The owners are so nice. I have not had an opportunity to do a manicure or pedicure here, however next time we are in town I definitely will! This review is because we were charging our car next to the Applebees and someone tried to break into it. The salon owners ran the person off and called the police.They are so nice and very caring.

Best nail place in Wichita!! Ive been getting my nails done for over 15 years and have been to quite a few places and I will tell you this place is best in quality and see design by far. I personally go to Danny whos kept my nails flawless for years now and I couldnt be happier. Ive seen the work of everyone there and its all wonderful, beautiful and quality work. I knew from my first visit I found my place because everything from the nails themselves to the kindness of my nail tech had surpassed anywhere Id been before. So listen when I tell you this is the place to go!!

I don’t ever leave reviews but I literally LOVEEE my nails. They went above and beyond. I went in there with a picture and came out with an even better design. I love them so much. They take their time to make sure every detail is correct and the nail doesn’t come out bulky like most nail shops don’t care as much. I’ve had these nails for two days and have gotten so many compliments AND I just found out that glow in the dark!!!! I was soooooo shook what a bright surprise. Love this place. They really do take care of you. The service and the quality is so worth the money. Definitely will come back. Girl if you’re reading this. GO HERE. they will get you RIGHT!

I got this really nice design from naruto the anime the girl who did my nails was super sweet and talked to me about what i wanted with my nails she made sure i liked everything including the design before leaving my friend was also with me and she got done early then i did i didnt feel rushed or anything for her to hurry and get out because she was standing behind me i would go here again.

I been going to there to have my nails & feet done for. 22 yrs.When I was working at Aircraft plant. I live. In Wellington Kansas. I drive from Wellington. KS toWichita KS every 2 to 3 weeks to have my 💅 & toes. Done there reasonable I go to SARA to get then done.

I was really excited to try this place the person I booked my appointment with was nice but the moment I walked in the door I felt like the ladies that work there were annoyed That they had a customer or something. The girl that did my nails was short with me and she acted like it was a problem to make my nails round and thin the tips. I would have loved to get a design but didn’t ask because she was already annoyed not to mention the price was higher then was I was told over the phone.

Truly the best place in Wichita to get your nails done!! Been going for years and not only are the prices good but they always do exactly what I ask for. Not many salons are like that. Definitely appreciate this salon a lot

Was a customer of Dannys for 3yrs which I enjoyed coming and getting my nails done and liked his work up until he started rushing on my nails and the quality start declining due to him rushing on my nails because he wanted to over book his schedule. I kindly let him know when he tried to get me to come in earlier for my appointment because he was going to be closing early that I wanted to reschedule because I didnt want him rushing on my nails this time. Well apparently he didnt like me saying that and never messaged me back and deleted me off his Facebook page where I would book my appointments with him. Very unprofessional and rude. I guess he doesnt like light criticism

Ive been to a few different places. This one is my favorite now. The nails I had done were the best shaped and over all best looking ones I have ever had somebody do. They lasted the longest as well. With the job I have I am rough on my hands and even all of my rhinestones stayed 😍👏🏻 I recommend them to anybody I can.

Never in my life have i ever had my polish chip raise or come off my my nails in sections after having them done. Its been a week and my polish is starting to raise off my nail.

Man Danny’s salon is the way to go! I’ve been there twice and my sisters go all the time. Danny and his employees love to take their time and make sure their work is perfect. If you want some amazing nails come here.

My grandmother and I have been going to Designer Nails since I was a little girl. My grandmother still goes religiously, i live in a different state and am not able to go anymore. But I definitely recommend Danny and his coworkers. If you want great nails, go here!

