived here for about a month and a half, and I love it! It’s a nice gated community, and it’s close to grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. Everyone at the leasing office is super nice and helpful!
The rooms are nice and the neighbors usually keep to themselves. You can find a few people outside partying on the weekends but they dont cause too much commotion and it is a college-only complex so that sort of thing is expected. The staff at the office is friendly and always willing to help solve problems. The gates at the entrance now lower when the office closes so be aware of that, as you will need a key card to get in after those hours. All aspects taken into account, a very nice place to live.
The apartments are very nice, the nicest ones Ive lived in as a student in Wilmington. Youll see cops come in sometimes, just because its student living, and the office made me pay $400 for the couch because they found some kind of scratch on it on the back (where it was against the wall)? But other than that, I liked living here. Its usually quiet, which is nice for a serious student. Also loved that its right across the street from a great local hidden gem bar with pool tables and arcade games. Loved that they gave a free O2 gym membership, that was absolutely amazing. Also loved that everyone had assigned parking spots so you always had a spot. Pretty good, bit pricey, but overall Id say its one of the best for UNCW student living.
Best place to live. Ever. Seriously. Just take my word for it.
The staff at Elevation is great to work with. They are friendly, yet professional and are quick to respond to any needs. They are always working hard to improve the experience of all their tenants and make their experience as comfortable as possible. We look forward to every interaction we have with their staff.
I liked this complex because it felt quiet and safe. I was able to jog to the gym that gives free membership with your lease. I never have to fight for a parking spot because you have one assigned to you! Its relatively quiet which is great for students. I only gave a four because the guest gate would stop working sometimes which was frustrating for guests and when I would want to cut through from the gym. They were quick to fix it though.
I have lived here for 2 and a half years, the property managers are very professional, and if you have any issues they will accommodate them.
The parking is horrible for visitors. I got towed twice because there was no visitor parking available. No signs out where I was towed the first time. Oh, and someone hit my car while I was parked on a separate occasion. Too bad the camera mysteriously stopped working as it happened. Along with this, the appliances and plumbing is terrible. They upgraded it to look good, but it isnt actually decent quality. Will not recommend.
I have lived here for 4 years. Its a nice, safe place to live while in school. Its about an 8 minute bike ride to UNCW and 25 minutes to CFCC.I had a couple of minor maintenance issues over the years: for example, the fire alarm going off every few hours. They were all taken care promptly. The office staff is great. They are very kind and respond to emails usually within a day. They seem to always give away free pizza coupons, which is nice. They also throw small parties on holidays and after finals - its a nice opportunity to meet your neighbors or just get free food. The apartment itself is clean and has decent furnishings and appliances. I have hardly ever seen any insects in the apartment. The walls are kind of thin, so if people are listening to loud music next door, you will be able to hear it. This isnt usually a problem as there is a set quite time where people are supposed to not play loud music or anything of that nature. Its from like 10 or 11 pm to maybe 8am? The internet is okay. I have never had a problem with streaming netflix.Parking can be a problem. If you are a resident and someone parks in your spot, you can just have their car towed at their expense. I have never had anyones car towed from my spot. Visitors are only allowed to park in spots marked visitor. There are 5 visitor parking spots (the first five spots in the smaller parking lot) and people tend to park along the curb in front of the dumpster. This can be an issue when people park to close to you on either side and there is a car parked behind you along the curb. I have had this happen to me a lot and I have not been able to back out of my spot and am forced to wait for someone to move their car.Overall, I would recommend this place.
Great small community. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Maintenance is handled quickly.
The staff are friendly, my dog loves the boche ball court and I have already used their gas grill. But for anyone taking online classes, enjoys gaming or at least watching Netflix without buffering then so far not great. Concurrent i get download speed of less then 1mbps. Which is ridiculous. If you want people coming into your apartment without permission or any clue, For maintenance u didnt ask for then live here. And dont even get me started on the screwed up gate system/parking.All and all: this is a puny complex shoved into a smaller area, run by a bigger complex down the road that gets all the attention. Try non-student living.
Worst housing experience Ive ever had. I moved to Wilmington to start graduate school, and they put me in a room with a problem tenant who kicked out of living there more than once (for some reason they kept letting her re-sign leases), her boyfriend wasnt allowed on the premises, refused to communicate with me, etc. and the experience ended in *me* getting evicted from her complaints, with 3 days notice, 3 days before she was scheduled to move out of the apartment. If theyre going to mommy their tenants to that extent, they should BARE MINIMUM host a conflict resolution session with both tenants before they move forward with eviction proceedings - I had no idea that it was coming! They also made my roommate get ALL FOUR of her cats paws declawed. Absolutely inhumane. The Enclave is a nightmare if you want decent, independent living. None of their cameras work until theyre trying to penalize you for having too many visitors. The furniture is cheap & the concrete countertops were put in just so they can charge you for staining them after they failed to finish them correctly.I couldnt recommend avoiding Wilmingtons student housing options enough.
Office staff and rent pricing is great, havent had any problems with my apartment but the quality of furnishings is poor and high speed wireless internet doesnt exist, internet works for about 10 minutes then stopped work while in the middle of a quiz which I couldnt finish since it wouldnt load. Dont advertise high speed wifi and not have it.Edit: lowering my review to one star because the office was closed for 4 hours during normal business hours during a non-holiday when I got locked out of my apartment and emergency maintenance refused to send someone to come unlock it because the office on site should have been open.
The office staff are great, very supportive and helpful. The apartments are very nice
So far, so good!
Decent place
Its okay
Nice people