Myself, my girlfriend and her daughter all went to Designer to get pedis before our vacation in 6 days. For some reason, no matter where I go, or what time of day it is, or who I go with, I ALWAYS end up with the worst tech. She didnt have a clue as to what she was doing. I could tell by the way she was handling my feet that she had no experience or confidence in her ability. She had to have the mom of the salon help her clip my toes and direct her while she painted them. She left excess product on my feet and legs, so the dried product has been flaking off of my feet and legs since I left, she wasnt paying attention when she was using the pumice stone on my feet either because there is no difference in the quality of my skin from before to now. I explained to her TWICE what I wanted my toes painted like, she said she understood and then I had to stop her TWICE to explain that she wasnt understanding me. My French tips were nowhere near the same, I pointed out that the left one looked good, but the right one was too thick and didnt look like a French tip. Instead of repainting the toenail I didnt like, the mom just thickened the tip that I had originally told them I liked and wanted the other one like. So now I have two French tips that look like accidents. As well, I dont see very well, so I didnt notice til I got home, the sides of my nails on my big toes arent even all the way covered with paint. I definitely wont go back. And very unfortunately, I have to pay another salon to paint my toes again because I AM NOT going on vacation with an amateur paint job.

Danny, his wife and another younger chick do great nails if they want to do your nails that day. I had been going to them for more than 2 yrs spent a lot of money with there nail salon. They treated me like they didn’t want to do my nails or my toes . So I left with out getting my toes done. Ain’t been back since 😟

I would love to give a good rating since Ive been here before with no problems. But my most recent visit is just unacceptable. I spent $70 on a pedicure and acrylic nails. The lady that did them was in a rush uneven,jagged and crooked nail. I called Danny had me come in a few days later to fix them. He filed them and the paint came off and he did not repaint them. I had to come back again. Well I came back to get them repainted and my nails are blotchy which I tried to show him but he decided to just do top coat. I wont be returning again. Nails that Ive had less than a week look like they been on for weeks.

Ive going to Designer Nails for years now, and Ive recommended so many of my friends there. Its a great environment, and I adore all the nail techs. I have always had problems with other nail salons but not this one, Im beyond glad that I found them when I did!

The talent here is great the honesty not so much... They advertise gel nails but what they have is acrylic powder in two different labeled bowls... This is absolutely disgusting to me... When I asked the owner about it he said yeah not many people know you can get gel in a powder... Sorry but no you cannot. Great for acrylic nails but Dont pay extra for something they dont really offer.

I went here for the first time today and probably won’t be back. I had a gel manicure done and I felt like the nail tech was trying to rush me out the door. There are excess nail polish running down the side of my nails, on a couple of them the gel even got under my nails, so I guess the gel won’t last very long. I had crystals done on my thumbs and on one side they were crooked. The glitter polish on both my ring fingers weren’t covered on the side. On a couple of my nails there were bubbles, which means that the top coat wasn’t completely covering the nails. The service wasn’t very friendly either.

IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT COMING HERE DONT! Save your precious time and money and go somewhere! This place is such a scam! They can’t take criticism at all. Danny wouldn’t fix my nails unless I took my review down. So unprofessional. They cant even do the simplest things such as dip powder nails. I felt extremely rushed, they don’t put the time and effort into trying to do a good job. The owners are so rude and entitled. After leaving a bad review they asked me to take it down. Look at how they respond to criticism. Danny and his wife are super immature. Had to get my nails redone from them and they still looked scary. While I was getting them redone Danny’s wife confronted me and told me next time somethings wrong with my nails I need to say something. Instead of being concerned or apologetic she had a really strange attitude. I paid $67 for a chunky dip powder mess :(

My first visit to this establishment was also my last. The gentleman was slightly rude when my boyfriend and I walked in for an appointment. When my sister in law was getting her nails done the woman that was doing hers was very rude to her, told her she had to have her nails a certain length, and was snarky when my sister didn’t know exactly how the nails were done. The woman that did my nails was nice but my nails look nothing like they were supposed to, they started messing up and peeling after 2 days, and one of the nails that came off after 2 weeks left my skin underneath my real nail bloodshot and the tip of my finger has been numb for since it has fell off. They cannot/will not take credit for there actions nor will take constructive criticism. And to add when I looked at their reviews afterwards they have rude and vulgar comments to people who left reviews, proof of how unprofessional they are. Advice, take your business and time elsewhere to someone who will treat you good and do your nails professionally the way their supposed to be done.

Owner only wants to work on people who are having a lot do e and spending lots of money. One girl he pushed me off on did the worst job on my nails and on just a fee days they started lifting. Work is beautiful but its all balit the money

This would of been my second time coming to this nail shop. I had an appointment scheduled for sat morning at 9:30 am. Needless to say, I overslept by 30 min. I called Danny to apologize and see if he could squeeze me in and I was told to call back in a week! That is poor customer service! You should always go out your way to make sure all clients are satisfied. I ended up going to Magic Nails that day and the customer service was unbelievable. I will not go to Designer anymore!

Really dislike to give a bad review, but I did not have a good experience. It was my second time in this salon. I asked for an acrylic full set. The girl who did my nails was clearly not experienced in acrylics and took over an hour. I did not even get what I asked for, because she didnt think it would look good. I felt as though I was an inconvencience to her for asking for acrylics- which blew my mind at a nail salon! She seemed irritated throughout the whole experience, and also complained of how her nails were getting ruined as she was doing mine. I was very unhappy with the shape, however still tipped generously despite the poor customer service. Very unimpressed with this visit and will not be back.

Went in on my lunch break at 11:30 ON 12/19/2013 to get a full set of white French tip nails with the solar gel and today is sunday 12/22/2013 and my first finger has already came off AND all my others are starting to come up!! Listen, if you like getting your nails changed every week and dont like to be talked to while getting your nails done, then this is the salon for you, your nails wont last longer than a week. They also have low prices, but you get what you pay for.Ive been there twice and had my nails done but 2 different people. They always rush through my nails and make me feel very uncomfortable. Im a social person, I prefer to converse with other rather than sit in awkward silence for 30+ minutes. Ive tried to make conversation, but they act like they just want me to shut up so they can hurry and finish my nails and get me the hell out. I got my nails done a week ago and one popped off today. I barely hit it, and it was so loose it didnt even hurt, it came off with ease. They NEVER smile!! Even when you walk through the door, theres no pleasantries, like hello, welcome, how can we help you? Its just what can we do with no smile, no kindness to their voice whatsoever. Very poor customer service. I will NOT be returning. All around horrible service. Also, my nails were all different lengths.My point is proven by the owners response .

The worst experience Ive ever had... I went there and had my nails done and had one come off that same day. When I made contact with them they said it wasnt us, it was you... I asked for my money back they told me to get out of that shop and on top of it all while I was there the gentleman that works there kept trying to look down my shirt and at one point even commented on what nice breasts I have. This is all very unprofessional in the shop should be closed down. Im not sure what I have to do to get my money back but I feel like I paid for somebody to check out my breast and comment on them and have junk thats going to fall off on my fingers

This place is terrible. They will mess up youre nails, then Danny always ends up having to fix them, and tell you to come back a week later. Wouldnt fix my nails, because I left a review on his fb page. How is that good customer service? When I asked a women who worked there ( maybe his wife?) If the girl who was doing my nails had a license, she snapped back with ummm yeah! Ok, then why ask me if she was doing a fill? She asked, because they looked so bad. She had to grind them down so much, because the girl who painted on the acrylic did not know what she was doing. Very thick! Was disrespected, but thats ok! Word gets out, people wont return

Went in on 1/18/17 to get my nails powder dipped. I immediately knew that the guy didnt know what he was doing. About half way through, he told me it was his first time, but how hard could it be. Apparently too hard for him. He used the wrong materials, then he put a gel topcoat on that started chipping off within 3 hours. One nail has already had a piece crack and break off. I went in to get them redone, and I was told that I have to wait till Monday. It was 4pm and they are open till 7, but would not redo my nails today. Terrible customer service!!!
